It's been a month since classes started. And, I'm almost stressed out ;O; and clinical duty almost killed me, thanks to that case study that should be hand written. Why, oh why? Why do they have to punish us? They should let us at least enjoy our last year in school <_<

There has been no further development in our thesis. We need more funds! WE MUST TALK TO THE STATISTICIAN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!

This week, our clinical duty's in San Lazaro. If you haven't heard of it, it is a hospital here in the Philippines with majority of its patients have been diagnosed with TB or any other communicable diseases. As I mentioned in my post in LiveJournal, I might go on paranoid mode because of it. *sprays Lysol on body*

Toycon Day 1 Aftermath

I was having second thoughts since Friday night because only a few Oasistan friends will be there but since there's a chance that I might see *slumberdoll,*blackmage9 and the Tuxedo Team, I have decided to come. Also, I have nothing much better to do that day since lecture proper hasn't started. And so, I went. I'll post only the random highlights of that day.

~Zychez cosplayed once again as Lavi from DGM. I'm not familiar with his character since I haven't watched DGM but I his hammer of doom (as I call it ) OSM!

I finally got a pic of Hard Gay FTW! Must have a pic with him soon! *worships HG-sama*

"DARTH VADER! I am your long lost daughter! I'll join the dark side because I know you have cookies" LOL

I saw *slumberdoll taking pictures of the prints Alodia-san were selling on her booth. I took this opportunity to ask her if I can take a pic of her although I went on shy+nervous mode all of a sudden

I saw *blackmage9 entering the conference hall (?) and I failed to take a pic of her >:

I failed to see the Tuxedo Team because there were way TOO MANY people in the Megatrade Hall or maybe because they arrived by the time I decided to go home D:

I went home afterwards. I was really, really tired. I didn't went to Day 2 because I needed to do some advanced reading for my major subject lecture the following day.

But I'm happy that I got a pic of *slumberdoll and we have a pic together. If I'm not mistaken, it was her cousin (?) who was kind enough to take a pic of us together. Again, thank you very much

But since I already had decided to come, I went there and I'm happy that my Oasistan friends were there. ~Zychez brought almost all of his costumes for us to wear. So yeah, M3 2008 marks my *coughcostripdebutcough* I was that random FF Tactics White Mage roaming around together with the Priest of Dawn (from Lineage II). It was fun and tiring at the same time. Due to this, we, the Oasistans, are already planning for our next cosplay plan. Ragnarok Online characters? Who be the smexy Dancer?

I failed to see *blackmage9, *slumberdoll and *Crissey during the event. Either I didn't saw them in the booth while I passed by or I didn't see them coming OR because there are way too many people in Alodia-san's booth that I didn't bother returning there because I know I'll not be able to see them D:

I saw *Ken-chan-Byakushi cosplaying as Yachiru but I failed to ask if I could take a picture of her *whacks self for teh failure*

I also saw *jactinglim posing for photographers and fans but I only realized that it was her when I read the artist's description on her latest deviation. *whacks self for another failure*

1. My zodiac sign may mean balance but ironically, I suck at balancing between studies and pleasure/rest/recreation. But I try to prioritize my studies because I want to graduate on time

3. I used to be a text addict. Now, I only send SMS when necessary.

~No.

~He's just funny. And I'm only amazed at his taijutsu skills.

~Sorry Sasuke fans but YES, I hate him. I don't like his emo-ness. That's all.

~No but I don't like him either

~YES!

~He was annoying during the first part of anime/manga but I started to respect him during the Sasuke Retrieval Arc.

~But, of course!

~I don't know.

-Do you think Shino could've made chuunin if he had the chance to fight?
~Yes.

