not some stereotypical beauty pageant, although all of the girls are pretty...especially Nicole it's like based on personality and role model what they do for the world and alll that.) it's called National American Miss, and she won in the Junior Teen division for southern california!!!! out of 103 FREAKIN GIRLS!!!! I'm so stoked for her. she won like, the crown and banner thing, and a trophy and like 1000 dollars and she's gonna go to Nationals and has a modeling contract and all of this amazing stuff. I still can't believe she won - everyone was in SHOCK that she beat Vannie and all the girls who had done the pageant for so much longer. but she worked sooo hard for it, so she deserved it, totally. and the raddest part was that I think she talked about how she was a Christian, so she's also representing God. and I prayed for her a lot so...yaaaay! soooooo. art-wise I'm working on this really sick acrylic pop-art painting with Audrey Hepburn and rainbow swirly things. oh yes. rainbow swirly things. so look forward to that and some other things.

ohhh, and I registered for OCHSA finally -is excited-

it was the picture that gave me the idea in the first place. and the streaks will most likely be like that, compared to the other pic they're a bit more suttle and not as chunky. thinner streaks I guess. also my hair isn't gonna be that short, it'll be...like the length I cut it last time I got it cut probably. A-line, from the neck to a few inches below the chin, and more razored. but not as razored and layered i think, because I want it to look good curly, too. and I'm also not too sure what effect layers would have on streaks.

oh and also I have been obsessed with MGMT lately. their songs are alll so catchy and techno-y and indie rock-y and all that.

holy crap we had the BEST photoshoot everrrrrr. we were geeks with sneakers (well I had crocs) and high mismatching socks, matching neon supenders holding up high-waisted plaid shorts, collared blouse shirts thingies, complete with pimples and a unibrow and geek hair. oh yes. sexy. then we were emo kids, which is basically self-explanatory...y'know, black and tightness and bows and straight hair and black smudgy makeuppps. then we were SCENE which was too much fun xD and oh God, the videos we did wheile we were taking pictures - too funny! I would so post the vid of me catching Mary dancing to Cascada while she was emo, along with the following one of me telling her she's not emo anymore and then she starts attacking me with a comb xD

but our parents are both...URRRGH.

I mean, I love my momma, but...overprotective much? YAH.

I've been fooling around with names based off of lyrics, and so far I like the-hopeless-haze the best. that's the only one I can remember, the other ones were in my URL bar thing but the history was cleared recently so they don't show anymore. (the lyrics are from "Change Your Mind" by the Killers.)

I'm probably going to come up with some more, but if you can find some cool lyrics in 20 or less characters that are from bands I like, that'd really help. :] also, just any kind of input, on whether or not I should do it, what I should bring with me to the new account, all that would be good.

sorry I've been kinda gone since Tuesday...my cousin Erika has taken over the computer since my cousins and aunt came, myspacin' it up. and playing Dell games. a lot.

I think I mentioned them last summer...Erika, my preppy-ish cousin who's 17 now, and Lauren, her sister who didn't come last year, the goth one who I think is 20 now. and of course my Aunt Shelly who I love to death she's trying to lose weight now and is on Weight Watchers, which is a really good thing. I'm happy and proud of her. I've been exercising with her, actually :] she makes it fun.

so they're over until next Thursday. I've been busier since then, going to the beach and the movies with them...oh my God. I saw the Dark Knight.

possibly...possibly the BEST movie ever. the best movie since Little Miss Sunshine, and for me that's saying something

Heath Ledger was amazing in that movie, and it only makes me so much sadder that he isn't still alive and with Matilda and Michelle and his family...it's one of those deaths that so shouldn't have happened. I don't think it was his time. :\

but he was REALLY amazing. the character, you won't believe it. you'll find yourself LAUGHING as a hospital is being blown up (don't worry, it's evacuated) because of how he's skipping down the steps in a nurse outfit. you're scared of him, and at the same time you're laughing at him, and at the same time you're mad at him but you don't want him to die because somehow you actually like him. usually with other bad guys you're like PLEASE DIE NOWWWW but not him. it's amazing. I have no way to express just how amazing it is. not just Heath. all of the acting is amazing, the plot and storyline and everything...it's just...wow.

