No, I'm just trying to say what are the elements that make a particular game franchise so successful.

Can you cover practically EVERYTHING about a game?
What do you think I am, the Gaming Oracle? Of course I can't say everything there is to say about one particular game series. That's why input from others will help very much

What makes a good Sonic game? (not including spin-offs)

It has to be FAST. And I mean SILLY FAST. I found that if a Sonic game doesn't make my head spin every so often it's not proper Sonic. This rule's relaxed for the retro Sonic games tho.

There's gotta be a good balance of platforming and action in there.

No stupid gimmicks (i.e. the whole werehog thing that was introduced in Sonic Unleashed)

A nice glazing of tactical elements is always nice.

Good Examples

Sonic Heroes (Released on Gamecube and PS2)
_{The team element in this game is not a stupid gimmick, and it works nicely with each team member having unique strengths and weaknesses, which is a good tactical element. The game is wonderfully fast, vibrant and it really does make your head spin in places.}

Sonic CD (Released on Sega CD, also as part of Sonic Gems Collection released on Gamecube)
_{Classic 2D Sonic game with that blistering speed, tactics and action all combined into one great package. The addition of the 3D special stages also adds a nice touch, and in general, everything works well.}

Sonic games are all about SPEED, not being able to beat the crap out of the enemies. Well, beating the crap out of enemies isn't the main focus of any Sonic game. What were the guys at SEGA drinking when they came up with this?}

What makes a good Mario game? (not including spin-offs)

It has to be vibrant and colourful. That's a biggie.

It has to have good platforming action.

Lots of power-ups to collect and enemies to stomp.

Mario's famed Spin Jump has to be in there too.

If someone fails as they want to fail, and another person fails at failing, does the first person fail at failing, or does the second person fail as they don't want to fal or do they both fail as they want to fail and not fail as they should have failed?

OR.....

If one person fails at failing, and another fails as they want to fail, does the first person fail as they want to fail or do they epically fail at failing to fail at failing, and does tyhe second person not fail as they wish to fail and so fail at failing, in other words, failing as they do not want to fail?

What about this?

If someone fails, and someone else fails to fail, does the other person win? Or do they fail epically? OR do both parties fail, just the second person fails more than the first?

Name: Prince Tammy Nestetine

Age: 17 years

Hair Style: Shoulder-length and messy

Hair Color: Blue-green (it is his natural colour, stems from the fact he's not from Earth)

Eye Color: Bright green

Facial features: Medium-sized eyes, large, slightly pointed nose and thin lipped. Skin is lightly tanned and he has thin eyebrows which are the same colour as his hair.

Clothing: Casual but still slightly regal. Black T-shirt, with dark green trousers and black boots. Has a black cape pinned around his shoulders. He also wears black fingerless gloves.

Weapon(s): He has a long sharp sword he inherited from his late grandfather Rhys Nestetine, and a Dragon Staff inherited from another of his late grandfathers, Lyle Draconia.

Personality: Boastful, pretty arrogant and a helpless flirt. He can also be protective and dutiful.

Bio: Prince Tammy Nestetine is the second son of King Ayn Nestetine and Queen Thea Draconia, who lived on Azura, one of the two moons of the world of Samesina. When he was just five years old he began warrior training. He learned quickly and completed his training in just three years as opposed to seven. at 10 years old, he claims to have slain a dragon (which he did), but he only just won the battle (even though the dragon was already weakened). He himself claims it to have been a pushover. At 14 he was forced to flee Azura due to a terrible attack (the sources never confirmed the real culprit, they all put it down so an evil entity named 'Dark Force' and were too scared to do any real research) which destroyed it. Tammy and his older brother Prince Sean Nestetine escaped, but his father and mother perished because they could not bear to leave. When he was 16 he left Samesina and made his way to Earth to try and make a new life for himself, but gave up soon after and returned to Samesina. Now, in the present day, he lives in a castle in the Chalst Province of Samesina with his brother (whom he hates with a passion) and now waits for the adventures to call to him.

Magic: Tammy's magic training (or 'technique training' as magic on Samesina is referred to as 'techniques'

consists of several different types, but his most proficient by far are his attack techniques. He mainly uses Zan technique (lightning magic), Foi technique (fire magic), Tsunami technique (water magic) and Barta technique (ice magic). He also knows the Megido technique (instant death magic that only has about a 30% chance of working) but can still not cast this technique too well. He knows several healing techniques, his best ones being Resta technique (healing magic that heals wounds), Anti technique (magic that cures things such as poisoning and magical paralysis) and Reverser technique (revival magic that brings the dead back to life, but only has about a 45% chance of success). If Tammy uses his techniques alongside the Dragon Staff he inherited from one of his late grandfathers, the magical damage potential of his attack techniques and the magical healing potential of his healing techniques are increased greatly.

