I've decided that having over a thousand deviations, not including scraps, is a bit too cluttered for me. Therefore, I'm doing some spring [autumn] cleaning.


Rather than going through and deleting deviations and deleting friends that I no longer speak to [or who have stopped using their accounts], I've decided to start over completely.



I AM MAKING A NEW DEVIANTART ACCOUNT.





What does this mean for greendaygurl?
Not all too much.
It's going to turn into my art dump account.
I went through all the pictures on my computer and found the best that I've taken since 2006 (which was when I got my new computer). I narrowed it down as much as I could, and came up with around 100, which is pretty much exactly what I wanted.

The apartment complex my boyfriend and I live in just decided to fuck us over....BIG time. To the point where I have $2.74 left in my bank account, and he has -$116.


That's right.



NEGATIVE ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTEEN DOLLARS.



Between us, we don't even have a dollar to our name.



On top of that, one of our cats threw up a tapeworm today. A FUCKING TAPEWORM. We have to take him to the vet and get him tapeworm meds, or he could die. We [obviously] don't have the money for that right now.



On top of that, we don't get paid until Friday...and on Friday, all of our money is going to bills and rent, and we'll STILL have negative money, and STILL won't be able to pay for tapeworm meds (much less catfood....or even food in general).



Therefore, I'm asking, from the deepest part of my heart, for you guys to PLEASE BUY FROM MY ETSY SHOP! We need the money SO badly--this post doesn't even begin to describe it.

I give and give and give to everyone, and nobody gives back.

I worry about EVERYONE, ALL the time--I feel like I'm everyone's mom because if you tell me that you're not feeling well, I worry that it could be more serious, like cancer, and then I freak out just at the itty bitty little possibility that I might lose you [and yes, I do this for EVERY GOD DAMN ONE of my friends], but hardly anyone ever worries about me.

I try to remember EVERYbody's birthday, no matter what. If I don't have the money to buy you a present at the time, I at least try to make you something--even if it's just a card--and if I know I'm not going to see you on your birthday or anywhere even close to your birthday, I make it a point to make sure that I at least send you a message saying, "Happy Birthday!" [although I fully admit I don't ALWAYS do it day-of, but that's because I don't spend every day of my life on the internet]. This year, I came to realize that if I'm not having some huge party with free food [like last year] or if I don't remind you [like how I counted down my birthday on my myspace page and in a couple other places], nobody remembers me. I didn't get a SINGLE phone call on my birthday. Not one. Nobody called to do anything....but of course, on myspace, where it practically screams at you "HEY, RENAE'S BIRTHDAY IS COMING UP!!," I got a couple of comments.

I listen to EVERYONE's problems--no matter how big or small. And if you ask me not to tell anyone, I tell you I won't, and I honestly and truly don't. And if you ask me for my advice or opinion, I give it to you, and I'm honest about it. I don't hold back so that you know that what you're hearing from me is the truth.
Lately, I've come to realize, not all of my friends are nearly as truthful as I am.





I've been doing this my whole life.


And sometimes, I feel like I'm being naive, and that I'm way too overly nice about things because I never want to hurt anyone's feelings. Sometimes I feel like I should just act normal. Care about others, sure, but not care so deeply about others, especially if they don't care so much about me....but that's not how I am, and I can't change myself. I keep getting hurt because of it, but I can't change it, and I don't want to.





None of this changes a Goddamned thing--I'm still going to keep doing all of it, and I love you all. I just hope that none of you are taking it for granted how much I really do care for all of you--and don't you EVER doubt it, because I do.
I'm not mad at anyone, I don't want anything--only to fill you in on how I feel sometimes, and nothing triggered this. It's just something that I've been seeing more and more over the years, and now I'm finally realizing it.



And I just want to know...how would you feel if you lost me?
How many people would care?
How many people would even notice?
And of those people, would it even be half the amount of people that I would take a bullet for..?





I want you all to do something, right now.
Forget that I even wrote this.
It's not like it's going to make a difference in your life anyhow--I'll keep on loving you all, I'll keep on caring for you all, and worrying about you, and giving you advice (and hugs). I'll keep on crying with you, and I'll keep telling you happy birthday, and introducing you to bands that I think you might like because I know the music that you like.
Just forget that I said all of this, because it doesn't affect you a bit.
It's just the ramblings of someone who cares.

I would like to add that I DO REALIZE that there ARE a few of you who DO care.



I just want to make sure you know that I HAVE NOT forgotten about you--you know who you are, and you know who you aren't.

I got a ton of generic "Happy Birthday! " comments on myspace/facebook/livejournal, but that was all. I didn't even SEE any of my friends on my birthday besides Billy and Allie, but I only saw them because they just happened to be at the same hockey game that Austin and I went to, and we just happened to run into them.


- I still can't believe that my uncle is gone...if I see any of you in the next few days and I'm happy, it's not completely real. My uncle hasn't left my mind since everything happened. I think about him constantly, every 5 minutes or so.
My mom went with my gramma and my stepdad to the funeral....Johnny and I were not invited because my mom wants us to not miss any school or work....and I really wanted to go, but the next fun fact will explain why I can't.


- My last paycheck was a total of $94.93. For TWO WEEKS. Because my fucking GM doesn't give me the hours that I used to get....I used to work 6 hour shifts, now I work 4. I used to work an average of 4 days a week, and the past two weeks, I worked a total of...5 days, I think? The first week I was only scheduled TWO DAYS. I need to quit this job and find a new one; a better one. I've been sending out my resume and went on a face-to-face interview and a phone interview...but nobody has called me back yet....


- Come to think of it, I haven't seen ANY of my friends in WEEKS, really....I mean, I've seen them...but haven't hung out with any of them.

2. I am a vegetarian [have been since I was 15]. I don't eat ANY animals [not even fish or chicken...people who eat fish and chicken are NOT vegetarians--they're either Pescetarians [link] or Pollotarians [link] ], and I don't eat eggs or drink milk straight [if they're in something, like baked into a cake, I'll eat them].

3. I've been playing guitar since I was 13 years old.

4. I attend the International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa, FL, and my major is in Digital Photography.

5. I have purple hair, my right eyebrow is pierced, and I have a tattoo of a shooting star [that I designed] on the back of my neck. Yeah, I'm one of the cool kids. [j/k]

6. I volunteer as a counselor for a youth diversity awareness summer camp every summer, called Anytown [link] and I plan on getting a tattoo of that peace sign on me one day. haha

My friend Corina dyed it for me the other day--she gave me highlights, then dyed ALL of my hair purple, so my brown hair now looks darker and has a purplish tint to it, and the highlights she did are realllyyyyy pretty purple : ]





Btw, my favorite color is orange, but orange, in my opinion, doesn't exactly look perdy as a hair color [not a wild and crazy hair color, at least, which is kind of what I was going for. A natural hair color, yes.].
