I admit that I get stressed looking for gifts too, if only because I feel frustrated not knowing what someone will actually want. I don't want to burden someone with useless crap (as much as I love useless crap myself) nor do I feel completely sanguine about the offering of a gift card (though I love gift cards myself). It's hard to be original, and I know everyone has to shop for SOMEONE who "has everything".

On top of this I have three birthdays to shop for between mid november and Christmas (2/3 complete now)!

So anyway, I need to go Christmas shopping! Aauuughhh... Help...

So a few weeks ago now I got a nest of wasps living in my wall and I have ben trying to keep them at bay "humanely"... Now anyone will tell you, after they're done laughing at you, that there is no humane way to get rid of wasps.

Because I didn't want any of my pets (or myself and roommate) getting stung I put about a raid wasp trap. Well, that thing was a tot piece of crap- I checked it after a week and it had only caught about 3 wasps. Then when I picked it up to toss it out, I could see wasps flying in and out freely. Only I would get super intelligent wasps in my house.

My dad told me I could wait until they left and then just seal up the hole so they didn't return. This seemed like a great idea, until the number of wasps INSIDE my house began to increase exponentially. This morning there were at least 30 wasps buzzing around inside by my back doors, and I have NO idea how they are getting inside. So I decided it was time for decisive action.

I went out to buy some insecticide wasp spray, but of course everyone was sold out. I ended up with some glue traps for the windows, which have caught a few wasps up to this point. But I was sitting downstairs watching them to see if I could find out how they were getting in. Eventually I gave up and came back upstairs. When I sat down at my computer, my screensaver was cycling through my image galleries.

And it just so happened to be on a series of images of The Pain, one of which was an animated GIF I made for an LJ Icon that said "Don't worry, Bee happy".

I would say this is a natural phenomenon that happens throughout everyone's life, but we don't always notice (until it's too late).

Hmmmm... I don't remember. I live a pretty sheltered clean life, I don't often regret my actions.

Very well, aside from being a bit ill.

Literally or figuratively? Because figuratively I do it every day at work. Literally would be today anyway, if a handshake counts.

Hmmm... My mom, though she probably wouldn't care about most of the stuff that I need to get off my chest. Other than that I have many friends who get to hear me rant on a regular basis. I'm pretty open with my thoughts.

My computer, Bishop, got a nasty virus and died... So I had to buy a new system. Fortunately, I was able to save all my hard drive data. Unfortunately, my tablet won't work on this system, and so far I've had no luck getting my scanner to work either. That means it'll likely be a little while until you see anything new. But at least I'm back and free to browse again...

I'll gladly accept condolences in the form of money or chocolate!

update: Yay, scanner works. At least I can do some art the old fashioned way. I'm going to end up buying a new tablet when I can afford it, since the cable I'd need to connect my old one costs half as much as a new tablet anyway. Booo! >.>

Recently I decided I browse enough to justify logging in to avoid those ads punching me in the face. Naturally why bother making a new gallery when one exists already, just dying to be used?
