I'm alive! And back on deviantart!

Also, I suck. Because I have NO new art to post. But now I'm on break so I can work on something. I got prismacolor colored pencils for my birthday, and I'm soooo excited to use them!

My test out happened on May 3rd, they said I'd have my results wihin two weeks, and I still haven't gotten them back yet. ARGGH!

I'm taking a US History test-out on May 3rd, and studying is consuming my life.

On a happier note, I'm doing costumes and make-up for Willy Wonka! That's coming up in a little less than a month, but I'm not ready for it to be over. Even though I won't miss this particular show like I do Les Mis, I'll still miss seeing everyone on a weekly basis.

I'm super excited to be seeing Wicked in August!!!!!!!!! I've been listening to the music obsessively, and I checked out this book from the library called The Grimmerie. It's all this behind the scenes stuff about the show!

I went to the driving range today! It stinks not golfing for the whole winter, and starting again in the spring and stinking at everything.

I've been living at the local theater for Les Mis since sunday the 27th. It was tech week all that week until friday, which was opening night. I wsa there every night from 6-10:30ish or later every night. It was amazingly awesomely FUN! they had kiss someone on the cheek day, but I didn't know it, so it came as a surprise when I was kissed like 4 times in a row for no apparent reason. Then they had lovely ladies day on opening night, and aload of boys came in funny clothes, like fuzzy hats or kilts. Opening night was AMAZING!!!!!! We blew the audience away, people were crying left and right. After the performance we went to Max and Erma's, where they tried to cram all of us plus the families, in one corner of the resturaunt. They had to bring in a bunch of extra tables, and in doing so, blocked the ice-cream sinday bar form sight. I of course, had ordered ice cream, so I passed the dich down to the people next to the bar, and they PILED on EVERY topping there. I was SO sugar high.

Then, we had two shows on each saturday and sunday, and every one was incredible, again, the audience was astounded. Then we had two school shows for kids on field trips, one Monday, one tuesday. On Tuesday, the fire alarm went off at one of the most devastating and dramatic points on the show. So, the dead people had to get off the stage, the audience was evacuated to across the street, and all the performers, including those in the dressing and make-up rooms, had to go out back and stand in costume, in the cold for 15 minutes while the firemen came in their truck to check everything out. All this, even though we all knew it was only because of the smoke machines used for special fx.

So, when we got back to the show, everything went smoothly. Until our Thenardier hurt his knee, and had to use Javert's cane for the wedding scene, and the show ended, and everyone brkoe down in tears during bows and everyone ran around hugging everyone else on stage, while the audience sat there and just stared at us like we were freaks. Seeing everyone crying, even the guys, was the most depressing thing I've ever seen. I'm so sad, I feel like I have nothing to look forward to or anything now that this is over. If you've ever been in a show with such a great cast that feels like family, you'll know how I feel. We'll never be together to perform Les Mis again.....WAIT! there's still the cast party....

OKay, congrats to you if you read all that. Now for the next topic.

My brother got his tonsils out yesterday, and right next to him in prep and in recovery was the guy who play Thor on Hannah Montanna!!! ONGOSH!!! My brother was surgery buddies with a famous person!!!!!!

Lastnight I dreamed that I was in this theater that's near my house for a rehearsal for Les Mis, and then my mom showed up with a cake that she made for me. Then I was sitting in a big red chair, and some guy came up and started stuffing his face with my cake, using his hands.
Then it changed, and I was at a water park in the lazy river. Then the same guy who ate my cake was pushing my intertube from behind, so I went really fast. He started talking about making a current or whirlpool or something. Then my dad started talking about horses. Then I woke up.

And I've had even more bizzare dreams in the past. Maybe I'm crazy....

I just reread The Princess Bride, which is by "S. Morgenstern", abridged by William Goldman. My edition includes the 1st chapter to the sequel, which will probably never be written/published. So I looked up Buttercup's Baby (the sequel), and found out that S. Morgenstern is a fictional person! Goldman wrote about him in his abridging notes as if he really wrote the book, when really, there never was an unabridged version! Goldman used Morgenstern too add a deeper level to his writing! How crazy is that?!?!?

now i feel very stupid for not knowing this.

Okay, so I haven't seen anybody from the theater group that I helped with in ages, and all of a sudden, I've seen 3 or 4 of them. Doesn't seem like a lot, but whatever. The people I've seen actually remember me and know who I am. I have to say, I was supprised. I feel like I got to know everyone, but they didn't get to know me. I sat at the long table with the director and other important people, so I got to see and hear everyone, but never actually talked with them. I wish I had talked more. Ahh well, maybe if I start going to Les Mis rehearsals.

On halloween I was Belle, from Beauty and the Beast, wearing her blue and white dress. One really old woman thought I was a milkmaid. grrr...

Does anyone know what the musical miss saigon is about? I am too lazy to look up a decent synopsis.

YYYYAAAAYYYYY! they better be good.

I saw a movie called Sarah Landon and the Paranormal Hour (or something like that) with my friend Faith. It wouldn't be scary to most people, but I am a wimp and spent 1/2 the movie with my hands over my eyes.

The librarian who checked out my books ofr me told me I had beautiful eyes, and then a woman at church told me the same thing. I looked at my eyes in the mirror, and I don't think they look any different than anyone else's eyes.

I am helping out with costumes for a local production of Les Mis!!! very exciting. I did the same with beauty and the beast. Hopefully I can go to a rehearsal soon, I've just been doing research at home. I could write about beauty and the beast all day, and how much fun that was, but I'll spare you.

I went to the tailgate with 2 friends. I ate ice cream out of a bag from a carvel man. We were laughing becaus we had never eaten bagged ice cream. HAHAHAHA. Our team won. YAY!

On my way home from golf on thursday, we were driving past a gun range, and across the street from it was a cemetary. I thought that was ironic.

And my random facts are....*drum roll*.....

1. I love the sound of yodeling. I like it so much, that I learned 3 simple yodels.

2. I lived in California for 1 and 1/2 years. Two months of which were spent in a hotel.

3. I am one of 3 people I know of who can lick their elbows.

4. For about 1/2 a year, I had lower back problems that caused intense pain whenever I sat down or stood up. So, for 6 months, I carried around a blue inflatable donut shaped cushion to sit on. It was extremely funny seeing peoples faces at school when they saw me in the hall or sitting down on an intertube.

5. Whenever I see tragic heros (or villans) in movies, I really want to give them a hug. But, since they're usually fictional, I can't.

6. I love to read an write retellings of fairytales. Working on a Beauy and the Beast novel at the moment, and have written 2 poems. The Beauty and the beast one is one of my deviations. The Cinderella one is not, and won't be until I revise it.

7. I am a hopeless romantic

It was sooooooo AWESOME!!! We screamed our heads off and got really messy. One night at dinner we had to eat spaghetti, corn (off the cob), and a breadstick with no hands. We looked like animals with our faces in our plates like that! Chapel was great, our speaker was unbelievable! I learned so much, I can't even express it here.

OH, and I finished the Harry Potter book within 12 hours of getting it! It was SPECTACULAR. I'm not going to spoil anything, but I hope everyone enjoys it who's reading it. I LOVED it!!!
