YES I would like to know of good tutorials please. There are good ones I've spotted but god there is really so many D8

So do you guys know of good tutorials? There are so many D8 I just don't know what to look at.
I'd like stuff along the lines of

CG tutorial
Cel-shade tutorial
toning tutorial (digi-tone)
outline tutorial (especially for thin lines!)
comic/manga page layout tutorials (do they exist)

Basically I want to improve on skills and stuff. Manga like tutorials would be excellent cos my dreams may be dead in the water now =A= but drawing a manga has always been an ambition and layout is what I struggle with most DX. If I can get the hang of page layout maybe I can get somewhere.

With this in mind give me some manga recommendations please. You can even recommend shojo -____- I'm looking particularly for manga with
Demons
Zombies
school setting
present time buildings etc

Obviously doesn't have to be all in one manga (which is why shojo is appropriate.)
If you know of school manga not set in Japan it would be especially helpful as I'm going off my school memory right now XD
As for demons and zombies etc yes yes I know kuroshitsuji and Hellsing (maybe Persona)
anything else?

This is because my manga idea combines those things. It's hard to summarise right now and I'd like to keep it secretive still XD. Any help/recs would be great!

I love the band anyway but they have completely outdone themselves with this! Freaking god awesome amazing and it's just so great for me a fan who's followed them for the most part of their career and been able to see them grow continue to feel this level of impressed awe at their releases XD. Not many bands do that these days, dauto's CARNIVAL world *gay title is gay* has a lot to live up to XD.
I'd totally recommend it to fans of harder visual kei. Girugamesh also blend rap and techno in their releases these days too.

I tend to think I specialise mostly in anime style male characters as well as chibi's of all kinds. Chibi's are something I can draw all the time and have no problems with.
It's not impossible to draw females I just prefer guys in somewhat bishounen styles.
I also specialise in a lot of visual kei band fanart and obviously influenced character design.

Most notably I'm an avid D=OUT (visual kei band) fanartist, my artwork has even been acknowledged and appraised by the members of the band themselves on a few occassions |D

Original Characters:
I'm 100% in approval of original character art and would be happy to have a go at drawing your character.

Fanart:
I'm first and foremost an original character artist and supporter (excluding my bandboys) so try to avoid drawing fanart myself, therefore I will only take a fanart commission if the character/series is one I like/am interested in.
When it comes to visual kei fanart whoever I'd be happy to do it.

shounen ai:
This is the closest you'll get to yaoi from me. Believe me I would like to draw yaoi I am a fan of it XD but it's too difficult for me I'm afraid.

anthro:
I will not draw full anthro. The reason is because I'm not that great an animal artist and I really just dislike anthro. When you dislike something it's pretty hard to have enthusiasm for that thing.

Outfits:
People often say they would wear my characters clothes. If you have characters with wild, rebellious punky personalities or are bandmen etc and you just can't get the costumes or outfits right I'd be happy to help.
If somebody wishes me to design a costume it will only belong to that character meaning you won't see it on any of mine/other characters etc and best it will come from one of the fictional brands in my oc universe as worn by my bandmen characters from fictional band GateCrasher XD.

Comic strips etc:
I am a fan of gag strips and have been known to make them gaining some sort of weird infamous popularity status in the J-rock fandom where almost everyone has seen one of my comics o_O
If you would like me to draw a comicstrip you must provide a script or at the least a general idea of what you want and have regular contact with me to discuss it's progress.
At this moment in time I regret I can't help you with a full manga.

-Details-

How to go about commissioning me.

1. If you are interested send me a note
2. In the note please highlight what you'd like me to draw, your price range and any piece in my gallery you feel would be adequately suited for your commission. It could be for style or cg etc. It's preferable you provide a price range because I don't like feeling I overcharged/undercharged you.
3. After the general info has been discussed decided and you still want a commission you MUST provide reference.
4. Depending on what you've commissioned a WIP will or will not be shown (eg. chibi will not have a WIP whereas a CG will)
5. Payment must be sent beforehand. For a small project it's best to send in full for a larger project (eg CG) I advise sending half before and half later.
6. The finished product will be noted or e-mailed back to you after payment is received in full.
7. Traditional media work can be sent by mail for a small extra fee if requested.

Important: I can't stress enough that reference is needed, preferably more than 1 reference. Also please keep in regular contact I don't appreciate being ignored when I'm drawing for you.

Fandoms I'm part of are doing my head in right now >: well mostly they're music related but god the butthurt and petty wank that goes on over a bands look DX. Right now this is going on with my fav band dauto/D=OUT. People you never see giving a rats ass about them are suddenly all CAPSLOCK I HATE IT THEY LOOK GAY TOO MUCH PHOTOSHOP!!
Dude every band is photoshopped to hell in the case of dauto Aoi Tori the last look could not be more photoshopped. Honestly I think Kouki looks gay.
Gay as in GAY not slang type for stupid etc, outfit is very nice but the the girly look doesn't suit him -[link] [link] but I'll keep that to my journals and myself thanks not rant about it in every community etc.

This kind of crap goes on with practically every fandom going just the funniest thing with band fandoms is most people don't think about how these are real people who mostly look completely different under all the makeup and fancy clothes not like with games and manga characters who are already designed. In Kouki's case he looks different without makeup and has just awful awful skin XD and his fashion sense is just urgh XD awful. But people of course only think of them as they are in the band which is probably why the new look doesn't bug me as much as it should (apart from him actually looking like a woman this time when I'm always saying you can tell he's a man) plus I draw Kouki tooo much anyway so am having hiatus from drawing him XD or trying to.

Sooo I'm looking to get back into the OC manga scene |D because when it's your own creations there's no need to think god they look gay unless you make them so XD. The only annoyance and disappointments with the characters are your own doing. It's the easiest way to play god mwah ha ha ha.
I think I said it before but GateCrasher characters are not manga material so don't expect them. But I wanna draw their various looks it's just having them not turn out like crap DX

In other news Girugamesh's album is out this week /O/ really can't wait to hear it that's one band fanbase that lacks drama and wank.

