AHHH. i dont even sleep well on WEEKENDS. why can't there be more hours in a day?

i wish when i was little, i had a dream. like some people know right off the bat what they wanna be, like a doctor, or musician, or whatever. idk what i wanna be. and it really bothers me. cuz i figure, you gotta know what you wanna do when you grow up, to know what to do in college. i'm still so stuck...

but anyway, we got the new super mario bros today. it was pretty fun! with the multiplayer thing, you can bounce on your friends' heads XDDD

oh, and i finished the amber spyglass. BEST SERIES EVER (his dark materials) ending was kinda sad, but i loved it! new favorite books C:

finals are this week (FUNNN) i like finals week cuz the teachers give you no hw cept STUDY!!
the only thing i gotta worry about is earth science. math and apush not so much.
grrrrrr I HATE having a sub teach you science. cuz sometimes, you feel controversial because of differing points of view (like what way does wind deflect?) and she looks at the answer key and gets confused. HATE THIS CLASSS. ITS ALMOST OVER (YESSSS)

i feel like i like the inbetween kh games better than the ones with the actual plot. you dont have to constantly fight random disney bosses.. (loveya disney, but too lazy to fight random bosses....)

so today, i was excited this morning. i was gonna be in the lunch with half my friends (cuz i'm in the lunch that cuts partway through 3rd hour, and i had a test in that class today. the teachers dont want you to test, then eat and discuss, then continue the test) and have a great time.

well i was WRONGGG

cuz during that period of lunch, i had an encounter with this FREAKIN ANNOYING PERSON FROM A FEW YEARS BACK. cuz shes a freshman now. and ive been trying to avoid her. and now i cannot.
so i am NOT excited to go back to school cuz she will be waiting.
its like i'm paranoid about this personal stalker now.
because thats almost true.

and in most of my classes, i sit by people who arent in the same grade as me, and theyre not really great friends of mine (some classes theyre kinda friends/aquantances) and at lunch, i have no one to sit by except which isnt a bad thing, but i dont know anyone else at that table.

and band has been taking up loads of time. i love it lots, but i'm ready for the season to end.

i'm sorry for sounding like a depressed child when i really shouldnt...

and last weekend, i was at my cousins' house. for some reason have 2 xbox360s, so he, his sister, my brother, and i all played halo 3 campaign on legendary difficulty. it was so hard and so fun. during one level, we decided to only speak chinese, so we'd be yelling at the screen in chinese and making stuff up with bad english translation when we had no idea how to say it. twas funnnnn.

i can wait for school.

gonna type a longggg journal...

so the daily schedule for band camp was
-wake up and eat breakfast, 7:00~8:00~
-morning rehersal, 9:00~11:30
-lunch, 12:00~
-sectionals/ensemble rehersal 1:00~3:30
-break 3:30~5:00
-dinner 5:15~
-evening rehersal 6:00~9:00
-activity then sleep.

SOOOOOO
marching band consists of learning 'sets'. each individual member has to march to certain spots on the football field (duh) and we learn these with drill charts. the charts show a big picture with lotsa dots. everyone is a certain dot and each page shows where to go.
morning rehersal = learn your spots.
sectionals/ensemble rehersal = get better at the music.
evening rehersal = PUT IT ALL TOGETHER

ok.
so on wednesday, its supposed to be the most dreadful day, cuz its the middle of the week and youre supposed to have stuff down, the director screams at the flags until they get it right, yadayadayada..
but for and me, wednesday was FLAT OUT HILARIOUS.

during ensemble time, i guess it was the trumpets' day to show their spirit, so most of them wear bright orange shirts, and their leader brought neon orange duct tape. some of them stick it on their shirts and whatnot. so our band director was like 'hey, i want some tape too!' and he sticks this giant orange T on his shirt. then, sparkiih and i were distracted by it. we start shouting words that start with t like 'TORNADO!' 'TELEVISION!' 'TONE!' 'TRUMPETS!' and she shouts 'TERRORISM!!!!' we started cracking up then and there.

and after that, the directer tells us that the act II charts will be in the blue room during break. (we use a YMCA camp facility and one of the rooms in the main building is called the ' blue room' so sparkiih and i go roaming around during break. the director hadnt put the charts out yet, so we explored the blue room. there was this little shelf of random childrens books, so i was like 'HEY! lets read one!' so we grab this disney abc's book. it shows little pictures of disney characters that start wth similar letters next to each other and stuff. so i found this passage that showed this fox dude that fell into a pond and there was a frog next to it. the text said 'how many f words can you say?' and sparkiih goes 'oh i know one..' and we just died laughing.