If Heath doesn't win for Best Actor I'll be pissed.

as for the reese's dress:

Well...I missed the deadline. I had the perfect idea too, a kind of sweetheart dress that's Reese's cup themed. the top part would have reese's cup wrappers all over it in a pattern, and then the bottom skirt part would look like an upside down reese's wrapper (the brown wrapper, not the orange one, haha) but what happened is that instead of being smart and dying my fabrics brown, I SPRAY PAINTED them. to anyone who's ever had that idea...it's not a good one. it hardened the fabric and made it smell like crap, and ran out before I was even halfway done coloring it. at that point I only had about half the day left until the day was over, and I had a banquet I had to go to, too, and, of course, then everything began to fall apart. my mom threw out the corset top and skirt I was going to use because the smell was so bad and toxic, and we tried to dig for a good replacement, but at that point I'd given up. I figured with all the reese's cups I had to eat to get those wrappers, I might as well save them to make the original idea...and make it really well, too. So, I'm probably just going to end up making it for Halloween or something, since I already have the supplies and the Charlotte Russe shoes for it...which is fine. It wasn't really the prizes that made me want to enter (I could always just buy those things...which I might ), more that the theme was just really cool and gave me this awesome idea, which I AM going to use when I have enough time and am well planned enough.

^ that's basically what I said to , and she said she understood, and had her fair share of disaster stories, and wished me luck with the Halloween costume. so I guess that's that...

I'm entering 's food-themed fashion design contest. (and I thought I'd wear the costume as a halloween costume, just to make more use of it)

but duuude, it's the sweetest idea evaaar and it's gonna win. maybe. if I work hard enough on it. it's a reese's cup dress! it's like a corsetty mini tube-type dress with a big mini pleated skirt that looks like an upside-down reese's cup wrapper, the brown wax one that's jaggedy. then for the top part I'm probably gonna take a BUNCH of brown wax wrappers and fold them all around, like smooth it out at the middle, and then take the edge I made in the middle and glue it to the dress, and keep doing it till it covers the whole front...like a pinata kinda, only poofy and not ugly and cheesy. trust me it'll look sick.

and the back I'll have a vintagey cool-looking reese's logo like painted on, surrounded by candy wrappers like hershey's and milky way and stuff.

well...yah actually it was boring. kinda ish.

so all we did (my mom and stepdad and I) was basically go see Wall-E, which is like the cutest little movie ever and you should go see it cause it makes you wanna adopt little robots like seeing Ratatouille makes you wanna adopt rats...y'know? doesn't it? well anyway yah it was good. and me and my mom have a new phrase for whenever we see fat/lazy people... "Look who just rolled off the Axium!" cause...ya know...the people were all fat, and rolled off of their chairs...because they couldn't...walk...nevermind. :\

after that we watched the fireworks at this point on my street, which is basically on a big hill with a ton of rich people houses on it except for like a quarter of them...including mine...which are like normal size, anyway it's like a clearing that's about two houses long or it would be if there were houses there but there's just bushes and you can see like all of south orange county from there, it's pretty sick. the fireworks were pretty, and it was nice except it smelt really bad like pot and every other minute a car would swerve by blaring reggae music, and I ended up having to walk home alone because my mom walked the dog home and I was gonna drive home with Bill but I got mad at him cause he thought I didn't give him the keys but I did, anyway it was scary cause there were drunk high tourists wobbling around everywhere and looking at me funny because I was wearing some Old Navy blue and white patterned tube top (which by the way is not some south pole chola slutty tube top, I'm not a slut I promise you it's not that kinda tube top, it's like cute and boho/urban/whatever old navy is defined as these daysss. D: ) and white short shorts so I kinda...power walked I guess.