Anyway...
YES I did go to Japan in October. It was really an experience and month that I'll remember for a long time. The concerts, the cities, the people, food etc you name it. The only thing I'd liked to have done was visit more places outside of Tokyo, I'd love to have gone Kyoto and saw more of Osaka. I visited Osaka briefly (for a concert *cough*) well Esaka to be precise but Esaka was so nice XD so yeah I wish I could have visited more outside of Tokyo.
I'd have loved to see some shrines and such in Kyoto

I stayed in Numabukuro which is in Nakano area and very convenient to get to Shinjuku from. Nakano was also only a 10 minute walk and Takadanobaba was super easy to get to from there too.
I loved Numabukuro a lot too it was really such a nice place to be imo. Well most shops were book and flower shops XD but it was a very cute small place.

I think I'd have to be in Japan a long time to adjust to Shibuya XD that place is freaking huge! I got lost each time I went there and once was for a live URGH incidentally it was a live on Kouki's birthday which dauto were also at |D but I can blab about dauto later because I think it's obvious I watched their shows there.

Ikebukuro is also big XD and yup got lost too. In general all the cities are so big XD it was such a thing to come from UK to Japan. So many different things yet stuff felt like home for some reason too. Not especially the cities and such more the fashions and people and stuff. It was a lot like how people act or dress here :/ if that makes sense.

I would say Harajuku was my favourite place not because it's such a visual clothes paradise meh no I didn't buy any such stuff I was surprised by the clothes I liked there. Wonder Rocket was my favourite shop by far X3 very surprising because the stuff is so girly! It was also one of the cheaper places |D good for me. But yeah I liked the atmosphere of harajuku, there was nothing better than shopping and then eating a crepe whilst wondering the streets.
It was nice just to walk around at night, Japan is a city of night XD so alive and such atmosphere.

Well yeah I loved my time there and didn't want it to end obviously. I became addicted to the breads food wise XD omg melon bread I am missing it now and also melon soda mmmmm. Why do we not get melon soda?! Fanta do it so we should have it D: but it was the breads I ate most days. Oh I had Japanese stuff obviously too gyudon, okonomiyaki, teriyaki, ahh dammit what else XD I forgot the names but yeah I tried to eat Mcdonalds etc as little as I could. I only ate it twice and once in Sendai for breakfast which was strange D8 sweetest most WTF bread I've ever had. It was really weird XD I didn't know if it was good or not. In general the bread anyway was sweeter pity the chocolate wasn't XD. I got back to UK and was greeted with cadburys and omg XD a month without it and it was like too sickly for me XD;
We brits sure do have some of the richest sweetest chocolate XD

I saw loads of bands X3 and most were awesome some more than others even though dauto are my boys and I saw all their shows whilst I was there (all but 1 stupid secret band crap DX) ViViD, UnsraW and irokui probably made the biggest impressions on me *were not counting dauto here XD they are always good* I'll tell you who I saw anyway some of them I saw a whole bunch of times. Anyway typically I want to draw and CG really bad but in the grand scheme of things my laptop has decided to be a whore and DX.
Basically the past week I've had to run it in safe mode it's been so bad =A= crashing and freezing constantly yet there'sno virus or spyware and no sign of a corrupted file so wtf.

Personally think it's because the vista service pack 2 won't install -_- so it's maybe causing problems.

Anyway so now you know why I've been inactive *well nothing new really*
Hopefully will be able to do stuff soon |D

Also I've been planning it for a while and still am but I'm hoping to finally go Japan in October /o/ naturally to see my beloved favourite band =w= already I'd get to see them 3 times and well I bought a ticket for their final just in case I'd get to go and super lucky me only got an A5 ticket D8!!

Brief explanation of Japan lives = you're let into the venue by the letter and number on your ticket. A, B, C obviously A is the best and ranges from 1-300+ depending on the band. To get an A ticket you need to pre-order. Some bands run a lottery ticket system *such as this time round tickets were designated randomly* this is kind of unfair but fair at the same time. It's unfair if you buy your ticket super early and possibly the first but it's fair if you get a pre-ordered ticket last minute.

It really is what you'd call a lottery and yeah luck was on my side XD. With such a great ticket wah need to go ;A;
I also if this plan works out will totally go to the V-rock festival too and the AREA halloween special.
Also Kouki has such an incredibly dumb and embarrassing idea for an event that I kind of want it to become real XD; and also go to that.

Hopefully if things work I'll book stuff in the coming weeks /o/ but ahh I just really want to go D: so wish me luck XD. I'll cry if I don't go and have a freaking A5 ticket for my fav band >:

Anyway update of sorts. I saw Girugamesh in May the band were awesome the fans sucked balls well 1 group of them did fucking kerrang reader mosh men DX who did it to every song (even ishtar and puzzle!) and slammed into everyone without caring.

They ruined the show for me I'm afraid though I did get to meet ~Hachiko8 |D so it wasn't all bad. They also played Alive and Gamble the new songs X3 and I bought their CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY DVD before it was even out in Japan which btw is an amazing DVD especially the 2nd disk. I dunno when I've laughed as hard XD.

Next month D'espairs Ray will be in Manchester *A* so I'll be there. Seems July is a good month for a change as my b'day is July I usually hate it but I have a concert and dauto's (D=OUT) cover album which looks and sounds awesome |D (and also very cheesy pv XD [link]) and a hevn with them on the cover to look forward to.

I'm still planning on going Japan in October just I am really so indecisive D: so I dunno which date to go and come back because there's 2 things I don't want to miss that are somewhat apart.

Sorry I've not been drawing much really -o- and my connection has been so AWFUL it's unbelievable so I've not actually been on much.

Anyway last month I finally got to see my boys (I call dauto/d=out my boys) live ;A;
If you can't tell I friggin love this band so much it should be illegal XD. They are my priority when it comes to music, releases and whatever else and just really no band has ever grabbed me like they have.

Anyway yeah they came to Europe and I got to go to 3 shows. I am aware I am incredibly biased because everything they do is just amazing XD but it really was the best live I've ever been at!!

They played all my fav songs for one thing JAPANESE DOGEZA, bankoku dai tokyo, akai kasa to anata, ginza adventure, flashback, crawl, goku, GOLDEN MAN etc ;A; and the new songs omg D: tattoo live is so good but just yeah they blew me away XD.

I don't think a band has ever been as friendly overseas as they were. We weren't just foreign fans we were FANS. Kouki even explained everything they do in Japan so we could do it *A*

Well I'm going to post my report sometime at my lj so you can read it there but there's some things I can mention.

