I never knew how those three words could hold so much meaning. It sounds cliche but its so true.
And seeing as this is my journal I'm going to talk about myself. c:
Last weekend, my boyfriend told me he loved me. OHSHIT, I know what you're thinking. High school romance crap. This girl should get out more often.

huh. Maybe. BUT..no. This is legit. Or it feels that way to me, so don't tell me otherwise. He's been head over heels for me, and I for him, months and months before we started going out. And I feel pathetic and lovesick posting this, but I want to hear opinions about this subject from people outside of my family and circle of friends ,cause they're all too busy with their own issues.
Anyhow, he told me and I couldn't bring myself to say it back. I tried to explain to him how loaded "love" is for me. Not that I didn't care for him, but that I didn't want to take it lightly. And he took it the wrong way and felt like crap that he had put himself out there. He got to thinking that I was fooling myself about wanting to be with him. But I encouraged him to just be patient with me. I'm not as open with my feelings, or good with words, as he is and wasn't ready to declare myself even if it was what I was feeling(yeah. we're a totally backwards couple).
So we got over our little skiff about me not being open and blahblahblah. We were good again.
Then on Thursday we were walking home and he was being a total dork. And I laughed at him and then those three damn little words slipped out. He just stared at me in shock. Then I realized how easy it was for me to accept saying it to him. That I honestly meant it and I had just made it out to be more complicated than it really was.
And now he's at his mom's for the weekend and I'm missing him like crap, but...yeah.
My question!...

I wanna hear from whoever bothered to read this; how do you define love? Is it complicated, or do people just make it out to be so full of drama? Do people fool themselves into their definition of love?
And please warn me if I start getting cliche about this.

I got back from the East coast Tuesday morning. My parents and I went up to visit my brother who lives in a town just outside of Boston. I think it's one of the best trips I've had.
I rode an airplane for the first time. Ever! C:
Visited Boston, New York (Manhattan, New York City, took a boat tour and saw Ellis Island), Connecticut, and Hampton Beach in New Hampshire.
It really brought me out of my summer slump. Sure I started getting sick the last day we were there, but I hardly cared.

I have felt relaxed. Unlike during school when I was actually getting physically sick from so much stress.
I've been playing my brother's Wii that he left with me until I take it to him in Boston next month. Played with a puppy the other day. And nothing is better than that. Been to the movies a couple times. Went to the mall with my sister, Mom, and my baby niece. Friday my summer art classes started. And after that a group of friends and I wasted away the rest of the day at the park. Yesterday spent the entire day at King's Island outside of Cincinnati, Ohio with my best friend. Rode some sick coasters. Bought a Friends poster, of all things, and came home last night exhausted.

I'm so glad school is almost over.
I get a week and a half before I have to go to summer art class, but whatevs. Its fun anyways.
BUTBUTBUT.
I havent been online cause..
1) My internet upstairs on MY computer is dead. And my brother (who's girlfriend had his baby girl on 4/28, actually! ) promised to buy me a new wireless card, but he HASNT.
2) I'm so stressed out with English homework (again) I have a 10 page research paper due in a week. I have 7 pages done, but thats the rough draft I have to turn in this Friday. And I have to take 8 grammar tests that I havent even studied for yet. And 3 vocab tests. auggggh!

I'm sure I'm not missed, but I feel like 'splainin.

In other news...
-I'm in the process of beating Zelda (ocarina of time). I've had that game for 10 years, and never gotten past the 2nd boss. TILL NOW. But I havent gotten the chance to play this whole week.
-Found out the red blotch on my shoulder is ringworm!
-This Saturday I'm helping my friend by modeling for her photoshoot. I only agreed cause my semi-ex-crush is gonna model with me. o-o And she gave into my pleas for her to make me a crown! HA I'm supposed to be Hera. He's Zeus. And my other friends are other goddesses and our other guy friends are going be gods. (noduh)
Then after we're having a waterballoon fight, apparently, for one of the guy's birthday.
So at least Saturday should be fun. So long as her plans dont get screwed up...

Indiana: REPELS SUNLIGHT
Computer + Tablet: Decided to bust so I would have nothing to do along with having nowhere to go. My computer is drowning in malware. I have to use my mom's laptop. And my sister's friend "borrowed" my Elements disc, so I can't attempt to install any art programs on the laptop even if I do get my tablet working! aughhhhh And last year during spring break my computer monitor busted. I swear, if my computer magically starts working on Monday (after I've suffered a week of boredom), I will shoot my foot off.
All I've been doing is watching all the Bourne movies back to back, spending hours painting, or sitting around thinking of things I could be doing.

