Hey guys!

Yep, las week I was finaly able to get most of my Diorama supplies bach from my friend's place. The only thing missing is the "Ripplin' Water" kit.

But for the most part I have almost everything I need to work on it! I applologize for I can't really take any Progress Pics, my camera still doesn't have a battery despite my constat reminder to my Mom. But for some reason she bought cork board for me which I had mentioned off and on for the diorama, but it was the wrong thickness. (too thick to be more specific)

Anyway I've decided to add things to my diorama, originaly it was just going to be a water stop along a lonsome single track main line in the middle of an arid desert. But after that cache of Old Time buildings and rolling stock it gave me the opertunity to add a little more interest. I also decided to add an old wooden railroad crossing. I had some spare change and bought some bass wood at a craft store. The wood peices are small enough to be scale lumber and I cut and glued 4 of them together side by side. Then with an Xacto Knife I sribed in where supposed boards would have met. Then with my .005 pen I carefully added "nails" to the surface. This part is meant to go in between the rails, since I have no cork for roadbed I'll have to wait to do the approaches. But I then mixed a stain of flat grey and thinner. I had tried alcohol before and was like mixing oil and water.

This was really the first time trying these tecniques and the what I have of the crossing looks good but it doesn't look quite as "aged" as I had hoped. I was going for that grey Sun Bleached look. but for a first attempt I think I did rather well.

I also took on of the smaller old time buildings, a "Post Office", and had begun repainting it. These buildings were build from REALLY OLD Kibri Kits. As far as I would tell they were German, anyway...

The parts were all pre-colored plastic and not the nice kind. The color wasn't consistant, it was mostly a dark or forest green but it also had swirls of brown, pale blue, and other colors. Well since this little building is going to be in the middle of the desert I figured I's give it a better look. The roof lookes like it was supposed to be Tar Paper or something of the sort so I've sprayed it flat black. Then I gave the sides t coats of Flat Tan. Unfortunately the tan I have is a darker shade than I was expecting. I may mix a lighter shade if I can't find one and then I'll give the whole thing a black wash. The stove pipe I'll color Gunmetal and then use a combination of red and orange coloring chalks to similate rust. I'll also make some "sand" to dust my buildings with to make them more at home in the desert.

If I can take some pictures I will certainly post them ASAP. Also I'm working a drawing to show you my vision for the diorama, "Mojave Tanks".

Oh, and one more thing! I've also recently decided to add telegragh poles and lines. I know how I can my own poles but what should I use for the wires, Black or Grey thread. Also, do any of you know where I can get HO scale old style Glass Insolators? <img src="http://e.deviantart.net/emoticons/c/confused.gif" width="15" height="30" alt=":?" title=":? The list currently has 18 locomotives and I'm nopt even done yet!

Most of my locomotive fleet will either be kitbashed, modified, or scratch built. But I have started work on drawing each locomotive. So far I have engines #1 through 4 drawn and #9, the C&S style Cooke Mogul. (ironic, I decided to number it #9. )

Engine #1, 0-4-0 Porter with small diamond stack and box headlamp.
Engine #2, an 0-4-2 Porter.
Engine #3, another 0-4-0 Porter with an Arc style headlight and diamond stack. (all are Bachmann products)
Engine #4, an 0-6-0 Porter with tender.

Some of these I've started adding color but most of the drawings are still white, due to a lack of required marker colors. (Curse Dead Art Supplies!!! )

Anyway, you can expect to see these engines up with in the next week or so. Just thought I'd let you all know what I'm up to.

Alright guys, catch ya; later!

Yeah, I know, this is WAY over due.

But because of all the recent Holliday bussle I have only now just been able to REALLY get back online! You see I went to the library on Monday after Turkey Day and their internet was down. (FAIL!!! :shakefist) They said that they didn't know when it would be back up. So after a few days I finaly decided that I'd get a Horry County Lidbrary card so I could use the the computers at a closer library than have to drive an hour one way all the time.

So anywho, yes, Thanksgiving was Fantastic! This year my Mom had gotten a 23 pound bird! It was FREAKING HUGE!!!! And we've been eating leftovers ever since! NO JOKE! Her Green Bean Cassarole was absolutely Fantastic this year! Then over the weekend my Friend had an after Thanksgining "Fursgiving" celebration. Essencialy we called up some of our Furry Friends and we had a Thanksgiving lunch of our own. And I learned something new that day, if you hav even carved a Thanksgiving Turkey with a Bowie Knife, you might be a Red Neck! lol!

Actually, we didn't have a carving knife for some reason so our friend Blaze took out a Bowie knife he had in his truck! Well, improvising works! And yes, the Fursgiving Luck was also Fantastic! But what really made our day was when we all went to catch a new Movie that came out. Now I'm sure by now you've realized that I've been using the Word Fantastic alot.

Well the reason fo that is that we all went to see "Fantastic Mr. Fox" and there is only ONE word that can describe the movie and how we felt about it, it was FANTASTIC!!!! I have to say that is is one of the VERY BEST films I have ever seen! Its got George Clooney, Bill Murry, Owen Willson, and even Meryl Streep! An all star cast and it was Fantasticaly Funny!!! It was chock full of random, but intelegent humor! I HIGHLY recomend seeing it! We all pretty much wanted it on DVD right after watching it! Heck I even went to see it again last Sunday after Church!

Anyway, again I'm sorry I've been gone for a while due to unavoidable circomstances. Also I have some new art that I'll actually be able to post!!! So I won't be writing as much, persay. Well thats about all for now I guess.

Catch Ya' Later!

Hey Guys! wud up!?

Well anywho, my spirits are a bit higher than usual and I've been over all in a good mood. But as I'm sure you know that there always something to challenge that.

But first I have made some desisions pertaining to a few things. As I've already told you I've entered a Sweepstakes from Model Railroader Magazine. The Grand Prize is a $2,000 Shopping Spree at a Hobby Shop of the Winner's choice! Well I've finally settled on a Scale I wish to model. (Sampug will propably be happy about it, or jealous, maybe both! ) I've settle on On30, reason being is that when I think about what scale I'd like to model I always come back to On30. Plus me being a Narrow Gauger and all, it wouldn't seem right if I did HO or something of the sort. And so I've drawn up a track plan of an On30 layout. Its fairly simple and doesn't have a WHOLE LOT of operational interest but I think I'll enjoy it all the same.

The "Wolf Creek & Flagstone" is its name and it is based in the Colorado Rockies. (Sorry Railwolf, not the Wolf Creek we all know and love. ) though the size of the layout is challenging. I wanted a somewhat small layout but larger than the typical 4x8. It its larger thatn that but I wouldn't go as far to say a Mid Sized layout. Its dimensions are 5x10, the track plan is almost directly taken from a plan I found in a book. The layout in the book was called the "Denver Central" and was for an HO 4x8. But I added 2 extra feet in length and and extra foot in width. The extra 12 inches will allow me to have a small two or three track yard, a two stall engine house and turntable; along with your typical structures that accompany an engine facility. (Coaling tower, Water Tank, Sand house, ect...) The track makes up a figure 8 pattern wich crosses over itself via a wooden deck truss.

The topagraphy is rough and challenging, a canyon runs across the layout diagonaly with the "Wolf Creek", running at the bottom. For a short way the 30in gauge line runs along it. Also around here there is a mine and two side tracks for operational interest. there will also be a second Railway, an On18 scale one! This Rwy's soul pourpous is to serve the Mine, hauling ore to it. This will be accomplished by using Peco HOn30 scale track, basicaly N gauge but the ties are more appropriate for HO. But I figured it would suit well for O scale as well for 18 inch gauge. I will keep this line fairly simple, a single locomotive (either a compressed air engine or a small steamer, either one made from an N scale chassis) that runs on regualr DC and hauls a string of mining carts. Single track line with auto reversing loops at either end for continuous running.

Last time I was online I did look for suitable structures to use. But I'd use the $2k primarily for building materials. I'm considering using Woodland Scnenics Foam Products because their simple and easy to use, plus it will make the layout VERY light wieght. But the most would be spent on a Starter DCC control system that would cost somehwere in the mid to high $300 range. But as I looked for structures I focused one finding a two stall Random Stone style engine house. Couldn't find anything of it, not even a decent looking wooden one! And here is where the frustrasions begin.

So I scowered the internet relentlously and found silch on a stone two stall endinge house. Then I went to B.T.S. (Better Than Scratch) and looked at a single stall wooden engine house. I took note on its dimentions and began working on my own engine house! I will make mine from plaster and then later, using a rotary tool, carve out the spacing between where the random stones would meet. I opted to use plaster because when dry it would have a stone like texture in scale. The sides have larger arched windows and then another thought came to mind. Could I find windows already available to insert into the openings? Well I haven't been able to look yet but I will soon. I'd like to avoid scratch building them if I can.

And them came another problem. You guys know of the 30in gauge Winan's Camel I was working on and recently I decided I wanded an On30 one! so I set about designing one for On30. Originaly the drivers were as big as the ones used...

Ok, first off I'd like to say that yes there is WAY TOO MUCH hype about that date and what not. And the way I look at it is if the world is going to end then, ok, that's how is going to happen and there's nothing within our power to do anything about it! If the world doesn't end than GREAT! We all ge to move on with our lives!

So PLEASE don't aregue with me for what I'm writing in this journal. AND WARNING! THIS DOES CONTAINE A FEW SPOILERS!!!

Yesterday after Church I went to see the Movie 2012 to kill some time before meeting a friend later that day. Well, the only way I can describe the movie was... AMAZING!!! IT WAS REEEEAAAALLLLYYYY GOOD!!! I have to admit though, I'm a sucker for natural disaster flicks. But surprisingly the film didn't have that serious of a tone, there was ALOT of humour involved! But yet it still kept the sence of urgency. Watching the movie I kinda felt the same way when I saw "Sahara" for the first time. Now I watch alot of Discovery and History Channels alot and know a fairly good bit about geology and science in general. So there were a few parts in the movie that were unrealistic, scientificaly anyway.

