First, it's not because I do not longer appreciate dA - IMHO it's still the place of choice to publish ones artworks. The reason is that I earn my living with graphic design and after 15 years of toil in a single business, your passion becomes just a job. I was fooling around with the Random Deviation link at the bottom of the dA pages, just to see what happens. This led me to the idea to do a non-representative and totaly subjective statistics on the quality of submitted artworks. I clicked 100 times the Random Deviation link and tried to judge fair and regardless of the category or my personal taste (as far it is possible). I just ignored Literature submissions, because I don't think I'm qualified enough both in writing and in english laguage (I'm German).
I was expecting bad, bad design in over 80 percent, but I have to admit, that the result is far better than I thought. I already was downloading all my submitted artworks to my HD for backup, cleaning up my gallery and deleting all my ID pics that I did not want to share any longer.

Today I reported a submission to the admins, because I stumbled upon a brushset with swastika symbols that are clearly related to some fascist faggot and definetely not to ancient indian culture. I was very disappointed, though not surprised, that NO ACTION WAS TAKEN by the admins.
