Also, as you may have seen underneath my account name as well as how I had been signing the past few journals you can see the name I am permanently known by, by friends and others all over the internet. Anyway, so much to say, so little time. First things first... On November 7 I went to see Repo! The Genetic Opera, one of the best damn movies ever! Like Rocky Horror, it is a rock opera, but different. It was directed by Darren Lynn Bousman of the Saw II-IV movies, and originally made as a stage opera by Darren Smith and Terrance Zdunich.

In the near future when organ failures have become an epidemic around the world killing off mass amounts of people, a savior company forms to save the day. GeneCo offers replacement designer organs for those have ones that are no longer functioning properly, but the payments for the expensive surgeries must be paid on time. The last thing you need is to fail to do so over the course of 90 days and find yourself at the mercy of a Repo Man who will repossess your rented organs at any cost. In this film, Nathan Wallace (played by Anthony Head Stewart), has a seventeen year old daughter, Shilo (played by Alexa Vega), who supposedly has had a blood disease since birth. As a caring father and daytime surgeon, he keeps her inside their house to prevent any damage being done by said disease and to keep Shilo from entering a world full of turmoil and chaos: he is afraid of losing her like he did her mother. Of course, Nathan becomes the Repo Man by night, taking organs back from people who have failed to pay their dues, unknown to his daughter. Shilo ends up escaping her home and finding out what exactly the world is like. She comes across Graverobber (played by Terrance Zdunich), a person who sells illegal Zydrate (the drug used to relieve all the pain from surgery, but is extremely addictive) on the black market: he steals the drug from corpses and basically lives with them (hence his name). He helps her understand what the world has become. His role is more narrator-like.

GeneCo is owned by Rotti Largo (played by Paul Sorvino) and as a dying man must find a deserving heir to take his place as owner after his rare and non curable disease kills him. He has three children: Luigi Largo (played by Bill Moseley), Amber Sweet (played by Paris Hilton: do not hate the movie just because she is in it. Believe it or not, she even surprised critics and many haters at how well she did), and Pavi Largo (played by Ogre from Skinny Puppy), all of whom are fighting one another to decide who seems more likely to be this heir. Luigi is full have rage and ends up killing anything that gets in his way. Amber is a Scalpel slut and a Zydrate addict, and has a thing for Graverobber and vise versa. Pavi loves to hit on any girl, but may take her face and use it as his own if he feels like it. Rotti does not have a hard time choosing...

Then there is Blind Mag (played by Sarah Brightman). She is bound to her contract for GeneCo to sing in their Operas to repay for her digital corneas the company gave her. She was born blind (which is why she is nicknamed Blind Mag, Mag being short for Magdalene), but GeneCo stepped up and offered to help, at a price. She wants out, and at her final performance at the Genetic Opera she will lose her eyes for her freedom. She is also Shilo's Godmother since her best friend, Shilo's mother Marni, passed away during child birth, apparently all of Nathan's fault.

All of the stories come together at this Genetic Opera, and sparks will end up flying hard and high.

This movie has only been given a limited release, but more theaters are being added. Also, there is a Road Tour Darren Bousman and Terrance are doing to bring it to places where many cannot see it in theaters. Lionsgate Films (LGF) originally did not want this to have anything but a DVD release, but by the help of us fans and Darren's leadership, we have changed all of that! By advertising the shit out of this film, we have given it a soundtrack, a theatrical release, publicity in the media, and a kick in the ass to LGF. It was only supposed to play in eight theaters total for one week, but that was extended in them to about a month with new ones being tacked onto the list. When it premiered at the film festival in Austin, Texas and at the Toronto After Dark one, all of the shows were sold out and more had to be added to satisfy the wants of avid fans. People have been dressing up as the characters and singing along with the music, me doing the singing part.