The first being the eruption of Yellowstone National park. for those of yo who don't know it IS a "Super Volcano". Hence why there are all sorts of guisers and shtuff there. First off the eruption was too slow, it should have been like droping 200 nuclear bombs at once, or something along the lines of that. Also you CAN'T out run a Pyroclastic Cloud in a Motorhome/Camper!!! Pyroclastic Clouds can move anywhere between 100 and 400 miles per hour. (correct me if I'm wrong about that but I'm sure they AT LEAST can move 100 mph) Another thing is when they're in the little 2 engine plane it gets engulfed for a short period of time in the Pyroclastic Cloud and then escapes unscarved. First off, A Pyroclastic Cloud is made of SUPER HEADED GAS, (which is REALLY HOT btw) ash, lova bombs/molten rock, and other kinds of debris. So the plane would have been destroyed even for the short time it was engulfed.

Next were the super tsunamis, now on the scale that they were you would need an "Global Killer" kind of ateroid to ipmact the ocean to get waves of that hight. Second, when a Tsunami, no matter how powerful, will not have a massive hight in the open ocean. Its only when the approach shore to they build in hight! So a wave big enough to wash up to mount everest is impsible withought an asteroid impacting.

Also the "Realism" factor of the stunt work can be debated. There are a few "No Way" moments but it was still entertaining.

Over all I give them movie 2012 10 thumbs up and one of the best I've ever seen! And guys, I SERIOUSLY recomend that you put all the 2012 hype aside and just watch the movie. I mean that's what it is, A MOVIE!!! IT IS A WORK OF FICTION!!! IT IS FOR ENTERTAINMENT!!! So guys please trust me on this one and don't diss me for my opinions. It really is a good flick! But I will warn you though, its a LONG one! My showing started at 2:35 pm and the end credits didn't come up until 5:22 pm!!!

But it really is worth it! This is deffinently on I want to get on DVD when it comes out.

Hey there,

Yeah, sorry for unloading all that crud on ya' the other day from my last journal. I was one of those point where ranting seemed like it would help. Yeah, I did let a little steam off but ranting doesn't help make the situation go away. Still a little depressed and still want to do something meaningful in my life. Also now I've been living in the Garage for the last 2 days (and three nights) and its not really as bad as you'd think. I've got a good space heater for when I go to bed so I'm not worried about cold nights. I am scared of the summer time because there is no ventalation, it will be a virtual hot box then! So let pray I can get out on my own before then.

As for the job market I did get a tip that Arby's is hiring down new my Mom's place so I'm going to check that out latter today and a few other places. Also I've been really itching to build a model railrod, it is my hobby and I can't begin to describe how much of a stress reliever it would be. After all, that's what a hobby is for anyway, right?

And what makes it interesting is that Model Railroader Magazine is hosting a sweepstakes. The Grand Prize is a $2,000 spending spree at a hobby shop of the winner's choice! The timing is interesting between the sweepstakes and wanting to build a layout so I REALLY hope I win! 2k is more than enough to get started with. And when I win my only worry is what scale I would model. I'm still on the fence on whether I should modle HO scale of On30. But I'm leaning more towards On30.

Also forgive me for not reading any of your journals recently, I hate to say it but I just haven't had the time. But I do read the titles!

Thats REALLY ULTRA lame that Railcamp is shutting down! Will its fried, toast, done... As near as he can tell its something wrong with the mother board. He aslo said I'd be better off just getting a brand new laptop. This really sucks, my mom has blamed me for all her computer problems and has forbiden me to even TOUCH her new computer. (which is having issues not caused by me) So once AGAIN my only internet access it the library which is an hour drive from home. There's still no work that I can find or even qualified for.

So all the Trainz shtuff is called off for the time being as anything and every thing has been lost. As if I haven't gone through enough crap already. I could really use a winning lotto ticket or something right now. Something just to get me started! I'm tired of my mom CONSTANTLY bitching, moaning, and complaining about I'm "Taking up her space" or how I should be out on my own.

The truth being if she hadn't F$#%ed up my life prior to moving here I WOULD be out on my own, I was doing fine. Unitl she made me feel guilty and she used me as a second income. She says I owe her money, the only thing I owe her is for paying for the moped repairs and nothing else. She expects me to magicaly go out one day and come home with a job. She's F*$&^ing delusional.

I'm sorry for ranting but I've been trying to get help wiht the aspergers stuff but people are completely incompetant of doing their jobs and I'm getting the Government 2-step with it too! I'm trying to see someone for depression but no, I have to prove that I have no income in order to see someone with out paying the full fee of 30 or 50 dollars. I feel like I'm stuck here and I'll never move any farther than this; and I don't want to believe that!

GEEZE even Holloween sucked! We only had ONE family stop by for Trick or Treating! LAME!!!

No worries, nothing horribly bad. But there are a couple of things that aren't going the way I would like, number one being my life.

But first off, I'm sorry to inform you that my Holloween story for this year "The Midnight Special" will not be finished in time for Holloween. This is because of a seveere lack of computer access in order to write it. I'll be posting Chapter 7 shortly after posting this. So I'm sorry about that but I do intend on finishing it. It will just take alot longer since I'm only able to access a computer about once a week.

In other news, I have finished the side view of my 30in Gauge Winans Style Camelback locomotive. I also plan on making different versions of it with different Stack and Headlight styles. Also I've started thingking of names for the locomotives. So far I've listed the names "Willian" and "Glenbrook". I'm open to suggestions. I've aslo worked on some front and rear veiws but have made some irreversable mistakes and may have to start from scratch, almost. First was when I was working on the Front veiw, I forgot to draw the smoke stack before inking the Roof lines. This isn't all that bad though, this makes it easier to see the front cab windows wich is easier to do when you don't have a big diamond stack in the way. lol! But when I worked on the Rear veiw I messed up on the cab hieght. Yeah, bashed my head against the wall a few times on that one. *sigh*

But last night I was able to draw the tender for the loco and MAN IS IT BIG!!! Atleast for a narrow gauge tender. Its a good 8 or so feet from the railhead. But seeing as the Winans Camel is a freight loco it would need plenty of fuel and water. I wish I could scan what I have so far, I'm sure you'd like it!

But now to ask for a little input from you guys who may download the Trainz model of it. The pistons are very wide on the frame for a 30in loco. Originaly I intended on keeping her a inside frame locomotive, but given my designs she may be more suited for an outside frame. What would you prefer? Also it will be available with either a Box Headlight or and Arch style oil lamp, similar to that on the Bachmann On30 porter. Also, would you like a "Cowcatcher" or a Switching style pilot? I'm asking because I do want to make multiple versions of this unique locomotive. I'll see if I can make a concept, non scale, drawing of my locomotive so you can better visualize it.

Well that's all for now, Catch Ya' Later!

Hey guys!

Yeah, I still don't have my laptop back and I haven heard from my friend either. So I'm still using the library's computer to anything online. It also really stinks not having a computer period! At least I would still be able to write stories and what not!

But I have been keeping myself busy, persay. I'm not sure how familiar you guys are with the GMAX modeling program but from what I've seen you can use images as a scale reference or even actual plans/blue prints for an object like a train or locomotive. Well seeing that I will eventualy be building content for trainz I started working on a design for a freelance locomotive. Are you guys familiar with the "Winans Camel", they were EARLY 0-8-0 Camelback locomotives durring the 1840's and 50's if I recall correctly. You may have seen adds for O scale brass models of them in resent issues of RMC. (Railroad Model Craftsman)

Well these locomotives hold a special place in my heart because they were my first "Favorite" locomotive. They are vey unique looking and functioning locomotives. And I'm a sucker for a "Different" Locomotives! Well I've started working on plans for a 30in gauge Freelanced "Winans" style 0-8-0 Camelback locomotive. It will be somewhat modernized, menaing it will have an air pump and tanks. My first attempt failed because I mad the ting too small. Mainly the dimentions of the cab were the issue. In a sitting position you would be ok, but getting INTO the cab woul mean hunching over and nearly crawling to get to the engineer's seat. Or you would have to bend you back t a 90 degree angle. Niether of which is good. So I set out to re-redesign the locomotive and it much better. Upon entering the cab you'll still have to duck a bit and at minimal hight the cab is 5 feet high. But I think that that's a minor inconveinience. Currently I'm still working on the front view and will later work on a side view.

I was going to work on the cab interior but I'm kinda stuck. Until I had an idea but I'll need your help to do it. If you guys have Trainz 06 and you have downloaded the Locomotive "Yonah" I would REALLY like some good, CLEAR, and Clean detail shots of its cab. I know Sampug has the loco, but if anyone else has it I'd be REALLY Much Obliged if you could get me those references. It would help me out alot. Oh! And don't forget Multiple angles! I'd like to see as much of the backhead as possible! Again, I'd REALLY apreciate it!

Well I guess that's all for the time being. So, I'll catch Ya' later!

Hey Guys, sorry I haven't been online as of late.

the reason being is that my laptop now has ome issues. Almost a week ago I got some weird Trojian Virus or something like it. Well I dissconected from the internet and ran a thourough scan. It didn't pick up anything but I then decided, hoping it would help, to do a system restore. I did and it seemed to work fine afterwards! Well the next day I go to start it up and Windows Failed to boot. It gave me other otions to try and every one still failed. To say I was ticke would be a VAST understatement. Well I told my friend about it and I also gave him my laptop for him to look at. I have yet to hear from him and will probably call him later to see if he's looked at it yet. (last weekend was very busy for him)

Anyway, so yeah. Again my only option to go online is the library, which I'm at while I'm typing this. Also I am now the grand old age of 22. took me to see "Where the Wild Things Are" and I have to say... the movie was depressing. I did have alot of funny parts but there was more sad stuff than happy stuff. It was depressing... (sigh) The Soundtrack I though was good though.

