The camp. Was amazing.
There's no way to describe how it was. Like no other place I've ever been. So fucking great.

And the classes themselves. I've never had that much interest in a course before. HOLY FUCKING GAWD.
Not to mention the fact that the lack of educational apathy was refreshing. I'M NOT ALONE, I'M NOT.

Okayso.
I've recently taken it upon myself to try to complete Pokemon Sapphire using only pokemon that remind me of certain OC's I hold dear to my heart. Currently, there are five; the number may rise to six if I can decide on a pokemon for the sixth OC.
(Ideally, my team would consist of a Marshtomp, a Mightyena, a Kirlia, a Breloom, and a Swellow. Right now, these are all in their previous forms.)

I've already run into a problem: none of my pokemon can use Cut, the HM needed to advance in the game after the first gym leader. (I'm fairly sure that Breloom can use it, though.)

My question to you guys is, will I run into any more HM problems like this? Will I need to catch other pokemon, outside of my OC-clones, to finish the game in regards to HM usage?
(lol The only reason I ask this is because I know that most of my friends on dA are huge pokenerds. As am I, but that's beside the point. xD)

But the trip was amazing. Absolutely amazing.

For this bitch that roomed with me and my friends. Let's call her Erika.

So Erika was complaining the entire time. About almost everything.
"This hotel is shit." "The sheets smell weird." "This food is disgusting." "Canada sucks. Why can't people speak English. Don't they know that tourists don't speak French." (Note: Erika has no real sense of understanding for anything. Nor is she especially good at French.)

And, once we were in the hotel for the night, she would knock on the walls, past the hotel curfew, just to see if the people in the other rooms would knock back. As we're all yelling at her to stop since we were trying to sleep and we didn't want to get kicked out, she tried calling the maid service because she hated the sheets.

Since it's after curfew, the maids obviously wouldn't change the sheets (if we wanted sheets changed, they would say, we should have done it earlier), we continued yelling at her. Et cetera, so on, and so forth.

On the way back (we took a luxury bus), she couldn't stop ridiculing the movies, especially Wall-E (which I don't understand why she would criticize that movie to begin with, but whatever.)

And then she randomly starting raving on about the Jonas Brothers.
My friend, who was sitting behind us, said, "Wait. You hate Wall-E, but you like the Jonas Brothers. What kind of monster are you?!"

Erika got all flustered and yelled out, "WELL THE BEATLES SUCK. THEY NEVER HAD ONE GOOD SONG." Even though we weren't even remotely talking about the Beatles.

So I was all, "Wow, you must be a huge war supporter. SUPPORTER OF MURDER, YOU SUPPORTER OF MURDER." (Note: I am anti-war.) "All the Beatles sang about was peace, love, and happiness. If you're against the Beatles, then you're against all those things, which means you support war, hatred, and misery. Have fun." This was an arguing tactic to get her to rethink her stance.

She took is seriously and started rambling on about how we should be in Iraq. (She's an extremely right-winged Republican.) But by then I was done with all her fucking bitching and blasted my iPod. Because BYOP is a LOT better than listening to Erika rant about her half-reasoned opinions.

First, the game Spore comes out.
Then, I realized I wanted it. And I really, really wanted it. I never feel like that about PC games.
Next, I get Spore for Christmas (for the PC), and I become very happy.
I try to install it today. It takes a while, but it's on there. I click the icon to start to play.
I get this message that says my graphics card isn't curent enough to support Spore and that the game won't play.

I didn't think much of it until a while ago, when I explained it to my mom. And then it hit me like a bitch-slap. Hard. Thus, the sadness started.
And now I have a $50-ish game and an add-on pack I can't use, and I probably can't return them either. :/

Does anyone know if Spore is on any other platforms? The complete game, not just the Creature Creator? Like the Wii, or the PS2? I doubt it, but giving up hope is the enemy. >.>

Okay, so I get to mah new high school, right? It's bigger than my last school, but it was all good. I'd be able to navigate, right?

