Tony did something that very very very much impressed me! I understand that at times I will ask a question or such while not giving the context for such a question. We all know I do it. Well on Saturday afternoon I showed him a manga (It was the first one for Gurren Lagann) with this girl (Yoko Littner) who had a big sniper rifle. He likes those types of guns for their aesthetic-ness as odd as that seems.

I showed him since i thought he would like said gun and I asked "what type of gun is that anyway?"

He said "o It looks a lot like a Barrett M82, thats the gun I like! Its probably based on it"

So anyway, that occurred on Saturday afternoon for less than 5 minutes of me just showing him and him saying what type of gun that was. Then, on Tuesday morning I was just lying on le bed and asked him out of the blue "hey what type of gun did she have again?" and he took a moment.

In that moment I realized he probably didn't know what I was talking about since I had given no context for the question and thusly was already preparing an answer for when he would ask "what girl? what are you talking about?" as most people would. Then, before I could say the context of the question he answered "o yeah. it was a Barrett M82. or at least looked like one".

Now I don't know about you, but I was damn well impressed by that. I just sat there staring at him with my mouth open and everything. I even told him "... I was already preparing to explain what I was talking about since you paused but you already knew." I then thought on it a bit more and realized how very little context I had given ... aka none. All I had said was "what type of gun did she have?" so I asked him "How did you know what she I was talking about?"

Tony replied with "I dunno. I just knew" and again. I know it is a very silly and not very important story but this sort of stuff is what impresses, amazes me and makes me truly happy. He always does these little things that make me happy but in all honesty its these little things that mean the most. He is good people and panders to my sillies. He makes me laugh and introduces me to new things all the time. If I don't know or understand something that he takes as a given, he will explain it to me instead of ridiculing me for not knowing. That part sounds very silly I know but there are people out there who will act condescending instead of explaining. Point is, I am one happy lady <3

the halo guys are to never be asked "hey can you show me what kind of stuff you guys are capable of photoshopping? i do not believe you when you say you can photoshop stuff i wouldnt even believe"

the valve guy was impressed by my ability of bad luck and good luck in L4D. Apparently he proved through using steam that Zoey is the MOST shot character and Bill the least. He found it out cuz he wanted to see if Zoey was the most healed of them all and thusly found her to be the most shot. He then showed me a jacket he was wearing and said "you should own one of these one day" and it was awesome. It was Bill's jacket. I hope they sell them one day D: He also told me to not be disconcerted at my virtual femaleness. Of course they would come back to get me. The game was made coop where they woulod need to come for me. i shouldnt marginalize myself for being a womenz virtual or not.

I seriously <3 Tommy Tallarico! I got to talk to him for a bit and told him how I was able to go to the very first of their concerts three years ago in Los Angeles and we started nerding out and talking about video games. After a bit he looked at my room mate eder and said "you know shes a nerd right. i just gotta say that out right. what we are doing here. thats nerd speak"

The pianist Martin Leung remembered me from three years ago haha! Made me laugh. he is amazing. check him out on youtube yo. He shook my hand and listened to me squeal about how i love his playing and how you can tell he loves what he plays as you can see him get into it. ITS AMAZING! Its like his fingers be clay or puddy or water. they just flow between keys so magically D:

Anyways, so yes, i now have a wonderful tablet from my even more wonderful boy friend and i hope to get more art done because of it!

i also have some new inspiration lying around by the name of Shelly!!!!!!! She lives two floors above me and draws amazing monster creations! We art it out occassionally and she just inspires me so much! i love drawing her creatures because i like seeing her happy face when i draw her creatures! im not exactly sure if she actually is happy, but its my best logicing of why i like drawing her creatures to show her. Maybe its cuz i like her to know appreciate all shes helpine me with? i dunno
She has also lent me two drawing books i've been trying to practice with. They are amazing; one is specializing in faces/expressions and the other in dynamic poses. They are super special awesome and get me going!

Yet when we three are combined, (shelly jordan and i) we can talk and talk for hours. We actually drew all over a pair of pants i have. It was random and stuff which made them wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!

They made me feel important and useful and let me help them out wherever i could.
Chaz was super nice and saved me a seat in the Masquerade. We were 2nd row and right behind the judges. he saved me a seat next to him and the judges! >< Svetlana was to our left by a seat or two!!!!! He gave me a huge sheet of paper and i did signs for those who needed them. The coolest part was that my art was on all the bags ... and most of the signs. i was just so happy and EEEEEEEee ... it was wonderful.


