I'd say it's been a pleasure, but I don't like DeviantArt and never have. However, I've met some wonderful people here, and I will never forget that. I can never be unhappy about that.

The staff, however, are a bunch of talentless non-artist idiots who love to draw everyone else into their drama, self-important idiots who don't even know the basics of anatomy and love to discriminate unfairly between art depicting males and art depicting females. Hate is left up and done nothing about despite repeated and valid complaints, but inaccurate reports of clearly unoffending works are pounced upon like a shot. There's something wrong when you can bash someone's race or sexual orientation and have it protected by it being 'artistic expression', but you can't show a penis.

And I'm through dealing with it. This isn't art, it isn't anything I want to promote, and it's nothing I'm going to keep promoting with my hard work.

I'm sure you understand. I look forward to seeing you at PaperDemon and elsewhere! PaperDemon is a place that is legitimately artistic and actually run by artists. Unlike DeviantArt is or ever has been.

I'm leaving my gallery up, I don't want to mess with anyone's favourites and I appreciate all the ones I received. But if you want to contact me, you'll have to use my email or message me at PD or somewhere good.

I encourage all of you to come to PD and be appreciated and able to express yourself freely instead of having some airheaded lackey abuse you for being a legitimate artist.

After a brief little bit of time away from DA, I've returned. I am not happy with DA, and I was very burned out, so I took some time away. I really don't like to support places that support hate.

The piece I'd like to encourage you all to report for hate speech is here, and I am very grateful if you will. This person has done many ignorant, bigoted works.

Of course I'm happy to keep up communications with all of you, and I will still be posting as much as I can while I continue my comic work.

I am more at PaperDemon now, which is a much friendlier and nicer art site, with a much more enjoyable, intimate community full of friendly people and friendly administrators. It also allows a wider variety of pictures than are allowed on DeviantArt...who apparently are all too happy to implicitly endorse real-life hate speech, but draw the line at imaginary sex. That makes such great sense.

Anyway, I'm back, and I'm sorry for not saying anything before I took some time away. I felt it would be best just to do it instead of saying I was going to do it; that tends to start drama, and if there's one thing DA doesn't need more of, that's it.

I've decided to start a new journal entry mainly because the last one got so inundated with comments that had nothing to do with anything or were just being insulting or puerile. That's not all of them, but several were the person's friends coming around to troll me, then trying to call me immature for what I'm doing. Pot, meet kettle.

Because of this, I'm asking you not to comment on this...if you have something to say, you can just send me a note. I know my friends will be happy to do this, and you know your comments are always welcome. But just so you don't get pulled into a big huge argument, and so things stay pleasant for everyone, I ask you not to comment on the journal entry. Thank you in advance.

It's a homophobic, bigoted, disgusting little stamp created solely to rally someone around her horrible viewpoint. That's not the only horribly offensive work she's done, but it also shows up on searches it has no business showing up on, because she's used a bunch of keywords that have nothing to do with it, in order to make that happen.

Please keep reporting this and let DA know this doesn't belong here. Hate isn't art. And hate doesn't belong on DA.

The spirit of Christmas is love for everyone, not hateful little stamps that belittle and dismiss the efforts of people fighting to be recognised as human beings.

I hope you'll help me with this if you can.