School got canceled today cause its 30 below. (ahhh! D okay. woo! no school! Normal day.
...so I thought.

I haven't even gone anywhere yet. I woke up late, ate a packet of instant oatmeal, and just hung out for a little while.Me and my brother decided we'd make some biscuits and gravy, but we had to wait for my dad to drop off my mom at work and bring milk from the store. And this morning I noticed something about my brother--- he's freakishly superstitious.
He showed me some Chinese prediction thing on his iPhone and was all talking about the Mayans and doomsday (2012). I don't believe any of it myself, but it was weird seeing him so into it. And then he and my dad were talking about schizophrenia. Just how it they think it works, how if in old days they believed that if you control it you can see "visions", blah blah blah.
Then, after after a trial and error of biscuit-making. (baking soda vs baking POWDER mix-up) and getting frustrated with my brother we finally finished making our biscuits and gravy. And they're quite yummy, if I do say. :]

This morning just feels weird cause I've been thinking too much.
...school would've been less complicated

I LOVED IT.

When Bella spoke her first line I jumped out my seat and my heart was pumping so fast. My friend had to hold me in my seat. After a year of anticipation and waiting I could not believe I was finally gonna watch Twilight.
It lived up to my expectations. It was close enough to the book that I can't really complain. But of course I shook my head through some parts because they had to mash a lot of dialog scenes together. The movie sped by really fast, but I'm not sure if that was just because of the Monster I drank before it started. C:
I could go down the list of all my favorite parts, but I dont want to give anything away. All the actors (well...most) were PERFECT (for lack of a better word, lol). Edward and Bella were amazing, but no surprise there. I was shocked to find that I abosolutely loved Charlie, Alice, and then all the 'humans' did amazingly well with their roles. Jessica, Mike and Eric were hilarious. :]
A note to Taylor Lautner; I know Jacob is to be 'happy-go-lucky' but you wanna tone it down a bit, buddy?

I think that since the movie moved so fast, if you haven't read the books beforehand, you'd be a little lost. It sped through the romance to get to the action. Can you say "Catherine Hardwicke?" Nevertheless, it was a sweet movie. Rob channeled Edward like no other and Kristen put a lot of herself into Bella. She wasn't as vulnerable as she seems in the book and I like it like that. Rob's take on Edward actually worked on screen. I was still constantly wishing for deeper dialogue scenes, though. :c

The CGI could have used a little more work (let's remember the tight budget they were on, people!), so I'm hoping, now that NEW MOON is official, they will make the next movie even more spectacular!

I'm planning on watching it again sometime this weekend. xD This time more coherent and without squealing/giggling/spazzing every 2 minutes.

I was in Japanese class today (best class of my day. srsly.) And this counselor guy came in to talk to my friend. Alright, whatever, right? I'm sitting there working, then I see his name tag. And internally I'm screaming and freaking out. Know what it said?

So naturally, right when he's out the door, I grab my friend and start screaming in her ear. JASPER EDWARDS. Could there BE an awesomer name? mog. No. Didn't think so! So then I turned and started telling everyone I know who had read Twilight, including this one guy who sits next to me. It was great. xD Unfortunately the guy looked nothing like either Jasper or Edward. :[ But still...highlight of my day.

Other than my freak out today, nothing much has happened around here. I'mma be an aunt in 9 months, my cousin had a baby boy 2 days ago, I'm having to avoid certain people.... Yeah. Nothing terribly exciting.

This weekend my parents dragged me 2 hours to Chicago against my will. Other than the fact that some of the streets scared me and we had to stay over at my mom's friend's house and not get back until 3 am this morning (I only got 4 hours of sleep) ... it wasnt that bad. We went to the pier and rode a ferris wheel (hehe) and watched uhmayzing fireworks while I felt like I was gonna puke and the Sears tower and I got the first Jamba Juice I've had in a year! Yay for Chicago being full of stores!! That was Saturday.

Sunday I recovered from my bad mood and we went to the zoo.And we parked on a street named Edward Court (I KNOW!!) Zoo was fun. My favorite was the aardvark. :3 He looked happy in his cozy tub just sniffin around.

AND TODAY. Guess what? After having to run errands with my dad for an hour he finally took me to the mall for me to go into Hot Topic (willingly) for the first time in my life.

But MY GOD it was awesome!!! (for lack of a better word) It was.....shocking and...and... AHH! There are NO words. It was utterly and completely worth waiting all year for.
Here's yesterday's scedule:
I got my copy at midnight after forcing my brother to take me to the bookstore. I got home at 1 am and started reading. I read until page...I don't remember. Somewhere during book 2. I wanted to keep going, but the chapters seemed endless! maybe bacause it was 6 in the morning and I had had too much information and was about to collapse. I went to sleep for about 2 or 3 hours. And woke up to read again. I read straight through, with a couple breaks and distractions. I finished the book at 8:14 pm. Wow. I'm a nerd.
But it was impossible to stop reading! There was...so much of it. And it sucked me in from the very beginning. It was......wow. Shocking. Perfect. DAZZLING.

