Ok I popped in for a few minutes,not realy much has changed,just way more stressful.

ok now for the update on why I have not been around.
I have a family memeber in the hospital for over a year now and have been helping take care of things when Iam needed.I just attended my 8 month old cousins funeral friday and we are all waiting on the autopsy results to come back ( they know someone hurt him on purpose).
I have been sick off and on myself from running myself down too much.Iam severly anemic that my doc said he is affraid to take anymore blood work.Plus my computer is broke that is why Iam at my aunts useing hers.

On one good note,I spoke with my aunts minister this morning and Iam going to be baptized this week,so i will finaly be able to call myself Christian and have a church to attend,Iam so excited about this.

But I will be on checking things once a week now.
I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe this summer.

I will warn you I cryed very hard while reading this.I wanted to share this because I think we all need to start doing something about it and stop ignoring the problem.

I know the people in the agenceys may have good intentions but they are not thinking of many things that could help.
Such as the fathers can hide there evil ways very easily,like mine did everytime child serveces came to the house and when we had to go to court my dad always fooled them into thinking he was such a great guy,and you know the bad part is is that he got away with it.

also they need to do something to help these young women get away from the men that hurt them.most young women like my mom will not leave an abusive man because she is scared,she has young children and no place else to go and her job dose not pay well enough to take care of them all.but no these places are not thinking like that are they no.

So I get there and they hook me up to all these machines and then they go to put in an I.V,the lady could not get it so she said she was going to ask the doctor if she could gas me.he said no he would put the i.v in.he then comes in grabs my arm wraps a turnacit so tight i thought my arm was going to fall off,he draws on my writs with a red ball point pen not steralized then gose to put the i.v with out sterilizing the spot and iam almost possitive he tryed with the same needled that the lady had first tryed.well he could not get it in either,so he gets mad at me for not drinking any water befor coming in(i was given a paper that said no drinking anything two hours befor going in).so anyway he hit an artery and some tendion while he was trying to put the i.v in so Iam very sore and bruised and cant realy use my right hand.then he made an appointment for me to come back,i dont think so.Iam going to get a referl to someone else.my friend and mom seen my arm and they want me to turn him in for not only his nasty conduct but also for his lack of sterlization and crulety.
the bad part is I didnt even have any work done.
This whole thing has had me very upset and mentaly worn out all week.

Social Anxiety disorder Ssocial phobia) is the third largestmental health care problem in the world.

Latest government epidemiological data show social phobia affects over 7% of the population at any given time.The lifetime prevalence rate (i.e,the chances of developing social anxiety disorder at any time during the life span) stands at above 13%.

DEFINITION:
social anxiety is the fear of social situations that involve interaction with other people.Put another way,social anxiety is the fear of being judged,and evaluated by other people.If a person usually becomes anxious in social situations,but seems fine when they are alone,then "socail anxiety" may be the problem.

PERCEPTIONS:
People with social anxiety are many times seen by others as being shy,quiet,backwards,withdrawn,inhibited,unfriendly,nervouse,aloof,and disinterested.People with social anxiety want to be "normal" socially,they want to make friends and they want to be involved and engaged in social interactions.Having socail anxiety prevents people from being able to do the things they want,however.

TRIGGERING SYMOTOMS:
People with social anxiety usually experience significant distress in the following situations:

being introduced to other people
Being teased or criticized
being the center of attention
Social situations where the person exhibits excessive self-conscousness.
being watched or observed while doing something
HAving to say something in formal,public situation
Meeting people in authority (important people/authority figures)
Feeling insecured and out of place in socail situations(i dont know what to say)
Emarrassing easily (e.g blushing)
Meeting other people's eyes
Swallowing,writing,talking,making phone calls if in public.

This list is not a complete list of symtoms--other symptoms may be associated with social anxiety as well.

EMOTIONAL SYMPTOMS:
The feelings that accompany social anxiety include,intense fear,nervouseness,automatic negative thinking cycles,racing heart,blushing,excessive sweating,dry throat and mouth,trembling,and muscle twitches.

Constant,intense anxiety is the most common featuer.

INSIGHT:
People with social anxiety know that their anxiety is irrational and dose not make logical sense.Nevertheless,thoughts and feelings of anxiety persist and show no signs of going away,with out appropriate treatment.

THERAPY:
Cognitive-behavioral therapy for social anxiety has been markedly successful.Thousands of research studies now indicate that,after CBT,people with social anxiety disorder report a changed life--one that is no longer controlled by fear and anxiety.

National Institutes of Mental Health-funded studies report a very high success rate using cognitive therapy and a behavioral therapy group.Both are essential to alleviating anxiety symptoms associated with social anxiety dissorder.

MEDICATION:
Social anxiety medication is useful for many people,and psychologists and therapists should work with the persons' medical doctor and/or psychatrist if at all possible.For cases of generalized socail anxiety ,research indicates use of the anti-anxiety agents,and certain antidepressants in conjunction with CBT has proven most beneficial.As to antidepressants,the MAOIs have the highest success rate when combined with CBT.Medication without CBT has proven to be only temporaily helpful.