Firstly the venues were TINY I've never been as close to a band ever D8 the gap between barrier and stage was so small, in Netherlands friggin hell there was no barrier. Of all bands I'm happy it was them. I had such good luck too because it was like...

Berlin - 3rd row Kouki
Utrecht - 1st row Kouki D8 now that was amazing.

They wore myoujou orion costumes, honestly I don't like that look but it wasn't bad live and it was better cos Kouki didn't have his stupid brown hair and bun XD it was sandy blonde in a faux hawk style (style he currently has for hanasaka beauty) and really just looked amazing. Reika also looked damn good with his spikyish white hair instead of the pineapple head XD. Also my god is Reika a gorgeous man *A* people often see him as the ugly member and he's not photogenic but in person he is just so handsome especially when he has no makeup on, I was and am still shocked XD. They are all handsome guys in person without makeup, sometimes bands need the makeup XD but they didn't. Ibuki and Minase for 1 hardly looked any different and yeah Kouki is still tall in person XD he was taller than some of the staff even XD but it's so weird cos of his proportions he has such thin legs XD and his body shape is just yeah so thin and triangular (it was hot XD)

Anyway I was surprised because I didn't expect their lives to be so hard XD. I associate them as an easy listening jazzy kinda band but wow the lives were pretty intense with headbanging, death voice and growls/roars from Kouki and they were going mad themselves XD. You should see Reika when he headbangs holy crap and Kouki is pretty whoa too. They were so interactive my god D8 Kouki had us doing furi and clapping along a lot we'd follow his lead basically. He reached out loads too and would high five you XD and he must have thought screw this at some point cos he'd get off stage between the gap and barrier and dive at the bar so he was almost in the first row! Because I was always in his vision I got plenty of attention from him XD. He could be so flirty lol.
No matter where you were stood you'd get to see all the members because they often switched around.

What made them most interactive than any band I've seen though was how he tried to really talk to us. Bands come and all you'll get is 'We are *insert band*' or 'I wanna see a cirlce pit' (No Satoshi XD!) not dauto. Kouki has bad English but I admired him so much because of how hard he tried and how he didn't give up. I suppose his English isn't REALLY awful but it was still hard to understand most likely cos of his accent. It was bad but cute XD and I noticed he seemed to get better by each venue until in Utrecht I could understand him.

But yeah he really spoke to us and said the cutest things XD about how happy he was to be there, about their stuff in Japan, about how beautiful the fans were (lol) and getting the other members involved too. It shows how amazing he is that he went to the trouble of learning 'my name is Kouki' and 'I love you' in each language without cue cards. He didn't even use cards for his English so really I just found it admirable XD.
I loved Kouki before and knew he was a nice guy but the tour confirmed it he really is so sweet and enjoyed it so much. But anyway long story short we have a spare place in our hostel room in Cologne if anybody is going and looking for accomodation. My friend pulled out so we need to find another ;A;
The concert is on 18th April at Die Werkstatt Cologne Germany. It's their first overseas tour and all the venues are tiny *¬*

Conditions are

*you'd need to arrive the 17th (one day before) - 19th
*need to be a dauto fan/have listened to them and not just somebody going for the hell of it
*need to speak English for my sake XD

I've wanted to draw but fucking hell DX getting so annoyed lately if it's not one thing it's another. Between having to type loads of shit up for my mums job (a childminder) and getting not so much as a thanks I've also had to tidy and paint windows for her too DX. So basically there's been no time to draw cos she's taken to stealing my room as well ¬¬ so I have to share with my sister who goes bed at like 10 -o- yes annoyed.

Mostly I've been playing Okami for the wii and watching anime |D One Piece and Gintama ftw but yes XD I've been ensnared by the black butler like everybody else too. Hyped and overly bumloved anime puts me off but kuro shitsuji is too cool XD and I really love Sebastian and the Undertaker *O*. The costumes just win so much XD. Can we expect NON J-rock fanart? I think there is a high possibility |D

Actually I've been wanting to draw some Gintama as well and Perona from One Piece for some reason x: but now yes XD kuro shitsuji fanart is needed. One thing with Sebastian though XD dammit he looks like how I'd imagine one of my characters I've never drawn successfully enough to post here so when I do manage a good pic I'm gonna have to change him XD.

I wrote everything on my livejournal which I'm far more active on than here D: so I don't really want to bring everything up again and will just write about the basics.

She died in her sleep so there was no pain. The whole of our family was there so she died in the company of loved ones even though she was sleeping I'm sure she knew we were all there.

My aunt was the best person in the world to me. The kindest friendliest person you'd ever meet. She was always there for me and never told me my hobbies and things I like were stupid and weird like everybody else does. She always supported me and paid for things even when I insisted on paying myself. That was the kind of person she was, always giving mum money to help pay for things even when mum didn't want it.

I just can't imagine life without her ;A; me and my sisters grew up practically at her house and saw her if not every day more than once a week for the whole of our lives. I lived there for 2 years. We'll never get to talk again or drink tea together or anything ever again. I'll never see her again. She was probably everybody's favourite family member, my dad is an asshole who hates all of mums side of the family but he liked her too. It was impossible not to like her but she's gone now.

I just don't know what to do now. It just sucks that in all my life the first person to die is the one I cared the most about T^T
At least she's at peace and no longer suffering. It's better that way than to wish she were still here but would still be in pain and suffering.

Anyway yeah I lived at my aunts but I'm back home because she's too sick to stay there and I'm not allowed to be there alone. She has incurable cancer so is dying ._. and likely won't be here next year. She might not even make it to christmas. I hate being back here DX nothing has changed I moved out because I hated it here in the first place.

Because of that I'm not going japan anymore it's ALL I've wanted this year so BAD but obviously I can't go now. I'd like to but also I have nobody to go with now anyway, the friends I was going with had problems of their own so we can't go. I just wanted to not be here for christmas. Can you say shit year much DX I want it fucking over with NOW!

So yeah my aunt who I've known all my lif and felt like she was the only one in my family to actually care about me is dying and now my pick me up for such an awful year Japan and seeing d=out at last is off. Even though d=out are coming to europe next year I wanted to go to Japan and see them on their first oneman tour so bad it hurts. Thinking of my aunt not here next year is just depressing and I feel bad because I can hardly visit her cos I don't want to keep going and seeing her get worse and look so bad and remember her that way ;A; just fucking hell this year DX the worst of my life.