But yeah, we still had a good time. We all wore our tails that night wich was fitting for the movie. On saturday my Mom took me out to see "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs", which was AMAZING!!! Absolutely EXCELENT Movie and worth going to see again in my opinion! And it had MR. T!!! And he had an inverted Mowhawk! But still, it was a very good movie and even my Mom was impressed! Also she got me a $50 gift card for the movie theater so I can go watch new Movies coming out soon when I want and I'll be able to go with my friend when they want to! Also we had a Sushi Dinner which was AMAZING!!! I'm such a sucker for sushi, I really am. We tried this one roll called a "Volcano Roll" which was REALLY GOOD! I don't quite remember what was in it though. I think it was Salmon with something, then quickly fried with a Mayo/crab sauce on the top. It was tasty! (Nom, Nom, Nom...)

We also got an order of Seaweed salad, which is ALWAYS good! (Don't knock it until you try it! ) We also got my favorite, the "Philidelphia Roll" which was ALL MINE!!! AAAAAAND, I got to try some "Sparkleing Sake" (I hope I spelled that right. ) It was alot like champagne but the flavor was a little different. It was really good and I'd like to know where I can get it.

It was a pretty good birthday weekend, it was deffinently more than I expected this year. Even though a few things were kinda ok, overall it was good. I also picked up, thanks to my Mom, the October issue of RMC. (Railroad Model Craftsman) I'm not sure if you've seen it Railwolf but its Right Up Your Alley!

The main article is about a Civil War era model Railroad of the Western & Atlantic RR! there is also a special inset on Modleing the 19th century and also has a bunch of references on companies who produce products suitable and accurate for 19th century modeling! I picked up the last issue at they had in stock at Barnes & Noble. Unfortunealy the cover is all bent, folded, and messed up. But there isn't another book store that carries RMC so I go...

Our favorite Railroading Wolf Aleu is off on another adventure, only this time her very SOUL could be at stake! Its a Scary themed work for Holloween this year and I wanted an early start. Lots of Zombie and Vampire action in this one so if your a bit squeemish I don't recomend reading it.
Hey Guys, How's it going!

Anywho, sadly the only way for my to access the internets with my laptop is still from a super week, random, and intermitant signal. But at least there is one right? Now to get to the point. Thankfully the laptop supports Trainz 06, though there are a few gliches here and there. I've started a 30in narrow gauge mining railroad that I have dubbed "Carbon Canyon". Its freelanced and its main industry is mining, so there are plenty of mines and mills along the ROW. The center of the whole operation is Carbon Canyon, a deep river canyon where most of the mines and mills are located. The town of Carbon City is service by both the railroad and by a Steam Ship/River Boat line the folows the river. I've only just started on the route and I have no idea how it will evolve. But rest assured, sharp curves, steep grades, and scenic vista are garunteed! What else would you expect from me?!

Also Ive taken the steps to start maing my own Trainz Content! Well I haven't done anything yet aside from downloading the Gmax program. I'm still in the middle of researching Trainz tutorials and what not so I actally know what I'm doing. First up on my list are a few locomotives, all of which are from the WP&YR (White Pass & Yukon Route) in Alaska. I plan on making both 3ft gauge and 30in gauge versions. Interestingly enough WP&YR #1 "Duchess" was originaly built for 30in gauge and later rebult to 3ft gauge! I will model her "As Built" based on photos from a website. Here's a pick of her: ==> [link] <==

But the engine that's Number one on my list is WP&YR #6. (later renumbered as 56) The engine is an Outside Framed 2-8-0 with Vauclain Compound Pistons. She has a beautiful "Capped" Smokestack and a Box Headlamp. Here's a pc: ==> [link] <== And here's a side veiw of her sister loco #7 (later renumbered 57) ==> [link] <== I really think that these are VERY atractive locomotives and are worthy of becoming models for Trainz! Bt I won't stop with these engines, I also want to model WP&YR #69 which has resently been fully restored and is now in peration in Skagway Alaska. Here's a builders photo of her, she to is a 2-8-0 Consolidation. ==> [link] <== I plann on modeling the loco with the original tender instead f the oil burning one she uses now. But I also will model the head light how its applied today, its a large Box Headlamp mounted directly atop the smokebox. Personaly I like this setup better and I think its more becoming for the loco. This is how she appears today: ==> [link] <==

Now don't epect these engines anytime soon, I still have ZERO experiance with GMAX. But I'm working on changing that! As for what the paint schemes will be exactly I'm not sure. I want to make a few custom schemes for my own road names but I do plan on making "Historical" WP&YR schemes for those who like the White Pass & Yukon Route. Well that's about it for now, I'm still working on LOCOCAMOTION so keep an eye out for new chapters! Alright Guys, Catch 'Ya Later!

Don't Worry Guys! It doesn't have anything to do with my Moped!

But being online here isn't going to be easy for another good while! Well We got my Mom's CPU back but, forgive me for seeming cold or rude or anything of the sort, She's decided to get rid of her internet! Instead of updating her anti virus and spyware programs she's just going to chuck the internet all together! I personaly sya that she's a complete idiot for doing that.

She only does what she knows how to on a computer. But when she reaches that limit, instead of going to professionals, asside form fixing a problem, she doesn't and screws me over in the process. No these days almost EVERY job application is done online. I can't afford to drive an hour every day to go use the library's computers to look for work! She's even asked me what to do about computer problems! I don't see why I even give her my imput because she ignores it anyway!

So yeah, I'll only be online here on DA about once or twice a week.

And also I've gotten yet ANOTHER TICKET while riding my Moped!!! This time though it wasn't for speeding. I was comming home after hanging out with a friend and I end up finding a police check point! (Lucky Me) Now when I bought the Moped I WWAS TOLD that ALL I NEEDED WAS A LEARNERS PERMIT to drive my model of Moped. THAT'S WHAT I WAS TOLD!!! Well the cop asked me for my Moped licence and I gave hime my Lerners Permit. He comes back and gives me a $155 ticket for not having a moped licence. Personaly I think the place I bought the Moped from should pay for it because they gave me the wrong info! I know its not an excuse to be ignorant of the law, but what if you were TOLD the wrong information? If they still fine you then that isn't fair AT ALL!!!

If that can't be done, I hate to say it, but I'll have to go to jail. I don't have the money! That's all these friggin SC cops do, to find retarded ways to make a buck off of people who can't afford it. Its all Scare Tacticks! And it Pisses me off! My court date isn't untill next month so I have a bit of time.

Now for some more light hearted news. Yesterday I was able to got to Freestyle Music Park! It used to be Hard Rock Park but it tanked. ticket prices were WAY too hight for a park of its sized and it only has one Really good ride! Well it was reborn as "Freestyle Music Park" and it isn't half bad, and its MUCH more family oriented! I had a blast but at the end of the day I got sun burned.
Yes, today I wen to the 2:50pm showing of the movie "9". And I have to say.... it was AMAZING!!!! Although it wasn't quite as epic as I thought it would be, DEFFINENTLY WORTH SEEING!!! Really the only other thing I would complain about is that the music used in the Camercials on TV were not in the Movies soundtrack.

Its kinda like how in "Ironman" the song "I am Ironman" wasn't in the film, although it was used in the ending credits. For 9 though, the camercial music wasn't there at all. BUT! Non the less, 9 is an absolutely awsome movie! For something appealing to an older audiance it was really good. Heck, one of the characters (8 to be specific) gets high off of a Magnite! :laughinh: Now I don't support or condone the use of narcotics in any way shape or form. I just thought it was amusing!

So in closing, GO SEE 9!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But be warned, it is a little creepy looking, the whole "War Zone" look to every thing.

Hey Guys, Wud Up?

Anywho... I have had yet ANOTHER story idea and I think it has potential! It is, of course, another Western in the same universe as Gunpowder Falls. The isparation for it though came from something unexpected.

Now, I'm not sure how many of you are into video game, especialy newer ones, but the insparational spark came from one I was playing the other day. As you know I am a HUGE Western fan, whether it be a movie or just the Genre in general. And as such I do have a collection of Western Movies, including all three of the Clint Eastwood "Spegetti Westerns", but I also have Western themed Video Games! Yes, they do exist. One of the better known ones is "Red Dead Revolver", available on both the PS 2 and Xbox systems. (HIGHLY RECOMEND THE GAME!!!)

The other one I have for some reason didn't hit it off so well but I personaly find that ALOT more planning went into it. The game is simply called "GUN" and it is one of, if not, the BEST GAME I have ever played! But that's besides the point.

Anyways... One I was playing GUN and its amazing how the enemies in the game interact with you. And I don't men by being smart and taking cover but at how they talk to your character. Well in one bad guy's dialog he siad something something and ended the sentance with the term "Law Dog". I stopped a moment and then I paused the game. I know its such a cliche' but it hit me like a bolt of lightning! A new Furry Western, I will call it "Law Dog".

I had the concept, then I spent an undetermined amout of time coming up with a rough concept for the actual story. Like Gunpowder Falls it will have furries and anthros. The name of the town wich the story will center is Flagstone, as to its geographical location has still yet to be determined though mostlikely it will be somewhere in Colorado.

The main character is Wyatt Rielly, he's a Canine but I'm still working out what breed he'll be. But he starts off as an "Easterner" even though he was born in the West. His Father, name yet to be determined, was the Sheriff of Flagstone. The word WAS is key, turns out he was shot in cold blood by an outlaw. The town itself struggles to hold on to peace but is constantly bombarted with Lawlessness. And as such No one is willing to step up to take the former Sheriff's place. That's where Wyatt comes in. He get a letter explaining the situation and decides to return to his home town. Not only to be there for his Father's funeral but also to take his father's place. where the story goes from there has yet to be determined.