As for Sarah Brightman's new album Symphony, well, let's just say that my headphones are permanently glued onto my head and fail to budge from my ears! :roll: I have been looping the blasted thing since I received it the release date of January 29, and I have to say sometimes I will listen to it nearly five hours in a row without stopping... Definitely not great for my ears! :P SARAH FOR THE WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

I am currently in need of new Pointe shoes, but my mother, mostly, is refusing to at least buy me another pair of the ones I have now (which are one of the strongest around). What I really need in terms of a good shoe for my feet is a pair custom made to fit my feet's most prominent feature: high arches. Those, although something striven for in the ballet world, also causes Pointe shoes to wear out and die faster than anything. I was told that companies can make ones with a double shank (shanks are what help hold the arches back in a sense from causing the whole foot to roll over the box of the shoe, which can cause major injury). I do not even know how I am able to even dance in the ones I own now since they are beyond dead... I even destroyed part of one box a couple of weeks ago! O.O

Ahahaha... I feel silly... Please do not ask why. It could be because I need to eat something, but.... :evillaugh:

You can catch a rerun of the Fashion on Ice on the Style network, but you must look at your local listings for those dates since I am not sure when it will appear. This is a great chance to see her perform some of her greatest hits and three of her new songs (Fleur du Mal, Symphony, and Running). Heck, you might get a glimpse of me on there as well in the audience... :D

If you become a fan of Sarah's and like her music after hearing those songs whether it be from the playlist or the Fashion on Ice or even both, please let me know by writing a small journal entry on it explaining your thoughts. It must have "Sarah Brightman" in the title somewhere... If I see it, I will ask for what it is you want me to sketch out for you. I cannot do a full-blown drawing with color and shades more than likely since I go back to Hofstra on Monday and I have to try to cram in a detailed artwork before then, and I do not know how it will go this term around.

I will give two weeks after the broadcast if it is in fact going to be placed on the internet for everyone to watch. I am going to record it so I will see if it will be possible to place it on Youtube in segments. In order to get a free request from me is to do this:

~Watch as much of the show as possible!
~If this is your first time hearing her sing and/or watching her perform, please put into your journal just that.
~Give feedback about how much you liked/did not like Sarah Brightman's performance and why.

After I have seen your entry, I will note you asking you for what you want me to draw. It will more than likely be a very sketchy item since I do not know how many I have to do, and I have other larger projects to accomplish. My time will also be restricted since I go back to university the 28th. You might not even get your request until Spring Break or the end of May, so please keep that in mind!

The reason that I am doing this is to spread the word about Sarah as much as possible. If one person can change [i]my[/i] life and the path of it I take, then that person [i]has[/i] to be someone special to do so! If I can possibly help someone else in a similar manner just by introducing them to her, I will feel as though part of my life has been fulfilled. I have been told veterans of wars such as the World Wars and the Vietnam War who are very mentally unstable have broken down and fallen into tears after listening to a voice so pure and beautiful. I can safely say that in a way I owe her some, if not all, of my life just because she has created a beacon of light of which to follow and someday I may bask in... Personally I do not consider myself "a fan", but more of an admirer and maybe even a follower. I know it sounds strange, but to me she means more than anything and I would do anything just to meet her even for just a split second and feel my life is complete! My only true wish in life is to meet her, the one and only Angel of Music, at least once and give her the largest hug I have ever given anyone.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL! :party: It is also a leap year... *leaps*

Anyway I do have a picture in the works in Photoshop, one that I need to re-draw because the proportions came out horrible, and a few in mind I wish to get done before January 28 (the day I return to Hofstra). The one I started last year with all the hair and stuff is still a work in progress that I have not touched since August... I shall go back to that one.... Ummmm.... when I am 50?

