So I'm working on my fic inside my head, since I have a writer's block on the latest chapter (augh, it's terrible - because it's nearly done). Am imagining all sorts of things and writing them down, hopefully a little more than half will actually BE written.

Perhaps I'll do some art... like, not. I only have assorted sketches from polisci and physics notebooks... Tues/Thurs are the only days I can draw it seems. Been drawing lots of dragons, some brains (WTH is the right response), and bad doodles. But the only serious project right now is Trial By Fire, my fic for DGM.

A rant I need to get out:

For the hundreth time I have seen someone write the 14th poorly. They think 'oh, the 14th must be evil cause he's a Noah duh". Argh! To everyone who writes this way, I insert the following message: If you want to write fanfics, try to at least understand the damned story! The 14th is not evil for the precise reason that the Earl wants to kill him. DGM is NOT Bleach! The 14th isn't evil Allen. So get the prewritten character parameters straight you NITS!

Moments of Transition - Yeah, I'm working on chapter two. It's titled Voices of Shadow but it is much more of a filler with lots of Allen, Lenalee and Lavi in contrast to the prologue with the 14th. It's fun to write. I'm hammering out the plot now.

Well, I have finals and exams coming up and feel royally screwed. I'm currently finishing a timeline on WWII, it never ends. Plus I have to collect 30 insects in one week. If only I knew where to find stone flies and lace-wings.

Ideas that have a high chance of never coming off:

Allen- When All Is Missing: If I could just get the fricking back of his skull right, I might continue. But it's hard given I changed the drawing proportions with the lineart. Maybe I will do it.

Allen and the 14th - Just a light sketch, probably will be forgotten.

Owls - Some sketching based on many dreams I've had.

Classes this summer went well, though they drained so much time. I had classes from 11 AM to 9 PM, so I had to stay at college all through that time. I also had chem lab everyday because the semester was shorter. But thank god it's over. I had my final earlier this week.

Yesterday was also a "fun" day. I initially just was going to pickup a calculus textbook, but then I had to visit my dementia-patient grandma. Right afterwards, I was encouraged to sail. It was my last chance on a weekday, however I hadn't sailed for two years. So I sailed for an hour. Then, right afterwards my friend called and wanted to go to the Shakespeare play running that night. After the play, then my brother called me and I had a two-hour long talking extravaganza.

Art-wise, I've gotten bored with Bleach and gone into D-Grayman. Very interesting considering of late Allen has been revealed as the host of the 14th. But the author has a tendency to go on several week breaks.

All I'm working on at the moment is a gray-scale drawing of the Eagle Nebulae and a drawing of Lenalee.

I'm making a note here, huge success.

Real life is kind to me so far. I got the hardest, or known hardest, paper in English done. The professor commented usually everyone dropped at that point. In my other courses I am still working. As usual, my chemistry professor is slow as usual. She puts the first exams within a month of each other, finds out she has no time, and as a result the last two exams within a week of each other. And in math, I've got an A+ so far.

The pairing debate thread, like every time, is a laugh. It is funny to see people arguing about evidence over fiction yet disregard evidence in real life. It is so stupid. After arguing about global climate change and the presidential candidate elections, you can come home to see more people apparently care about the "authorial intent" of a bad fiction writer then important issues.

Gack, humans can be so stupid.

Art Status:

Soten Kisshun- 1% done: I decided to redo it because it just doesn't work with the body proportions. So I have to redraw it in the correct proportions.

Naze: Companion piece to Soten Kisshun. Only part of it is sketched.

Together- 25% done: I'm still linearting it. It is my first uncrappy drawing that works.

Cake: It's real title is a surprise, but I am working on the lineart.

Bankai Stance- 25% done: I'm finishing the lineart and am moving onto the color. I don't have a good coloring technique for skin, though, and it's driving me nuts. Hair and clothes are done, sword and skin still in the works.

...And the Trash is Shouting: I have to fix Ulquiorra in this. I sketched it when I felt crappy (and my sketches reflect my mood) so I have now completely changed it to a different thing.

Milky Way/Untitled: Unicorn is sketched, and I have to replace the dragon with a different sketch which fits the drawing.

Mother Earth: I have to work on it more. It is an emotional absract picture depicting the Earth and global climate change artistically. Sketched it after getting pissed as all hell get out with people saying we don't have to do anything or have any responsibility about the environment. Tch.

Well, I'm currently recovering from my semester. I got an A in chemistry, and A in Algebra II, and a B in English Intro to Literature. The finals were a pain in the butt. My chemistry final was an exception, since I studied heavily. But my Algebra II exam was quite annoying because I was having difficulty with simple Algebra I problems (when I supposedly passed out of Algebra I...)

Art status:

Santen Kisshun: 20% done - I was fixing the eyes when the computer overheated and died. It'll take a while for me to get into the mode again.

Bankai stance: 5% done - Inspired by the "Will Rukia achieve bankai?" thread.

Two weeks ago, I was on my normal ruotine of going back home with my father. We were on I-880 and suddenly - BOOM!! Our tire hid shrapenal and just blew out. We had to pull over to the side while cars passing by probably did not know we even existed on the side of the road. Then my father replaced the tire with the emergency spare. We got back into the car and the real challenge began: merging back onto the interstate highway. Since nobody stops, we accelerated as fast as we could into the highway. We were going so fast that seconds later -- BOOM!! IThe emergency blew. We had to travel on the spare's rim, ruining it with each move, and get the car of the highway. We did get it fixed, but the ordeal was extensively tiring.

Back to art:

1) Unicorn: started on a whim, now it is top priority (for once my brother said my art was good)
2) Amaranth: My anime one that's working
3) Dragon pastels: will get them done eventually.

I could not do byakuya drawing because my computer died in the middle off coloring it.

Class Status:

Well, it is four weeks into my fall semester classes. In three classes, I got my exams back. In chemistry, the significant figure quiz got everyone in my class. I blame dimensional analysis. In english, my professor is a grammar natzi. On an in-class short-story analysis essay, I received an 83%. 17% was taken for a missing example and an incomplete conclusion. I'm a supposed good speller, yet he docked 5% for those small errors. Makes me wonder how the others did.

In math, I got 89%. Fractional systems of equations are ultra pains.

I also lost two levels in my favorite RPG (Fuck those stupid Elite Dread Knights!!) and ended up restoring a backup on my Zaurus 3 (!!) times. How stupid is that?

On a side note, I have snes9x emulator working on the Zaurus, so now I can play Super Nintendo games on my PDA. I was playing "Mobile Fighter G Gundam" fighting game (translated IPS patched) on my Z in first period history.
I had a sub in history, so no big loss.

Unfortunately, I have to do a biography on Michelanglo, and touch up my "Creation of Adam (hands)" Drawing. Then I have to do a 5 page research paper on Schitzophrenia, a vocabulary assignment, and some shitty science.