later at evening rehersal, i almost cried.
not because it was hard or anything.
but it was so freakin funny.

so we're marching and stuff, and for some reason, i feel realllly constipated. yeah. i thought to myself, 'no, i definitely ate fiber..' so i ran to the bathroom a few times. it was annoying, but i felt better. we practiced some more, and my intestines decided to mess with me some more. i thought to myself, 'YEAH, I DEFINITELY ATE FIBER' cuz i felt like i really had to go. again. but i didnt want to keep running from rehersal cuz that would seem weird, so i held it in and kept marching. we generally go through each set one by one, and then go throught the whole show. the directer told us to go over the whole first act. right when i got to my first set i felt like 'OCRAP. I CANT TAKE THIS.' so i went through the whole first act thinking 'crap.crap.crap.crap.crap.' like litterally though. when we finished, i just bolted to the bathroom. i almost cried cuz it was so painfull....... never again.... x______________X
but my friends reactions were hilarious when i told this story

after marching band, we took a quick vacation to a nearby city. so i got back yesterday and yeah..

only a few more weeks of august

band camp this coming week. gonna SWEAT MY SKIN OFFF. but itl be worth it. or else.

huh.

finished FREAKIN ALGEBRA II OYEAH.
and i passed segment I of drivers ed. with a 69/80 on the test (ooooops....) gotta get a lvl 1 license or whatever soon.
driving is funnn. >8D

so august will be relaxing after band camp. i think. besides the random summer reading crap i gotta finish.

so a few days after school got out, i went to camp. it was AWESOME. i plan to go back next year. it was a service program but we also did camp activities. i really liked serving though. our group got to serve small children at meal times. it was fun cuz there was random music and we had random dance parties but slightly gross cuz of cleaning up food after children.

then, this past week, we had a family reunion. most of the people from my mom's side came over, giving us a total of 13 people. we ate so much.. i think i gained a few pounds *pats belly*

im way too lazy for details......

the boss fight ended up being a piece of cake cuz my brother trained tidus A LOT while i was at camp. yayyy training

so i got x-2. its really random. and its funny changing outfits randomly in battle. i'm not used to the battle system, but owell.

my brought warioware, and it is HILARIOUS to watch other people play. if you ever have time, play it.

hopefully, by the end of this week, i'll post new stuff...

so on friday, i went to 's house. twas funnnnnnn. we played lotsa piano. gooood stuff.

on saturday, my gramma came to stay!! idk how long she'll be here, but i'm glad she is here.

sunday was kinda eh. i attempted to do hw, that failed. i ended up going to a friend's house for some pot luck. we played lotsa speed scrabble. it is a FUN game.

being in the marching band, we paraded at the parade (orly??) and we had to wear our UNIFORMS. i know most bands have to, but last year we got to wear a tshirt and shorts. it started out ok, cuz it was cold, but it got HOT afterwards. We had to stand for a while, to play god bless america and the star spangled banner for these policeman awards, and some people fell down because of dehydration and whatnot. one person said 'Who says band isnt hard???!' it was kinda scary though. people just suddenly went down. good thing it was the memorial day parade with all the firetrucks and stuff. one girl got to sit on a stretcher.

tennis ends this week. it was really short, but im too excited for marching band!!! (lol bandgeek )

and nemf on saturday was AMAZING. oddly enough, it was the first dance i went to this year, and people were like 'WHAT? YOU DIDNT GO TO HOMECOMING????????!?!?' and i didnt. cuz i didnt feel like it. but TECHNO FTW.

we got back from our spring break trip on friday. it was quite fun. was at dc. the smithsonian national natural history museum was THE BEST MUSEUM EVER. so much random stuff to see, so interesting.

and my brother got call of duty world at war for the wii, and it sucks cuz they dont have some of the modes that are in the other systems.. THEY DONT EVEN HAVE A SPLITSCREEN so i havent tried it.

i made the team.

conditioning is hard.

so today was our first practice. we played a few sets, and had to do conditioning. because i was very lazy throughout winter, i was VERY out of shape. we jogged some, sprinting when the coach told us to and idk how long that was. i felt dead.

or so i thought.

she made us do lunges. across 3 courts, and then back.

