This past Halloween at the Long Beach Comic con I had some scrolls for sale. I got a lot of compliments on these (as well as some good sales!) So I've made a few more if anyone wants one.

These are scrolls made from heavy cardstock, then I use various methods to artificially age it - watercolors, acrylic, teabags, coffee grounds, soy sauce, etc. Whole thing is then protected with a coat of modge podge. The resulting scroll looks like it's been scribbled in squid ink on stretched human skin and hidden away in a deep dank cave for a thousand  years.

Last June I was contacted by a producer about using one of my pieces in a TV show about Mothman. I said yes, emailed over a few contracts, and pretty much forgot about the whole thing. According to the contract it was a "maybe" kind of thing, so I didn't get my hopes up. My man Drangonsmana has brought it to my attention that in fact the pic made it, and it's up on a preview for a show on Animal planet.

Anyway, I'm kicking around a few long term projects, which would you rather see from me? I would like to eventually do all of these (eventually,) rather which should I concentrate on first?

Yesterday I was using an ATM that I have used many times before in a CVS Pharmacy by my work. This time though the machine reset itself, right after I had entered my number in. I thought that was kinda strange. I watched it for a few minutes as it went up through it's boot cycle (which it ran OS 2 warp, for some reason.) All of the angry rants that were formally hosted on my main site Hawanja.com have been moved there, and will soon be removed from the other site.

Why have I bothered to do this? Main reason is Hawanja.com was meant to be about the webcomic but as time went on it evolved more and more into a bad personal homepage.
