THE BASICS: write a Christmas/Holiday wish list. It can be any 10 wishes you'd like to have granted, no matter what they are. Possible or seemingly impossible. People look and grant the wishes if they can. It's not about "OMFG PRESENTS", it's about making someone else's holiday a little brighter by giving. Personally, I get more out of giving than receiving sometimes. It's just a good feeling to give.

STEP ONE

** Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

** If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. In this case, you can always just note someone on dA.

** Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!


STEP TWO

** Surf around your friend list to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

** If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

** You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

5. Being that I'm at my last semester of college, I definitely want to end my time in St. John's University on a really good note. My grades... aren't exactly what I want it to be at right now, but certainly... I want to graduate in flair and style and awesomeness. :boogie:

4. Money in general. Sure I have stuff stored up in saving accounts, but more would definitely be nice, esp. once after I graduate.

3. That said... I need a job. I'm not looking atm for anything that's like... insanely good, but I certainly don't want to bore myself in a fast food restaurant. If anything... Alas, not why I'm here. And this is something that is more suitable to be in my LJ, but I feel like I have to put it out there. Of course, if you don't wanna read this really long wall of text that is coming up, there's a shortened version at the end of this journal.

There's a lot of things that can annoy me, but not enough to royally piss me off. But... those who really know me know that there is a few things in life that I hate the most. I hate to see a friend sad, because I cherish a smile from a friend a lot. I also hate when people use my friends against me, because I never would purposely intend to hurt a friend.

I know a few of you that would be reading this already know enough about me to know the fact, but for other people I just want to put this out there: I care a damn lot for my friends. There would not be me without friends. I wouldn't be here right now without friends. They make me for who I am, the person I am today. For that I am grateful.

It just really makes me concerned how there are some people that spread lies about me, saying I did this or that bad thing to a friend, or that I'm some goddamn sham. It isn't a joke, and it's not something I would ever do or be. And when some people believe it... even my own friends... I wouldn't know what to do with myself because why the hell have I become an object of hate and distrust against the very own people that I care and trust myself?

Sure... I have my haters for different reasons... but for someone to take this route, it's just low. I never would hurt or lie to a friend, and I wouldn't ever want to lose one even more. It's like losing a part of yourself... and that's not something anyone would want to feel.

So... in conclusion to this wall of text...

tl;dr version: I care a lot for my friends. And if I said to you that you one hell of a friend, then I really mean that you are one hell of a friend. You have my word on that.

Well... so much for feeling special @ everyone's profiles has switched to the new layout. lul.

Here's my only gripe: I really liked it back then when during the beta, I could move my content ANYWHERE. Now, nobody has that option because it's limited to "zones." Wtf really.

Hmm... I should probably get another journal layout soon to match up with this new layout. Anyone know of any that includes a scroll section like the one I have to show off my stamp collection?

So far, the MapleTip Holiday Wallpaper is looking swell. Not much to update on it for the past few days, but certainly after Wednesday, I'll finally get around to finishing it. :)

I still need more people to join in though. All you have to do is send me your BannedStory code as a journal comment here.

I might come up with more stamp ideas in the coming days. It really seems fun to make these kinds of stuff. =P

And last but not least, yes I did create an avvie and sig set, but only *MariettaRC can use it. Accounting final tomorrow from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo~

Meh, it's the only final that I'm worried about. Sure I believe I have a B+ average in the class at this point, but I don't know what the hell I'm doing in that class. T_T Oh well... I've gone into finals like this pretty much blind and did decently well, so who knows? =P

Anywho, I'm feeling a tad better thanks to finally waking up on the right side of the bed today. Last few days were miserable to say the least with really bad mornings + BS to deal with through the rest of those days. All in the while of trying to force myself to not appear like I'm hurt or anything.

- MapleTip Holiday Wallpaper: Over the past few days, it's shaping up to be one hell of a wallpaper with everyone taking their places. This is gonna be fun to see everyone's reaction from this. ^^

That said, I need more BannedStory codes. Come on dA people... I know you'd like to be a part of it. =P

- Stamps? Being that I'm on a month subscription, the idea of dA stamps haven't really crossed my mind until now. I might consider making a few... assuming the ideas I have in mind haven't been taken yet. -_-;

EDIT: Ok ok... I've been really messing around with a few dA journal layouts, and I've finally settled on this particular one. Did a few modifications with my splendid knowledge of HTML, and voila... you get the result that you see here. Nice huh?

(I'm such a sucker for orange, aren't I? =P)

Ah ha... you thought I made a new set, did you? Had you fooled lol.

Well, actually I am working on a new set, but this time I'm gonna try it a different way of getting what I need. This time around, I'm gonna make it... public in a sense.

Simply put, if you want to be in my set, all you have to do is post your BannedStory code here in this thread. This time, you only have to loosely base it on your most active character because... for this particular set, you can dress your character up to be anything he/she wants to be for this Halloween.

