Cosmic Canvas is a band I decided to make when Photoshop and Drawing began to bore me my freshman year in college. Don't get me wrong, I love them but it's hard to stay occupied with one thing for long (I am 17).
I love making music (despite my lack of experience) just to satisfy my whims and to pass the time. Feel free to listen to my first creation: Itza Rainin'

This song encompasses the hope and inspiration I derive from rain... Oh, just read the description I said it much better there.

Hey! It's taken me three weeks to finish this and I hope you enjoy it.

How would you draw Techno? How would you get it to come out of a pen? Some colorful type of Daft Punk-powered-flowing-ink-circuits or something like that?... this is what I came up with.

It's been a while but I am finally back on DA. I've been working on designing/coding a personal website which has not been absorbing most of my time. It would be up right now were it not for some domain issues. RAWR!

I have finally completed the "How It Feels To Know You" series! I put a ton of emotion and time into it and it is done! It somehow provides a kind of sense of accomplishment to me, although I'm not sure why but what-the-hey, a rose by any name would smell just as sweet nez paux?

While I am also quite sure my use of the just prior phrase was marginally related let alone near impossibly applicable, my heinously put statement still stands, yet to be corrected, blah. I'm done writing a rather nonsensical tome of personal stuff since I don't think anyone would read it anyway... do you?

If you see an artist's work there that you personally know, try to contact them.
Apparently, somebody is stealing people's work and selling them as prints. Or trying to, anyway. You're not going to get anywhere close to a decent print quality from a downloaded jpeg.
What makes it even more audacious is that this person took the time to 'rate' all the stolen images. It just adds insult to injury, in my opinion.
Come on, people. i'm going to disable downloading of images from here on. i don't need shit getting stolen from me. the stuff they took from me sucks anyway, i mean, what the hell? this is so bizarre."

I totally agree with everything luxvelveteen has to say. An artist's work is an extension of their soul and someone besides that artist selling it (especially over the internet) is absolutely obscene. I hope for his/her sake that "Emo 2" has a change of heart and comes clean.
And gets hit by a bus... Well no, just repents... or at least has to comes to terms with what they have done and has to deal with all the artist they stole from as well as its legal consequences.

School is almost out and it's sooo hot here in California. Just opening a window requires protective heat gear. Despite this unfortunate climate, the fact that it will soon be summer (AKA "No School for Three Months... YEA!") is a relief.

I'm still trying to find other people interested in Graphic Design to talk to, just cuz I don't know what the heck I should be doing right now.

I just finished watching the first season of "Ghost in the Shell Standalone Complex". What an AMAZING anime. It was so profound and thought provoking it blew my mind. Finally an anime that isn't lame and doesn't have really lame cel shading. The Laughing Man Rocks!

Speaking of "The Laughing Man" (just LM for future reference) I just read the short story "The Laughing Man" that the LM Standalone Complex story arc was based on written by J.D. Salinger. I'm no literature geek, but that was one of the most amazing stories I have ever read. I could actually see the story like a video of the story in my head, it was so descriptive. He also wrote "Catcher in the Rye" (which I read, and it really sucked) where the quote that appears on the LM's logo "What I thought I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes".

If there's a Laughing Man fan club, please let me know cuz Aoi rocks!!!