OW.

i couldnt really feel anything from my butt down.

and i wont be able to get up tommorow.

I FINALLY BEAT CHAIN OF MEMORIES!!!!!!!!

so i had to grab the gamecube and use the gameboy player cuz using a gba is quite hard to move with... so i beat axel (YES).
then went to maruluxia. he really scares me, with his flowery pink scythe. O_____O
then, another machine to beat. in kh, there seems to be a pattern of beating people on machines last... owell. he got pwned too. (more flowery goodness...)

so yeah.

and i was tryin to beat ffx yesterday. i walked through sin a bit, and i got to YET ANOTHER seymour fight. seymour guado really scares me... and this is like the what, 5th fight with him? he NEVER dies. we killed him, but he didnt move on... (something weird with the story.....)

this was the most UN CHRISTMAS CHRISTMAS IVE EVER HAD.
cuz i was in kaosiung (city in southern taiwan) where it was SUMMER HOT. and we ate no form of cristmas food whatsoever. it was great.

and i didnt get any new presents... but my uncle gave me his old camera!! so thats fun to use. but i swear, he buys a new camera every year... O_o

ive been stuck against riku(4) for sometime now, and i had to beat him. so i looked up how to beat him AND I DID IT. i was like 'YESSSSSSS OMG I BEAT HIM!!!!11!!1!1' and everyone around me was like 'O_o" ok......' yes.

but then, the guide said you were supposed to go back and save before the next battle, and it said that if you didnt, then good luck to you.. and i was so excited that i FORGOT TO SAVE. but i won the next fight with some cardbreaking and some mad button pressing.

yeah, so i was a happy camper yesterday. XDDDDD

started on saturday.

so on saturday, i entered this azn art contest thing, which too place from like 10 till 12:30 ish. right after that, i went to chinese school and after that right to this choir practice thingy thats at night and lasts till 11 pm ish.

sunday, i looked around for some stuff i could use to make my costume, and i found it. then we went to a movie. when we got back, i carved my pumpkin. its gi-normous and i carved a "福" in it. (maybe i'll post a piccy) i was gonna try carving something else, but it was too hard and i gave up (there was space on that pumpkin for like 3 designs). that took from the afternoon till 10:30

monday was my day of music spasms. after marching band came band rehersal, cuz of the practice on wednesday. that lasted from after school till 6:30 ish. then i had to go to piano lessons at 8:45 pm.

on tuesday, i got to sleep in cuz of a late start. that was fun. kinda forgot what i did the rest of the day.

BOMB THREAT AGAIN. when second hour almost ended, the pa came on and they were like 'we need a building lockdown so teachers, lock your doors.' i was like oh whatever but our door doesnt lock (yeah, the HANDLE locks, but you can still yank the door open )... then a few minutes later, they were like 'we need to evacuate everyone' and i was like WTF. that morning, i was thinking about bringing my ipod to school, but i was like 'naahh. im not gonna need it.' AH HAH HAH. WELL I GUESS I WAS WRONG THERE. so we all had to suffer an hour-ish of cold, then we went to the church next door. when it was finally over, we had 3rd hour and finished the day. at night, we had a BAND CONCERT. it went pretty well, but it was like 3 hrs long.

today (thursday), marching band had a field trip from before school till around 5th hour. we finished before 4TH HOUR and the teach couldnt excuse us from all 5 hrs. no one remembered to bring backpacks, so we were all like omg.. and half the people skipped. i didnt, cuz i was gonna have a test 5th hr, and because of the bomb threat, it was postponed till tomorow....

1. the book is heavy. kills my back. people have heavier i know, but still. it annoys me. and we cant have classroom copies and home copies. it sucks.
2. i hate the subject. it is useless. im never going to have to prove why 2 triangles are congruent. if i am, then i would use a protracter and a ruler. if they're not drawn to scale (the teach says you cant assue they're up to scale) then they're NOT CONGRUENT. and we have to write out the freakin reasons. no point in that. we write more in geometry than english. its sad.
3. this dude i HATE. HATE WITH EVERY OUNCE OF MY EXISTENCE. hes suspended right now. i wish he was suspended from life. or expelled from life. or suspended from the top of a scyscraper then dropped. its violent, but thats exactly what he deserves.

on some more positive notes..