1. Mary!
a. good words? Reeeally pretty, in that natural kind of way. Um…very very veeery talented, artistically. And easy to get along with. For not-so-good words…well, punctual, or so my mom thinks. NOT INTO TRYING NEW THINGS, COUGHCOUGHBRIGHTMAKEUPANDINDIEMUSICCOUGHCOUGH. And…oh, that thing where she doesn’t like staying up late like at all and gets all worried about not sleeping enough because then she gets “sick”…
b. one grrrrrrreat memory of Mary would have to be when we were talking to Zach in English, and Mary somehow wound up writing “I was raped by a horse” on his hand. That became a hit inside joke, I tell ya. Every single day in art… “BUTTRAPE, MARY! BUTTRAPE!” and we’d just diiiie. Even though we got the weirdest looks. hahah…umm what else? Oh, when I slept over at her house, that whole day was one big fat fond memory. We finished geo homework together and then played dramatic fake songs on the piano, and then we watched that movie about the couple and their house kept falling apart, remember? And we drew really…interesting… pictures, and then the next day we went to the ten dollar T-shirt store and got me my UNICORN SHORTS!…oh! At her sleepover, when she kept throwing green dots at me because nobody else liked them x] and soooo many more good ones it’s not even funny.
c. bad memories? Not many. I guess one would be when she stayed up too late and got reeeeally super duper cranky with me. Second bad memory was when I thought she wasn’t my friend anymore, but it turned out the only reason she was being really distant with me was because she was reeeally sad about the whole tate-going-to-break-up-with-her-at-any-second-now thingy. And the worst would have to be at the end of wild rivers a couple days ago, when all the 8th graders from all the schools went, y’know, and we got off the bus at the school and mary kinda started tearing up a little because she was thinking about how tate basically broke up with her, and I just went over and hugged her real hard and got a liiiiiittlee bit teary too (I QUICKLY hid that, typical of me xD ) and it lasted for like two minutes but felt like two sucky hourssss.
d. she is sooo important in my life. Without her, I wouldn’t go to OCHSA with anyone I knew and I’d be scaaardeded. I wouldn’t have a bestie that was so amazing and artsy yet humble and also fun and…ohhh Goddd, I’d suck wouldn’t I?
e. she’s inspired me to like, fulfill my potential. Maybe not my fashion potential and bright colors potential, little miss everything-must-be-either-natural-or-turquoise. seven x] the one I was born in, the one we moved to when I was a year old, then my dad died and I was about four or five when mom and I moved to a condo, then she married Bill and we lived an an apartment for a year. This was all in chino hills. Then we moved to sc, where we lived in one of the new neighborhoods for around three years. I call that my childhood home cuz I was such good friends with all the neighbor kids there, like Chloe and Summer and Reese…had so much fun there. Then we rented a house more downtown san clemente area ish for about a year, then we moved up the huge hill into our normal house that looks so little compared to all the huge mansions a few houses away…and I think that’s it! My mom and Jenay both start freaking out because they both love the Killers. They bug me about it all day and it makes me jealous and sad and such. They go over to his mansion (since he probably has one) in like England (cuz he probably lives there) and have a magnificent feast, and he sings to them. Then I jump through the window in a jealous rage and steal him away. And his fancy china plates.

2) 9 tries to get 5 to go to a strip club.
My dog is really creeped out that a robot from the future has appeared out of thin air and is inviting him to a strip club. He doesn’t even know what a strip club is, or how the robot can speak fluent Leonberger, but he thinks that maybe the strip club has food and bones and cookies and squeaky toys there. So he goes. And is scarred for life.

Poppy’s. But I’d force Matt to come to her house and we’d have a huge sleepover, mostly just of us staring at him in awe and making him play his electric guitar thing with his amaaaazinggg guitar skillllzzzz. two movies that I will force you at gunpoint to see. shinytoygunpoint. why? because they rock, and I like carahs hair, and also I probably would be too pussy to actually handle a real gun.

so one was lars and the real girl, which is hilarious and cute and adorable and everyone should do see it now and ryan gosling is adorable and sweet and shy in it and like delusional and yah. if you like juno, napoleon dynamite, indie type movies, I highly suggest it. :]

the second one was sweeney todd which everyone else in the world has already seen except little childrens and elderly ladies who don't like watching fake blood and throats being slit and made into pies. not my main hobby either but hey, it's theatrical blood. plus everyone, even the little orphan kid and the guy who played borat and the old hag, are like all amazing singers. it's amazing in a creepy why-does-everyone-sing-so-good way. damn I love that movie except that at the end - nevermind. can't tell you. but just so ya know everyone dies except for like 3 people.

