It is safer than Internet Explorer 6 at the moment and it has a built in pop-up blocker. I haven't compared it to SP2 Internet Explorer, but I still heard it beats it out. Firefox uses the Gecko engine, which renders pages more efficiently.

**IMPORTANT** You need to have a Windows OS installed, that means no MAC or Linux computers, only Microsoft Windows ME/2000/XP

First off, you need to get rid of Spyware if you got it (which you do, everyone with an internet connection will...). Spyware is those adds that pop up on your computer that you get when you aren't surfing. They are also search bars you didn't install... Spyware is a program or file that piggybacks in, similar to a virus, but doesn't destroy your computer. Instead, it just installs a cpu guzzling program.

Here are two spyware removers you should use together to eliminate spyware:

Next up you might want to improve your computer's performance. Well, the registry can mess itself up constantly, so you need to fix that...Along with some other tweaks, there is a nice registry repair program that comes bundled with Tuneup Utilities 2004.

NOTE- This program does not overclock your computer, it will finetune certain options so they will be activated to fit your PC. Try not to enable stuff you don't know what it does, try to get someone knowledgable in PC's to help you out with this. You can still use the registry repair and optimizer without help though.

K, last i left off i was talkin bout the film festival, rite? kk, well herez the deal:

We've finished half of the movie, filming that is, and i'm editing as we do it. We only needa do the last scene, and two other smaller ones, then we're finished with the filming. The rest is up to me to edit, produce, figure out, or whatever...lol

N e wayz, all my actorz r doin good, movies' turnin out great, and people are makin some nice remarks when they see my progress.

On another enlightened hand, track season has started, and this week was our first.

Oh my God, highskool track is tuff, lol. The coach, Anthony, works us hella hard, but he'z kewl. Everyday we end up sprinting a little more than a mile (with breaks of course). We do tons of stretching, sprinting, and we work on our form of running.

It's a huge workout, and my legs burn, AHH, they on fire...lol
I love it though, meeting lots of sophmores, juniorz, and seniors, they all kewl. I'm really busy lately tho, hence my mood being "buzy" lol

Film, homework, and track, not enough time to breathe, lol. O well i still visit here cuz u guyz rock my sox. lol cya guyz, hope u all feel the same way

I started my film festival movie and did the opening scene, that is one outta ten scenes done, and it looks real nice. Learned all my techiques, got my equipment, and everything is going great. My main character is NOT a sucky actor, he just needs to get comfortable around cameras, but it will work out fine.

The film festival is an event in which each class (frosh, soph, juniors, and seniors) have their own film. It can be comedy, action, adventure, horror, fantasy or whatever, but you need a script, cast and if it aint good, then the WHOLE SCHOOL will see it and ur in some deep shitty shit stuff.

So me being the computer genius wants to do it, lol, Y NOT?!? do some kewl effects and get mucho popular in my freshmen year, cuz yea i needa meet every1 at the school...sooo

I came up with this pimp a$$ story of a horror movie with an escaped pycho who tracks down and follows these 3 kids...I know exactly how to build up suspense, with the music and scenes and all..but i never thought about EVERY aspect of the movie

1. First problem was I felt that anyone who went on camera and would be pro in a movie...didn't take into effect that not everyone feels comfortable in front of a camera.

2. Second off, I didnt realize how much my footage looks like home video, and i hadn't studied professional camera tricks at all.

3. I also didn't realize that audio is so hard to capture right. I mean, if i don't record everything right, then I have to do voiceovers, and who says that the actors can do those very well?? ahh maaaan

SOOO...for the last week, I created and finished my script, tweaked, repaired, and fixed it TWICE and then recruited my full cast. The main character of which is not a great actor, so i may have to cut him and bring in another or just cut his whole character and redo the whole script again....
Huh, then the techinal problems...When i capture video it isn't the right size 720x480...i want it bigger, i want the picture precise, and beautiful, like movies...so i went surfin on da web waves for awhile and found out lighting techniques, focus techniques, AE techniques, filters, AND coding and de-interlacing.
AHH, my head is gunna explode with all of this new stuff i've learned and I'm still having difficulties with getting the captured video to look good..and i'm running outta time. We are gunna start film on monday during school hours (cuz we dont have school).

SOOO, to counteract all of this, i've learned capturing techniques as well, i went out and BOUGHT an 80 dollar directional microphone that self filters out noise and ambient sounds not neccessary...I've learned how to manually control focus filters, and AE+ filters, and to top it all off i've been downloading video codecs up the ying yang...oh and i learned how to create the "professional" video feeling in my films, so that problem is toasted now.

I havn't had time to breathe lately and once i get this last decoding thing down with the footage i can start filming, and cool off, i wanna do like a scene or possibly two a day...i only have 12 scenes, but a month and a half to do it, so i'm okay so far...only time will tell what is up eh??

LOL, well this is the first journal entry that i've written in for THIS LONG, and I know that in the end i will be happy i worked so hard on the film festival...

Also i tweaked my system. I did a crap load of performance tweaks that could only help, check it out at [link]. they have some pimp ass tweaks and it helps a lot, trust me.

And in case any of u are wondering this is my pc statistics:

And uh, that is about the basics...hehe, but i never lag on games, soo sweet!