I think its a good idea with potentcial! Anyway I thought I'd shar it with you. I've decided to work on a few concept scketches shortly and will post hopefully in the near future.

Alright, that's all for now, Catch Ya' Later!!!

PS: I got my Moped back and it works. *YAYS*

Hey Guys!

As some of you may or may not know Steamby51's Live steam vessel "Vulcan" was featured in a Youtube video. Well so is my new Roundhouse 2-8-0!

I've taken a few VERY low quality vids of my own of it, but Judge Derick (one of the guys at the GSW Model Railroad Club) took a video with two of his Steamers. A BLI (Broadway Limited Imports) Heavy 2-8-2 and an Athern 4-6-2 Pacific, both lettered in Atlantic Coast Line. They were double heading a freight comming out of a tunnel on our Double Track Main line heading to Columbia. (On our layout that is.)

Anyway, by SHEER CHANCE, my 2-8-0 #772 got into the shot! And what an INCREDIBLE VID WAS IT!!! It even has shot of the 1860's passenger cars I had it pulling, including one with WORKING MARKER LAMPS!!! SO ANY WAY CHECK IT OUT!!!

[link]

Hey guys, me again!

After all that's happened I'm still depressed. But I'm not angry like I was before. Though who ever did what they did to my rid had still better bray for salvation if I find him.

Anyway I've been dabbeling into a bit of Model Railroading shtuff on the internet. And for some reason my interest in On30 scale has been rekindled! I'd still like to have an HO layout but I still think I like On30 more! There is just SO many different products out there that suit my stile and era of Railroading perfectly! I already have a 2-6-0 Mogul and an 0-4-0 Porter. But I have my eyes on the Bachmann Outside Frame 2-8-0, Outside frame 2-4-4 Forney, 0-4-2 Porter, Shay, and Climax locomotives. Als Accucraft is comming out with On3 and On30 scale models of their C-16s!

Also MMI (Mountain Model Imports, a devision of Precision Scale) is Releasing On30 Baldwin 4-4-0's in many different styles and veriations! And then there's the countless veriaty of rolling stock! I think that On30 is the way to go! In fact I;ve decided that later I'm going to make a track plan for an On30 Layout. It'll be based off of one I've done before, you know it, the "Wolf Creek & Flagstone". It wont be nessisarily to "scale" but I'll make sure that the demantions of the layout are. The era I plan on using is arounf the turn of the Century, perhaps a little later. The Bachmann inside frame 4-4-0 would handle most mixed work. Plenty of Porters would scurry about in the minning areas as would a Shay and a Climax. The main Muscle would be a Bachmann 2-8-0 and maybe a BLI C-16. It would be set, of course, in the Colorado Rockies!

So this has been my little moral booster, at least for now. Anyway, take care and I'll catch ya' later!

Well as I'm sure your aware, if you read my last journal, I had no choice but to chain it up behind the model railroad club that's not in the best neighborhood. Its been there since Monday when me and my Mom went to go pick it up.

Upon ariving at the hobby shop we both regredably found that my ride had been completely Vandalized!!! The seat was missing as was my tool kit, a can of spray lubrication for my brake handels, spare change, the back spioler/lift bar had been completely removed, and all the side pannels were either cracked, broken, or loose. My Moped was practicaly raped by who ever did it. Most likely some Crack Head, Lord knows the whole area was full of them.

It was only after the fact that I was told that there is a "Non Emergency" number I could have called and they would have sent someone to keep an eye on the thing while I was gone. Why is it alway AFTER the fact that I'm told something that would have saved me alot of greif.

Well I was able to find a Moped Shop close by who picked it up and took it too his shop, hopefully. But after what my Mom and I told him repaires are going to cost some where around $300. Who ever did this to my ride had better PRAY I DO NOT FIND HIM!!! I know this came a day late but I didn't exactly want to talk about it then.

Wish my luck, I sure need it now more than ever.

(the model railroad club) And one of the guys there, Judge Derick, was taking some good video which he'll post later on you tube.

Anyway we both were about to leave for the day, as we were the last guys there, and I was about to hop on my ride and head home when Judge asked "What's on your back tire"? So I looked and guess what, I've got a bulge 2 or so inches HIGH by about 4 or so inches long sticking off of it!!! My moped is now completely unridable!!! AND I have been forced to chain it up at behind the hobby shop, which is NOT in one of the best areas of town. I have now way to transport the thing since the tags on my Mom's Jeep are now expired! Last week I lost my job and that really sucked. It hit me hard, like a 560 ton locomotive at full steam! I fell into the usual depression and didn't feel like moving on and shtuff like that. My last check was small, far smaller than I had anticipated. But not a whole lot I can do about it.

Well anyway, I'm out of all that now. Since Monday I've been job Hunting/Searching and sadly yesterday I only was able to fill out and submit one application. Everywhere else is either not hiring nor accepting applications. *sigh* But at one of the places I went to apply to the lady there suggested that I check out Craigslist.com. So Today that's what I've been doing, surfing that sight for any and all job opertunities. I also Emailed one of the adds and hopefully I'll get a responce soon.

Also I've been going to the Model Railroad Club on a regular bassis. We have regular meetings/Operating sessions on Mondays, 4 to 8, and on Saturdays, 1 to 4. I was also FINALY able to Run my J.W. Bowker!!! :woot: Now she ran just fine on the bit of Bachmann EZ Track I have but when I ran her on the club layout.... Her performance was severly lacking at best. *sigh* Almost every time she came to a switch she stoped. Also her lead wheel seemed to constantly derail. Also it seems that the Bowker will NOT run unless the lead wheels are on the track. But I think the problems have two main causes. One, the flanges on the model are GREATLY oversized. And Two, poor electrical pickup. I'm sure that there's some way to remidy these issues but it would tak alot of time and effort. So for now she's a project loco.

I did however take some photos and a short video with my camera! (before the battery died, again) Eventualy I'll post them. Though be warned, the Bowker is still parcialy dissasembled due to being repainted.

Another thing is that I've started drawing again! *YAYS* As a future project I thought about aquiring a few more of the Roundhouse Old Time 2-8-0's. At least one of which I want to give it a Wagon Top Boiler! A while back I read an online article of how one person took one of the new Roundhouse 4-4-0's and afixed and IHC (International Hobby Corp.) Old Time 4-4-0 body shell to the Roundhouse Frame! And it was quite an atractive look it had! Well I shortly there after got the crazy notion of doing the same thing with the 2-8-0! So last night and the night previous I have been working on a concept sketch! Though I'm not sure as to what kind of stack to use. I don't think that a Baloon stack would be all that becoming. Maby a Radly hunter or a Lima Diamond Stack. Anyway there will be a few veriasiona so I can hone in on what would look best.

Well, I gess that's all for now. I can still use some spiritual support! Pray for me to ahve a job by the end of the week! Ok? Well guys, I'll Catch Ya' Later!

I have some good news for ya'!!!

This morning I woke up a bit late, 12:38 pm, I wanted to get up at the latest at 11 but I forgot to set the alarm for AM.

BUT! I talked with my Mom this morning about my debt to the Model RR Club. As usual she didn't want to do any "work" to help me an they always have meetings on Saturdays 1pm to 4pm. So after eating some food and taking out the trash I headed up to the Club to see if I can get my Mom the information to pay off what I owe. (about 4 months of dues)

Well when I got there I was reluctant to walk up to the Train room fearing rejection and what not. BUT... when I walked up and talked with Bill, the finance guy, he explained to me that instead of owning the club money that I was listed under a "Leave of abssence" and thus WAS NOT CHARGED for being away!!! THESE GUYS ARE AWSOME!!!

You see, when I didn't have my dues for a particular month I stopped going. After all I didn't want to dissrespect the guys there, using their facilities when I didn't have the right to. That actually helped me in the long run! As there are a few who have yet to pay there dues and yet still attend meetings.

Bill told me all I owe is $6 for a few buildings I bought from the club and then $10 when I decide to attend regularly again!
Hey Guys! And I've got another thing to say!

Last week I sent the final installment for a cache of old Model Trains stuff. 15 Old West style buildings, enought to make a WHOLE TOWN, and 7 Old Time peices of Rolling Stock! 2 coaches, a combine, a flat car, a box car, a Bobber caboose, and a Gondola.

I just talke with the person who owns them and he mailed the lot this morinig! YAYS!!! I can't wait for it all to come, even though I can't reall build a layout right now. At least I'be be prepared!!!

Also I've desided to take abart my modle of the J.W. Bowker in order to prep the model to be painted. I have removed 95 to 98% of the lettering using alcohol. I do have thinner but not very much. While dissasembling the model I found that the stack is helt to the model by a screw. This also holds the headlight in place. Just for fun I put the stack back on without the headlight and its looks surprisingly good! It kinda looks like an engine from the 1850's or 40's, but only just.

I also hand drilled a small hole on the bottom of the headlight so I can eventually in stall a working LED. I'll be soon getting ALOT of brass detail parts so I can detail the backhead, pilot, and tender. I want to install sound in it too bu I'm not sure where I would put a speaker. I could put it in the cab but it would be noticable. I'll figure it out eventually.

I also tried to dissassembel my Roundhouse 2-8-0 and MAN IS THAT THIN A MAJOR PAIN IN THE #!@%^*$ @$$ TO DO!!! The boiler and running boards are solid metal! That's good for tractive effort! But the plastic details are SO FREAKING HARD to remove!!!

I only got ONE handrail santion out and nearly broke the hand railing while trying! SO the 2-8-0 is a bit of a project.

Anyway, I guess that's it for now.
Hey guys! Yeah, its been a while since I've really done anything here on DA. Aside from socializing, faving pics Posts and leaving comments.