Parents are still being huge strains on my life and are killing me on the inside... @_@. Why they cannot leave me alone... I wish I knew that answer! >< Does anyone live in England or France that can lend some hospitality to me for a month or two or four years? I need a holiday from life completely... Maybe I can take a trip to Jupiter instead... :P

As you can see I have changed my avatar thing and am sort of going all "Sarah Brightman" on all of you... My admiration for her has grown so much I can swear I leave this world and enter another whenever I hear her sing.... By the way, some of those drawings I mentioned before will be Sarah-related, so, yeah... Expect a dog pile of Sarahness! XD

IF YOU CAN, PLEASE WATCH THE FASHION SHOW ON ICE ON NBC ON SUNDAY JANUARY 20 FROM 4:00 PM TO 6:00 PM IF YOU WISH TO ACTUALLY HEAR SARAH BRIGHTMAN SING! I recommend you do it because you will be awestruck when you do. I was there at the whole performance and taping of it so I know what I am talking about when I say that she truly is an Angel! No one could watch the skaters out there on the ice when she was on stage singing... All eyes were on her and most of the applause in the audience were for her. You may also here some people screaming her name out.... So many of her fans were there (probably most of the audience were fans) and they were shouting things like "SARAH!" and "Sarah, WE LOVE YOU!" and other freaky things. I was one of those people... WATCH IT OR THE EVIL PIANO SHALL EAT YOU ALL ALIVE! :evillaugh: No, seriously, just do it....

Oh, and her new album comes out January 29! Five of the songs were performed at the Fashion show and I must say this one thing: THIS IS GOING TO BE HER BEST DARN ALBUM YET!!! It is called "Symphony" and has a Gothic feel to the cover. The whole album is full of the several music styles Sarah has covered in her performance years (which are many of the popular genres out there such as pop, rock, and classical, plus some). You will fall in love with this album I can guarantee you will then be out searching for her other albums, both mainstream and rare. If I am wrong, I will give you all cookies, but they remain mine if I am right, and I am 200% sure I am!

To make it even more juicy, Sarah is to premier in her first feature film as it comes out on April 15! Repo! The Genetic Opera is what it is called, and she plays the lead of Blind Mag. For those unfamiliar with the musical (that is what the movie is based off of) it takes place in the not-so-distant future where the new fad is to have designer organ transplants. The producer of these designer organs that range from having polka dots to being made of actual gold is the infamous GeneCo where Repo! Man works. His job is to take back organs at any cost from the user if that person cannot pay GeneCo back. Overall, this movie is a combination of horror, drama, and opera. Yes, I said opera since the whole thing is sung; no words are spoken. Besides, most break out into these arias with your average vibratos taking over. Other than Sarah Brightman there is another opera singer, several well-known actor/actresses, and a few other you may know from the media... The whole movie was directed by the man who did the Saw movies. He also could not take his eyes off of Sarah whenever she would be doing her thing on set: he thought she was the best and most beautiful person on set to begin with! (taken from his MySpace blog).

As you can see my subscription is up and I have not the money to purchase another... I could not get a job while in school especially with the annoyance of traveling: a train, then two buses to Hofstra, then basically the same back, and trying to keep up with my studies. As for the contest I had going on... It shall be extended to sometime next year, possible this time next year... I cannot say right now until I earn my own money.

Another thing: I will more than likely only come back here during the duration of my holiday of a month. Then I must continue with university once more until late May. The number of artwork I will be doing will be very minimal since my parents have become even stricter with computer "rules" and if I do get a job during January while keeping up my music practices...

So much has happened to me since I last came on here... For one my deja vu has yet to cease its involvement in my life... Every moment, every second is all familiar even though I have not experienced them in the past. I have learned that my parents have been holding me down since God knows how long with their "parental" nonsense... I would go into more detail, but that would take a lifetime. To make it simple, they have ruined so much in my life I cannot begin to tell you anyways.