If you've finished and want to have someone to discuss it with (ok, I want to. I need to let things out.) you can drop me a note or only post page numbers. I don't want anyone to be spoiled.
It has to be READ. I have the biggest mouth on the planet, but i'm keeping it shut because Breaking Dawn is worth my anxiety.

UGH. You know I cried? Yeah. Cause Edward brings out the sissy in me. And I very nearly lost control again when I read those two tiny words: "the end" I can't believe it. The biggest shocker for me was pg 360. I was screaming "OMGOMGOMG" for five minutes nonstop.Seriously! That was at 9 am when my sister had just woken up.
-headdesk- I'm going to re-read the whole thing. Soon. i think I missed some things considering I was barely coherent during the whole thing.

Yesterday my mom + brother were babysitting my cousin's 3 little kids. The 5-year old decided she'd like to carry Nugget outside. Turns out my brother left the garage door open. So when Erika lets my kitty go, naturally the cat runs away from the squeezing arms of a little kid and heads for the nearest exit. By the time I got outside, Nugget was out front under the car and eyeing the giant tree in the yard. When I got close to her she jumped on it and was halfway up before I could stop her. I couldn't go after her because this tree is about 50 feet tall, with no low branches. So you can see the problem there.
She had to spend all light all alone in a giant tree with no food or water. D: I woke up at 6 AM to see what I could do to get her down before the neighbors woke up. (Nugget is supposed to be in hiding. but that's a story for another time) I tried everything to get her down. Then a squirrel got on the same branch as her and ran up higher. Luckily she realized chasing it woud only take her up higher. I was so upset about her being stuck, I very nearly called the firemen. BUT I didn't. Because at 11 AM I went out front to let Rex...use the facilities. And we were going back inside the kitten wanted to follow us. She lost her balance trying to climb to a lower branch and fell. ALL the way down...
Of course, she landed on her feet without hurting herself and Rex and I ran to get her from under the car. Now she's safe and sound and finding another way to torture me.

P.S. While I'm rambling about my pets, Peter is now a free bunny! He's all grown up and has relocated to my backyard. Free to come and go as he pleases.

I've been sitting at home ALL FRIGGIN WEEKEND doing nothing. A little while ago I got off my big butt and decided to go ride by bike to the snowcone stand a few blocks away...just for something to do because I've been abandoned this weekend.
So I get there and after waiting patiently for the people with the extremely large order, the lady who makes the snowcones calls, "Okay, who's next?" I walk my bike up to the counter as this couple is walking up. I'm at the counter. The lady looks straight at me and then looks AROUND me and calls again, "Okay, who's next?" So I'm there thinking... WTF? I'm RIGHT HERE. I tell her my order right then and she just stands there and says "Ok..." and just stares at me. So of course I'm thinking, "So are you gonna make it?" But she's just standing there like she's waiting for me to keep talking. Then she says, in a snobby voice, "Well that's $1.50" I drop the money into her hand and finally she goes on to make me my snowcone.

Ugh...it just irritates me that just because I'm younger people think that they shouldn't treat me like a proper customer. Ugh. And I'm not even THAT young!

In art class the other day I was having some trouble on a human portrait. And I asked the girl next to me how am I supposed to draw lips on guys. And she gave me some surprisingly helpful advice. She told me "Don't think of it as lips, just draw what's there." It's just stuck with me since. And my portrait turned out decent, might I add. ;]
Summer art turned out not to be so bad. Some of my friends are in there and I've made some...acquaintances... so it's not all bad. I just wish he didn't make us PAINT. Dx Oi. I suck at it. We went on a "photo safari" yesterday all around town. That was fun. :] If I ever get the pictures on my computer, I may upload some of my favorites. I took A LOT of pictures, though. Mostly of random crap I saw on the ground. xD The point of it was to look for art in something that looked ordinary. I got a pretty neat composition of traffic cones. That's the one I want to paint for class. :3 Hehe...traffic cones.

Blah...blah...blah... umm...other than my mall trip after class yesterday and that I feel sick to my stomach today, nothing much else has happened.

