Wow, it's been awhile since I've actually updated anything on my dA. Sorry

Anyways, I was thinking of possibly selling prints at my local anime convention, but I have some questions that hopefully somebody can answer . I would likely just sell prints of existing artworks since I probably won't have enough time to make any new ones.

1. Would my art even sell? (ie. Should I even bother XDD;; )

2. Any suggestions on which artworks I should make prints of?

3. How much do prints usually sell for?

4. What's the standard size for bookmarks (in pixels)? (Ie. how many bookmarks should I print on a page, and what size paper?)

5. Image quality... I know some of my art is at 300 dpi, while others are at 72 dpi. Would that affect quality on 8.5" x 11" size prints much?

6. Do people usually put watermarks on their prints (like, by the edge of the paper) ?

7. Kind of paper to use? Which do people prefer, matte or glossy? (Or something else?)

To anyone who will ever attempt to fight Yiazmat... make sure you're leveled... like, AT LEAST 80+ and that you have some really good weapons (like Zodiac Spear, Tournesol, Fomalhaut + Dark Shot, etc.). AND GENJI GLOVES for whoever's using Masamune.

It would've taken me much less time had I had the above items in possession and were not so underleveled.

I'm really sorry for my disappearance from dA over the last few months, but school has been extremely hectic for me

I barely even have time to play video games ( D: ), but I have finally beaten FFXII, although I'm still doing sidequests and fighting Yiazmat. 50 million HP, 50 life bars, damage cap to 6999 at the 25th life bar -- it's taking FOREVER for me to beat him. I think I'm like, 5 hours into the battle.... thank God I'm on Christmas break and have lots of spare time

I thought it was a pretty good game, but there's barely any character development >_<;; I LOVED the battle system, although I think it might've been better if you could chain together your attacks like in FFX-2. Gotta love the boss battle theme. It just felt so... adventurous whenever I went into battle XDD. Mixed feelings about the license board, but I liked how you could fully customize each character to whatever fighting style you wanted them to have. (Like a vamped up version of the FFX sphere grid!) I must admit, the camera controls were hard to get used to at first... as Reks I was constantly running into walls

Yay for Balthier, his sky pirating ways and general awesomeness ~~

Has anyone seen the trailer for Final Fantasy Versus XIII ?? I think it got released mid-December but I saw it for the first time last night and I have been obsessing about it ever since. It looks amazing and I absolutely love the song... and the part where he takes the first step down the stairs and the music picks up... omgOMG OMGGGG. And a motorized sword? How badass is that?? I CAN'T WAIT. LOL.

I haven't had any spare time to draw at all... and I feel REALLY rusty. Ah well, maybe (MAYBE) I'll get some practice in over the summer. Probably not though, since I'm going away for vacation soon, and I'll be gone for a month. Ah well.

Anyways~! Here's my usual video game talk!! With some anime and movie talk as well?? Wow, I have a lot of catching up to do

Drakengard 2
Never really finished what I had to say about this one, but I finished it fully a few months back. The cgs were absolutely beautiful as always... (I swear, the only reason I bought this game was for the cgs ) The gameplay has improved from the first, and I found the dragon controls much easier/more accurate than the first. I dunno, when I try going back and redoing the air battles in the first Drakengard, I can't control Angelus as well.

But the best thing about this game? THE MUSIC. "Symphonic Poem ~ Forbidden Prelude" is probably one of the best video game themes I've heard. It has so many different layers which makes it amazing to listen to, especially when the different sounding layers suddenly come together. The song also has an epic feel to it, but still manages to incorporate the typical Drakengard sound. I would also recommend "Vein of Grief" and "Fate".

Kingdom Hearts 2
My, my, what to say... The plot was awesome and complex, but the gameplay/battles were way too easy. I miss having to actually LOOK for all the different treasure chests and using those trinity limit things. AND I HATE JIMINY CRICKET AND HIS STUPID JOURNAL. All that just to get a secret ending... man . Maybe I should've started out in proud mode...

Organization XIII is so awesome... but I wonder, what was Axel's real name? Eal? Ale? Ela? Lea? All of the possibilities sound pretty bad XD

The secret ending by the way is SO WEIRD. Totally different from the usual KH atmosphere. It's actually dark and sinister. The third one looks really interesting.

Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition
Man, this game is hard, especially since each time you buy healing items, the price goes up. That goes against my nature as an RPG player! Learning how to dodge attacks? Bah. I'd rather just use my healing items or spells The battles are challenging but fun. I still haven't fully completed it yet... still have to play through as Vergil and unlock the other modes/difficulty levels.

And for movies...
I saw Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest on opening night, and all I have to say is....

"Where's my ending?!"

Seriously, the ending was the biggest cliffhanger ever. Like, when I was watching it, I thought "OMG, this is gonna get good!!" And then the movie ENDS. I stared at the screen in shock and disbelief.