So yeah... my only condition for posting your BannedStory code is that your character has to be in some sort of Halloween costume and have it on when you export your code and post it here.

And yeah, this is pretty much open to anyone who wants to be in my sig, but slots are limited and by my choosing, so post your BS character code and you might be in this next set. ;)

Anyway, in regards to that CCS wallpaper, I'm probably 1/3 of the way done. I have the plain cityscape background all set, though I feel I might have to add in a few details here and there. My big problem that I have now is trying to make an outline of the Tokyo Tower. Man... that is pain. Currently, I'm using the last few episodes of CCS season 2 as reference for that.

Also, I need to think up of a color scheme to match up with my render. Also easier said than done, but it's not as difficult as drawing the Tokyo Tower.

And two: I'm working on a brand new wallpaper featuring another CCS Sakura render. Oddly, it's for my creative project assignment for Art class lul. It's probably the biggest wallpaper project that I've undertaken to date, thus I need a little help. Mainly, I need a bit of inspiration that involves the cityscape similar to of the Cardcaptor series. Is there pics out there that can help me out? (Pics that include the Tokyo Tower is a big plus).

First there was Language and Culture. It's not too bad of a class, and the professor is pretty nice and funny in a way. That said, she does hint that the class will have one heck of a workload - mostly heavy reading I suppose. Meh... it's tolerable as long as the professor is. ;)

Then there was Probability and Stats. Math is pretty much one of two subjects that I can easily breeze through, so I have no qualms about this one. Even better... the professor here is awesome. Funny and to the point.

Last but not least, there's Art. I can't really give much of a description or judgment of this subject because... the professor never showed up. XD

Oh, I should mention that these are not the only subjects I'm taking. I have three other classes for my Tuesday/Thursday schedule. The three above are my Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule. I'll let you know how my other set of classes go tomorrow. =P

On another note... This is a request to anyone that sees this note: Please please please can anyone make a better drawing of a MapleStory magician? My wallpaper still isn't finished, and I really really need a awesome colored drawing of one to make it fit well. I know I don't have anything to offer atm other than a cookie, but I really would appreciate any help. T_T

:bulletblue: Remember the ordeal with 7/7/07? Yeah... that. Well, I was one of the unfortunate to be invited into one of those weddings. Despite that 7/7/07 is supposed to be a lucky day, the wedding was anything but special. I won't go too much into the details, but you know that the wedding won't go really well when you see that it takes place after a funeral procession. I'm not even kidding... My family arrived to the church a bit early, and we saw a funeral mass taking place. D:

:bulletblue: Next time you go to the Tanger Outlet that's on the tip of Long Island... be very wary of the Taco Bell in the Food Lounge. I swear... after eating those funky tasting nachos, I ended up with diarrhea, nausea, and loss of appetite for 12 hours. Not fun.

:bulletblue: Transformers the Movie is teh awesome, don't you agree? =P

:bulletblue: While we're on the subject on awesome, how about that last Harry Potter book? Yeah... I "so didn't" see that coming. <_<

:bulletblue: On the MapleStory side of things, I've leveled up all the way to 80 with the help of my 2x EXP card. :D ATM, Holy Symbol is almost maxed, and thanks to my HP build, I've become quite the asset over at Gobies.

:bulletblue: Last but not least, quite recently I just got addicted to Lunia. It's one heck of an MMO... actually it's way more than just an MMO since it features arcade-styled gameplay. It's fun and you really ought to try it out. (And if you wanna find me, I'm usually at Square 5. IGN: cut3n3ss)

That should sum everything up. =P Hopefully you've had a better summer than I. College classes are closing in on Aug. 29...

Oh... you don't really care? You just want to know if I made anything recently? I do have a few new avvies and sigs to post up. In addition, I'm going to release an updated version of my MapleStory Magician wallpaper. One slight problem: I want to use a better drawing / representation of a MapleStory magician. SO... if you know of any good drawings out there that I can use, let me know ASAP! I'll use it on the new wall. :D

EDIT2: Regarding the Magician thing... if you see that all of them suck... kinda =P... feel free to make your own representation of a MapleStory magician (in a one-color background). If it's really good... I might just add it to my wallpaper. ;)

Now, with that done with, I can focus on more important matters... like leveling up SageFlip to level 70. :P

My passion is working with technology. My dream is to work with a gaming company. My goal is to enjoy life as it is. My love is with my friends and family (sadly, that's all that there is for this fact...).

I work well with website coding and Adobe Flash. I also use Photoshop as a hobby of sorts. While I cannot draw like it'll save my life XD, I can certainly do some neat stuff nevertheless.

I'm also an avid gamer. I love RTS games and a few MMORPG games (MapleStory being one of them). Much of the stuff that I do is always related to games. XD