PROGNOSIS:
Markedly good.People completing CBT training report a high success ratio.In the NIMH longitudinal studies,people continued to report progress after the CBT behavioral group therapy was over.

TREATMENT SPECIALITIES:
Social anxiety,as well as the other anxiety disorders,can be successfully treated today.In seeking help for this problem,we reccommed searching for a specialist--someone who understands this problem well and knows how to treat it.Social anxiety treatment must include an active behavioral therapy grop,where memberscan work on their"fear" hierarchies in the group,and later,in real-life situations.

DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS and COMORBIDITY:
Social anxiety dissorder is one of the five anxiety dissorders as listed in the DSM-IV.

my mom threatend to hurt me if my cousin dose not get here in the next 24 hours because I have done nothing but cry and get mad easy from not being able to find my photoshop. and do some work lol!

on yet another note,iam mad.not with anyone just my situation,i waited forever to get a scanner of my own then i get one and now iam unable to use it due to a fried computer.it makes me mad because i was working on something realy awsome to post here in my gallery and it was one of my best works using photoshop because i was not rushing to get it done and i was taking the time on small details and all that,and now it is all gone all my files,pictuers,everything that was on my computer is now lost forever.I must go cry now(no waite ive been doing that already).

on one last sad little note,on top of everything else going wrong in my life Iam sick, I woke up today with a sore throat,coughing uncontrollably,and on top of all that Iam running a fever.good day to me huh!

iam starting to feel better,not the best but hopefully getting there.
I am realy happy I finaly was able to post something in my gallery and happier it was the first of my comic strip SunnyDay!The first one was inspired by my watching my cat.
I hope those of you who read it will like it because i had so much fun doing it and the way it came out made me feel loads better than i have been feeling.

I had written this sort of long journal entry befor this one but I decided to delete it befor I posted it,I thought i may have ranted about something I should not have,that is going on in my life right now.

Today my mom suprised me with a scanner printer as a late graduation present.omg Iam so happy I finaly have a scanner.

I have been severly depressed the past three weeks,all I want to do is just sit down and have a good cry but have been unable to shed one single tear.there is more going on in my life than just my cousin in the hospital wich is what i deleted in the entry i did not post.I wish i could be like so many of you on here,you take things much better than i do when it come to things in your personal lives.

Today is one of the few days I will have to myself to just stay at home all day long.So iam planing on useing my new scanner and scanning all the new line art i have done since I last posted any pics.so i will be working on new work for you all to see.

Things have been going crazy for the past few days family problems with extended family members,a cousin on his death bed,a freind had to leave in a hurry to be with relatives in another state and asked me to look after things for them,I have been getting ready for not only graduation but also a visit to a college,and not to mention my aunts have had me busy doing things with them I had no idea they had even planed they just kinda kidnapped me.yep very busy indeed I have not ben home more than about two hours this entire week.

Im ok though so dont worry(since I said there was family problems and a sick cousin)Iam handeling things well.

I was asked to be speacker for graduation and like a idiot I said yes(and iam extreamly social phobic) I have a great speach written and one that came from the heart so Iam excitd about that just a bit scared I will faint after giving the speach lol.So IAm getting ready for that,running around getting my outfit and talking with my teachers,and my aunts taking me to get alot of nice clothes and just having some days with the girls.

Then today Friday I have an appointment to tour the local art college and talk to someone from admissions and get started on whatever it is I need to do to get ready to go to school.All week in whatever spare time I can steal i have been working on my portfolio getting things organized and all.I had to look on the web site and make sure i knew where i was going so I could find the school and the building i am supposed to be at.My aunt is going with me so this will be extreamly fun.

Iam sorry if this was all unneat and things missspelled,Iam extreamly sleepy and stole some time to be on here and take care of what i can while i can.

the thing i dont like is that for almost a month now I have had this bad pain in my hip(iam only 25)so i went to the doc and he wants to run some tests to see what it ishe said he thinks it is arthirtis but wants to make sure.I had a bad fourwheeler accident a few years ago where i drug my leg and he thinks it may be due to that.so any way he wants me to sit on things like the sofa where it is a very soft seat and sadly I have only hard chairs to sit on at the computer so i may not be on as often as i would like to be the next few weeks.
so i think i will take this time to write.

hopefully by the end of two weeks time I will have some of the first few pages posted for you.however i want to take my time and do the best i can on this because if i rush myself it will not have the work of my true drawing ability(i dont think anything i have posted yet has shown what i can realy do because most of my work is too big to scan.)

oh and finaly i have found a place that can make prints for me for cons so i will have the fan art i was supposed to have at ohayocon posted sometime in the next few weeks,agian the pics were too big to scan or have prints made nearby so i am happy to have finaly found a place to help me out.

hmmm oh and just something Iam curiouse about...
how many of you artist out there can sometimes and most of the time suffer from depression?iam just doing some reserech on artist and depression or what not.iam one that dose suffer from depression so please dont feel shy about it.

i have to waite till I can get to my dad's house to use his scanner,and right now that is impossible due to the bad weather we have had recently.snow storms and loads of ice dont you just hate it!grrrr...but oh well.Hopefully I will be able to show something new soon.
