1. My favourite genre of art is not in fact realism, but the sort of melancholic style seen in Spilliaert's work. (That sounds so emo.)

2. Because I am allergic to flowers, I had to use a make-your-own perfume website to find perfume that doesn't make me sneeze!

3. Although like music... I can never be bothered to put it on, whether it's a CD, on the the PC or on my MP3, and I am never up to date with new bands because I can also never be bothered to music tv. Similarly, although I enjoy reading, I've yet to read a book that I'd call my favourite. I just never completely like a book... though I don't read very often.

4. Though I have a mega Japanese obsession, my favourite films are Chinese, and my favourite cuisine is Mexican.

5. I always have this temptation to drink a full bottle of maple syrup - I love it so much! Never have done it though.

6. I could happily live in constant winter. It'd be no chore whatsoever.

7. I detest bad manners, and because of this I will reply to every comment I get, thank for every fave, and return every watch!

8. I am far too boring for 8 interesting facts.

She did it like ages ago, so I think it's pretty clear that I haven't got it, but I'd like thank her anyway for thinking I'm worthy enough! And congrats to her for recently getting one :) I decided to recommend ~Kroevyn's Aslan for one because I love it so.

I want to change my user ID and my avatar (as much as I love Felicia, she has to go now) but I'm stuck for ideas, so any suggestions? I'd like to steer clear from photographs of myself because... just ew.

I have a 95% finished drawing of Sophia Loren in the pipeline. It's taken forever because I had the cold plus the art theft thing going on while I tried to draw it so there was muchos distractions. After that, I should be doing more painterly stuff for a while... most of which I probably won't share on here because I'm rubbish at painting. I have a really good idea for a big painting that I will do... whether it's decent enough for dA is another matter!

And I hate how busy I am with stuff at the moment - I really want to work on the tutorial! Gah.

Before I give specific details and plan it out, I would like to know if enough people would be interested. I haven't got much time at the moment to take them, so the proper journal with details would be posted around June/July, so it would be an ideal time to ask for commissions because I wouldn't have enough time around Christmas. So leave a comment if you would be interested in a commission.

Also, deviants who have taken commissions already, could you tell me what you have charged, and what other factors I should take into consideration, like should postage be additional or included in the cost, so I can work out a price and give specific details.

EDIT: Actually could all deviants who read this, say what they think one of my drawings, A4 in size, would be worth, regardless whether you're interested in one or not.

In other news, I've finished another Audrey Hepburn drawing, which I think is my best so far. I'm 60% done on another Marilyn drawing, which is taking really long because I'm doing a detailed tutorial for it, so progress is stilted. I don't want to submit Audrey till Marilyn is finished, because the Audrey drawing is soooo much better! I have also started a drawing of Sophia Loren, and will be drawing Rita Hayworth soon after!

Sorry for delayed replies to comments, deviations, journals and favourites, I've only recently had access to a decent computer, but I should get everything under control fairly soon :)

I've been so busy sorting out things to apply to university, I've gotten really behind on here, so apologies for not commenting, faving, and reading journals as much as I should have.

I did a drawing of Audrey Hepburn on her last trip for UNICEF, and it's got her holding a starving child. It's not a pleasant picture, and I only did it because from a technical point of view, it was the only one that met requirements I needed for a drawing. But anyway, I just want to see what the general opinion would be if I posted it on here?
