we have done 2 days of snowboarding so far and i'm starting to pick it up.

started out with british india- they went OFF!!! so cool! huge grin.

operator please..... didn't expect alot, but they were surprisingly ghood and they did a cover of whip it!

then anti flag.... meh.

grafton primary- rather not bad quite a tight performance

midnight juggernauts GROOOOOOD!! always good

by this stage i had hairspray running into my eyes, and i had to walk to a tap to wash them out.... Lost my spot right up the front

so yeah i washed them out and went for a walk... to DIZZEE RASCALL!! WOO HOO! he went off i gave some big dude a shoulder ride for a bit and just skitzed out the rest of the time so much fun

went back to the main stage and it was a bit packed.... grinspoon were on (meh) but the hilltop hoods were on next and the entry to the D - (the main crowd barrier) had a line about 25 meters long nad didn't look like moving any time soon. so i joined. this was THE squishiest time of the whole day. 1 hour of being packed like sardines trying to get towards the front

so yeah got back in after an hour.... the hilltop hoods had done half their set already. but yeah it was still cool

silvwerchair did an AWESOME performance verrrry jazzy and cool daniel did seem to be stirring a bit of shit with the rage against the machine fans tho opening with emotion sickness... wtf!!?!? lol and then playing annas song at 1/2 speed brave man. all the band are dodging random bottles of water thruought the set. but yeah they closed with freak so everyone was happy.

arcade fire.... OMG! WOW!!~ goosebumps just thinking about it.
sure it would have been cool seeing bjork (cancelleed due to some illness)
but yeh arcade fire went off i had a stupid toothy grin for the WHOLE set, and hot tears of joy of 80% of it seriously the most memorable show ever

and then R.A.T.M. what can i say. holy hell they are the BOMB! i was still right up the front and im like- "im dehydrated, tired, been jumping all day, just say the very chilled arcade fire, im just gonna relax and enjoy this"
WRONG! as soon as they started up i was moshing like a freak and that didn't stop till they closed with killing in the name an hour later WOOOO!!! wow. phew what a day!

and yes i also destroyed my vocal chords screaming for that whole set too.... can't wait for next year!!

it has really nailed home to me that you really can't trust anyone in the world. no matter what. what you can do is accept that you can't control what people do, and make yourself as vulnerable as you please. just don't be too surprised if you get betrayed.
i guess it's pretty sick but i look at who she is now and i am glad that i'm not with her. i mean i still care about her and i don't want to see her life get worse, but i am glad im not married to her.
not too long ago i would have said that would be impossible for me to think that.
we still talk every now and then. (i know, why the hell do i torture myself??) it is pretty depressing having to think about it all, but also good in a way. it really makes me think about where im going. we were both strong/ vocal christians for the duration of our relationship, but she had nothing below the surface. i get angry at myself for not keeping her more accountable, or pressing different issues, but really, she was only ever going to do what she wanted.
anyway now she says she doesn't like christianity. things like "you can't live with someone till you marry them" obviously there are reasons for things like that, and if you've got no commitment there's no point getting married anyway. she freely admits that she beleives it, but she's "too selfish" for it. ridiculous.
i dunno why im writing this, it's just i don't talk about it alot and im interested to see what you guys think.
and yeah i have tried the new relationship thing but i'm really not ready. the pain is so huge it just freaks me out and i cant' think about where it is going without feeling sick.
and just weddings in general make me sick. yeah.... i still have a bit to work through.

and if anyone's wondering, you have to be split up for 12 months before they'll process your divorce.

another thing i have been getting stuck into recently is moding pics of cars. i don't know what the go is, but i just seem to get in phases- i'll just be going flat out with tatt design, then i'll just stop, and do sketches of cars, then photo manip. cars, bloody hell. i can't just get good at one thing, i have to slowly build my skills in every freaking catagory.
Anyway, at the moment i am doing heaps of photo manip of all sorts of cars. i thought i may as well join some car clubs. i am tring to get good, so as much criticism as i can get will be good.