~When I first saw it, yes. But as the series goes on, I got used to it

I could have seen my friend Pat , Pauline, and Steve in their awesome costumes ;o; I saw the pictures from the said event from their Multiply pages and I swear I regret that I turned down Pat's offer to join them ;o; if only I don't have to study that day anyway, there's always a next time. Oh and yes, this is the second week of our classes. I can say that I'm still in state of shock. Let me take the quizzes as an example. The type of quizzes they give us is very different from the type of quizzes we were given when I was in second year of college. I'm trying to adjust gradually because I know that if this continues, I'll fail and eventually, I have to transfer to another school, something which I don't want to happen. This is my 3rd year as a La Salle student and I don't want to be removed from the BSN program of DLSHSC. As mentioned by the Dean: study, study, study and more study. I must do my best! I know I can pass my 3rd year!

I was not supposed to attend the Mangaholix because no one will accompany me. Joal-chan is inside the UPD right now and she's preparing for her upcoming finals. ): A few days before the event proper, my friend and partner-in-crime and (my so-called boss ) plus my other friend, who's her classmate, told me that they're going to attend the Mangaholix as well so I decided to go. Yay for me!

Before that, we took our final exam. Damn the calculation part of the RLE ):

~We arrived at Mall of Asia at around 1:15 PM. Me and my friends (plus my friend's friend ) 'stalked' the cosplayers (even if they're not wearing their costumes, I know that they are cosplayers because of the guy's sword and the get up of his friends) to find our way to the Music Hall It turned out that they were the one following us because they went the wrong way LOL
~Music Hall yay!!! Anime and live action series and movie DVDs, cosplayers!!!! XD RABID FANGIRL OMG! XD
~My friend was supposed to join the on the spot drawing contest but since it was just at that time we found out that registration time was actually 10 AM...aww ):
~We looked at every single booth. No Kon-sama plushies ;o;
~Me and my friends bought anime DVDs. I bought The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya DVD. Although I can now just download 'em and watch it here in the PC, there's still the problem...I can't download the needed codec to watch the videos. Someone help me please ;o;
~I saw Alodia-san when we first arrived. I thought it was not her at first. While checking out the Mangaholix second issue, I asked the person in charge at that booth if Alodia-san already came. She told me that she already arrived and that she's indeed wearing an Amane Misa costume and she was kind enough to tell me where she was so I immediately headed to that place (or booth, whatever lol). So many people took pictures of her and L It just proves that they're really famous
~I saw Ashley-san as well. I didn't hesitate to ask for an autograph. Arigato gozaimasu!

~We checked the Comic Alley and bookstores.
~We returned to the Music Hall. More cosplayers. Back to fangirl mode

~Me and my friend were separated from our other friends. Good thing we're able to find each other.

1. I love anime and now, manga. I know I've said this so MANY times already but that's it the truth and nothing but the truth. Right now, I'm currently watching Naruto: Shippuden, Code Geass, One Piece, Jigoku Shoujo, and Bleach (NOT the dubbed version on GMA 7. The dubbing sucks big time ) Right now, I'm reading Naruto Part II, Flame of Recca, xxxHolic, Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicles, Fruits Basket and One Piece.

2. I'm not fond of shoulder bags. Yeah, call me weird but I don't like those kinds of bags for some reason. The only rationale I could come up with is that I always bring so many things even if I'll just go to a somewhere near place.

3. I am allergic to chicken and seafoods (crabs and shrimp to be specific). I can eat those foods mentioned but if I eat them everyday, allergic attack will commence. Heck. x_x But as they say, masarap ang bawal (What is forbidden is actually good or something like that.) so even if I was prohibited to eat them often, I still eat. Pasaway na bata.

4. I don't label myself. For me, once you've labeled yourself as "goth", "rocker", "emo" or whatever label that you can come up with, you should stick with it and you have to maintain your image as a [insertlabelhere] otherwise, you'll end up being called a "wannabe" or "poser".

5. I don't have a best friend. For me, they can be your worst enemy. I prefer having a group of few true and close friends.

6. I HATE braggarts. I often find them annoying. Very annoying, to be exact.

7. I am fond of Japanese stuff. From anime to Japanese music to cherry blossoms to geishas to Japanese way of writing, I love almost everything related to Japan and its unique culture. I even wished to be a Japanese national. Must be the effect of watching too much anime and Jap live action and drama series.