So's I realized the other day that my sister's graduation is tomorrow. Yeah. No way i can get out of that. BUT I've solved the issue. My friend is recording the MTV Movie Awards, preshow, and Twilight scene (-gasps for air-) for me. It's not like I have cable, anyways. D: So cha. Mah bunny is doing good. :3 He eats carrots and grass and oats and bunneh food nao. He's growing. I can't fit my hands over him anymore. But he's really moody. He likes to run away from me sometimes and I have to chase him down. >.>" I'm struggling to decide what I'm gonna do with him when he gets big.

And also my mother keeps offering to babysit my cousin's three screaming little kids. They're really annoying sometimes. So I've been going to bed with headaches. x_x
Then my room is a bajillion degrees...okay I'm exaggerating...but it's upstairs, so it's WAY hotter than downstairs. So don't be shocked if I start uploading art that has a lot of shades of red and orange. o_o" I usually color things according to my setting.

WHILE I'm on the art subject, today i realized just how sick I am of commisions and tags on FP...no, I'm not going to stop them, but I really need to make more artwork that's just for ME. I'd forgotten how much fun I have when no one is pressuring me to get it done and expecting my artwork to look a certain way. So yusss... that's it.

I am under major pressure from school right now. I should actually prolly be doing homework, but this is much more fun.
I have 2 big projects due next week for English and i haven't even started. So, I have THAT to get done.
Then finals are coming up in like 2 weeks, and I know I'm gonna bomb early all my subjects. I'm contemplating not going online at all for a week or so, because my grades are lagging. I'll see how that plays out.

My brother's friend had a tiny orphan baby rabbit and he brought it over to show my brother, and I fell in LOVE with it. So now he's mine!!! D I'm SOOO excited. He's so tiny and cute. I bought him kitten formula and a little bottle and he's in my room keeping warm against a hot water bottle right now. I'm really hoping he'll survive, but he's refusing to eat anything right now. I think he's still too scared. D:

So... anyone know how to take care of infant rabbits?

Storytime!

This morning my daddy was driving me and my sister to school. Just like any other morning. Then just as we were turning the corner of our street my dad says, "Hey look, a bunny." It was right off the street on a little patch of grass. So I scream "OMG!!" and throw open the door and jump out of the moving van to go catch it.

Unfortunately bunnies run really fast. D: I got like a foot away from it then it ran around and under the big pine tree. And when I crashed into the pine needles they scratched my arm and left ugly little red dots. D:

I was upset cause i couldnt catch the bunny. It was really cute too. It was brown and had a cute cottony tail. I woulda named t Peter. :3

So my art teacher has turned evil. Well...actually she's always been evil, but now it's started to get to me. She wants me to take summer art to "improve my art skills" but my parents have been talking about my sister, my daddy, and I going to California at the start of summer. And I wanna go more than ANYTHING. I told my teacher I might not be able to even take summer art even if I get in. She was all "Well, then don't go to California. Take summer art instead, because your future depends on it." Yeah. My future as a veterinarian? Whatev. I'm not gonna listen to her. If I get the chance to go back to Cali this summer... I'm going.

Then at school all my friends are going through this "leyt's be mad at everyone" stage. And my brother, and my cousin's ex, and my mom are having....issues, let's say.They're long stories, and nobody really wants to hear it. But just know that I'm not used to drama.

AND THEN I'm cleaning up my DA Gallery. Taking out all the yucky old pictures. There are some I like, I'll leave those in, but my gallery will be emptier in the next few days.

What I mean by "happy" is by my art on DA. Just look through my gallery. Why is everything I draw SMILING??

Honestly... it's kind of creepy.

Even when I'm in a bad mood, whatever I draw is... happy.
Maybe I'm never really angry or sad.... psh. yeah right.

I dunno but I'm sick of everything I draw being described as "cute". I wish I could draw things with some kind of emotion. I look at some peoples' work and think "wow". I look at what I draw and.... blah.

Not like anyone cares that its 1 am on a school night and I drank 2 glasses of coke and a monster, but here I go anyway...

...for what most of you have probably not caught on to yet my family moved me by force from sunny California to... *dramatic music*... shitty Indiana! (or Indianer as we like to say)

I haven't had a computer for 4 months, but now I kinda have one. My brother fixed the laptop, but who knows if he'll really let me keep it.

I just deleted almost 600 pictures, and like 300 other messages. Sorry 'bout that. D:

I really wish I had a way to upload some art pieces. Having no internet for 4 months I had A LOT of spare time to brush up on my "skills". I'm taking an art class in school and it's actually really helping me improve.


Ermm... I'm in high school now. Boring and crappy since I knew no one the first couple weeks of school. I met some new people now, so its not AS BAD. I'm still homesick a lot though. It's hard moving to an entirely new state where you dont really know anyone.

So yeah... that's pretty much the reason ive been gone. :E
