Now this is one of the best movies ever. The reasons it's not the best is the plot. Because i feel it's overused and there were a couple things that were a little ... strange. Such as the tips of their hair, those tentacle things were so weird. And the whole mother nature thing ... but justifying it with science. Idk ... even after seeing it twice it was a little over my head.

But the effects and 3D-ness. Is amazing and a must see for the theatre.

oh and good news. i got a job. today was my first day of training. it's kinda like a fast food restaurant. old style, so only girls work in front... kinda cool. bad thing was that i've been sickly the last 2 weeks and this morning it all came crashing on me. i threw up and was all shakey but i couldn't miss my first day. so i bared it.

hopefully i'll get my shit done since i'll be staying home these next few days.

Anyways, what are you guys thankful for?

Okay so here's the deal with my hair. I try to take super good care of it. I don't care much about my clothes or anything, but i have to have good hair. So yesterday i went and got it cut and styled. And died red. Like a bright red and it looked pretty rock star. But then i washed it and the red die just kept coming out the suds were bright pink. So i washed it 3 times with color care shampoo. And when i was done my hair like nearly pink. Like a dark fusha.

It actually looked pretty cool, but not what i was going for. So i went back today and got it fixed and i have to wait 2 days before washing my hair this time and it looks pretty sweet.

So that's my deal. I haven't done much art recently. I'll try to get the prize art done by the end of the weekend.

i've been doing really terrible in school. not getting assignments in and feeling overwhelmed. but i have next week off for thanksgiving so hopefully that will be a great help to get stuff done.

as far as art goes ... i'm currently working on prize art(zutara), and other stuff i owe people(vampire knight). and a random vampire knight pic that i sketched and felt needed to be colored.

the art class i'm currently taking is really helping me with shadows and perspective. so i'm really trying with these pieces. and that's why it's taking me soo long. but with no school next week and christmas break also coming. this winter should be a good one for my deviantart gallery.

So i'm applying at a local diner. It's a pretty cool hang out for the college kids in town. I'm pretty sure i'll get the job because it's a small town. First semester will be over soon. And there's a long list of connections i have. My aunt, 2 cousins, my cousins gf, and my older sister. And my dad went to high school with the owner. It's nice when your last name is known by everyone in town.

Other than a real job i'm still offering commissions. Pretty much i'll do any sort of art for money. Coloring, lining, backgrounds. Whatever you want.

So as for art goes... right now i'm working on random crap. Hopefully i'll get my alucard pic done before halloween. Woot!

I just got the 8gb because my dad is amazingly cheap. I pretty much had to beg him to get me a birthday present. He thought my senior pictures were my birthday present. I'm like T_____T everyone gets senior pictures.

Anywho, I love the video camera it's surprisingly good quality but it's on the lower part of the ipod so it's hard to hold it vertically and take video. It also has a radio which works really well.

Right now i'm organizing my itunes and figuring out what videos i want on it. My old ipod was a 60gb but it had a busted hardrive, but i sold it on ebay and made $50.

I got another random zutara sketch done today. Maybe i'll upload it, maybe not. I'm almost done with random azula pic which i'll upload tonight or tomorrow.

i've decided kinda last minute that for my senior project i'll be doing a digtal art portfolio. so i have some questions for you guys.

1. what's the usual amount of pieces in an art portfolio?
2. what theme should my portfolio be ?
3. what style should the porfolio consist of?
- should i use multiple styles.

My ideas so far for the theme is "7 deadly sins" or "zodiac signs". The theme can be anything.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give me anything you can think of. I need a final answer by tomorrow.

I got it on my first try. The only problem is i am still car-less because my dad keeps getting me free cars and they don't exactly work ...

So anyways, school starts on tuesday T___T my final year of high school is finally here. And i've decided what to do for my senior project. I've decided to make a website. My step-mom makes them and will help me and be my mentor. I just need an idea for one, it has to be use to the community. So i have no clue what to do.

I saw spirited away for the first time a couple of days ago. It's soooo good, another watch.

Omg the new vampire knight chapter. Zero and Yuuki finally see eachother after an entire yeaaar. I like the new guy, he seems like a good love interest for Yori. Though my predictions are growing. Now i think possibly the new guy is going to attempt to harm yuuki, and zero might step in and save her. Because we all know he can't hurt her.