Today I posted the next two instaments of LOCOCAMOTION so I'm sure your all happy about that! As for my art, my Mom's scanner is WAY on the fritz right now. It absolutely refuses to do anything and is completely unresponsive. So it may be a good while before any of my art ends up here. Sorry about that.

Well last week I got my paycheck from work. I'm a little on edge there as my job was really on the line because of something I said while on the clock to a manager. I didn't mean it in the way it was taken.

But with the check I paid back part of what I owe my Mom. For those of you who don't know she got me a model on my behaf and I'm paying her back for it. Also I mailed the last instalment for a cashe of Old Time/Old West HO scale Model buildings and rolling stock. Roughly 15 or so buldings and 7 peices of rolling stock! 2 coaches, a flat car, a box car, a combine, a gondola, and a cboose! All of it for $75! Not a bad deal if you ask me.

I also bought a new Gundam model online. Its one I've had my eye on for some time. The RX-78 NT-1, also known as the Gundam "Alex".

I also got to see Transformers 2! And it was AMAZING!!!!!
It was FAR more fast paced than the first! And Optimus DIES!!!!!

Watch the movie cause I'm not saying much else about it! I've aslo heard many a rumor that a Live Action Gundam Movie is due in theaters within the next few months! And its suposedly on par with the Transformers movies! At least so I've heard. But I havent been able to find anything on AT ALL about it! Not a trailer nore the movies web sight! I MUST KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So if you guys know ANYTHING about it pleas let me know RIGHT AWAY!!!
I Like Transformers, but I like Gundam EVEN MORE!!!

On a more somber note, well kinda, I think I myself am going into a depression. I'm not drawing as much. I usualy just watch TV or something like that. I feel VERY lonely too.

There's just this overwelming feeling of sadness enveloping me and I can't explain it. So keep me in your prayers guys I could really use it.

Though me and a friend at church talked for a bit. We're going to start a Youtube series with a character named "Bongo Dog". knows what I'm talking about!

Also my friend is going to help me in working on a Gundam Comic. I've had the idea for some time now. (since I was in High School) but I've made some considerable changes to the original concept. Its far better no in my opinion.

And I'm also going to slowly work on a "Tribute Comic", its a tribute to my Favorite Movie, "Union Pacific"! So for those of you who do know the movie, imagine it in Manga style!

Well that's all for now I think. You guys take care and I'll catch ya' later! <img src="http://e....

I can't contain my excitement!" />

I have yet again won on e-bays and have recived 2 out of the three things I have won.

the first being a MDC Roundhouse Shay "Backdate" kit from Wiesman Model Services. What it does is give the somewhat modern look of a stock MDC Shay the look of a Shay Pre-1915! Its a strait boiler with fluted domes. AND THE SAND DOMe HAS AN OPTIONAL REMOVABLE TOP!!!

To aid this option I plat to drill out the inside of the dome and then atatch a scale chain to the bottom. The fix the oposite end of the chain to the Sand Dome top as to not loose it. this is actualy a method used on some logging RR's!

The second item I recived was an old IHC (International Hobby Corp.) Old Time Rail & Tie car kit! I've partialy assembled it. Right now its mor like a flat car. Its also colored in this horrible Lemmon Yellow and Lime Green lettering! *yuck* I'm debating on how to repaint it. Oxide Brown with white lettering or MOW silver/grey with black letting. I'm open to suggestions.

The third, anf the most anticipated, is a... (Drum Roll Please) AN ATHERN/ROUNDHOUSE HO 2-8-0 painted for the AT&SF!!! <img src="http://e.deviantart.net/emoticons/e/excited.gif" width="23" height="19" alt=":excited:" title="OMG! I'm practicaly camping at the door step! lol!
the olny thing I don't like about it is that the tender is set up to be an oil burner. For these engines I like coal burners. I'm sure I can remedy that!

I almost won a Bachmann 1:20.3 Spectrum 4-4-0 for $165! But I was LITERALY out bid at the LAST 5 SECONDS!!! To say I was mad is an understatment! C'MON!!! THAT'S A STEAL!!! Oh Well, I tried.

Well I guess that's all for now.
Hey Guys! And for those of you who don't know, "Confuzzled" is a term for being confused.

Any way, I am at yet another quandry. I, for some reason, have been bitten by the HO scale bug. I still want to work with On30 scale but given the fact that where ever I may be living, it deffently will be somewhat small. So, in this case, HO Scale is the logical choice for an HO layout. But that isn't the problem.

My beef is that I want to have an HO/HOn3 layout! Dominantly HO satndard gauge to keep things "simple". The source of my Confuzzle-ment is that I wan the majority of the Layout standard gauge and part Narrow. But I don't want just a few tracks at in intercahnge and maybe a staging yard! I wan there to be a good bit on NG main line to!

Hence my Confuzzle-Ment. Now for you guys this could either be a "I'm open to suggestions" thing, or you could actually try to design a TrackPlan for me! If you choose the latter there may be a Artistic award for it!

For those of you who choose the latter above, I want the layout to be a MAXIMUM of 15x15 feet. That about pushes the limit for a layaout being in an apartment. Though somewhat smaller dimentions would be prefered. Also I think that the NG line should come and intermingle with the SG main, though not directly. Such as the NG line having a Bridge that passes above the SG line. Or if each line were on oposite banks of a river, ect...

As stated, I'm VERY OPEN to sugestions. Also keep in mind that I model the 1880's through 1900's and Serious Mountain Railroading! I don't mind having ALOT of Bridges and Tunnels!

Well, I guess that's all for now.
Yeah, I read Railwolf's version of this and I thought Why Not?

1. What does your DeviantArt name mean and why did you join this site?
Gunslinger87 is fairly simple. “Gunslinger” is for the Fact that I LOVE the old West and the 19th Century in general. Also Gunslingers back in the day could REALLY show today’s shooters what for!

“87” stands for my birth year 1887….ER… I meant 1987!!!

1.5 Why I joined
Well, I joined because I’m hoping to get my art, talent, and skill some exposure!

2. What fandom were you obsessed with when you joined and what are you into now?
Well I’m overly obsessed with trains, but if I’m “Obsessed” with a Fandom it’d be the Furry/Anthro Fandom in general!

3. How many watchers do you have now?
I have NO IDEA!!! I just know that there’s A LOT!

4.Name three of your favorite artists on DA
Hmmm, that’s a tough one. I’d say Railwolf, Atticus, and LadyTigerLily!
(I know that this would be more than 3 but I also have to say Lady-Puma)

5. Do you comment, fav, or both?
I leave comments if I like the work and I ALWAYS prefer to leave comments when I fav pieces!

6. Do you participate in club's contests here in DA?
Not sure if I fully understand the question but….

I do participate in contests, in general, if I’m interested.

7. What's your most popular deviation?
Ah… Not really sure. But I’d have to say it’s a toss-up between “Oiling Up” and my “New Gunpowder Falls Title Page”.

8. What is your favorite non-anime TV shows?
Mythbusters is a definite! I do tend to watch a lot of History Channel shtuff, can’t say any shows specifically. Though I LOVED Trains Unlimited! (Never should have canceled that!)

9. What are the things you wish you could draw better?
I’d like to get better at hands and feet. I also wish I could hand color shading and light effects and be able to color my art more dynamically.

10. Summer or winter?
That’s a hard one. I like Winter and all the snow it brings. Now I don’t mind Summer as long as it’s a dry head and NOT humid.

11. Rain or sun?
Depends on my mood. But over all I like Sun!

12. What is your favorite type of music?
I like ALL SORTS of Music! Everything from Celtic to Bluegrass! But more than anything I LOVE HARD ROCK!!!

13. PC or Mac?
PC

14. Anime or Manga?
It depend on the Anime, for example: I LOVE almost ANY Mobile Suit Gundam Series. But I do tend to lean more towards Manga.

15. Coke or Pepsi?
Ok… I was HIT by a Coke company car. I CHOOSE PEPSI!!! (TAKE THAT COKE-A-COLA!!!)

16. Read or TV?
I read A LOT of Model Train magazines and its mostly Garden Railways. I do read a lot of history books and I sometimes watch TV.

17.How many hours a day do you spend on DA?
I usually try to log on once a day and spend a few hours on here.

18.Name a hidden talent
Well...

Hey guys!

Well now that I have my model of the J.W. Bowker I decided, out of curiosity, to see if I could find anything on one of the Real Locomotive's Best known roles. Her Role as the Union Pacific RR's locomotive "McPherson" from the 1939 movie "Union Pacific".

Well I searched it on YouTube and I ACTUALLY FOUND SOMETHING!!!

Now from past conversations with some of you, you know who you are , You said you'd love to see the old movie. Well I found a little excerpt from it that's I think just under 10 minutes. AND it Shows the BOWKER UNDER STEAM and PULLING A TRAIN!!!

This is only a VERY SMALL part of the movie and if you EVER get a chance to watch it the whole way through, TAKE IT!!! You Wont Regret it! Think of this clip as something like a trailer.

OH! And One more thing! You Might see 2 familiar members of A.J.'s Engine crew!

Alright Guys And Gals! Enjoy!
==> [link] <==

Though smaller than I thought it would be.

But AWSOME none the less! Sadly I have no means of testing it as all of my Model Railroading stuff is at a friend's house.

I still want to lubricate it before running, but MAN is this Engine Georgous!!!

Though also upon visual inspection I found out that The Code 55 track I have is too shallow but only just. I've already decided to use Code 55 for display pourposes only as the Flanges of the wheels would hit the scale molded spike heads if used on a working layout. for that I'll use code 70.

But now I'm on the fence of repainting and modifying the model. Even though it's stock fire engine red sheme is horrid! Its still a bit of a collectors item. Its safe to say though that I intend to install DCC. I'd like to instal a Seuthe Smoke Genorator but I hope I can find one small enough to fit in the Smoke Stak.