I FINISHED BRISINGR!!! it was sweet. but now we have to wait for the 4th book. DX

and im really addicted to these 'escape room' games. you are in a room, and you click stuff and find hints and etc to escape. i always use the walkthrough, but its still fun XDDD

the first day, some of the trucks didnt come, so we were like 3 hours delayed. on the bus there, my friend had the book Twilight, so i was reading that. it was pretty interesing. i didnt finish it.

every day, i burned to death, and had some bathroom issues. the band director made us drink tons of water, so i kept running to the bath room. i havent drank that much water since 5th grade. every day, at night, i felt like my left shoulder was gonna fall off because of holding my flute up. my arms were so sore during the sets. the songs we played were Money by Pink Floyd Imagine by John Lenon.

and i met some fellow avatards there, so we were having this intense 'geek talk' of some other anime stuff as well. twas funneh. i also started drawing a pic there, cuz i really wanted to, and i'm gonna finish it.

geez it just feels so good to be home. my eyesight during camp was like super 20/20 cuz i had no computer XDDD but so much for that now XP

Because it was my b-day some time this week, i got We <3 Katamari and Rune Factory. i've been spazzing around katamari and using it as motivation in volleyball. YAYZ!!! havent opened rune factory yet.

its been my first new year at this house and the first in America for a while now. for the past 4 ish new years, i've been watching it in taiwan, where they count down on 101 and they have a sweet fireworks show. i think its kinda better than the ball drop...... no offense America.....
but yeah, looking back, it was an overall fun year. lots of friends, lots of new stuff. I joined DA last year, and its been fun since then. Read lots of manga and watched some anime, good times.
i've gotta improve this next year. that'l be my goal. improve a lot and i get to start it out with that tablet.

actually, i was just looking at the best buy site, searching up tablets, and i was like 'ooh, its on sale' and i asked my parents for it and they were like 'sure' so the day after xmas, we went to best buy and got one. i wanted a white one, but they only had the black one. its a bamboo fun
it wasnt on sale at the store, so my dad went to bargaining with the best buy people... hes weird like that...

tablet means more digital art for me. all i've been doing in my free time is fooling with PHOTOSHOP and PAINTER so happy.

got me a watercolor kit. i'll use it soon. i gotta open it and get some watercolor paper XD

i have a few things i want to scan, but my scanner isnt up and running yet. i gotta get that done.

i have not played ddr in so long... i suck now.. heavy is hard now, it used to be easier.

i went bowling today, and i sucked x____x

i've been knitting too, cuz i found a scarf that was already started.

last friday, i officially beat the main storyline of phantom hourglass. yayness! i think it took like 5 weeks ish (i didnt play every day, mostly only weekends), the fastest i've ever beat a game!! it was fun, maybe cuz i dont play many rpgs. now i'll prolly train in my pearl version for the next while.

Today, at school we had to take this ACT explore test, and it was very annoying because it was from like 11:10ish to 2:20 ish. we didnt have half of our usual classes but i think i still have to do the assigned hw.
and tomorow people are goin to washington dc for a field trip. that screws up the schedule even more. at least we prolly wont have too much hw. i'm not goin.

i'll submit some pics of my ceramics projects if i remember to. they are sweet, but also are kinda screwy...

in basketball, i twisted my ankle (I dont know if its twisted our sprained, one or the other). and it reeeeeeally hurts. i dont know if i can still play. i have to keep an ice pack next to it and i have to walk with a ski pole.

i was watching fma like last saturday on tv, and i saw the intro and i was like... he looks like tsunade. yeah, minus the boobs and stuff i mean face. same bangs, same color eyes, and yep blonde hair. if ed's hair was in pigtails, it would be tsunade.

its kinda sad. i draw more at school than over like the whole summer. i just need to scan it all

school finally started. on tuesday. boo hoo.
my teachers are all nice i guess. but my band teacher, he gave us a playing test today!!! on the 4th day of school!!! grr

i cant get my camera's memory stick to load onto the computer. stinkin technology.

i really like konan right now. probably because she uses origami, which is awesome.

i tried out for the basketball team, but the coach wont tell us who made it till monday. he said he'd tell us today but he decided that he needed the weekend to think it over. grr now i gotta try out monday too.