As you can guess I've not been online as much cos of all this anyway I can't be bothered much with msn either and drawing not drawn anything in ages.

Though one thing I have is done is start watching anime again not many series though. I FINALLY watched gintama XD and omg it is so good so funny now I need to read the manga cos I've ran out of subbed eps and need more XD.

I'm also totally back into one piece probably my fav series ;A; absolutely love it XD I missed watching and reading it so much but it's back now XD. One piece beats naruto kthx.

Also decided to give kuro shitsuji a try the character designs alone appealed to me XD and I am glad to see a style with long faces and the noses drawn further down the face XD you know with that being what I do noses especially. People tell me I draw them too far down and it's like ARGH it's my style DX it's not realistic and it is my own, get over it. But anyway I need to watch more XD. I know I should read the manga but right now need anime more than manga because being back here means I'm forced to go to bed at like 10 or 11 .___. and I hate waiting to just fall asleep for ages. I start thinking too much and get really depressed D: so I need something to keep my mind active and anime will do XD.

DX can't be arsed with christmas at all I really just wanted to be away in Japan and not have to bother. Christmas sucks >: bah humbug. Though I want to send cards/presents to some ppl D: so I will note you XD. For the moment I'm only doing exchanges open to anybody on my lj.

I decided I'm going Japan in december 8D! I'm so excited ;3; I've wanted to go all year but just had nobody to go with D: but then my friend has been saying I should go with her for months. I held off for some reason I dunno...I just thought I couldn't but then why the hell not and I kept getting all these weird signs I should go o_o. I hate christmas here and then d=out just announced their first oneman tour..on the dates we would be there O__O so that clinched it XD. Were going to see 3 of their onemans at least 8D the 1st we'd miss cos its the day we arrive but if were not half dead *unlikely XD* we might just go anyway.

D=out are totally my obsession *¬* I'm sure you've noticed too XD so yes I am so excited ;A; I would be content just watching them but no were going to see girugamesh and some others too but just ahhhh Kouki in person *__* and I would get to hear them live. I can't wait to get everything booked because then it's really happening! Were getting d=out presale tickets so that's exciting enough.

Also feeling really miserable lately and it's affecting my health so I didn't want to bore you with the details D: but it affects creativity too and cos the problem is like mostly to do with food I'm weak or tired a lot as well D: and with little motivation to do anything. It's this stupid course it's draining the life outta me T^T I'm more depressed than I've been in a long time and it's killing my appetite as well.

With how slooow the month is going that shouldn't be a problem XD. Does anybody else feel it's a REALLY slow month? It feels like it will never end ;o; and all because I want my D=OUT album so badly XD which is released on the 30th DX. Need flashback pv ~D: and drool over Kouki. I LOVE D=OUT but they have such long hard to remember Japanese titles XD Roman Jomyaku...chabangeki...see I can't even remember the album name D: they also have the most boring covers ever XD;

Also on contests what's with all the game contests on DA lately. I was going to enter the square-enix one but I had an uneasy feeling and don't much like the idea of designing something with no guarantee it won't get ripped off or redesigned without my knowledge. Ergh nasty thought D: I just have an uneasy feeling about the contests even if they are meant to be for fun.

Adore - Lynch.
The latest release they've had in a long time. Adore is getting praise like everywhere and it is so worthy of it O_O. It's not what I imagined it to be, it's better. It has that hard usual Lynch. edge. I've yet to watch the pv but I will 8D. I also really love an illusion ~D: Hazuki's vocals are gorgeous and the song blends really well. It's quite different from their usual stuff too. Definitely give it a listen.

Merry Go world - 12012
Even with THAT title (that belongs on an ancafe album with 'Nyappy in the world 128353 kill me now' ) I didn't expect it to be as upbeat and happy sounding as it is XD. Usually I dislike happy upbeat songs >: but there's something about merry go world that appeals to me. The music blends together so well and Wataru's vocals are better than ever. Lovers is also a great track =w= just slightly softer. I still need to hear the other track though. Yeah I still have to watch the pv.

Crimson Tear (pv) - Sadie
I have to mention the pv for this XD. It's one of the most screwed up pv's I've ever watched (and were counting OBSCURE etc here) and everybody should watch it too XD. Seriously WTF. It was weird enough with the Jesus imagery and western people but the ending XD omg seriously watch it. It's WEIRD. Watch out for BAD CGI and possible offense at Mao's Jesus imitations.

I am pimping D=OUT (pronounced Doubt. Yeah I thought it was 'dee-out' too) again because they are so GOOD O_O. Anyone who reads my lj will know how much I blah about them/Kouki XD well actually more Kouki (hooot ~D: ). Yeah his vocals are really weird and not to everyone's taste but you can adjust XD. The style is pretty 'Merry' like as in rock and jazzy ish. The bass and vocals dominate a lot of songs. Anyway they have 2 mini albums out this month and next. Both with all their old songs on. Normally this should piss anybody off because it's not new material but ALL of D=OUT's releases are out of print so it's good in the long run. We also get their first pv's with them /o/ so I'm really looking forward to both the albums especially because next month's has 'Ginza adventure' on it a track only given away at lives. One pic there had a boring style and the shittest shading I’d ever seen and 90/100 odd favourites. Maybe I’m being bitchy or elitist but as a pencil artist I think you need to put the time into shading and not just lazily do the rubbing and smudging with your finger thing. I do that VERY rarely because most of the time it can actually fuck it up. I would like to do a shading tutorial =w= cos I don’t think my stuff is actually great but I do think my shading is probably the thing I’m best at :/ after DAMNED though it could take a while for a tutorial or something XD.
I also really want to do some proper comic practice as in layout, with color or screentones and not just sketchy stuff XD. Maybe I’ll use my oc’s or maybe I’ll use j-tardism don’t know yet. I’m always going on how I want to do some small GC manga comic things but don’t actually do much to help with it -__- so I need practice starting with a panel then I’ll try a page and then I’ll try a few pages. You know take it step by step. I HATE CG with a passion purely because it takes so long so I’ve gotta somehow find a faster more efficient way of doing computer work like CG or comics.
Oh also I’m putting Deity on hiatus x: mostly over DAMNED yes XD. I doubt I’ll be able to go long without drawing him –o- it’s hard not to draw him D: (The Kouki pic I’m working on nearly turned into him XD) but I shall try XD. He needs a break.