Well thats' all for now! Its not over anything major thankfully.

Well I've been paciently waiting for the arival of my much anticipated "J.W. Bowker" 2-4-0.

I just talked with the guy and he didn't recive the payment until last Friday. He doesn't ship on Weekends or Holidays such as Memorial Day and thus my modle was shipped yesterday. He couldn't give me an estimated time of arival so I'm left waiting.

I can only guess that it would be the usual 4 some odd business days to deliver. SO, if I'm correct, it should get here sometime next Monday.

In other news though, I've come across a REALLY GOOD DEAL! Some of you know that I have an FA account. (Furrafinity.net) And I post alot of my art there to. Well Someone took a fancy to my Rogers 1890 and we started talking. Well then he sent me an E-Note asking if I could use any more Train shtuff. (I think we all know the answer to that! )

Well his dad used to model railroad and has evidentaly stopped and has alot of stuff left over. Well he has a LOT of Old West Buildings and 7 old time pieces of Rolling stock! 2 Coaches and a combine, a flat, a gondola, a Box car, and a bobber caboose!

I plan on paying him in instalments as I want to save money and also pay for NEEDED things first.

But I think its a deal worth investing!

Well that's about it for now.
YES, I WON ON EBAYZ and VERY Happy about it!!!! *wags tail vigorously*

For those of you who DON'T know, I'm a avid Model Train collector and Model Railroader. I prefer to model in On30 scale ("O" scale but runs on "HO" scale track) because I'm VERY fond of Narrow Gauge trains. BUT I do like HO scale! My plans are to have a personal On30 scale layout but also to have an exstensive HO scale collection since Most Model Trian/Railroad Clubs run HO scale trains.

ANYWAY, Onto what I won!!! *WARNING: there will be LOT 'O' TRAIN TALK* I won an HO scale model of the 2-4-0 steam locomotive "J.W. Bowker", of the former Virginia & Truckee RR in Nevada. The REAL Bowker was built by the Famous Baldwin Locomotive works WAY BACK in 1875 and has played/stared in MANY movies and mini series. I first learned of it from my FAVORITE movie, from 1939, "Union Pacific". In that film the Bowker played the role of Union Pacific RR's "Mc Pherson" and was the first train to appear in the movie. She also played as the Central Pacific RR's "Jupiter" in the movie "Wild Wild West" staring Will Smith. (Note: NOT THE ENGINE "WANDERER") And the Bowker appeared in the TNT Mini Series "Into The West" also.

I can not describe how UBER EXCITED I am to win this model, especialy from the collector's perspective! The last time this particular model was produced I think was the Late 70's so its an old model! BUT it comes in its original Box with its original paper work STILL SEALED in it's plastic wrap and ALL of it is in nearly Mint Condition!!! And All for $24.50!!! Including shipping!
Yeah, alot of you guys probably don't car too much about this but I thought it worth to post about! And if you do please leave comments!

Alright guys! So now, once again, I have no mode of personal transportation. So I was stuck on the side of the road completely immobile. Thankfully the Moped Guy was nice enought to come by and pick me and my ride up and take it back to his shop.

He explained to me that the belt is of low quality DESPITE his complaints to the importers that supply him. These belts will last a minimum of 3,000 miles. Mine broke at 2,912. Close but no cigar, the belt broke prematurely. Unfortunately the belt can not be written under warrentee so I have to be charged for a new belt and the labor to instal it which comes to $65.

My Mom said that on her next dissability check she'll help me with that. I can't contain my excitement!" />

As I'm sure all of you know I LOVE Westerns! Absolutely LOVE them! They are officialy my FAVORITE Genre! Although my primary interests are Art and Trains I do play Video Games too. And believe it or not, but I have "Western" themed video games!

I have two "Normal Westerns" and two "Other Westerns" ("Samuri Western" and "Darkwatch") The Normal Westerns are "Gun" (Ps2, PsP, & XBox 360) and "Red Dead Revolver" (Ps2 and Xbox360) Both of these games share my Favorite spot. Both games have different tones but I can't decide which one I like more.

Early last year, I think, I accidentaly discovered that a Sequel to "RDR"(Rde Dead Revolver) Was in the works! Saying I was exstatic is a HUGE understatment!!!
Though at the time I thought that the new game would be called "RDR 2". (How Original ) So I was scowering the internet to find out more on the game but to no avail. All I could find were "Rumor" posts on forums and a "Trailer" of the ne game. And still all I had to go on was that, RDR 2 and a trailer.

Well today while on DA I was in a bit of a Western Mood and I was searching art. I found an Icon that used the Character "Red" from the game RDR. But he lookd FAR BETTER than the cover art! Who ever made it couldn't have pulled it from the game. So I got curious and googled RDR 2 again. But this time was a bit different. I found the "trailer" again and I clicked on it which in turn took me to Youtube. And you know how on the right side of the page, when watching a video, it lists other Related videos? Well there was one titled "Red Dead Redemption"! Then I got the idea og googling that and I did.

FINALY!!! After Countless Months of scowering and serching I hit PAYDIRT!!! The first thing listed was the Official Site!!!
The game isn't due to be released until sometime this fall BUT they did have an OFFICIAL TRAILOR which FREAKING ROCKS!!! It blows the other one Right Out of the Water!!!

Anyway here's a link, but before you go there it'll probably ask to verify that your 18. All you have to do is put in a date, that's it short and simple.

OH I almost forgot!!! You know how alot of Games REALLY skimp and suck at modeling trains? Well there's one in the Trailer and there's no way for me to explain what such an AMAZINGLY AWSOME JOB they did!!! You'll just have to see it! D:

Anyway if your a gamer or, like me, a Big Western Fan CHECK THIS OUT!!!
[link]

Hey guys! Here's a quickie!

I mentioned in a previous journal of a Locomotive concept I had using Cab Forward type locomotives. (Steam Not Diesel) Well My first attempt failed, though I was able to use it as a refference to refine and improve my design.

Originaly I was going to make a small/prototype version inspired by the North Pacific Coast RR's #21, a 4-4-0. I wanted to make it bigger and more powerfull looking but it just didn't seem to work. But I unintentialy made the next version of it! This one, which I'll call "Goliath", is far larger than the prototype I have yet to successfully draw.

It's name is fitting. The locomotive is of a 4-10-0 type, but for the sake of family resemblances I might make it a 6-10-0! (Isn't making up new arrangments fun? )

But now I've decided to design a third version, an articulated locomotive! This one almost souly bassed on the Famous Southern Pacific "Cab forwards"!

Any way, expect alot of Armour and Sharp pointy objects on these behemoths!

That's all for now I guess, Catch Ya' Later!

At least so far, I still have 5 and a half hours left.

Anyway, I got up for Church and went to Church. I hung out with a few of my friends before Service. Though it wasn't quite the same. My friend was out of town to see his Girlfriend if I remember correctly. Service was good and I talked to our paster after wards. Now that I'm some what more stable, at least when it comes to having a roof over my head, I want to get back on track (no pun intened ) with the Model Railroad Club at our church.

Well after wards I headed to Craker Barrel for lunch. I had a Backon Cheese Burger with Lettuce, Onions, and "Bread n Butter" pickles. A side of their AMAZING Hashbrown Casserole and slaw. Then I wen to the Costal Grand Mall to get my Mom a Mother's Day card and a Big Bar of Dark Chocolate.

Then I went and saw STAR TRECK!!! EPIC MOVIE!!!! IT JUST OOZES AWSOMENESS!!! I WAS BLOWN AWAY! I mean I'm not that much of a Treckie but MAN IT WAS AWSOME!!!

Eat Your Heart Out

So after that I headed to a friends house to pick up my PS2, wich wasn't there. That bummed me out. It must be somewhere in one of the boxes here.

And so I came home and stopped for gass on my way. Then logged on hear and that's the extent of my day som far.

Alright guys! I'll Catch Ya' Latter!

I didn't go well AT ALL!

I argued the ticket but was till found Guilty. (Should have asked for a jury trial)
So now I have to pay 2 extra dollars and some odd sence bringing the coast uip to roughly $83. So they've given me 2 weeks to pay of I do jail time wich would be around 5 days. I HATE the cops here in Myrtle Beach. I'm not saying they're ALL bad, but the majority are a bunch of Shmucks if you ask me!

ANYWAY!!! On To Better Shtuff!

Today I was called in to again be the Chick-Fil-A Cow! YAY!

I went to Myrtle Beach High School to honor one of the County's best Teachers! It was me, our Marketing Director, and our store operator who presented the award! I was the "Big" Cow and Amy (Our Marketing Director) dressed up as one of the "Kid" Cows! IT WAS SO FUN I CAN'T BEGIN TO DESCRIBE THE AWSOMENESS!!!

Then later we wandered the Board Walk/Strip and I waved to people who walked or drove by, gave kids hugs and High Fives! Then we whent to have an "Old Time" photo done in Aged Color". Yeah, the only thing "Old Time" about it was the background! I looked SO BRIGHT and NEW in that picture! Its still a nice photo but it defeated the pourpose of an Old Time Photo.

ANY WHO, now to get onto what my journal is about.

Some of you guys know that I do have far "Darker" stories/comics I'm working on or have cooking in the back of my head. Well the "Darkwatch" stuff is the Darkest I've posted here on DA aside from my Book "Choice" which is still being written.

For those of you who aren't aware of what "Darkwatch" is just ask and I'll answer ALL you need to know!

ALSO, some of you are familiar with my Darkwatch locomotive, the 6-4-0 "Midnight Special". I plan on taking their design features and incorperating them into my own designs! A 6-6-0 and a 6-8-0 are in progress. But I recently gained some insparation from a VERY WELL KNOWN type of locomotive. CAB FORWARDS!!!

