Good news: My Alice in Wonderland photo series (it'll be displayed on here after the opening) is going to be exhibited at the Aloft Hotel in San Antonio, TX. For more information see [link] in the coming days, where the featured artist will switch to me.

In other news, thanks to everyone who's favorited my work or watched me in this past week or so. It's nice to come back to DA with such great feedback.

New goal: 10,000 pageviews!! That'd be like, super sweet. Super super sweet.

Oh! And I want to do this challenge in PHOTOS. Why not? It'll stretch the good ol' creative muscle.

Here it is:
The point of this challenge is to test and improve your skill as an artist. After 100 pictures, who wouldn't be better?

A Journal Again!

So I decided to give this journal thing a try since the skins thing seems pretty neat and this skin is cute and adorable... past that, unfortunately, I don't have very much to say. Wishing I had a better camera - the Nikon D60 adds a RIDICULOUS amount of noise if you put the ISO anywhere above 100, but even with the ISO at 100, getting the image lit properly is like trying to find Jesus. Anyone have a layman's way to explain Nikon and their speedlights in reference to ISO? I'll keep hunting through confusing and expensive photography books...

And I'll be posting makeup tutorials... at some point. In the future. I promise. I've got me some certification! Yay.