WRONG. It takes all of the four minutes they give you to get from point A to point B, leaving little room for any other necessities. I can't go to my locker more than once a day, so I need to acquire a backpack that I need to carry around. Everywhere. With lots of heavy textbooks and shit. Because God forbid I take anything else but honors classes. I can't even join most of the clubs I want to because I have shit to do immediately after school. GRAWER IMA DESTROY THE WORLD. D<

To make things worse, my French teacher can't even pronounce my French name right. She makes it sound like "Muriel" (ew) when in reality it sounds like "Meeray." (It's spelled Mireille, but that's beside the point.)
How the fuck am I supposed to tell a God-damned teacher that she's pronouncing my name wrong? "Oh, sorry Madame, even though you've been to France at least three times in the past decade, you're pronouncing a common name wrong." HELLZ NO. Not if I don't want to be hated for the rest of the four years I have to spend with her. >.>

Fine, okay. I could do that. But then I disappear for another two days, and now I find another 12 deviations and even more messages.

I find it incredibly discouraging that some of the better artists I watch on here are able to pump out 3-4 new drawings/pictures/whatever in a span of two days, and here I am coming out with a new deviation every month or so. Do they ever sleep? @_@

In other news, I am so tired and sore that it isn't even the slightest amusing. I spent the week at a day camp (hence the absence) where all we did was formal dancing (as in ballet, jazz, tap, etc.) and eat lunch. Because I was coming into it from a summer of little to no physical activity, it was brutal.

Not to mention the skinny bitches I had to put up with. Since my level/class has so few people in it, my dance instructor, in all her wisdom, put the oldest and most advanced group in with us, the second-most advanced, in the same classes. To her, it wouldn't have been a problem, since in her head we all get along, but in reality only two of the seven people in the highest level remotely tolerate us, and we only like those two people. "Tense" doesn't even begin to describe the atmosphere.

The facts that I am neither skinny nor self-confident add to the turmoil. D:

Secondly, if you are ever forced to watch the remake of the movie "War of the Worlds," run away screaming. That movie sucked. I can't believe I willingly sat for two-some hours watching as the aliens spewed human guts everywhere. The ending was lamer than a deformed baby (no offense to deformed babies or anything), the whiny girl (played by Dakota Fanning) didn't die, and the filmmakers made me think that they killed off the hot guy until the last three minutes, when they decided to show him alive and with the other fugutives. Not to mention that at the end they zoomed in on some paramecia and said that man never conquered the alien invaders. Grr. >.>

But, I'm so disappointed. I had to leave early for the second- and third-to-last days of school because of this mandatory dance recital I was performing in, and I missed everything good. These two kids, who were known to hate each other during the year, were karaoke-ing together, and he asked her out over the microphone and they hugged/kissed/etc.! I can't believe I missed that! T_T

I also skipped the last day of school altogether, since there was another recital that night, and now I'll never see my one friend again, since she's moving. T_T It's too bad, too, since we couldn't really say goodbye because of my leaving early on the second-to-last day.

Neh, I knew missing the last days of school was a bad idea, but I really had no say in it, since my dance teacher was a *insert random name here* and rescheduled it so she wouldn't have to go through the end-of-the-year hell that my family did (her kids got out earlier than I did).

*sigh* My angsty rambling is over now. Go back to your happy lives while I cringe in my dark little corner of hopeless optimism that never seems to fulfill itself and grunge music.

So, I got this new digital camera, and it came with this photo editing software that you use to transfer the images from the [xD] card to the computer. Well, it comes with a whole lot of other stuff, too, like adjusting the color balance and saturation, grayscaling, sepia-scaling, cropping, and other editing features.

I'M EXCITED. I may not be able to color with this program, but I can edit the coloring I've done with those good ol' colored pencils of mine so they don't look as horrible, and I can basically make anything I want look professional and cool!

XD It was a good day.

Okay, so I got the new Panic! At The Disco CD today along with a t-shirt (Hot Topic was having a sale XD), and when I showed my purchases to ma mère, she said, "So, they dropped the exclamation point?"

And, when I went to look again, it was true. D: I was so sad; now, P!ATD is just PATD. XP I mean, I understand that they're growing up (they were seventeen when they recorded A Fever You Can't Sweat Out), but why drop a cool exclamation point like that? What did it ever do to them?

I haven't actually listened to the CD yet (I plan on doing so later today), but...I still can't believe that the very first band that got me into not-so-mainstream alternative music changed themselves.

Gah, I can't stop listening to that PATD disk! D: It's just...too cool! It's a LOT different from their first CD, but it's a good different. Now they don't sound like a more upbeat clone of Fall Out Boy (hate them -_-)!

If you ask me, it sounds like they took their old music, mixed in some classic Matchbox Twenty stuff, and added a Colbie Callait touch. XD But, that's just if you ask me.
