So everyone's been up and running recently; I've felt so detached from everyone. It's been extremely stressful with college breathing down our backs and reality's been a phenomenon that's becoming too real (get the gist?). Somehow, having time for something is a blessing.

I haven't picked up a pencil and a piece of paper since... forever! I feel as if my worth, my true purpose of life has diminished. When I tried to draw today, I just couldn't feel it. Lol, I WASN'T FEELIN' IT! XP

Either way, I'm gonna get Photoshop CS3 soon, and I've got a full guide to it ready on my desk. Hopefully, I'll get some photography in before I graduate and won't have time to eat anymore.

I WENT TO SAN ANTONIO!! and had some delicious Mexican food (had gas the rest of the trip O.O; even though you don't need to know that) AND I took a sip of my Mom's Margarita (GASP!) that put a kick in my socks. XD I couldn't walk straight! THE TEQUILA ROCKS THE BOAT! Hint to you guys everywhere...

THEN, we went to Austin, and I saw my dream campus *cough cough* UT... The hilly landscape was a sight to see, yet a tragedy for the feet when you actually EXPERIENCE it. I obtained a couple of callouses as a trophy before we dragged ourselves to the car and drove home. Oh yeah, I gotta talk about the food. We had sandwiches at Potbelly (overpriced but awesome); I think I got the best sandwich; a Pizza sandwich that was too big for my mouth. Heh heh, I had asked the girl to put everything in it, and she looked at me kinda funny (she had to max out the sandwich press).

The first two seasons of Tsubasa Chronicles was a LOT slower than Tokyo Revelations, and Studio IG refused to waste time. It took two seasons to make a storyline with CLAMP, but Studio IG reached the one and only climax of Tsubasa Chronicles in two episodes. Plus, they didn't show compassion towards their characters at all. You'd never think 2-D characters had that much blood in them. I swear, it was pouring and splashing like Niagara Falls...

And, in the end, I reached this conclusion.

1. Syaoran is hot.

2. Fay/Fai is BEASTLY.

3. and KAMUIxSUBARU is the BEST YAOI COUPLE ON THE PLANET.

NEW FOUND INSPIRATION--
I found some good coloring and lineart tips on the web for all you mouse users like moi.
First off, lemme say something that is rather shocking but true.

If you're coloring on the computer. There is NO need to ink your picture before scanning.

In fact, you don't need to even TOUCH your beloved inking pen!

The best way to produce sharp, professional pictures even before they reach your scanner is to input an all pencil (NEAT NEAT NEAT!!!!! NEEAATTTTTT!!!!!!!!) lineart.

Basically if you completely SUCK at inking and don't have a steady hand, and don't have good inking tools AND are used to drawing small pictures (like me)... keep it in pencil.

Work with a thin mechanical pencil, (I use a 0.5 lead) and keep in mind to draw nice and thin. Treat your pencil like you would your inker, and relax.

I find it much more comfortable using a pencil, cuz I can erase. Erasing is life's CTRL+Z.
(Don't you wish you could erase people? DX )

NEW ANIMATION SPECIAL is UP!!! D.O.S. REPRESENT! It took a lot of pain and effort. How did I make the animation of the girl? I traced over a scanned pencil image of her, and made atleast four vector frames of her smiling in PSP8. Then I rasterized all those layers and put the shading in, then the highlights. Then I transferred it into Animation Shop and put in the times. Crud, it took soooooooo FRIGGIN LONGGGG. not to mention I had the rest of the animation to do, which of course wasn't as bad as before.

ahhhh whatever.

What's done is done, what isn't is being worked on. Stay tuned!

If you like cutesy stuff but still gore/violence/war, I recommend the manga 'Moon Boy' by the creators of K2 (Kill Me Kiss Me). It's Korean, not Japanese, but it's funny as heck. You've got your Fruits Basket AYAME type character in there, an Ouran Host Club HONEY type character in there, a bipolar Samurai Deeper Kyo EVIL KYO type character, and even a D.N.Angel DARK type character! Ahhh, I love its awesomeness. I just finished Volume 3. Someday, I will buy them. If you want to know about the storyline, GOOGLE it. It's too complicated for me to explain, but I absolutely <3 it.

New picture up. It's not great but it's 2/12ths of a step closer to finishing my basic character designs for my story BORDERLINE. I like Ruriko's character. Bold, romantic, and determined to protect. YES. ROMANTIC. There is romance in my story, although it's a little brutal. Heh heh. There's a study group today, one for the starting of the semester finals. I don't know if people are gonna be studying or not. It's in our best interest to, buuuut... Ah, whatever.

Oh yeah, I got Jelly Bellies. 50 Flavored ones! There's a margarita flavor and a jalapeno flavor. It taste's like a margarita or a jalapeno! (No there's no alcohol in it) I <3 <3 <3 them!! They're yummy!

P.S. Just for fun! If I were a ninja: My weapon would be the Tessen (Iron Fan). I just found out what you call it. Of course, most of my female characters will have one or two kunai, tessen, and switchblades. Don't ask why.