Well that’s one plan for the future. ARGH so many things I want to do ;O; and not enough time/creativity/skill.
Anyway lately things suck .__. I dunno I just have a feeling of nothingness. Like nothing matters and I’m going nowhere, its like fucking groundhog day every day D: It feels like my life is going nowhere and everybody around me or everybody I know is doing exciting things or getting somewhere. You know that feeling.
I was hoping it would go away but it’s not and I’ve had it for a while now -__- I think this stupid course has just made it worse and more pronounced. I hate this feeling D: it affects everything around me, affects drawing, affects talking to ppl *something I already have trouble with in the first place*, affects my motivation to do anything even simple things like go to bed and get up but mostly it affects my appetite .__. And I already have trouble eating.

And D=OUT) Also a bunch of games I fancy playing or want (phoenix Wright games ~D: ) are coming out -_- so I’m offering the $10 sketch commissions or $5 chibi’s again for anyone interested. My anti-summoner stereotype guy XD from DDC an rpg thing. I hate how in games a lot of summoner oriented characters are weakling innocent ‘OMG I can’t do anything D: save me’ people and mostly women as well (Yuna can go fuck off and die!). So I decided my summoner would be a badass asshole with an attitude to boot. To add some humour though his colours are a pinkish purple XD and he has no control over that. 1 of the DDC things is you have little control over you chara appearance. It decides for you based on a test and your mentality.

Already redrawn these guys but want to do some more XD. Also from DDC they are primary team and wanted criminals for ambushing players and stealing everything they have. Ao has always been my fav despite his dead sense of humour and miserable attitude but now I’m starting to like Kiiro too. Strangely you all liked Aka :/ which is like wtf I never gave much thought to him XD he’s there to make up the colour theme.

Also from DDC he is a type called a rag doll. There are different types of characters and rag doll is just above broken doll. Whereas broken doll is the form given to the most mentally fucked up XD rag doll is the less extreme type. Pumpkin is pretty damn cool looking so dunno why I’ve not drawn him since. With his attitude you wouldn’t think he was a rag doll.

I really have no idea how they went from that to J-rock XD;; Deity would turn in his grave after dying from horror if he saw what he started out as. I only have a PS2 and DS but I plan on getting a PSP. Right now I'm borrowing my bf's and playing tales of eternia which is awesome ~D: I've hardly put it down since I got it XD

The genres I like are mostly RPG, Beat em up and Action

I hate shoot em ups and FPS so no games like that please.

Games/series I like are mostly Final Fantasy, Devil May Cry, Guilty Gear, Soul Calibur, Tekken, Phoenix Wright, Kingdom Hearts, Tales of Eternia etc

Yes I know play more tales of games so this is what brings me onto the next part. Unlike USA Europe misses out on lots of RPG's that or they take ages to arrive here or in the case of tales of the abyss will never be released here (WTF DX Namco you suck)

Apparently someone for Sony said 'in our experience Europe don't mind waiting'......WHAT THE FUCK. Where did they get that idea?! We do mind we just have no choice DX. Like if Square enix announced FF13 was coming out in Japan and the US in March but Europe would take a year they'd really expect us to not mind waiting? Bollocks.

Anyway moving on I want to try these games so if any of you've played it tell me what you thought

Shin Megami Tensei series - I already have one game (Lucifers call) but the digital devil 1 & 2 are in gamestation at the moment as a 2 for £20 deal :0 seems like a good time to get into it. Persona 3 is also out this week so I've pre-ordered it. Why when I've never played the series? Cos all I've heard are good things and oh so that's the game the J-rockers were all raving about some months back XD. That and when you pre-order it you get a free art book ;D
I hear it's a demon RPG as well so that's automatic win.

Tales of - OMG how many are there XD there's about 3 or so that haven't been translated yet. Anyway cos Namco suck they aren't releasing Tales of the abyss here and looks like Legendia might go the same way. But I'm gonna buy a swap magic disk so I can play imports 8D so yeah how good are those two? Plan on getting tales of the world too. Can't play symphonia cos I have no Gamecube or wii D: unless I bug my bf to play it.

Atelier Iris - I don't know much about this series anyone else played it?

Suikoden - Seems to be more of a cult RPG. I've always been interested but never played it.

Magna Carta - Awesome Hyung Tae Kim character designs that everybody knows but is the game any good? I've heard bad things mostly -_-

Odin Sphere - Released next month and by square enix. It looks cute and fun but other than that don't know much about it. I only found out bout it through GAME.

And others - Valkyrie profile, Rogue galaxy, wild arms, Mana series, Okami, phantasy star, monster hunter *maybe...looks hard D:*

Don't get me wrong it's nice to have fans of my characters but I like to think it's because of how they've been created their traits and personalities and all and that the way they're drawn is just a bonus.

Well I'm one of those people. Yes I draw for myself, I draw for fun and to express my creativity. I don't give a fuck about getting onto the front page. Don't any of you ever put me there >: seriously I don't want popularity and all that crap I just post here to share my creations and see what others have created (original characters ftw) that or post my comics so others can enjoy them. When you become one of the populars you're no longer a person drawing for fun, you're expected to keep that same standard and never do anything wrong. You can't have an opinion without being called a bitch and whether you like it or not there will always be many people who aren't fans of you and your stuff.

So yes why do you draw?

I played through Devil May Cry 4 8DD it is amazing O__O like others I was a bit wtf that Dante wasn't the main character but Nero gets thumbs up from me =w= and seriously come on he is something to do with Vergil XD. I may shock everybody by actually doing some DMC4 fanart. I'm not the biggest of gamers but DMC is a series I bumlove to hell XD and the 4th one is just ....wow. The graphics alone are jaw dropping O_O

BTW does anyone know how to rip J-rock music videos from DVD's XD?