not to mention my first slasher film. WOOTWOOT

I went to youth group on thursday. and poppy was all "HI *HUGHUGHUG* COME EAT FROSTING WITH ME" and remi was like 'blahblah oh, hi *hug* blahblahblah' and kyle was all "huhuhu yay ochsa *hug*' and thomas the leader guy was all 'hey kendall wassup *double hi-five* you haven't been here in forever I like your hair all curly like that kay bye *side hug thing*' and johny was all "HEY *hug* guess what I'm going to ochsa too! watch me play the drums in the big churchy room now!' and we went upstrais and kathryn was like 'OMGOMGOMFG HIIII *HUGSTRANGLEHUG* come sit on the couch nooowwww' and so was brooke and everyone else in existence hugged me and then we played that game we always play and then we sat down and the worship guy worshipped and then josue and sonny came back from walmart and then the preachy people preached and the prayer people prayed and stuff and then we left and were like "JEEEEEZZUZZZ" and waited outside for our mommas to pick us up and josue came up to me and was like 'hey kendall! hi! hiiii *hug* he so I missed you you haven't been here in forever! oh, you were in hawaii? thats chill. go away kyle I know you were too. -side conversation between me and kyle until he leaves but comes back- so anyway here, have a warhead you're welcome oh I saw you today in the car, that big black truck thingy? yah on pico. that one.' and I was like 'hahaha why do you always see me like everywhere and I never see you?' and he's like 'hahah I dunno haha" and kyle's like "huhuhu hey johny's lying about ochsa. just kidding' but that was too late cuz I was already like 'JOHNY WHYYYY' and he was like 'no rly I'm going, for cereal' and I was like 'YAY OCHSA BUDDY *DOES OCHSA DANCE*" and then poppy was like 'KENDALL YER DADS HERE' and josue was gonna say something but I was like 'kk I hafta go bye' and hugged poppy and left.

but yah. I really, truly feel satisfied for the first time in my life. And blessed, and grateful, and happy to be alive and have a purpose in life.

oookay, you all have no idea where I'm getting at so lemme explain.

so last thursday I went to my youth group and totally forgot that they were going with the high school youth group to a winter camp up at Pine Summit on Big Bear mountain, and i thought 'oh well it's tomorrow, I'm too late'. but after a while, it's hard to describe, but I could literally feel God tugging at my heart. something inside me told me that I had to go, and when I convinced myself not to because I had too much homework I felt this immense guilt out of nowhere, like I'd miss out on something amazing or something. well, wendy, one of the leaders, said there were still open spots and I asked my parents, they said sure and even better they picked me up from school early so I could do my homework. so I already was feeling good out of this because it let me skip science and PE xD

so after I was all packed (my mom totally overpacked...I only had snowboots for shoes and then a whole bunch of ski clothes which I didn't even have to wear because there was snow but it wasn'yt snowing and freezing...luckily I had my skinny jeans so I wore those and a couple shirts and Remi's black uggs xP) and ready I got on the bus and it was fun. and me and mitch raved to techno on Gage's mom's iPod. and we stopped at In-N-out and then the rest of the way I slept on poppy :]

we got there at like 8pm ish. so we worshipped and unpacked in our rooms which were like attached to each other so I could like cross a room from a door in mine and say hi to Poppy or somethin, and they were pretty big. me and katelyn (dunno how to spellll itt) and kami joined together 2 beds to make a big one for us. of course I got the crack part Dx then we had free time and it was fun and katelyn and kami were talking with me bout how josue (basically it's like hoes-way. that's how everyone spells it xD or hoesweiner if you wanna be Gage) likes kami and thinks I'm hot. and I was like 'oh that was josue??? why'd he cut his flippy hair off dammit!!! :K'

so the next day was funnest. we did stuff. hahhaaa no intetubing tho. but we had lotsa free time so that was fun. josue asked kami out and she rejected him and um we ate and ran around in the snow and hung out and the lounge. oh god...saturday night was so sad. the worship and stuff was so sad and emotional. they told us to just go anywhere in the room and be prayed for and just let it all out basically. it really touched me but I didn't cry, just felt sad. remi and katelyn and poppy and brooke all were bawling tho...poor poppy was lying on the floor face first. she wouldn't come up for a long time. so me and josue and some high school leader just kinda did the silent praying thing, where you just kinda place your hand on them and comfort them. so after that little jesus camp moment I went with poppy to re-apply her makeup cuz it was all runny. then more free time. and brian was talking like bill cosby and I was all 'you gotta say some made-up cosby-sounding word like...RAZZLE-SNAZZLE!!!' and it was hilarious and is like our inside joke. only like with ten people. and we stayed up til midnight at the lounge playing the ha/ninja/whatever game and watching the guys do full-on wrestling matches. really. it was pretty damn hardcore. like there was a little blood. O:

sunday was basically the same only shorter cuz we left at noonish. still super-fun tho. and on the bus me and poppy and brian and johny and remi and gage and josue and jenay (different one, a high schooler i think) were all crammed in the back but it was fun. then I came home and crashed.

I seriously got so much out of that though. I understand why God wanted me to go. I feel truly blessed. I understand God and feel closer to him, and especially closer to my friends, especially poppy. and I made so many friends that were just acquaintances before. and I found out that remi is actually really chill. and josue likes meh. but I feel bad for him cuz if he ever asks me out I'll hafta be all 'oh sorry. my parents are like katelyn's dad strict, only not in the I'm gonna beat you up/kill you/eat you if you touch my daughter kinda way. but still.' but I think he already knows from poppy and katelyn. oh well. he shouldn't have cut his hair xD hahaha jk. that'd be mean if I rejected him for that Dx I'm not sure if I like him back tho. oh wow.

so. um.

