To be fair, a few things on the map translate over to mine pretty easily. Many of the cities are in the right places (on rev9, not 8), the biomes are positioned right, but one big problem:

The compass rose.

If you can imagine the stretch of land being Celestina, according to the compass rose, I'd have to rotate my entire world 90 degrees counter clockwise. Alright, not too tough you'd think, but that's an entire world to rotate -_- And I'm kind of sad to get rid of the "Mild West" now that it has a name XD

The new prologue is up, and now I'm doing my last revisions to chapter 1 before firing it off to my prereaders and am almost done with the much overdue rev 9 of my map. Why did I replace the prologue? To reflect changes to the story I had to make back when I discovered a plot hole.

Plus, I have a habit of writing backwards (I'm done with chapters 6-12 – the second half of act 1). Long story short, any small change = chapter 1 gets a makeover. Not to mention every event across 5 acts, easily spanning 60 chapters, is connected in some way, so as you can imagine, it's quiiiite sensitive to change.

On the bright side, that means when chapter 1 comes out, the rest won't be far behind.

Not much happened with my story the past month, but now, it's going through revision after having thrown it at my editors and prereaders, and it'll be out soon. Long story short, expect to see it sometime this week. I'll be starting a more regular release schedule afterwards.

Then comes the map, revision 8. It's a monster. The file is 1.76GB. 1.76GB! Kill me now. Not the biggest I've seen, but it makes my 4GB of ram on my 2010 13' macbook pro squeal, and oh does it. Oh, and did I mention I'm using a touchpad? Yea. Suicide.