Then there is the matter of the world of music around me. Ever since Sarah Brightman found her way into my life I have only seen and experienced wonders that are simply not of this Earth. Being that she has inspired my voice and has unknowingly helped to improve it in many ways I have never felt more happier. Listening to her is a miraculous feeling in itself... I went to see her in concert Saturday November 17 in Atlantic City at the Fashion Ice Show that is set to premier on NBC Sunday January 20 from 4-6 pm. Eastern Standard Time. I met up with several people from the forums on her official site for a natural SarahFest for the whole day before the performance. We were even visited by several people from Nemo Studios (Sarah's main recording studio) including some from her orchestra! I have some nice signatures from them! We would have been visited by Frank Peterson, her manager, and Sarah herself if she was not in a hurry to get back to London (her home). For my birthday back in October I received tickets to the show, and only on that day was I given the real gift of seats three rows from the ice and stage where the skaters were to skate and Sarah was to perform. The best part: I was on the side where they would come out and take their places wherever. I was able to have great sight of Sarah backstage having her makeup and hair touched up before she went on stage. When I arrived at the venue I was filled with excitement and glee that I would be seeing her for the very first time, but when I saw her backstage a feeling of peace and relaxation filled me up. The Angel of Music she is indeed! :floating:

On Thanksgiving I went to the parade in the city just to see Sarah pass by in a wicked Pirate Queen outfit on top the Jolly Polly Pirate Ship float. You can see her here: [link]
The hat is overdoing it a little bit though... It takes away from such a beautiful face!

For the holidays I received many Sarah-related gifts including a pre-order of her newest album now scheduled to come out early in February (the date has been changed so many times it is hard to count @_@) titled "Symphony". At the Fashion show she sang 5 songs that are set to be on this album and do I mean it when I say that this shall be the best album she has ever done! My advice to you: if it will not be a burden, please rent a copy or two of her CDs from your local library and listen to her. If not, you can wait until April 15 when REPO! The Genetic Opera (a horror film based off of a musical directed by the same man who did all Saw movies) comes out... Sarah Brightman is to be Blind Mag in that, and from comments made by other cast members, the director himself, and even some news media, she was the best actress and the most stunning and beautiful woman on set!

I dare you to look at a photo of Sarah and guess her age before researching it... Google "Sarah Brightman" in images and post here how old you think she is! The person closest to guess her actual age shall be given a cookie or two! NOT FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO KNOW HER AGE: I WILL KNOW WHO YOU ARE! :evillaugh:

I am sorry for my lack of activity... I have been so stressed out by university and other things that... well.... *sigh*. I have had little to no time to draw anything, and what I did attempt to color in Photoshop became corrupted and completely lost. My time has been so limited that weekends are the only time I have to actually do things, but even then I am working on things for school or helping around home. Between classes and the transportation to and fro by both bus and train I only have time to do my homework, eat dinner, go to dance class on Tuesdays only, and sleep. Right now I have a major problem that arose last week and I do not know how that will affect my classes or my future, but it sure as heck affected my feelings... Let me just say that because of this I periodically find myself in tears whenever no one is around. I really do not wish to go further into the subject until everything is clear and understandable...

As for all of those requests that were made back in February/March... Do you still want me to do them? I know I have to do one art trade, three requests, and two extremely late birthday gifts for certain, but for the others do you still want them? I am asking this only because I find myself in a very low position very often and can barely concentrate on my art especially since my parents are on my back more than ever. I had also wanted to enter a few contests, but it appears I will not make those deadlines because I have not even started on them and if I have they are either lost for good -stupid glitch in CS2 that I had no idea until only a few days ago that it contains- or I have not found time to do them. Now I have several weeks straight of classes before the break for Thanksgiving, so you can guess how busy I will be from here on out. I will try to do at least one drawing on the weekends whether it be for contests, requests, or prints, but I cannot guarantee anything at this point.

I apologize for this...

I want Christmas to come already so I can focus more on my personal life and less on the stresses put forth by school...

All right! It is time to host my own contest, and it will hopefully be a large one at that!

The theme is "Musical Inspiration in Art". Choose any song you just cannot stop listening to and incorporate it somehow in a piece of artwork! Below are the guidelines you must follow or I will not allow you to enter!

1. Any song from any style, anywhere can be used,except rap. I am sorry, but it really is not "music" and most contain inappropriate language and/or themes. Remember, there are younger members here so be respectful of them! Plus, I am not that kind of person who appreciates rap -sorry to anyone who is a major follower of the style, but this is my contest.
NOTE: If you wish to use a classical piece without
lyrics, please state that it is in fact a classical piece
and not just something you made up.
You may use any song from any musical and Broadway production you like!