Yes, I've been inspired to design a Darkwatch-i-tized Cab Forward. The "First Version" will have elements taken from the Narrow Gauge NPC RR's (North Pacific Coast) #21. A 4-4-0 with a Cab Forward design. Then I could EASILY see how the Darkwatch would take the design and make their own Armoured Military version of the locomotive! Now my Darkwatch Cab Forward may differ in basic design, such as the wheel araingment and size. But thtat's what will make it a Darkwacth locomotive!

Now the "Second Version" will be based/inspired by the most famous engines of the Cab Forward Design, the Southern Pacific Lines' Cab Forwards! C'mon, you can't tell me that you can't see that style locomotive with HEAVY armour plate, small windows, and Spikes and Blades sticking out in tactical places! (Remember the "cow Catcher" on the 6-4-0?)

So there are my recent insparations! Hope you like and I hope I DRIVE YOU GUYS NUTZ WITH ANTICIPATION!!!

Alright Guys! Catch Ya' Later!

On the good side of things my Granfather was released from the hospital and now is home again. Though they gave my Mom no warning so she got pissed off because if "Ruined" her day.

Then because of that she used me, again, as her own personal stress ball. She claimed that I'm uncapable of doing anything she has aske me to do. ALTHOUGH I fed and watered the dog like she asked. I unloaded the dishwasher AND put in the dirty ones which she DIDN'T ask me to do. She also said that as long as I stay here that I have NO RIGHTS because its her home, Blah, Blah, Blah...

Yesterday I was actualy thinking of harming her! I'm SO FREAKING TIRED of her doing this kinda crap to ALL THE MOTHER FREAKING TIME!!!! Its Not Fair! I've gone threw Freaking hell the last year and she can't even let her own past go!

Tensions are high because of my Mom's pride. At first she was demanding I sleep in the garage! I did sleep in the living room though, I just set up my cot there. THANK GOD I didn't get any flack from her of it.

I feel like I'm trapped and at my whitt's end. I'm flat broke, my Moped is busted AGAIN!!! (Have taken it to the guys to hpefully fix it) AND I have to go to court for this stupid speeding ticket tomorrow! I'm NOT paying $81 for going 40 mph in a 45 zone!!!

Listen, I could REALLY use all the help and support I can get. I'm really begining to loose it. I've been trying to keep it together but all my Mom seems to want is to break everything down!

God, please lend me strenght...

Hey Guys!

Have you ever felt that you needed to do something? You don’t have any reason to do said thing but you just felt it nagging at you? I kinda have that feeling now.

Now generally I don’t talk about my taste in music, with the exception of my journal “Is It Ironic?”. But recently I’ve been listening to a lot of music and much of the songs had some powerful lyrics behind them. And if you don’t mind I’d like to share some of them with you.

Now usually I listen to Rock, and on the hard side. Though I’m not much for the “Screamer Bands”. (When you can’t understand what they’re saying cause all they do is scream at the top of their lungs)

Any way my FAVORITE BAND is called “Skillet”. I am OBSSESSED with their music! It’s just so EPIC sometimes! So these next songs are from them and I’ll list their titles.

Now this is the official Music Video. Its kinda weird but listen to the lyrics.

“Rebirthing”: [link]

“Comatose”: [link]

“Whispers in the Dark”: [link]

Now the video for this next song is strange. Its not the official music video and in parts you can hear the sound effects. But again try to listen to the lyrics.

“Collide”: [link]

“Under My Skin”: [link]

Now here’s one you may recognize, it’s from Linkon Park. Also uses Gundam Wing for a vid wich is AWSOME!!!

“What I’ve Done”: [link]

This next one is by Superchick and is a TRULY AMAZING song!

“Stand In The Rain”: [link]

These three songs are from a group I’ve recently discovered called “Within Temptation”. Now there considered Goth Rock but there songs have LOTS of Meaning and are SO EPIC!!! Again Listen to the lyrics.

“Our Solemn Hour”: [link]

“Hand Of Sorrow”: [link]

I hope you take the time to listen to each one. I’m not really sure why I did this but I hope you guys get something out of it.

Anyway, I’ll Catch You Guys Later!!!

He refused to listen to my so I could ask for one more night that way I could arrange transportation for some of my belongings. (Since I have more stuff than what will fit on a Moped.)

This guy is a real peice "o" :crap:
The other day he turned away a 18 or 19 year old mother with an 8 month old baby! And I'm sorry for my use of works and icons but there isn't any other way to describe this guy and being MILD about it!

Anyway I called my Mom who Miraculously has decided to help me! At least for the time being. That of course I'm thankful for!

And that's the good news. My Mom and I seem to be on better terms though she still brings up and gets furious over really stupid issues. She FLIPPED OUT on me for not rinsing off a plat befor setting it in the sink.

But I have actually been able to sleep in an acctual bed.
Which is very welcome.

Well that's the jist of the past day or so.
Hey Guys!

Yeah, its been a while since I did an actual "Journal" so he we go...

I only have a few days laft at Street Reach, The place I've been staying at. Once I'm out I've got nowhere to go. Not even my Mom's and quite fankly I don't want to be even NEAR her unless I absolutely have to. She has yet again used me as her own personal strees ball and chewed me out, as well as my SICK grandfather. This time she has accused me of looking and doing "Stuff" on her computer. From her perspective I can see why. What happened is than, as far fetched as it sounds, a bug crwaled up my leg and I was trying to get rid of the thing! Well my mom barged in and though I was doing something else and is completely convinced that that is the case. She REFUSES to listen to me so I could explain.

Anyway, I have hear that there is a place I could go for $75 bucks a weeks, or 300 a month. I'm trying to look into that.

I've gotten my Moped back and for the most part its in working order. I'm still having a bit of trouble with the starter but no where NEAR as much as before I took it to the shop.

In terms of art I've worked on a few things. I'm in the process of fine tuning the First Chapter of GF so I can submit it to Antartic Press and they'll like it I'm sure!

I also worked on some Mecha stuff to. I pulled out a Mobile suit design I had worked on a while back but never really finished it. So I worked on that a bit. I still need to work on the legs and roughly half the drawing is inked.

Also, for some random reason, I've been in an "Oz" mood lately. By that I mean "The Wizard of Oz". I came up with a concept to make a modernized version of the story. (Not like the Sci-Fi mini series "Tin-Man") The Tin Man is my FAVORITE charater out of the whole story so I sarted comming up with a design for him. And so far he's FREAKING AWSOMENESS!!! I'll build the susspence and not describe what my rendition looks like!

And I FINALY got back to my GF side project! Drawing the locomotives on my Locomotive Roster!
I finished, aside from the tender trucks, the design for a C-21. I thought of going with its Crystal River RR scheme but I wanted a more utilitarian look to it and didn't want the slope back tender. So My version follows similar design to the D&RGW versions. Though I'm "On the Fence" about giving it a Box headlamp. Also I'm not quite sure what scheme to color it in. I'll make 5 copies and experiment with it.

Anyway the engines to follow are the "Twins" GFRR #'s 5 and 6. A C-25, four C-18's, among many others!

Alright! That's all for now! Catch Ya' Later!!!

British Steam?
A.J.: I like them, they’re very smooth, sleek, and have clean lines. Well today I was finaly able to take it to the moped shop where I baught it to have what needs to be fixed, fixed (since its under warenty) and since they'll taking it apart any way I might as well have the thing tuned so it'll be at peak performance.

Also my unifor for Chick-Fil-A FINALY came in yesterday so now I can start work!!! Woo Hoo!!! :woot:

My first day is Tuesday @ 5 pm till close. Not alot of hours but its something!

Anyway I've mostly lived off of my unemployment check the last two weeks.
Ok maybe not "living" off of it but relying on it heavily. My best friend :whaletrainer2002: is out of town to visit his girlfriend and together they're hed'in up North for Easter to meet the family.

And he's about the only "Furry" guy I can hang out with that I'm still in contact with. So before he left I grabbed my Tiger tail because I want to where it to church Tomorrow. I also when to another friend's house to pick up may Top Hat. I found this AWSOME Old Time Photo place that has an AWSOME deal there. A photo is $9.95! And if you want a group Photo each person pays what they would for an individual's picture! Its REALLY cool there! Once :whaletrainer2002: gets back we'll have to go there and have photos taken!

Anyway I had one done and even got an oval overlay for it and EVERYTHING cost under $15!!!
The Tiger was VERY HAPPY!!!

Oh, and guess what, I wore my tail too while doing it!!!

If I can I'd like to scan the photo and post it here on DA. I'll let you know who that'll work.

Anyway thats about it for now so I'll Catch Ya' Later!

Yep, Last night was my First night over at Street Reach. The Homeless shelter place I've mentioned before. Or at least I think I did.

Anyway it wasn't all that bad! Though things were diferen't from what I have been told. Turns out you CAN NOT stay nights consecively unless your in a program. Fortunately I got into their "5 21" program. It gives me 5 days to find work, if I do I then have an additional 21 days to save up enough to get a place like a new appartment or something. I have a bunk already reserved for me and I can stay there for the aloted time. Though if I skip a night, thats it. Out of the program.

Anyway, Steet Reach is now in a new building and is pretty clean. The bunks are fairly comfortable though not terrific. I didn't sleep too well last night. One guy was snoring VERY loudly and many others talked the night away. But that was my first night so I think I'll get used to it.

They serve brakefast and dinner and so far the food has been appitizing. Aside from the bisckets this mornning, they weren't all that good and REALLY salty. But yeah for the most part its good.

Just wanted to keep you all posted on my life's storry. Alright guys, Catch Ya' Later!!!

How's it goin'!

Thankfully I was able to sell some of my stuff from the apartment and I ended up with some 40 some odd dollars. Well with that I got fresh kitty litter for my cat and later I picked up the most recent issue of Garden Railways magazine.