I feel bad for the chairman, he loves zero and yuuki so much and now he has to step inbetween them. When zero said "do what you like" i was like "*slap*u bastard! you know you can't kill her! you love her!" gah this series is freakin dramatic. >_<"

I recently got a bunch of money from working for my grandparents and i've almost spent $200 on anime/manga. O_O i know it's terrible. But i'm getting quite the collection. I've got all the fma dvds plus the movie. Naruto ninja clash in the land of snow, naruto shippuden movie 2 bonds, inuyasha seasons 1,2,4,5, inuyasha movies 1+2. Hellsing complete anime, and avatar volume 1. As for manga i've got vampire knight 1-6 (the 7th one just came out woo!) and meru puri complete, and i've recently ordered wild ones volumes 1+2. I'm also thinking about ordering kare first love, because it was my first manga and it's oh so cute.

So once i get season 3 of inuyasha i'm going to be on a complete inuyasha kick. Besides zutara week keeping me busy i've also got 2 vk pics to color, and a hellsing idea. And i'll try to get a couple pages of my long forgotten comic out. AND i'm thinking of having some art trades just for fun.

And um no one has commissioned me since i started offering them, so i might just not offer them anymore, who knows.

Spoilers below!!!

My fav part was when Sam died (or was knocked out). And McKayla was crying over him. It was really emotional and i recognized Megan Fox as a real actress for the first time. But then it got back to the cheesiness and sam talked to the transformer gods or w/e and came back to life.

Overall I'd have to give the movie a 4/10. The constant stupid things like Sams mom eating pot brownies and running around campus stoned was over the top, the gangster autobots with their gold teeth. The old pirate themed autobot that farted and a parasuite came out his butt. The deceptacon with the scrotum ... and the stupid things just continued.

But i did notice ... the scene where sam is meeting his roomate for the first time. There is a naruto poster on the wall next to a thousand hot chick pin-ups. It made me giggle

A reason i like transformers is for the awesome effects. The robots with countless details flying all over the scene. Though i found myself being bored during the long fight scenes. Because it was just auto-bots punching eachother over and over.

I've been working on an entry into a naruto contest. But it won't be done for a while. And i've been slowly sketching more A.S.H pages but i don't have a scanner right now and won't have one till later this month.

I'm leaving in a few hours to go work for my grandparents this week. Monies!$!$

And we're getting a new puppy today also. It's really random because we already have 3 dogs and are puppy-sitting my sisters dog. We're getting a boston-terrier puppy. I don't know much about the breed, but the puppies are adorable.

I don't know if you guys watch or care about the show America's Got Talent.
But during the Seattle auditions there was a guy named Brad that stuck a drill up his nose and a hook through his nasal passage. I knew that guy when i was a kid! He dated my aunt for a while! Crazy crazy small world.

I have some critisism about that show. I feel it focuses way too much on the bad auditions. American idol focuses more on the raw talent. And doesn't add in the sparkles, sad music, and slow mo jumps ... it's a headache to watch sometimes.

It makes me feel like a kid again! I totally grew up on Toy Story, Lion King, Hercules, Aladdin, and all those amazing disney/pixar movies. My fav toy story character was always Rex, we was so stupid.

So a strange thing happend yesterday...
My dad lives in the country, my family has been wheat farmers for generations, though i'm more of a city girl ... anyways, we were digging behind our garage and my brother found a freaking machete. O_O i know, it's really dull and bent a little, but wtf, a machete in the ground? it freaked me out because i just watched the newer friday the 13th. (Which sucked btw, 7 topless scenes ruined the movie)

Naruto is getting freakin intense!
I SO look forward to the next Sasuke/Naruto/Sakura interaction. There's going to be so much emotion. Like "wtf sasuke,why'd you join the akatsuki!?" And sakura cried when thinking about sasuke, sasusaku plz? *gets shot*

I feel like they're dragging the series on. But yuuki finally confessed that her thrist won't be quenched because she still loves Zero! O_o Why can't those 3 just have a threesome already!?

I'm pretty sure that was just a promo ... but talk about epicness!!!
The best part was the FN ships shooting the fireballs! The narrorating is so hilarious. It's like we've seen the whole series, multiple times and here these noobs are going to see this trailer ... gah i've never been so excited for a movie. This is definetly on my top 3 movies to come, along w/ spiderman 4 and jurassic park 4.