Other Side Notes: Tammy is one of the rare beings of Samesina known as the Dragon Knights. He can change his physical form into that of a dragon, and whilst his attacks are much more deadly, his most-known weakness (poor defense) is emphasised greatly. Unlike some shapeshifting beings, if Tammy changes physical forms, his wounds are not healed and so this can be costly if he cannot heal for a prolonged period.

#MagicBattleMadness - The Magical Battling Game!
OK, so maybe the last idea I had was all confusing and weird, and as =Ultra-Violet-X brutally and truthfully pointed out, a lame copy of an existing chatroom game, the game has been revised and overhauled!

RULES:

1. As per usual, no spam, trolling, flaming, advertising etc etc etc.

2. Don't try to cheat. Cheaters get warned, then kicked, then banned.

3. Instructions are to be followed, m'kay?

So, here we go! THE NEW, REVISED EDITION!

The players are split into two teams: Necromancers and Mages

The catch? You don't know who is who!

You have to try and avoid killing your own teammates, but it's not so simple.

Each player will be called one-by-one to the backroom to choose a person to cast a spell on.

But it can only be done during a new moon.

And the spell only goes into effect on a full moon.

If two players are playing, then there's a chance the spell could miss.

But, if more than two players are playing, then the player who is most targeted for the spell will be hit by a spell.

In a two-player game, the first person to take 3 hits loses. In a more than two-player game, the side who has no players left loses.

As people are taken out in a more than two-player game, they are revealed for who they truly are, whether they are a necromancer or mage.

This game is all about magic, and you have to try and catch the ones who are killing all of the mages. (Inspired by @OpalMist's game of dAmn Werewolves)

#MagicBattleMadness is where it's happening.

Quick breakdown:

Necromancers are the ones who can go round and try to kill the mages.

The Mages are the ones you're trying to save.

The Diviner is allowed to find out who one of the players is (once per turn).

The Alchemist can try to either kill one person or save another. Can only be done once per game.

The Enchanter is allowed to turn two players into a team.

The Abjuror can defend one person per turn.

The Evoker can attempt to attack one other person per turn.

If any of this is unclear just ask.

RULES:

1. As per usual, no spam, trolling, flaming, advertising etc etc etc.

2. Don't try to cheat. Cheaters get warned, then kicked, then banned.

3. Instructions are to be followed, m'kay?

HOW THE GAME WORKS:

First of all, the roles are given out.

Then, the Necromancers meet up in the backroom and pick ONE person to attempt to 'kill'.

The Alchemist then goes to the backroom to either kill/save a person.

The Diviner then goes to the backroom and finds out the identity of ONE person.

The Evoker then goes to the backroom and picks a person to attack.

The Abjuror then goes to the backroom to pick a person to defend.

Once that is done, everyone is allowed to speak, then they have to try and catch the Necromancers. Theynominate one person, or abstain (don't vote). If a person gets a majority vote, their identity is revealed and they are 'dead'.

WINNERS:

If all the Necromancers are caught, then the Mages win.

If the number of Mages becomes equal to that of the number of Necromancers, the Necromancers win (as everyone gets killed).

Other roles do not count in either case.

Now for some real updates. *clears throat and attempts seriousness*

1. Is there one of my types of art you like, and want to see more of? Speak it out to me - I won't bite.

2. I'd also like to share one of my comics with everyone. It's a Worms comic called "The Longest Conference", and I thought you people might like it. So here's the place to go: [link]

3. Do you think that I should try a new type of art? If so, what is it, and give me a good reason why I should try it (so not just "cos you've not done it before", something constructive).

4. I've started taking requests, but I can only take certain requests, and I do have a sort of 'rule' when it comes to requests. Let me outline these below.

For fan art requests, I can only take Mario fan art, Worms fan art and (possibly) Zelda fan art. If you really want me to do another fan art, then you'll have to provide me with a link to a good representation of what you want me to draw. Preferably two.

If you request a comic, then you need to give me details on length, subject and style. Styles I do are lineart, coloured lineart (using other colours in lineart), and fully coloured.

For literature requests, I can only do short pieces. I've got my own lit to worry about, too.

Quick note - I DON'T take requests that could potentially involve mature content. All mature content deviations I upload are just because they have some sort of 'mature' thing in them. If there's a chance your request could involve mature content, I'll let you know and we can work around it.

These aren't in place just for my own benefit, they're also in place to help you if you wish to put forward a request. And forgive me for poor drawing! I can't draw very well, so you'll have to excuse meh.

Please don't get impatient with me. I need time to do requests, as I use traditional methods to produce them (except in the case of abstract and fractals). If, by some chance, I AM taking slightly too long on your request, note me so I can give you details. I also have a lot of bad artist days, where everything I draw looks real bad, so please forgive me.