2. Any style of art can be used: Traditional or Digital. This includes Anime/Manga, Cartoons, Fractals, Pixel Art, Photo Manipulations, and everything in between! I will accept any piece of literature -poems, short stories, etc- if they are not copies or manipulations of the song you choose. They must have been inspired by that piece. No two second sketches please! They have to have had at least some effort put into them!

3.The lyrics must be present either on the work of art itself somewhere or in your description. The title has to be present on the work no matter what! Where it will be, whether on the picture or on a border is up to you, but it must be there.

4. There can be no fanart whatsoever used!!! I do not want to see any character from any cartoon, anime, manga, television show, play, musical production, etc! That means no Danny Phantom, no Phantom of the Opera, no Inuyasha, and so on. I will, however, accept any original characters, OC's, your real selves, other people -family members, stock photos, friends, past and present actors and actresses, etc. You may use the actual composers and singers that had written or perform/performed the songs in their careers, but the piece must stay an inspiration, not a random portrait of them!!.

5. NO PORN, YAOI, VIOLENCE, OR ANY OF THAT NONESENSE! If I find anything in your work to be offensive, I WILL NOT ACCEPT IT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!

I sang "Think of Me" yesterday! It went better than anticipated too! :boogie: I was able to hit that high B perfectly and stayed in tune all the way through! :D I was nervous, but my voice was at its best and I couldn't be happier! ^^ The audience loved my beautiful vocals and I received many compliments from several people that were there! I only sang the song three times: two as practice and the other the actual performance. When I sang during the dress rehearsal, which was right before the actual show, the girls in the other room who were talking quieted down and listened in to my singing. After I finished they were giving me compliment after compliment... I even received some on the dress I wore. Someone even told me I resembled Christine because of my voice and hair color and style, but that's basically all that I share in common with her xD. I have a few pictures I will post of me in it, even though I am not at the ideal weight I want to be at....
To tell you what I had to work with, here is a list of those things:
1. I have never had any proper training; no private vocal lessons for me ever!
2. I have been singing opera for only less than a year, maybe six months at the most.
3. The only time I have to practice is at home, when I am all alone, which is almost never. @_@
4. I have never sang in front of an audience I mostly didn't know at all, except for my parents who never really pay attention to me singing (they were so shocked at what my voice was capable of yesterday; my mom even said that when I hit that B at the end tears rolled down her face as she tried to video tape me)
5. I really don't have any experience singing solo in front of people...
6. I had to sing it all a cappela, which means I had no music whatsoever to back me up: no recording of the song whatsoever nor any lyric-less instrumentation. This was the first time alone I had to do this....

I was even getting into character: I would move my arms a bit, close my eyes here and there, and move my head just slightly all around, and for a second I did in fact feel like Christine Daae. I sang my heart out and went with the path I was following. I guess I was more like her for the couple of minutes I was on stage.

Oh, I can't imagine what my voice will be like when I graduate college, not to mention how it will be like after the first year! :)

I must thank Sarah Brightman for helping me realize this side of my voice I would have never thought I had inside! She is such a wonderful inspiration to me! :happycry:

More deja vu occured yesterday....

In other news, I am trying my best to finish the few b-day pics I have to do, the projects I have sitting there on my computer, and whatever contest entries, requests, and other things I have in the process of being done.

My dad went out last night after midnight to pick me up a copy of the latest Harry Potter book. I will probably finish it by the middle of next week (I read fast when I get into a book).