Anyway here's a brief 'small' report till I write up a better one for my LJ. OR I might just post it there too XD;

Me and my friends including ~black-liberty arrived monday to get an early start in the morning. Me and Charlotte went round Camden for a bit and Japan centre and OMFG they had Cure ~D: and the new shoxx with Gazette ~D: but I love cure so bought that. There was nothing to do later on and handily our hostel was right near an Odeon XD so just me and Charlotte went to watch sweeney todd. Ok I knew it was a musical but not THAT MUCH of one O_O. Anyway it was good purely because we found things to laugh at a lot in it. Also cinema tickets in london are a ripoff DX so we just got standard but inside was so empty and there was nobody watching so we sat in the premier seats XD and so did everybody else who came in. After that we just went back and slept XD.

Next morning we got up early, got lost on the underground getting to the venue 8D;;; and then arrived at around 11am. The que was err about 15 ppl XD? Which was awesome. Because it hardly grew at all through the day a lot of us got the chance to converse with each other. Around 12-1pm the bands tourbus rolled up. The windows were blacked out but as it was parking we waved and there were silhouette shapes inside waving back O_O (namely Shuu XD he was easy to spot). A few seconds later the band got out and props to the fans because we didn't swarm them or scream or anything X).

The que really didn't build up till about 5pm. I was actualy worried this was going to be it XD meaning wow poor Girugamesh. Whilst in the que I met ~BlackCaracaL who drawn the most amazing picture of Shuu ever with just ballpoint pen O___O. It was so good I think it was actually handed to him by the staff right? Anyway something really fucking pissed me off around 5pm and that was the fact people were arriving and skipping right to the front of the que! Security were doing sod all until enough of us complained and bitched about it and even then they didn't stop it. In fact I remember one person who'd skipped and security were saying something like 'It's wrong but it's your choice if you want to stay here or go to the back' WTF?! 'Hmm no I think I'll go to the back and give up my place at the front that I don't deserve cos I'm a que jumping whore' DUUUUH of course they're going to stay where they are! And really I don't give a shit if your friend is at the front if you arrive at a later time you should que like the rest of us!! There were people who'd been que'ing since 8am in the freezing cold and some twat arrives at 5pm and goes right to the front. It's just not on. Guh so annoying. When the doors finally opened we were let in a group at a time so it was easy and fast. We were near the front of the que so I grabbed a shirt then ran into the concert hall on Shuu's side. I was 1 person from the barrier so basically I was at the front with ~black-liberty next to me, her friend and then Charlotte nearby. Whilst waiting we talked to the girls behind us about Gazette when they were here XD. It seemed like ages we were waiting DX until finally the intro started up O_O. Some brief screaming moments later we all instinctively began to clap until they all came out one by one.

XD oh yeah I said brief so here are the highlights.

The crowd - Unlike Gazette's *cough*retardedteenybopperscreamingkids*cough* the crowd were amazing. No gay moshing from side to side like Berlin and no pointless fangirly screaming. It was an awesome crowd and we all knew what to do before they even asked us XD.
The view - At the front YES you can see everything the only one I didn't see much was Ni. Otherwise I constantly had a perfect closer than I've ever been to Giru view of Satoshi, Ryo and Shuu of course. Also if you are at the front you can say 'they looked at me' because they will look at you. Just don't go saying looked RIGHT at me and did such a thing.

Anyway I've been thinking for a while i'd like to try make a small comic (more like a doujinshi probably) on GateCrasher so i'm going to try put this into action soon XD. I'm planning to do it properly meaning, inked, screentoned/coloured and laid out etc and I'd like it to be published as well.

If you know nothing of GateCrasher they are my oc band XD plenty of art in them in my gallery just go look.

Basically the comic would be gag/humour themed and involving GateCrasher but it would be simple things like what they do outside the band or situations at lives/interviews, conflics with other bands etc.

If you haven't noticed gag/humour themed is most easy for me XD. Some people would probably prefer the actual GateCrasher story but that's far too long for me right now and actually kind of serious >o>. It focuses on Deity and their lives outside the band. Some characters (who shall remain nameless but some of you will know who i'm referring to here XD) while in the band may seem fine or likeable but outside of the band they change completely and said person is actually an arrogant, self centred asshole. In fact you'll want to slap some sense into Deity alone never mind the others.

So yeah I didn't want to do that XD gag/humour comics are awesome and fairly easy for me and though GC is more serious themed there's still plenty of things and situations to throw around as gags.

So far there are 3 stories i'd like to do I could put them all together or be greedy and bring them out seperately XD but really it depends how long each is.

It will be in (UK) English, because I am British XD? But even so the characters will communicate how I imagine them to. For example Minus is a dorky 'dude' so uses a lot of annoying words such as LOL/LOLZ/LOLORZ, OMG, 1337, and I was like, etc XD. Yes he does say LOL out loud. Whereas Kaja don't ask me why XD but I ALWAYS hear/visualise him speaking in British slang (thankfully not cockney rhyming slang -_-). I know I know XD he's Japanese he shouldn't sound like that but he does and if you imagine it yourself it actually fits...:/
Kigan on the other hand is rather snobby and Deity can be anything from formal to cute to ignorant/rude to swearing like you don't know what. Lastly just because Maku is always forgotten XD;; err he speaks the most casual/down to earth/ordinary out of them all. So yeah you get the picture. Oh and if you're wondering how Sadeki would be he's very snide, two faced, up himself and swears a lot.

Anyway I want your opinions and ideas about the following or anything else you'd like to know/suggest =w=

* Is this a good idea?

* Would you buy it?

* Who would you like to see in it other than GateCrasher? (Mari Cruz, ASC, cameo's by some other character etc)

* What situations would you like to see? (like what would you want to see them doing. Screwing each other doesn't count unfortunately -o-)

* Would you like priveleges such as mini posters or cards to come with it? (like one with each member and see who you get kind of thing : D)

Friday was the signing session at Neotokyo. Me and my friend Laura had arrived on the thursday and attempted to walk there which was a mistake we took the longest route possible and gave up before we'd even made it halfway.
This time we took a shortcut to neotokyo well not much of a shortcut it still took us forever but we got there. On the way we got lost however and passing a fruit store I spotted tubs of fresh pineapple XD so bought one for Satoshi. I was really glad I had.

The signing was due to start at 6pm and we arrived around 3 so browsed the store and I happened to see this : D [link] so of course there was no questions it was already bought XD. I was annoyed there was no poster though XO since when did cure stop posters ¬¬ and since when have they had 2 covers :/

Anyway...we sat outside and waited. Girl from J-shock we'd spoken to was also there so we talked with her. Eventually the real que'ing began and we befriended some German people one of them being ~crimesugarstar. The signing was so organised there was no pushing or shoving we didn't even know the doors had opened. When we got up to the window we looked inside and I saw Ni and then Shuu and then Ryo who has Aoi dreadlocks! They were all dressed in the usual black suits with ties and black eyemakeup look. We couldn't see Satoshi at all. I was shaking so badly before we went in XD before finally we were let in the store. As I waited in line Satoshi came into view hiding around the corner. At the time I was too OMG OMG but they allowed you to take photo's inside O__O. I only got 2 and they aren't that great but here they are anyway

Finally I was next so moved to stand in front of Satoshi, our eyes made direct contact and he is absolutely terrifying up close! His eyes D: the contact lenses it was a stare as if he was penetrating your soul XD seriously OMG his eyes O_O. Anyway he was waiting for me to hand over my CD to sign that's why he was staring at me. Before I did that I took out the tub of pineapple in our gift bag and placed it on the table in front of him. No joke but when that happened his face lit up he smiled and then said 'OHHH.....SOOO FRESH' and he was no longer scary XD. He knew what it was the moment he saw it XD; me and Laura had to go right up and examine it at the fruit store. I'll never forget that moment it's burned in my memory. He has the cutest voice. I then handed them the giftbag and my Reason of Crying booklet to sign. Some reason I skipped Ni and went to Shuu and realised why wasn't I shaking hands yet.

Shuu was staring at me waiting for something so I held out my hand and with a smug look he shook it XD he has a powerful enthusiastic handshake. I then held out my hand for Ni and he shook it before shaking hands with Satoshi. Finally I moved to Ryo who was sipping his drink. Ryo's birthday was soon so we'd got him a card and some small final fantasy/nintendo/game related gifts. I held the card up in front of him and he almost choked on his drink XD as the card had HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYO : D in big letters. He replied with 'ARIGATOU!' then shook my hand and then signed my ROC booklet. J-shock was awesome O__O Satoshi and Girugamesh blew my mind XD though I never got to meet them ¬¬ the signings were incredibly gay and badly organised.

I thought Ancafe's signing was bad but girugamesh's FUCKING HELL! I went through hell in the que, squashed, pushed, shoved, in pain, my posters ruined you name it. I got more hot and sweaty in that que then the whole concert! Finally as me and my friend get to the front i'm like YES OMG OMG SATOSHI I GET TO MEET HIM and then the man called that it was time up O__O.
WTF NOOOOO D: some cheers were heard as the que dissolved and giru stood up to bid us farewell. Satoshi smiled and waved and he looked absolutely fucking adorable T^T he didn't have his contacts in yet. I didn't get my camera out in time D: *emo's* so yeah never got to give em the chibi's and the gifts we bought them.

I wasn't sad at all Instead I was fuming with rage >O my poster it was completely ruined I had to go buy another. Me and Laura went downstairs to drop our stuff off in the cloakroom. Seriously there was no1 there and they took forever >O!! That did not help my mood whatsoever. We heard bis start up which didn't help my mood cos we were missing them and by the time the cloakroom guys put our stuff away I was in too much of a dark angry mood to give a fuck about bis. Me and laura simply bought drinks and chilled out in the entrance hall =w= ranting about the signings before we went off to look at the visual market again and bought some J-rock stuff X). Too much stuff there I wanted DX and we had no idea they kept changing the J-rock mags. *Arena37c Gazette Chizuru special. Fuck we missed it* Basically we did that and listened to Bis until they went off.

After Bis had left we decided to go and wait for Girugamesh who were up next and the band i'd gone just to see. We watched the pvs playing above Ancafe ones mostly and a bis one that made us laugh mainly cos WTF Kisaki was in it and Maru bowed to him XD.

Then Shuu and Ni came out to warm up/check their equipment OwO. Me and Laura were close to the front and stuck between Shuu and Satoshi *or rather the place Satoshi would be*. Though Shuu kept bending down and Laura was like 'he has a fine ass. He has an ass that wont quit' XD so she found a new love right there. Shuu and Ni played some random warm ups on their instruments before the SE '13' started up O___O and Ryo walked out soon followed by Satoshi wearing his Volcano bandana. Lots of cheers before Jarring Fly started up and screaming was heard XD *from me*. Though some prick in front of us suddenly went into a fit aka a really gay mosh all over the place and if we hadn't stepped back we'd have been hit. In fact I did shove him cos he was pissing me off XD, cos like yeah the twat kept obscuring my view of Satoshi who was erm HOT and wow transformed from the cute Satoshi at the signings.

Real life - Totally unfunny in the slightest my mum took ALL my art apart from that at my aunties/woking on and gave them out to the brat kids at the nursery/link club she works at to colour in. Has 2 mesh pockets at the side and one large velcro fastened pocket at the back. The bag fastens with velcro. Plenty of space for all your stuff it has pockets at the front as well as inside. I think there's one zipped pocket inside anyway. I once fit my laptop in this it's that good. Ideal for anyone who requires lots of materials or storage to carry college work. I know because I had this as an art student.

Well its just the face really and I want the SGD outfit. I dont particularly like the idea of paying over £30 for one though. I only want a small one.

There are things I'd like but it's just there is no point asking the majority of my family because they either think they're stupid or I don't need them.

One thing I would really love (DX your fault *Blitzballbaby) is an El BJD ;o; when we were talking somehow I became convinced I need to buy 5 BJD's and model them in the image of GateCrasher X). Deity is an El, Kigan is a Yder, Kaja is a Moon, Maku is a Chiwoo and Minus is a Shiwoo. Those dolls fit them well but yeah I would get Deity first. I want a DOT Sha really bad because he is absolutely gorgeous but he'd have to wait ;_;
Some people wan't to see GateCrasher and yeah I want to but art block D: it seems to never leave now. I will try to though.

With the money I'm gonna get it's a damn hard choice between
-Sexpot Revenge stuff which I fucking want badly and have done since before last year

I got back from seeing D'espairs Ray in London last monday. It was a sweet gig X) the venue was the tiniest i've been to yet. You could stand at the back and see them all as clear as day.
UK fans are too nice for their own good, there was no pushing, shoving in the que or inside. People just you through if you were trying to get closer to the front
Also UK security is either slack or the band didn't mind camera's cos you could take photo's and none of security cared. DX FS I need to get a camera.