I WENT TO DISNEYLAND TODAY.

IT WAS FUN.

AND HAPPY.

MY FEET HURT.

this basically goes on for a couple paragraphs so if you're one of THOSE watchers that doesn't care about me and only reads these for the updates scroll down to the ***** thingy down there. it'll take a while just so ya know. Because when I have absolutely nothing to do, and am hyper and delirious at the same time, it gets ugly. and LONG.

so anyway. where was I? oh yes. disneyland.

so the beginning of the day was pure crapola cuz my mom was bugging me about being passive aggressive or something and threw my toast in the sink and we had a catfight RAWR and so then I went to school. even though I had the day off I still had to go to zero. which is GEOMETRY.

joy.

yes. so I suffered through the quiz and Mr. McClean telling me I had to do my homework even though I'm gonna be gone the whole day and won't get back til late, and I'm gonna hafta manage on the freakin bus, . oh btw I didn't do it. not goin to school tomorrow. that'll be explained later. so we got on the bus, I forgot my cell phone, mom brought my outfit for the performance (for those of ya who don't go to my school...I'm in Madrigals, this advanced singing class, and we made it into Disneyland, got free tickets and everything) and was like 'im not going back to get yer damn cell phone, we're gonna leave soon', and then she got put in charge of like two groups (she volunteered to be a chaperon), not mine, and so then she was like pssssh eff that and almost made me move out of MY group to HERS so I could be with her and I was grumpy and tired and finally Calhoun made it so that she was in my group. phew.

so then we got off the bus and the rest of the day was heeeellllla fun. we went inside and me and Claire and our mom's went on the Alice in Wonderland rides and the Thunder Mountain Railroad thingy and Haunted Mansion. then we ate at this kinda healthy restaurant and Madrigals all met and Toontown and we performed. I had a solo. apparently everyone though I did really good but I dunno. on my mom's cell it sounded kinda forced. maybe that's just be being hard on myself tho

after the performance which I thought we did pretty good on, we had the whoooole day from like 3-ish til 6:45 off :3 so I ended up with Sharkey and Elle first, we went on pirates which is awesome now cuz Jack Sparrow's in it. then my mom ditched Claire and her mom and found us, we walked for a while and my mom pulled me away and was like 'kendall give them space, you're being a third wheel' which I kinda was cuz like every time they'd hold hands or something which was like the WHOLE DAY I'd hold Elle's and we'd skip and Sparky (yes Sparky. lawl. you wouldn't understand) would be his emo self and just walk instead of skip and I think I ruined their moment xD so anyway. then me and my mom went to Space Mountain (ZOMG FLIPPIN AWESOME YOU NEED TO GO. NOW. SERIOUSLY.) and Elle and Sharkey went to Haunted Mansion

so then we met up again and went in line for Indiana Jones but it closed down so we left for Space Mountain and went on again cuz that's just how much it owns. and the picture at the end was freakin priceless. Elle's mouth was like wide open and her eyes were like AHHH and Sharkey was giving a thumbs up and his hair was blowing everywhere and I was behind him but I'm like waaaaiiii shorter so it looked like I was eating his hair. cuz my mouth was wide open. plus I was making like dinosaur claws so it was like RAWR I EET YOR EMOE HAUR :K and my mom was screamin her head off, and the guy in the back was just chillin. so yahhhh. and then we split up agaaain. dunno what Sparky n Elle went on but me and my momma got a bday present for my princess-obsessed little cousin Paulina, walked down Main Street and got some chocolate...oh and back at Tomorrowland I got me a fancy Loungefly wallet. like FANCY SHMANCY with all the credit card slots and the dollar slots like everywhere and the little coin part. and it was kinda disney with the mushrooms and hearts and such. I almost got a little tote bag instead that was actually Disneyland but it was too little for me. I like big tote bags :3

I don't exactly have a digital camera yet but I'm planning to save up for one. And when I DO get it I probably won't be able to take any pictures of me because my parents are like overprotective and all that dandy stuff but until they get over it I'll just take pics of whatever I think makes a good stock.

and in the meantime I'll just do some textures or borders or something that someone could use in a photomanip or something. :]

and my amazing picture is aaaalmost done 8D I'll scan it sometime this weekend. fer shure.