Friday:
ok ... friday night! Got there kinda late and it took them quite awhile to get my room and such. But all in all, no worries. When we got the room itself i dropped off my stuff then found Chaz. He introduced me to the staff members who were up and we all just talked. i felt so special when Chaz introduced me as the person who did the art on the postcard and bags >< After awhile my hunger got too much and so i went to the con suite with my new friend Tony (he was nice. he works for some movie thing and was promoting it). Once there Katt needed Chaz in order to approve whether or not i was allowed any of the food =___=
The consuite was nice too! i met some nice peoples: a guy dressed as Xemnas (Jason), Roxas (Tiffany), and Axel (Candice) (<,< i think i got those names right). Anyways, had uber fun there. The best was at one point some guy was saying that how i played KH II was silly and that to get to lvl 99 i should have just gone to pride rock. i explained that to me, that just wouldnt cut it. He kept trying to say otherwise and eventually Katt said "you dont understand our world" i then went "until you grow boobs and dont have a dick, you wont understand our world". YAY
so yah, went and found Evan James and met Wendy Newton. it was super nice to see Evan! Hes a great person, as is Wendy. i really enjoyed hanging out with both of them!

Saturday:
saturday feels like it was the entire convention ... srzly. i had so much fun its all overloaded in me! i got to help out a lot, i even got to pass out RIBBONS! i was also in the Smash Bros Melee tournament ( i failed miserably, but at least i tried!) and i got to help out a lot!
OH! i went to the Mega64 panel and that rocked! It seems they actually remembered me from the previous year, despite having blue hair that was longer and down while last year it was brown and spiked like Cloud! It rocked ... hardcore it did. i asked them how did they remember me, i had different hair and outfit? they said its because i was "memorable" ... so i talked to some others about it later and they said the same thing. It turns out im "memorable" and stuff. Wendy and others were saying how i am memroable and like the girl from a movied called "Real Genius". That i was perky bouncy energy filled nice and talkative but in a good way! It made me feel so special that people remembered me! this year i also got to give out ribbons that said "chibi"! i chose to give them to small cute things. One guy asked for one and i said no because he wasn't chibi ... he wasn't small or cute. He then asked "what if i randomly became small and cute?"
i said "until then ... no"
he supposedly wanted it because he wanted to get as many as possible. i helped at one point with line managment for the Masquerade and i felt so happy! While doing that a girl came up to me and asked for a chibi ribbon too. She said "im small and cute!" i had none left at that point. The only one i had was on my badge, but i was nice and i took it off of mine and gave it to her. She said thanks and left. A little while later that guy from earlier comes up and shows me that he now has a chibi ribbon. i asked him where he got it but he keeps saying some crap about time paradoxes and such. i kept asking but he wouldnt say. i then thought that he must have gotten it from someone else ... and i then see that girl who i gave mine to and i look at her and ask "... wheres yours?" she then puts up her fan *shes dressed as mr. hat and clogs from Bleach* and says "i have a previous engagment". i saw her again and just say "i am not pleased with you"
she apologizes and gives me an "anime otaku" ribbon to "make up for it". i take it but was just a little upset that they tricked me for a ribbon ... my ribbon. i then see the guy and i say the same thing of "i am not pleased with you either" he then tries to offer me the same ribbon as what that girl had earlier and i tell himt hat.
anyways, during the line thing i also met someone who wokrs with Janime and he is nice. He talked to me while i was doing line management and he was really nice. i got to help out and then i even got to GO to the Masquerade. i find myself doing that a lot. If i find someones art and i really like how they colored it or did something etc, i go to their site and then to their gallery and look for a tutorial. Not very often is there an actual tutorial, but still it makes me wonder. More or less, does anyone else do that? go to the gallery just to see if that person put out a tutorial. i then wonder if its polite to ask if that person could make one, or if people want me to make one or some crap. so yah, answer to any of those would be cool.

My default size of picture is 11 x 14 Bristol board so, yeah.... i would give you the original for teh monnies! Please support me in my dolls! I am in need of money to buy supplies for dolls ... and I can't get money for the dolls yet because I a) dont' have enough skin-tone felt to make them all yet, b) don't have any monies to purchase stuff for the clothes or detail parts of the doll (like um ... hair and clotehs)

Ok, so ... I have the hair ALMOST done. Working on sewing the bangs on. Its being devilish. It looks good from any angle BUT the front one.

And I realized ... I still haven't made him any ears.

Whens somebody's DA Icon is WAY cooler than their deviations. I click a cool icon expecting just as cool art and sometimes you just get total crap.