The merch was kinda over priced (£7 for a wristband DX) or i'd have got more but I got a really pretty tour shirt which has the tour dates for Europe on the back. Only thing with the majority of tour shirts is they're always guy sizes so they're friggin huge DX.
The support band Limbogott sucked. They were ugly middle aged men who thought we'd enjoy some make out fanservice in bloody shirts and smeared faces. Not to mention they ripped off one of Gara from Merry's signature trademarks.

D'espairs Ray followed soon after they left which was good. Hate waiting ages for a band. Hizumi was sexy as fuck and Tsukasa gorgeous as ever. They all looked good even Zero who's looked shit lately.

Hizumi held the mic out for us to sing along to some songs which I screamed at the top of my lungs . It was also the shortest concert i've been to because it ended around 10pm which sucked. In the past some concerts have lasted till 11.30
Sunday after Desray me and my friends visited Camden town which was awesome lots of sweeeeet punk shops and Sai Sai's which sells J-rock, VK and Lolita style clothing. There was even some Mar Jour and Sexpot Revenge things in. That and Gazette was on the whole time we were in there X) I spent all my money on just a shirt and some pants alone in there. On our way back to the underground a weird hobo man bugged us and yelled Merry Christmas and thought I was somebodies brother (DX). He kept coming back and forward to us and gave me some nail varnish. I took it just so he'd fuck off.

Overall a very awesome weekend.

Anyway yeah my manga idea. It's called Kuroi Carousel. However should it be Kuro or Kuroi if I want it to basically be 'Black' Carousel.
So far the doll owner is called Dark. I want to change it however mainly cos it's too much like DN Angel Dark, however I still want a name that basically is something dark, mysterious, black. So far best choices are Black or Night XD. Yup best choices. I use Raven too much and well Karasu as well but that would be a good name for him.

Anyway here's the jist of the story. I'm too lazy to comma, yes I know it needs some but anyway -

There is a story that tells of a doll shop that sells nothing but wishes. Its owner is dark and mysterious and never to be found in the world outside, bound to sell his dolls to whoever happens upon his shop until he has served his time. The price of such precious things however depends on the person and the doll is unique to each owner. Humans aren’t born bad and the same applies for his dolls. In the right hands and owners a doll can make a perfect friend, lover or mother if it’s so desired. However though they may look human they are still dolls and still fragile. The slightest mistake or mistreatment on behalf of the owner could result in terrifying consequences because though they are dolls they each have a personality and mind of their own. Though some say the dolls answer to the desires of the soul however dark or disturbing they may be. Desires can be hidden away but they’ll never be forgotten. Welcome to the world of CarouseL.

Anyway yeah each stoy has a moral and each person has a doll. I have 6/7 stories pinned. The dolls as well, I've tried to make em quite creepy(majority anyway) Some of them you would not want in your room XD. But I think it could be cool.

Friday 26/05/06
At around 2pm I began my journey to the airport. It was kinda awkward cos I had to catch 2 trains and a taxi just to get there but it could of been worse. I could have had to change trains like 4 times as i've had to do for concerts in the past. I arrived at around 5pm and waited an hour or so for =Blitzballbaby to arrive. When she hadn't shown for quite a while I got worried and panicked and started que'ing for check in XD. In the other que I could see 2 other diru fans and hear them talkin about it. When =Blitzballbaby did arrive we got talking to the other 2 girls and made good small talk that passed the time pretty quickly.
When we arrived in Berlin we got a taxi to our hostel together with the other 2 girls, agreed to meet again during the weekend and went to find our rooms in our hostels. =ani-r and ~Rikku16 were already there and waiting for us.
Our room had 6 beds and we were told 2 other people might show up so I honestly wasn't looking forward to that happening just in case they were weirdo's or old foreign tourist like people XD. It took a while for me to get asleep but I managed it.

Saturday 27/05/06
When we awoke the next day the beds had indeed been filled but very luckily for us the girls were also seeing Dir en Grey and were also from the UK o_o talk about a lucky coincidence. Me, =Blitzballbaby, ~Rikku16 and =ani-r got some breakfast and then got changed for our long wait in line for the concert.

You could see the fans before you'd even got to the concert hall XD it was like a mass of black and for friggin 11.30 am there was a fuck load of ppl already there. We chose to que in the smaller of the 2 ques. Though time seemed to slow down diliberately to piss us off we took much joy in mocking the badly dressed and plain shit outfits (yeah were bitches) as well as admiring others. Some of the stuff ppl had on was just freaking awesome like this one girl behind us who had a white customised pinstriped suit and hat on along with loads of other sweet accessories. The weather was fair really it wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. There were moments where I was freezing D: but I do get cold incredibly easy. Also there seemed to be the same helicopter flying over us like every 20 mins. We each took turns in getting up and walking around and i'd brought pocky and white rabbits as well as my handmade Gazette sketchpad to sustain us.

At around 4.30 pm we could see people were sneakily getting around us by standing up slightly in front of us. We didn't want to be overtook or anything in the que so decided to stand up also. For some completely bizarre reason after we'd stood up THE WHOLE QUE behind us did the same @__@; and so began a very long boring tiresome wait. People began pushing stupidly thinking it would help and a girl near us fainted o_o not like it was hot or extremely crowded or anything so yeah. Around 6.30pm-7.00pm they started letting ppl in and as with al concerts i've been to hell broke loose again as pushing and shoving began and I was pretty much shunned from my place and slammed into the bar on the left. Friggin fans had threw bottles and umbrellas on the floor and I almost tripped cos when the rush began I couldn't see where I was going. You just had to go with the flow as they say. I imagine if anyone had fell in that rush they may have been stampeded on. Because I was now pinned against the bar and such my que moved fucking slow and it took a while just to get near to the front >O. What really pissed me off was how people who had shown up at like 6.00pm had pushed their way right to the front. Anyway as I was waiting in line without no warning whatsoever the heavens opened and it ABSOLUTELY fucking threw it down. Within a matter of seconds I was soaked and all around I could hear the screams (including me) of people getting wet XD. I thought fuck this and sneakily edged my way in every sp... ]]> ~hellangel