I love this magizine and I think its safe to say that it is my ALL TIME FAVORITE magazine too! Well as I was looking through it I started formulating some ideas that I'd like to do for Large Scale modeling. Of course I plan on building a 1:20.3 (Fn3) scale garden railway of my Gunpowder Falls Railroad but that is something that'll be FAR in the future, maybe.

But I do have a secondary Road that is also a 3 foot gauge line that I originaly to do in On30 scale. The Wolf Creek and Flagstone! And Railwolf, this would represent Wolf Creek BEFORE the GFRR or even the WOLF had tracks there!

Wolf Creek is, at the time, a small mining town served by a narrow gauge RR. An engine I've recently become quite fond of is the Bachmann "Connie" or 2-8-0. Its an outside framed 2-8-0 that has ALOT of kitbashing potential and its not horribaly priced! I'd turn the modern looking headlamp into a box style headlight and have it mounted on top of the smoke box. Possibly a new Smoke Box door to help backdate the locomotive and a Number plate. The engine's road Number will be determined later.

A new old style wooden pilot would be built to replace the "stock" one. I may possibly give it a wood cab but will keep the curved roof. Also a new Diamond stack would be installed similar to those used on the Bachmann Large Scale 2-6-0 or 4-4-0. Both of which are fin engines as well. All WC&F locomotives will have MTH smoke units installed because, to my knoledge, they put out the most vlume of smoke and personaly if your running a steam locomotive I expect to see ALOT of smoke!

I have a few other ideas but the 2-8-0 was the one I wanted to share. Though I'm not in the posision to do anything of the sort it doesn't hurt to dream or think of possibilities.

Alright guys, I'm tire and needto sleep. So I'll catch ya' later!

Hey Guys!

Yes, YAY for Furryness. I'll explain why.

This past weekend my friend 's girlfriend was in town and we all hanged out at Brodway @ the Beach. Its a big shopping center with a bunch of little shops and unique things and a few resturaunts. Theres a big lake thing in the center and stuff. OH, and there's a MiniGlof course.

Anyway, we all went there just to wonder around, hang out, and ware our tails!

Yes I said tails. Its something a little differen't and its fun. Its quite entertaining to walk into a place and see people's reactions. One kid yelled out "HEY, TONY THE TIGER!!!" To me, since I wore my tiger tail.

But yeah, we wondered around and found a new store called "Pepper Palace". Essentialy its a sauce store, anything from BBQs, Mustards, and Hot Sauces. And what was AWSOME is that they set out pretzel sticks so customers can sample all the different kinds of sauce! The Customer service was REALLY great too! We walked in and they welcomed us and then asked "What are you wareing!?"

I explained it was part of a government genetic experiment. lol!

But yeah, now this may sound odd and maybe a bit gross to some of you but don't kock it until you try it! They had a sample of "Rasberry Mustard"! I though "Ok?" and gave it a try. By Far one of the BEST Mustards I have ever had!!!

But yeah, and later on we went to the Market Commons for Pizza, still waring our tails. (And ears in the case of my friend's girlfriend)

Oh by the way, is the master at "Can-did Camera" shots and got a fantastic one of me! He has yet to post it or send me the file so I can post it, its hillarious!

So overall, I'm glad we all hung out and stuff. Its been quite a morral boster for me, especialy right now.

Alright guys, Catch Ya' Later!!!

Hey guys.

Yeah, sorry about the previous day's profanity. I needed to vent and couldn't find another, more cunstructive way, to do it. So for that I appologise.

Yesterday I was supposed to got to the Labor Ready office but I woke up with yet another illness. I was completely conjested and please forgive me if I gross anyone out but occasionally when I blew my nose I almost though some of my brain came out along with the snot. *EWW!*

Yeah, gross I know. Pluss I was coughing up, with volocity, some nasty looking flem. *gag* So I figured it would be better to stay home than go and work for somebody and end up coughing up cud onto his face. I don't think that would look good.

Any way, I felt better today and also about the whole eviction thing. It still sucks that it happening but if its God's will then so be it. If its not ment to be then he'll provide a way out. And again I'm sorry for the used of language in my last jounal, normaly I DO NOT TALK that way. I still feel bad about it though.

Any way, take care guys! I'm not sure how this will effect my being online. One thing I'd imagine is that I'll be on less frequently. I'll keep you posted though. I'll still be working on TWT as best as I can. Though once thats at a close I may spend more time on my own writing, stuff that I can't post on DA. Not that I don't want to, its for confidenciality's sake. Its a story I don't want anyone to claim as their own.

Any way, I'll Catch Ya' Later!

Yep, I'm Screwed. Today I first got up because I was all conjested and I ached all over and was sweating. I didn't sleep well at all and now my throat is sore and my nose won't stop running! (Hold the jokes please)

But the reason why I'M screwed is because of my Back Stabbing Whore of a Landlord! Please pardon my "French".

Roughly three weeks agao she had contacted me asking about the rent. She SAID that she'll write up the papers but WOULD NOT FILE THEM until the three week grace period is up. Well Guess what, she whent behind my back and filed them on Feb 23! She didn't tell me, call me, or even made a effort to contact me!

So I recieved a knock at my door, I opened it to find a cop telling me I have 10 days to vacate the premisis. I cannot describe who I feel, Livid can't put it MILDLY!

I literaly have no where to go other than some type of mission. I don't know where God is leading me. I'm just SO FED UP with all the STUPID B.S. that just keeps piling and piling up!

I FINALLY was able to apply to Labor Ready, but even with them there's no garuntee that I'll get work every day.

Right now I'm kinda at a loss, a cross-roads. I don't know what to do. You see if the landlord were to contact me and say "This is what I did." I might feel better. BUT NO, she's got to be Half Assed about it all! I'm sick of this woman and I'm sick of the rotting crapwhole she "calls" an appartment complex!

Oh God, lend me strength.

Last Monday I appearently contracted a virus of some sort and it REALLY HIT ME HARD on Monday night. I had the usualy fun stuff, not to gross anyone out but, All I did was puke and had "The Runs". (and thats not even putting it mildly!)

Yeah, the worst part is that it started while I was at the MODEL RAILROAD CLUB!!!

And to all my fellow modlers, do not fret! I didn't puke on the layout. *sighes with relief*

But I did spend the better part of 2 hours in the bathroom before finally heading home and almost littereally puked the rest of the night. Not a moment of sleep.

Ans so, again, I appologise for not being here. But you have to admit I have had a good reason.

Hey Gys! LISTEN, ESPECIALY ALL YOU RAILROADERS OUT THERE!!!

I have a weird idea that I'm working on and I could sue some help. Ya' know how loggers have logging games? Well why not Railroads! If there were such a thing as Railroader Games then what would the events be? So far I've thought of these:

1. A track laying contest.
2. A loco "Tug-A-War".
3. A Fire building/stoking contest.

Well, they wouldn't occur in that order but any way, for contest/event ideas they have to follow this guideline.

1. All events/contests must involve skills used regularly by railroaders.

So no scavanger hunts or something like that. I'm looking for events that will draw a crowd, events that are loud and showy and involve physical and athletic effort.

So, can any of you guys help? <img src="http://e.deviantart.com/emoticons/c/confused.gif" width="15" height="30" alt=":?" title=":? I probably spelled the title wrong but oh well.

Any way, doors seem to be opening up. I've applied to a Chick-Fil-A up on 10th avenue and recently someone just quit there, leaving an open spot to fill! Last week was when I sent in my application so with hope and ALOT of faith I'll get hired!

Also, somewhat of a dissepointment, The lady I was supposed to meet last Friday about the illistration job had to postpone out meeting for sometime later this week. I'm REALLY hoping that this is the break I've been waiting for so my artistic skill cam be used for something to bring me finacial success!

I tried calling the Lady earlier today but was unable to leave a message. So I'll try later and hopefully our meeting will be soon.

I've also recived the Flex-Track I bought off of Ebay and the rail was FAR smaller than I had enissialy thought. Its code 55 so I knew it would be small, but MAN! Its only HALF the hieght of code 100! (wich is the most widely used code for HO track) Regaurdless, It suits its pourpose for my diorama. But for an actual layout It think I'll go with code 70, small enough to represent early to Turn of the Century Railroad track but large enough for the wheel flanges to NOT run over the spike heads!

Any way, just thought I'd keep all of you guys up to date on the ongoing drama that is my life.

Well, I'll Catch Ya' Later!

Hey guys!

Been a while since my last journal, and a bit has happened in between.

First off, last night I went down to my Mom's place to pick up a package that was mailed there for me. On my way my moped started to make a hidious gringing noise and I couldn't go above 30 mph! Since it is my one and only mode of "reliable" transportation I was a bit worried. On my way hope though it was fine. Today I went to the Scooter shop to have it looked at and everything seems to have checked out fine.

Last Sunday though was interesting. I was helping a friend with a presentation at our church and I brough some of my "Furry" art to put out with some of his samples. Later a woman askes about the art and who drew them. I pointed out my 2 peices and we talked a bit.

Turns out that she's a writer or somthing reelated and she's looking for an illistraitor!!!

I have a meeting with her on Friday and I'm REALLY hoping that this is my brake. Trying to not get my hopes up too much in case it doesn't fall through.

But on a less happier note, I'm comming down with a case of meloncolly, aka, lonelyness. This is partly due because of the time of year and a certain holliday, which I have no one special to spend it with.

I've been praying to meet some one but to no avail, at least not yet. Who knows, I might meet someone today, tomorrow, or in the near future. Though for now I'm lonely. Pearl, my pet cat, helps a little but not a whole lot.

But for those of you who do have that "Special Someone" I wish for you the best of luck and a happy Valintines Day!

Alright guys, Catch Ya' Later!