I don't know... it's kinda like in Naruto when Rock Lee was fighting Kimimaro and the episode ends with the Sand Trio coming, and you KNOW next week's episode is gonna rock. But for this, we'll probably have to wait a year to see how the POTC story turns out. Gah, way too much suspense!!!

Despite this, it wasn't horrible. Hilarious, and lots of action. And of course, Jack Sparrow awesome-ness

As for anime...
I've been watching Ouran High School Host Club... I usually steer clear from shoujo anime... but this series is just too funny. Tamaki is so melodramatic, Haruhi is so apathetic... And Nekozawa is just plain awesome. Seriously, anybody who wears a black robe, is deathly afraid of sunlight, and has a cat puppet named Bereznoff wins 100000000000x cool points . Too bad he's not a main character...

Man, during Christmas break, I finished FFX-2 out of pure boredom. (100% completion + perfect ending ) The ending made all that suffering worth it though. It was so happy Then, with three days left in my break, I bought Shadow Hearts: Covenant. (Not the best idea with a four-day exam starting the day after I got back to school, but meh.)

OMFG, that game is hilarious -- sometimes unintentionally. It's like, they put in clichés for the sake of making fun of clichés. And what's up with collecting those cards??? I laughted so hard when I looked at my key items and was like... "What are all these Mr. _____ items??" I wish Yuri wouldn't always say "Bite me" though... it just sounds stupid XD

I liked the good ending better than the bad one though... I think it provided more closure.

Now I can try all those sidequest dungeons...

Only two weeks until Drakengard 2.... and Kingdom Hearts 2 comes out in a month and a half?? You get to fight alongside Jack Sparrow!!! <-- OMFG SO AWESOME!!!!111111 Seriously, even if I had never played Kingdom Hearts before, I would buy KH2 just so I can that. (Is a total Pirates of the Caribbean freak )

Anyways, I just bought Shadow of Colossus today and I've been playing it for the last four hours o__O

I love it... the concept is completely different from other video games I've played. The idea is that you're this guy (I think his name is Wander... ) who is trying to revive a loved one. In order to do so, you have to go defeat 16 colossi. These things are HUGE. You're like... 1/10th their size.

The cool thing is, each colossi is like a puzzle... you have to figure out where to climb up on them and then from there, you have to find their vital spot and stab them until they die without falling off from their thrashing and shaking. The problem is, sometimes they have more than one vital spot or you might have to find somewhere on their body to attack in order to get them to kneel or something.

Kyah~ I love the music! It's so adventurous, especially when you finally climb onto the colossi. And the scenery is beautiful. You get to venture on lots of different places with your horse.

But yay, I beat Drakengard with 100% completion (getting all 65 weapons was a pain! Especially when I had to redo missions in Chapter 12. I don't like Chapter 12... it really creeped me out...) and started FFX-2 again after leaving it for a year.

Man, I'm not even done chapter 2 yet, but I'm almost there. Just gotta finish the Infiltrate Bevelle mission! I dunno, FFX-2 doesn't keep my attention for a long time. Usually I play RPGs obsessively until I beat them, but for FFX-2 I'm just like, "Meh." and I leave it for awhile XDD;; Maybe the game is too girly for me XDD;;;

EDIT: Okay... so I've finally finished Sphere 211. OMG. Lenneth was insanely hard to beat. Like 100x harder than Gabriel. And she was way harder than the final boss of Sphere 211.

So now I'm trying to beat the last secret boss of SO3. She's as hard as Lenneth... except with way more HP and MP. (So I guess that makes her harder?? XD ) I was going for an MP kill and I found out... she has 3,000,000 MP. 3 MILLION. OMG. That's like, 200 Energy Bursts' worth of damage!! Her HP is 20 million.

It's going to take forever to beat her. The last few times I tried, I ran out of resurrecting items for the party. (I had 20 Analeptics and 20 Resurrection Mists. I can't believe she killed me so many times). Once you're out of party resurrection items... YOU'RE SCREWED. All of her attacks seem to kill you instantly if you're there... especially Ether Strike. OMG... Ether Strike basically kills everyone on the field unless she's in a corner. I would use Sophia or Adray to use restoration, but the AI is so stupid. They can't just stand in one spot and cast healing spells. They run up to the boss and try to beat them up too. Argh. OMG NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... I loved Kadsuki's hair TT____TT At first I was like, "Hm. Kadsuki looks different..." And then he turned around and I was like "OMFG. His hair. IT'S SHORT." I think I'm traumatized now XDDDDD

Oh!! And there's a new .hack game coming out/out!?! It's called .hack//G.U. I don't know a lot about it though... the magazine was in Thai BUT!! One of the main characters kinda looks like Allen Walker!! The silver hair... and the eye markings...

And I saw a preview of another game at a mall: Drag-on Dragoon 2: Love Red, Ambivalence Black. That game looks kick-ass. I just stopped and stared in awe at the TV there. I can't wait till they release it here. I mean, it looked so AWESOME...