Remember how I said that over the course of the ballet camp last week I sang for a few girls and everyone began complimenting me about my voice? Well, on Tuesday during Pointe class (the camp is over and the regular classes have begun) the teacher, who is also the director of the dance school appoached me and asked if I would be willing to sing on Friday at the performance for the Broadway camp, aka Tap and Jazz camp (I am not a part of it because I don't take either one of those). I said "of course!" and then she asked what Broadway songs that I know, and me being a Phantom phanatic I told her I would sing "Think of Me". So now, I will be performing "Think of Me" in front of an audience, including the other people in the camp on stage by myself :D. I have this dress I wore some five years ago, a beautiful blue gown that I completely filled out (in all parts) because I was much bigger then (and I am not talking about height ;)) Now it fits me nicely, but there is actually some room in the upper portion of it that my mom said that in the future she will look into a tailor to take it in. I will have someone take a few pics of me tomorrow and I will then post it up. But keep in mind if the upper body looks a bit wide, it's the dress...

I am currently working on Mars' belated b-day pic the best I can, for my mom wants me to stay off of the comp to help out a lot more... I need to finish a zillion more things on the comp that I started and haven't finished...

I don't know what's going on... I have been having way too much deja vu lately! @_@ And I mean it happens everyday, several times per day, and it's only on the increase! Ever since the beginning of the new year... I just don't know... It's freaking me out more than anything I had ever experienced! It began to speed up around the time school ended......... *is lost in thought*

Oh, I received my AP Art exam grade yesterday.... The blockheads only gave me a darn 2 out of 6! :X I can't even get any college credit with that grade! I have no idea what they want as "art", but they certainly don't have a very large range of it.... >< You know what, I don't give a donkey's behind about it anyway! I did pics of my friends and that's all that matters to me! Let them give me any grade they wish, they won't take away my pride in my work for it is mine and comes from the inside, my heart. *throws rotten tomatoes anyway because it's fun to do*

I just finished a full week of ballet camp ^^. I participated in the summer intensive and I loved every minute of it! I actually sang for a few of the younger girls because they overheard me talking to the director about college and what I was going for. I received so many complements... At first I was in a room with two of the girls, and then once I started to sing "Think of Me", a whole group that were in the lobby came in and sat down on the floor next to them until it was time to rehearse the second act of Swan Lake that we performed yesterday for the parents. Then the director came in and said that I had a powerful voice and she could here me from the lobby (the place used to be a warehouse and there really isn't any true separation from room to room ecxept for walls that don't touch the ceiling at all). The two adults that were in the camp that I had taken classes with over the course of the year were amazed at my talent (they already told me months ago that I was very talented at dance and art) especially after I stated I had not taken any private lessons over the course of the years. One of them said they thought an angel was singing and that I had God-given talent. Maybe someday all of you will be able to hear me sing....

Anyway, I'm working on a zillion projects at once; going from to another, and so on. I have requests, b-day gifts I have to start up again, an art trade, and everything else, so be patient with me. My parents are evil and won't allow me to stay on the comp to so some art for very long........ >>

I plan on taking a pic of myself soon to show you what I look like. It will be from the neck up because I am not that confident otherwise @_@

This morning, just after I woke up, I was informed that the great Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin, passed away after having a stingray puncture his heart. For those of you who don't know, he was working on a documentary about the Great Barrier Reef right off the northeast coast of his home country, Australia. When I first heard this from my father, I couldn't believe my ears; I thought I had misheard him... But after he said it again, I was literally about to fall over in shock. I wanted to cry, but I didn't want to do it in front of my parents.

Steve was the most courageous and nature-loving person out there; he would do anything just to teach the world about the incredible species that inhabit this planet along with us. He wanted to show people just how grand these creatures are. He wanted the world to realize that our poor treatment to the environment would cause us to lose every single one of them. Risking his life almost everyday doing what he does best.... is just something that most people wouldn't even dare to do. Steve was a great guy, and anyone who had met him would probably say the same thing, if not even greater....

Terri (his wife), Bindi (his daughter), and his son (whom I don't know the name of. If anyone knows, please let me know!), and the rest of his family have my deepest sympathies and prayers at heart. A moment of silence, please.....








I will be making a watercolor painting to commemorate him, so please look for it in the near future. Afterall, I can say I looked up to him for his work... I also wish to send it to his family back in Australia, but I highly doubt that would ever happen.....

He did not deserve to die at all...... May he rest in peace, for all eternity.... :pray:
