after an 8-month long job, i am finally able to say that the wiki's have fully recovered! (if you want to know the full details, let's just say bleh! ). No one's fault, these things happen.

They all are running MediaWiki version 1.15.0 plus many extension and security features I've looked into. Please Test them out, and give me feedback on what you think.

Card Game

I am still working on the card game. This is for a few different reasons:

1. Have something people can work when they don't want to work on Monster Trainer, but still wish to be involved in GGS.
2. A place for me to experiment with the latest in wiki-technology, CSS and other stuff; but, not interfere with flow of work on active projects.
3. Plus since it's not meant to be a stand-alone game, what i do there has no effect anywhere else.

I mainly only work on it when i need a break from my other projects, but that doesn't mean it has higher or lower precedence to my other projects; i just make sure i devote more time to the projects that need it (sorry for the serious tone ).

I am currently in talks with 4 people whom maybe interested in joining GGS. Of these (if i remember correctly), there are 2 members from dA and 2 members from the RPG Maker forums. *crosses fingers* Let's hope i am successful. I'm not the best recruiter in the world, but i try my best darn it! I just get caught up with the question "what do you want me to do", b/c my usual response is "depends on what you are capable of / have to offer " or some kind of conversation ruiner. This is why thankful for my realizers. They are capable of quantifying what a project needs, an area i still have trouble with.

It's a place for project managers to post "help wanted" ads. Once there, the recruiter can then post the above link (and an associated #anchor) on any site they are a member of, and keep the respective post short and to the point, reserving the bigger details for the wiki.

9 Colors of Hair

I put up a story back in march called "9 Colors of Hair", thinking it was going to be no more than the opening scene for a game. Then i got some feed back, and based on that feed back, i decided to make it a stand-alone story that hopefully lends itself very easily to be a game setting.

After a few months of thinking, i came up with the second chapter and posted it in a few places, including dA. The most feedback i got on it was from a gamer forum i am a member of. So, after seeing that, i pulled down chapter 2, changed it based on the feedback, and decided to post it only on that forum.

We are those who are interested in game design/development (as a hobby or career option) so much so we want to start an organization about it. This organization would develop it's own games, releasing them on the internet for free or relatively cheap. These would be professional-level games, developed by volunteers exploring there own talents. Then when complete, they may put there contribution of the game on their resume.

now, i don't want to put down those that have helped in the past. i think they've done great so far, and there contributions are greatly appreciated; but i am starting to worry if i am doing something wrong. Am i not advertising correctly? am i not describing the games in a manner that is not liked? are the people that i'd asked too busy then they originally thought and are afraid to tell me? these and other question are currently plaque-ing my mind. Everyone says the "Grifkuba" idea(s) are good, and the games are really coming along; but it seems to be the work of a few very dedicated individuals and the occasional contribtuions of others.

will some one please tell me what i am doing wrong and what i can do to fix it?

1) I go to college
2) I've been creating games since the 7th grade.
3) rarely, any of the games I've created where playable, being they mainly ideas for video games and i didn't have the skills/resources back then. (i have some now a days)
4) I'm an eagle scout
5) I've been in more executive positions than you can shick a steak at.
6) i'm really good at functional side of things: like algebra, physics, chemistry, calculus,
7) i like the color orange and almost all of it's related things: the fruit, the smell, the flavor, etc.
8) the one thing everyone can say they have in common: they have a hard time understanding me. (talk to some of my best freinds, the people who know me in college, my parents, or even the person who thinks I'd make a good subject for psychological study.)

Before joining dA i was on here looking to see if this community is one i would do well in, and be able recruit some artists to my game projects, recruit some game designers to my organization, etc.

At that time, i was all over dA looking at various artwork and such. By the beginning of may, I've developed certain areas i was continusly going back to, and when i started my account, these became the areas i added to my front page, replacing "newest prints" and whatever the other was.

After starting my account, i got into the habit of opening each print i wanted to see in a new tab. This would allow me to look at each one, comment, then close the tab and automatically have the next deviant ready for viewing.

I would also do this with the pages: "newest", "popular", "newest anime/manga", "newest games", "x messages", "y deviations", and my user page (too see if anyone left me a message).

On each of those pages, I'd open each deviation in a new tab, and close the tab when i was done with it. (for "y deviations" I'd stop at 10 new deviations to give myself a break)

Each deviation I'd like i would leave one of 3 comments, depending on what i liked about it. This isn't too give the author/artist the short end of the stick, this is ore b/c i have a limited vocabulary and poor spelling skills. (but, you make the best with the hand you are dealt, right?)

The 3 comments are: "nice", "cool" and "sweet". They vary from use to use on their meaning and ranking.

The ones i really like i favorite, and if able, separate them into the categories i am looking for (like fictional geography).

Anybody who is nice enough to put a thanks on my userpage, i go and add them to my watch and then get more deviations form them (notice a cycle?).

Also, i make sure i reply to every comment i can. "Thanks" always get a "no problem" or "your welcome".

Hello all GGS!

i am hoping that everyone is having a good weekend, I've got some thing to cover.

I leave for a summer job in 2 weeks, and that will pretty much occupy my time for 6-7 weeks (June 28-August 20). I will get time off, but i can't guarantee i will be able to commit specific times to work on the projects. This leaves us 2 options:

1.) we put the project on hiatus
2.) i appoint someone to take charge of the project until i return.

personally, i prefer #2. I know i risk it becoming an entirely diffrent game when i return, but at least it will have some progress made. If i don't find anyone...there's always #1.

So, if you are interested in taking over a project, please email me soon so i can train you in what you need to know to do things like: moderate the wiki, tag pages and form the teams and parties.

So, hello all. My user name is ~grifkuba. (i belive it's call deviant name?). I created this user name for multiple purposes:
1) to be able to comment on piece i like.
2) to post pieces i made and see what people reactions are
3) to recurit people who are interested in game design.


I am in charge of a Group called "Grifkuba's Gaming Services" and we are currently working on a Monster RPG and a Card Game. (Plus we are helping out on
2 other projects, and i want to send =digitalsaviour 's card game out to see what the group thinks). If you want to know more about any of the games, or have a game yourself you need help on, just contact me.

As for myself: I like all art, though I mainly stick to stuff related to anime or games.