cuz we watched "Arctic Story" or something like that just now. And it followed the lives of a baby polar bear name Manu and a baby walrus named Seala from when they were little tiny little oosa boosas :3 (thanks a lot Lindsay xD) to when they were all grown and had little oosa boosa babies. and Manu had her twin brother and momma and a little random arctic fox that followed them around, and Seala had her momma and Auntie :[ and through their entire depressing lives global warming was getting worse and worse and you could so tell. seala almost got eaten like a billion times, and this one mean polar bear killed her auntie cuz auntie was trying to save her. and like a year after long travelling and starvation and the mean polar bear guy not sharing his food Manu's weak little brother (I think his name was like umbrella???) dies in the cold and then when she's two the mother has no choice but to abandon her. and then foxy gets lost and manu's all alone and she travels in the ocean for days and almost drowns but finds a little island thing. but then mean polar bear wont give her food, but then he turns nice and shares. aaanyway, the ending is slightly happy because seala and manu end up kinda sorta happy with little babies and stuff, but still you can tell by their faces that they're kinda hopeless by the ice melting and stuff...

God, global warming is so depressing. ;~; srsly. If you watched that movie you get like so attached to the animals...and they like suffer because we use gas-guzzling cars and leave our TV's on and stuff.

I dunno. It's just...sad.

they said at the end that by 2040, if the weather continues to increase there will be NO ICE in the arctic ocean.

I have a bunch of sketchbook assignments and random pictures from my Adv. Art class sketchbook I could scan but I had to turn it in on Friday. I might be able to scan the ones in my old sketchbook tonight or tomorrow...but I might forget because I'll be too busy w/ history day.

so just a heads up I guess. not much else going on. all the pictures I've submitted have really been just sketches from a while ago that I never colored...and I think I've done all of them so it's time to make some new ideas.

Im at my Aunt Cindy's still...been here fer a few days with my cousins. now its just me, Marissa & Nicole (cousins...mah age) , Aunt Cindy, M&N's friend Ashley (shes cool) and Duke, this dog the cousins are watching for the holidays :]

so we made oreo truffles that my mom taught me to make and aunt cindy bought sum 'champagne' and poppers and we went crazy when it was new years and did the poppers outside and had a full-on confetti fight, except Aunt Cindy who stayed out of it, and Duke was barking like crazeh :3 and now we came back in and the cousins and ashley are downstairs doin guitar hero...and um marissa was trying to dress like me for some random reason like 5 minutes ago so shes wearing all mah bracelets. xD

so um, sorry for the late journal, was gonna post one on xmas eve...but anyway.

merry christmas!!! and um happy hannukah, kwaanza, ramadan, or just plain winter, and whatever else I'm missing :]

yah...xmas eve was crazy...baking and wrapping up a storm O: but it was fun. yupp.

christmas wuz better!!!!

I got sum good stuff. besides candy? some rainbow fingerless gloves, cute black knee highs with snowflakes on top, a few pinky wear tops and a 50 dollar pinky wear gift certificate, some nail polish and makeup, a pretty necklace, hello kitty pjs, adorable rain boots...all from my parents and 'santa' xD but best of all...our family got a PS2!!!!!

thats like the first time in forever that weve ever gotten a real video game!!! and Bill got some stuff to go with it...some old fashioned arcade style games, kingdom hearts, sly cooper 2 and best of all Guitar Hero 2!!! :] I ish haaaapppeeeeeehhhh!

so then I went to San Diego to celebrate christmas with the perez side of our family. The cookies me and mah momma baked were a hit, and they had RLY GOOD lil smokies :3 and there was a jumper...so after that and dinner it was present time...the babies were showered w/ gifts but I got some nice things. my cousin angel, who's actually right next to me right now xD, got me a hot topic gift card. my aunt and uncle got me a really cute volcom sweatshirt. uncle bill gave me a 15 dollar iTunes gift card, and grandma gave me a scary Bobby Jack sweater O: but even though I was all smiles about it she knew I hated it and told me shed take it back fer store credit. and then Aunt shelly and lauren and erika, even though theyre way in Albuquerque, sent me some victorias secret lotion , and a Hello Kitty pohone charm and another 15 dollar iTunes gift card.

and after presents was the dreaded karaoke (the kind that our drunk parents sing every time we go to Mike and Merea's xD) that Angel and Shaylynn and I hid from :[

and then angel came home with us for a couple days and we went to grandmas and here we are!

it was fun, and we drew sum stuff with angel's new GIANT art kit and made jewelry and played guitar hero like geeks :3 the only person I felt bad for was Bill my stepdad who had his tonsils taken out and couldn't eat for a couple weeks...that included xmas dinner. I know...he had to have chodizo and mashed potatoes :/ poor guy. at least we got him some nice and violent video games. xD

so enough about me. I'll post some stuff later hopefully. In the meantime I'll be enjoying break and I hope you all enjoyed yours! I'd love ta hear from you all 8D

First off.
RANTING TIME.
yay?

So, I have like ten pictures to scan, right? And I'm all excited cuz I think that my scanner is finally fixed and people won't think I'm dead anymore andand I can enter sum pics into the 100 themes challenge and ETCETERA. So. I scan the first one, right? and it makes the little beepy sounds and such, and it's all ready, and I get ready for HP Imagezone Express to pop up so I can transfer the picture to Paint like I usually do -

BUT NO. OF COURSE NOT.

A little error message box pops up instead and says some crap like "Runtime error! Program: C:/saqnbjabajdsaghdvksjvdskjvad. Abnormal program termination." and I was just like 'WHATTHEDUCK' and started ranting at my scanner (because I'm home alone and I tend to do weird things, like strike up a rant with a scanner, for example, when home alone o.o) and then I stopped because I realized it wasn't helping and I would have gone all ghetto on its ass and started kicking and shanking it and such...but then I was like 'oh. that won't help much either. that'll just screw it up moar' and I was just like 'okay. deep breaths kendall. now lets fix this peice a crap' and here I am.

Well...look on the bright side. I DO hafta wait till my momma gets home so she can log me in to her account which is administrator-ish so i can see if I can scan the pictures there. Like, if I ever get one,(which would be 2 years from now probably...one year if I'm lucky like Mary) we'll probably hafta watch a movie at my house instead of go to one alone. T.T Sad, I know. Kay, so I was gonna do a Pondo journal, but I couyldn't, because the whole 5 days that I was at camp we didn't have Internet access unless someone sent an email to the camp's email and they printed it out for us...so when I finally got home Friday, I only had time to check stuff, because I had to start packing for Oregon the /next day/. So I pack, go to bed early, and wake up at 4:00 IN THE MORNING. :dies: I sit in a crammed little hybrid for hours, reach the airport, and land in Oregon, where the only computers I can find for three days are either crappy dail-up, and usually I can't even find /that/. So finally I get to the hotel computer. But I hafta type quick, or the stupid thing will time out in 15 minutes. T.T

So, now that all the negative crap's out of the way...wait, here, I'll make a list of it all so it doesn't bother me anymore. xP

1. comp issues (already explained xP)
2. It's been a month since Mischa...you know...and I'm /still/ not over it, like the sap I am D:
3. I spent all my allowance to go to Pondo (like 150 bucks, which is half of it, because of all the other stuff my parents have been paying for like our yard and the puppy, who's altogether like 3000 bucks O: ) and all my extra cash on the stupid snack bar >.<

4. um...what else? My favorite headband broke, altidtude hurts my ears, summer's almost over? Oh, and during this game at Pondo I knocked over some megaphone guy cuz of stupid Josh Fanning being all competitive and pulling the rope so hard it practically made me- okay, I'll save this for later o.o Oh, and...

So I saw a new vid of him on the website a couple days ago...AAAAHHHHHHH :333 I can't frikin wait...

Oh, and Pondo! Funfunfun. Hopefully I'll do it next year...anyway. No, it wasn't your typical little s'mores and campfire songs, hiking and canoeing little campy thing. It was...different. But still fun. It was all Christainy...ish xD the theme was two italian mobster families (Benedetto & Giovanni), so they split all of us youth groups from everywhere into 8 different teams, each with some fake gang member's name (weird ones too, like Bruno Brow or Rocco the Mole...you get the point...) Ours was the only girl's only team, called Vinnie Pretty Boy. It was all the girls in our youth group. So we did all these competitions, and cheers, and The Ultimate Cheer, stuff like that. Our church's awesome worship band that should be famous (Gary Rea - I think he's on iTunes) was the band there. There was a zipline, a pool, partays, and this really cool "Jamexican" (yes he really calls himself that) speaker dude named Sabo. He taught these really understandable messages that made me understand the whole God thing a LOT more. And even though you may be all "um, so you're telling me that for 5 days you've been going to church and some puny zipline? Yah, funfunfun my ass" or something xD BUT IT WAS FUN...inj it's own way. Maybe for me it was the fact that I got actual FREEDOM for once...and I got to hang out a LOT with Jenay and Bridgette, who are probably the friends I get to hang out with the least D: I barely ever get to hang out with any of my friends anyway, because my mom is...you know...one of those moms. This was actually like a topic that came up in buzz groups (or small groups) when the topic was parents. My parents got high marks on this test thingy, for everything BUT trustworthiness in ME D: or freedom, for that matter. You get the point xD

So...Oregon.

...FUNFUNFUNFUNFUN. FUN.

So, after the plane ride we went to this thing called Saturday Portland Market or something. At first my mom and I were making fun of it, like "ooh, we're going to the bonanza" cuz we just thought it was some little swap meat. NUH-UH. It was FUN. They had all this cool stuff there. Amazin food xD I got some Urban-Outfitters-looking-type knee-length green skirt thing. You'd think it would look horible on such a short person, cuz long skirts usually /do/ look crappy on me xD But this actually was okay...and only 13 bucks, so yah. I also got a little muffin-cap-ish plaid hat with a bow on the side from this adorable little old lady. It was almost 30 bucks but we couldn't say no D: she was seriosuly like eye-to-eye w/ me and - okay, enough. xP

And then I got this cute torquoise top with two hands on it doing that gun-shooti8ng hand motion thing, and kisses were being shot out. The guy called it 'shooting kisses', and I guess the hands were there cuz it's non-violent. 1.) I have the darkest tan in the world and the worst freakin tanline in the world. (think Junior Lifeguards butt-ugly two peice speedo bathing suit thing. Navy blue, too. Yes, that has nothing to do with my tanline, it just adds to the patheticness.)

2.) My arms and legs hurt like HELL from the Iron Man (a Junior Lifeguard thingy consisting of a 1000 yard swim, a 3.5 mile peir run, and a paddle around some 200 yard bouy) I just did like in the noon.

3.) I can't go to my friend's little HP slumber party because only two others I barely know are coming, I only read like half of the 1st book, and my mom was like "YOU HAVE FAMILY AND YOU LEFT YOUR SHOES AT HOME AND WE CANT GO ALL THE WAY BACK AND THE IRON MAN MUST BE MAKING YOU TIRED ANYWAY SO BLAHBLAHBLAH"...typical mom.

4.) My obesed aunt, teeneaged cousin and her random friend who is 18 and smokes came over today. (she came over because she's replacing my other 19-year-old goth cousin who spazzed out and didn't show because of her job, which she doesn't have, and boyfriend, which is basically why she missed her chance of seeing her family she hasn't seen in 3 or 4 years cuz they live aaaall the way in Albequercee. Or something like that, in New Mexico.) They're staying over at a hotel, and tomorrow is a little beach bonfire for the whooole family, or as my mom would like to call it, the Jerry Springer show. This includes my uncle who just got out of jail for getting a DUI and breaking a bunch of things in his house (felonies or whatever), and my grandma who just got back from Miami and has no idea what's going on and is always taking her son's side, like "oooohhh, my sooon, mi leetole miho, he cood nevur doo anyting wrung, hee ees eenocente bluhbluhbluh". Oh, and my 16-year-old cousin apparantly likes to smoke behind her mom's back (because while they went to pick up groceries I stayed with Erika & friend, who both left me for a minute or two to go outside on the balcony and smoke a cigarrette.) and drink a little in front of her (and how smart of my stepdad not to take the margaritta mix with him when we left...), so that's sure to add to the fun. Well, at least they'll have s'mores at the bonfire. :]

5.) When we came home from the hotel of joy, the door was wide open and Milo, our cat, was meowing sadly and pacing around. Turns out our barely-3-months-old, still fat and bow-legged, couldn't swat a fly if she wanted to kitten, Mischa (yes, like Mischa Barton) went off into the wilderness of our backyard that literally, seriously goes off into a real canyon. And it's almost ten. She's been gone for God knows how long and hasn't come back, and even though Milo came back when he was a kitten after he was missing for two or 3 days, and even though my parents are trying to be hopeful, I feel pretty damn hopeless.

Oh, and crappy, too.

So don't even ask me about my comp's bleeping virus, or tell me how bleeeeeping wonderful your little summer is, or....GAAAAH I need sleep, I'm not making any sense.

Oh, and no questions about my art. A lot is done, okay? It's just the freaking scanner and the freaking virus and...and...I need a cookie. Anyone here have a cookie? A cupcake would be fine too. Or a -