Aang/Noah did a great job with the wind glider, the martial arts in the movie is going to be epic. I can't wait to see Appa, Katara, Sokka, Momo, Suki, Zuko, Iroh, Yue, and all the other amazing season 1 peoplez. I hope they have CRAZYFOAMYMOUTHGUY!!! Gah! *spazzes some moar!*

So i went and bought the Adam Lambert Rolling Stone magazine. Pick one up if you like hot/gay/amazing rock stars. I feel like he's going to be one of my obsessions. I voted for him all throughout american idol, he didn't win. And yet he's on 2 magazine covers this months. And in other tabloids. Because he came out of the closet. If it's a shock to anyone, get your gaydar checked. The article has some freaking awesome pics of Adam, putting on the guyliner, and some older photos of him in drag, and tongueing other dudes. (i have nothing wrong w/ gay people, my mom is gay fyi) He admited to smoking pot and tried other drugs. But he's a rocker and a rebel, of course he's done drugs lol. It also talked about his new album, which will be released this fall. I'm SO buying it. And i don't mean i'm going to go onto limewire lol.

So like all zutara comic artists ... i want to change the comic style.
the whole coloring thing ... it's a lot of damn work, and i'm considering just sketching the pages from now on. It's so much faster ... bitch about it if you want but it's my comic/art and i'll do what i want. So look out for the next group of pages over the next few days.

Twilight ... okay honestly i don't see what all the fuss is about it. I read half of twilght and got bored. And yes it was before it got popular it was spring 2007. But the new moon trailer makes me laugh. Especially when Bella's all "kiss me ..." and she's supposed to look romantic but her eyes look crossed and her eyebrow goes up ...

So funny.

Okay, so i have a lot of stuff to do within the next couple of months. First I have to finish my junior year of high school. ONLY ONE MORE YEAR OF HELL LEFT!!!!! Well ... then comes college, ugh i don't even want to think about that ...
Then I have to start on my senior project. I have a story that i want to either write a novel w/ or create a graphic novel.
And, I have to get my license, not to mention get my car working again ... I was driving w/ my dad at night and all of the sudden the gas stopped working and my lights went out, yeah it was freaky, but i got it off the highway and we survived.
Next, I have to get a job. T_T My dad wants me to start paying at least for my own gas, and he'll pay for insurance, though i think that's unfair because he paid for my sisters gas until she was 19. (damn economy!)
So yeah, i think my procrastination ability is catching up to me.

Lately i've been reading some manga books (borrowing then from friends)
I've read Kare Fire Love, and Meru Puri, and i started Rurouni Kenshin. So if you wanna chat about those i'd be more than happy to. I already bought all the Meru Puri books.

As for my art ... I've been incredibly lacking inspiration and will power to work on anything. I've gotten slightly farther on requests, and did the lineart for a yue/sokka pic, and barely started coloring it.

ZUTARA COMIC!
I've been so excited about this comic for about the past month. It's been a slow process of planning, editing, and re-editing. I think we've edited every scene at least once. I have no idea when i'll have the first pages out. Depends entirely on when i get the time. My time will be really cut down once i get a job. But money is good.

Are you serious? Adam in the bottom 2? He's the most professional person on the show! Rediculous i tell you. T___T

Oh the joys of being maid of honor.
So i am the maid of honor for my older sisters wedding. Which involves all these crazy things, because it's "tradition". I try to help where i can. Such as i made the "save the date" cards. And today we went cake testing. My stomach hurt so badly after eating 3 cupcakes and eating frosting. But it's probably the best part about planning a wedding.

Okay now i have to rant about American idol this week.

My favorites are Adam, Alison, and Lil. I think Lil's days are numbered. My guess for the top 3 is Adam, Alison, and Danny. Because Danny has a huge fanbase along w/ Adam. And Alison has RAW talent. (but i've heard all those stories about how she's already famous in mexico, i'm not sure if that's true...)

I cant believe that they saved Matt last night. He's probably going home next week anyways. They should have saved the save for a contestant more deserving. I mean Matt is good, but i don't think he's a star.

Now don't kill me but it's taking me a long time to get everyones requests done, i've been having sketching issues, and been working on some traditional paintings. But i promise to have all the requests done by this summer. My summer vacation starts June 11th.

