It's my birthday this month and xmas is always a hectic but wonderful time of the year. I just ordered a new doll and she (yes another girl) will be home before my birthday XD, I'll see if I can keep her identity a secret!

I was out taking photos the otherday. And got a few potentially good ones. Downloaded them to the computer and there bleh. Annoyed me so much i finally ordered the canon 70-200mm 4.0L USM , wich should arrive in less than 12 hours ! im so excited , My uncle is back visiting again with all his gear. Everyday we are talking about photography and photoshop, My father is into photography too he has a canon G5 , but im pretty sure his going to buy a 20D soon. My sister in law came around today , i guess the hype got to her too she had a 350D rebel box with her ! so there we were at the kitchen table . an Eos 3000N , 350D , Ixus400 , G5 , my 10D , uncles 20D with 70-200 2.8L IS USM and 1.4 extender (drool) , laptops and all sorts of expensive fun there , with the bay window open. Taking photos of the wildlife as it went past. It was a good day today can't wait for tommorow , feel the hype!

MY uncle came and stayed for a week. He was mildy into photography last time he was here , but this time my god , he had everything. A brand new 20D , a pile of lenses (including that white 70-200 L IS USM i allways wanted) (yet can hardly lift , there so heavy ) i fooled around with one of the macro's but didnt get a chance to use the white one. Anyway just reminded me of how much i enjoyed photography and made me wonder why i havnt been taking any photos. Hope everyone is doing well and in good health. SO after reading a million pages on wich lens for wich situation i started to WANT and SLR. Sadly for me i like digitals because they are so expensive compared to film SLR's. I was wanting a sony but i think ive finally swayed to the digital rebel. So im going to save save save some more. I took some photos with my fathers G5 but the lens was dirty and the batteries went flat so no luck there. So i stole my mums SLR and took the picture.... Now i just have to wait a few months for my mum to finish the film. What i did get is my HOLGA though , i havnt took any photos with it yet and seriously doubt i'll be able to get them developed when i do. Later i got a HP 120 wich was 1 mega pixel and 2 x digital zoom. That kept me happy for quite awhile but it couldn't take macros. I recently got a Sony DSC-P72 3.2 mega pixel 3 x Optical zoom. I am really inspired to be a better photographer after seeing some of the wonderfull work people have done here. There is a big difference between a brilliant photo and a normal photo.