8. I don't like chain letter/text messages/bulletin posts. If those things were true, I should have died a few years ago, I should have seen the ghost in that video, one of my relatives should have died and...so many 'should-haves'; too many to be written in this single post.

9. I love chocolates. I don't care how much calories, fats and sugar it contains, I'll still eat 'em anyway

10. Last, but not the least, I'm not that fond of describing or writing about myself. But since, Ryza tagged me, I wrote 10 'updated' facts about me. I hope this might erase some of the misconceptions the people have about me and for them to find out more about me. Ain't that redundant? LOL

Until now, that's my major complaint. But, this time, it's not because I keep on doing the same thing over and over but because of summer classes. During the first two weeks of my summer classes (Nutrition and Diet Therapy class to be exact :3), I felt that I was having classes for a long period of time. Of course, I had fun with the summer classes (and allowance is not the only reason, damn it lol) but I just have this feeling that time flies by slowly. I felt like that a semester already passed by. Screw that weird feeling I have right now.

Oh, and tomorrow the Fundamentals of Nursing classes will start tomorrow. Good luck to me. Another difficult subject awaits me tomorrow after I enter the classroom. And once again, I need to have a final grade of 80 in that subject (and in Nutrition as well. Did I pass?) Good luck, indeed.

But first, I need to adjust my body clock and sleeping time a little bit. LOL.

I am in an internet shop yesterday because my brother locked the PC because he was downloading porn-err, an animated movie (Great. Just great.)

-I took my final exam on Nutrition before I went to Glorietta and that's the reason why I came at around 11:30 AM. Sabi ko 2 PM ako dadating pero maaga yung time ng exam kaya ayun.
-Edward, Pront, Homzki, and Pao were already there.
-Ral showed up together with Symm
-Pront tried to put on the chef's hat on me. WTF D:
-If Pat/Rain did not show up, the EB will become Sausagefest EB Part II
-Homzki poked Edward's stomach. LOL! PWNED!!! XD
-Artot showed up. Mukha siyang lasing na bagong gising LOL I asked him "Naligo ka na ba?" LOL WIN!!
-Z came and he started to give away toothbrushes

-We decided to eat at Pizza Hut. We ordered pizza and bottomless iced tea while Pat and Symm had their own orders.
-When we entered Pizza Hut, Shinoda suddenly showed up. Stalker desu!
-While looking at the menu, I was asking Pat how many calories does a slice of pizza have. (That was a joke considering the fact that I have a 'final exam hangover')
-While eating, Z continued to take pictures and yes, a video D:
-Josh showed up after we finished eating.
-Pao gave him one slice of pizza.
-Artot was eating like a virgin (read: ang bagal kumain)
-Artot has so many funny stolen pics. Ral and Symm already have respective captions for each pic. PWNED!

-After paying the bill, Homzki rang the bell then we immediately went out of Pizza Hut.
-We went to the Timezone to play some games (di ako naglaro!)

-Shinoda played the Dance Hero. While he was playing (or rather, dancing), Z took a video of him. SCANDAL!!!! XD

-While waiting for the pics, we went to the food court and there, we talked about the banner.

-After we got the pics (check the first page to see those pics), we went to the MRT station while Symm went to LRT station.

-We had a last minute meeting at the station before we went our separate ways.

BTW, I used to be here on dA in case you're wondering who the hell I am.

Me and my good friend, have collaborative works ongoing. And most of them are under the planning/brainstorming stage.

Last week, we just finished our first collaborative photoshoot with Victorian-style Goth as our first theme XD so many firsts. Our love for gothic style, Death Note and anime made way for our collaboration. Hurray for that! Joal-chan was actually the one who recommended the Death Note to me. I loved the live action movie so much but I haven't watched the anime and read the manga lol I'll watch it soon...so soon XD

About the photoshoot yeah, it was Victorian-style Goth...I only used the clothes I found in my closet for this photoshoot that's why it's not really that Victorian as you expect to see. Gomen, we are just beginners. And the quality of image is not good enough because of the camera we used. Me and Joal-chan will invest on a good one soon XD
