Uni - Love the people, hate the course, but I've come to the tricky decision of leaving. I've applied for a transfer to Leeds Met, but they're being shit about it because all my courses here are completed at the end of year rather than at the end of the semester, so they can't 'assess my progress'. How much progress they expect a 1st year student doing only 8 weeks of a course they've never done before is beyond me, but it appears to be a big issue to them so somehow I have to fight! I'll be sad to leave, I love all my friends here - especially Dave, Kayleigh, Sam, JD and Matt, who are all such fantastic people - but it just isnt working quite right for me. Gay. Hopefully Leeds Met will give me the transfer, or else I'll have to wait until next year and find a job or something for the rest of this year and try again.

Christmas - Not long soon! Its stupidly close and I've barely bought anything!! *Panic sets in* I really cant wait though, mostly for two reasons; 1) I'll be at home with my friends and family and 2) because then Tom will not be able to say to me anymore 'I'm just doing some work on my Maya project' 5 times a day to me for a whole 3 weeks I have lots of plans/ideas for Christmas, such as mince pie eating, late night shopping in Birmingham, snuggly nights in with a hot choc watching the Disney version of Robin Hood with Tom, going out for a meal at a pub with the tackiest Christmas decorations imaginable with friends I cant wait to see again, having an amazingly drunken New Year...

I know its early, but Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year! xx