I will be offering commissions after that. Though i've only done private commissions before, so honestly i don't know how to offer them. (if you have advice, note me)

Thanks to those of you that voted on my poll. Like i thought, zutara won. So i'll try to get some zutara art. And i've been thinking of doing a zutara comic. There are other zutarians creating their own comic of how the series ends. I would really like to do my own. (my sad attempt at a zutara story line you can find in my gallery, "Gravty of Love") Problem being i don't really have a good idea for one. So i'm probably going to get a group of friends together to help me think up a story line. Then i'll start on it. It's not a for sure thing though. So don't get your hopes up.

If you have a good idea for a story line i'm open to almost anything at this point. NOTE ME.

I've been working on the requests a little bit ... hard to get some will power. And i want to get more naruto art up. Eventually my friends. I'm working on an avatar group picture right now. I have been working on a butt load of zutara art lately. My own stuff, and requests. I hope to start taking commissions in the summer, so i'm closing my requests down to FIVE. I already have 3 so if you want me to do a request for ya, better ask soon.

My grandparents found out that i do art ... (yeah not much of my family sees my stuff). So they're offering to buy me all sorts of supplies. My grandpa bought me a painting easel, and tomorrow my grandma's bringing me paints. yeah i have awesome grandparents.

NARUTO 440! OMG! (SPOILERS) When naruto cried *sniffles* i wanted to just make him hug his father ... and he punched him ...

But that chapter was VERY needed and it was perfect. I think that's kinda how i imagined when he found his dad. (anyone else think minato is hot?, damn that fangirl in me!)I'm still waiting to see what's happening w/ hinata. I'm expecting Kiba to come to her rescue and all those KibaHina fans will spazz. Which is cool w/ me because i like em too.

This is random but my dad just walked in my room to show me that he's dying his hair ... *blinks* whatever.

So i guess this was just an update... expect new art up this weekend because i don't have much planned ...

Oh except i do have a bit of good news. My sister is getting married! She's 19 and getting married to a marine. And my little sister and i are the maids of honor. So of course is TRADITION for us to help plan the wedding. So i am going weddingdress/bridesmaiddress shopping with her for the next 3 saturdays. I hope it doesn't kill me. I usually get emo during shopping because i see all the preppy beautiful girls

EDIT: So watchmen was FREAKIN SWEET. The dialouge was overdone if you ask me, but then some people might argue that the comic was written that way. Like most hollywood movies all the sex from the comic was in the movie, and they left out some details about the characters (especially nite owl). Other than that it was completely epic. When new york was destroyed i thought my ears were going to explode! and when Jon takes silk to mars ... woooow so amazing. the animation/graphics were killer! I DEFINETLY recommend it. I might go see slumdog with a friend tomorrow, gotta get the R ticket somehow ... lol LATER

Anyways, i've done alot of zutara stuff lately so i'm gonna try to do some other stuff, like fma, since it's returning in april

*fangirl squeal*!!! As for vampire knight, i've pretty much lost interest in it, the plot is so dramatic, and overdone. T_____T And i'll continue to do avatar fanart coughzutaracough.Oh how i wish i was better at drawing, i look at all this amazing art on dA and it makes me depressed. But then i look back on my stuff from a year ago, and i realize i've improved alot. So hopefully this time next year, i'll be better.

Okay now i wanted to talk about the casting of "The Last Airbender". I DO NOT agree with the fans that support the "Aang Ain't White" idea. I think that classifying the characters of avatar as "asians" isn't correct at all. My reason is that in that avatar universe there is NO SUCH THING AS ASIA! The avatar universe is MADE UP, and therefore the cultures presented in it are also MADE UP. When mike and bryan created avatar they weren't trying to re-create asia, they were creating what they wanted, and yes they did take aspects of asia but just because they live with things of that culture doesn't mean they need to be asian. The cast of avatar, can be white or asian, but it really isn't right to say that they are in fact asians, or any other real world ethnicity. Mike and Bryan are co-directing the movie, and i'm sure they're fine and satisfied with the casting, don't tell them how to do their job. Avatar is there's and we're the fans, they know what to do. Also saying that the director is racist, is just plain dumb, he's Indian for christ sakes. I respect anyone that wants to support their own opinion on the subject, and i reserve the right of ignorance against it.

Also, Indiana won miss america 2009. I love this stuff.

I guess that what i mean is that whenever my siblings watch avatar i can't stand watching it with them. My step brothers ages 13 and 16 had never seen avatar so i let them borrow my ipod and they hooked it up and watched all the episodes. And i couldn't watch it with them, even when passing their room i would try not to listen. And my younger step siblings ages 2 and 6 also love avatar, their favorite is momo lol. And whenever my brother is watching episodes with them i feel like i don't wanna watch at all. I'll even whistle to make it so i can't hear. It really killed me when i was washing dishes and i turned around to see the first maiko kiss on the screen. T___T ugh just pure hatred. and even though i can't watch avatar, i can still draw zutara art. i think the main reason i watched avatar was to see zutara happen, and it never did, so i guess the hatred of the show just comes from being totally obsessed with it for two entire years and never seeing what i wanted happen. (this is a total rant, congrats if you're still reading) so i was wondering if i was the only one ... or what your feelings are now that the show has been over for about 6 months or so. END OF RANT

anyways ... on a happier note, i got 2 new pages of my zutara comic done. and i'll hopefully get them up thursday night. (i won't have a scanner till then). i'm also working on 2 other pics, you'll be surprised when you see them.

there is an art show coming up and i'm considering entering it, it's like a regional high school art show, i don't know my chances of winning anything but hey, i've gotta get some experience somewhere.

i have no idea what to enter, it can be traditional or digital, i've got till march to figure something out. if you have any ideas i'd love to heard them.

This was the first christmas i had with my parents separated. Spent the morning with my dad, and the rest of the day with my mom. I swear i ate my weight in chocolate! And i got great gifts, girly stuff(make-up, nail polish, jewelry.) A new stereo with ipod dock. DVDs (the onion movie, sweeny todd, phycho, mama mia). And i gots lots of drawing supplies and books. My little brothers got guitar hero world tour and it's awesome! (guitar hero and mario party are the only videogames i play).

And i totally made bank with cards. ^.^ so i'm definetley shopping this weekend.

For you guys waiting for my comic pages. I promise i'll get the next bunch up this weekend. Possibly tomorrow night. ^^

and with the new art supplies i got i'll definetly get some new art up soon!!!!!!!!

WHY IS EVERYONE HATING ON JESSE!?!?! He's an experienced actor as well as music artist. He's been acting longer than singing! I think that people need to welcome him and not insult him. His facial structure is perfect for Zuko. And he's NOT blonde! He recently died his hair dark brown for a role he played in the new movie "Keith". I STRONGLY recommend you go watch the trailer. He plays a physcho guy that tries to make people miserable. He's definetly surprising me with his acting abilities. I think he'll make a great Zuko. Also, you have to trust that the writers will give him the right lines, make-up and costume. No matter what, the movie WON'T match up with the series. But if you hate the idea from the beginning, then you're ruining it for yourself.

Katara: The actress looks waaaay to young, and pale.
Sokka: Hot but pale.
Aang: Let's just hope he looks like Aang and is like a freakin ninja.

I've revised my comic script again, so it will be about 23 -25 pages long. I hope to get it done before 2009.

My other art if coming slowly. I'm still just playing around with the different coloring and shading styles. Idk if i'll ever find "my style".

Well i've been really sick since about saturday. And I've missed school and stuff, and i finally went back today, so now i'm behind on school work too. To top it off I'm not going to have scanner priveleges for a week either.

Don't blame me, blame the universe, it hates me. T_________T

As for other art ... i have SO many ideas, fma, naruto, vampire knight, zutara, disney stuff, i just never follow through. Ugh, well after these two days It'll be thanksgiving break, so maybe i'll get some art done.

Expect updated pages of the comic in at least a week.

I've been planning on doing a zutara mini comic since the finale. I've got it all planned out, and I'm on page 5. I'm guessing it will be about 10 pages long. And I'll try to get the first few pages and cover up soon. I still need a name for it. But trust me ... it's worth the wait.

I've been doing Vampire Knight drawings the past few weeks and I'm getting better at the style. So hopefully i'll have more up within the next few weeks.

I have a few fullmetal alchemist drawings that need coloring and i'll try to get them colored. As well as a drawing that i've been coloring with photoshop. I'm taking a photoshop class at school so i'm slowly learning how to use it better.
