As some of you may already know, I live in that tiny little country which appears to get most of the media coverage these days. (That and mr. Bush.) AKA - Israel.
Some others may also know that military service is (mostly) a "must-do" thing around here. When I was initially supposed to get drafted (age 1 I chose to go on a College studies route which enables me to postpone my military service so I can become a programmer with some degree instead of die somewhere in Azzaa. Two years have now passed and I am done with college. Naturally the IDF wants me back.

IMO, military service is a complete waste of my time. While I COULD continue my studies and get myself a real paying job, I'm actually going to spend the next 3 years with a low (apx) 80$/month paycheck and the 2.5 years that follow with around 1000$/month. I'm not even likely to turn into an officer because that might make me lose my job as a programmer. Well life sucks.

The thing of which I am thankful of, considering that this is something that has to be done is that at least I'm not likley to get killed in the next 5.5 years (Unless one of the computers decides to blow itself up or a killer mouse decides to wreak havoc around the labs). Another fortunate fact is that my base is nearby. That means that I'll be home every day and will get to check out the net and do my art at evenings.

Well enough ranting. Go on. Pitty me. I need it.

Dry, rough pale skin
Hair loss
Cold intolerance (which I am quite the opposite of for some reason)
Muscle cramps and frequent muscle aches
Depression
Irritability
Memory loss
Abnormal menstrual cycles
Decreased libido

It's been a few years of which I had most of the above.

So anyway, I'm off to the doctor tomorrow at 8:00 AM to test the TSH level in my bloodstream.
