I know it's been forever since I got on last. I hope you've all had some wonderful times since I last talked to you!
School's nearly over (May 25!), which means I'll be on the computer a lot more during the summer. I still need to find a good webhost for an art website (free...), so if anyone has reccomendations (I am HTML illiterate, btw .-.), I'll love you forever.
I've been working more on drawing people, because I really would like to try out some Hary Potter fan-art (die-hard fan here XD). But Cha'll always be there, and I've developed Kal (that guy-wolf character) some more.
That Coyote Cubism picture (my "most recent") is with my art teacher now, but after the art show, we're gonna scan it so I can have a copy, as she asked me to donate the original to our school district's Central Office (that made me *very* happy).
I went to an art comipition called VASE in February. I painted a picture of a dragon, cat, and wolf for it. The way it worked was that you wrote down stuff like why you painted the picture, what techniques, principles, etc, you used, and then you talked to a judge and told them pretty much the exact same things as you wrote. Then they score you. The highest is a "4." I got a "3" (I scored higher on the picture part than the interview part ).
My school's JV girl's soccer team got 2nd, Varsity girls got 1st. It was pretty cool, but then the Varsity team lost in the second round of playoffs. So soccer's over now (we're back to running twice a week and "playing soccer" the other days), but my club team's season started. My club team (the Wildcats) has won all of our games so far (including theo ne against older girls), but we play our biggest competition next weekend..
Still coming up with ideas for a Yerf application, if they ever open them... I had a kind of neat idea involving a coyote running across a red desert.... I love acrylics

This year's gone by way to fast for me. A flurry of new experiences (highschool, soccer, friends), places (highschool [again], the skating rink), people (Steven, Joey, Ben, Sam, people from soccer), and much more. Every time I turn around, something new is happening, someone's getting in a fight, people are making out (eeeeeew ), braking up, having fun, working, falling in love.

Everything from giving up an old crush to finding a new person (twice). To having my heart broken to having a blast with the same guy. From wishing for a boyfriend to hating guys altogether (I still want a boyfriend... but only if it's my new crush ).

This year has been a year of learning, changing, and finding out more and more about myself and my friends.

It seems like a month ago, it was this time last year.

It looks like I'll be having a warm Christmas this year (The high is in the 70's- can you believe it?). Christmas afternoon, we're going to Austin to visit my aunt, uncle, counsins, and other... extended family. My parents went on a cruise to Cozumel, the Camen Islands, and Jamaica for their 20th anniverary, leaving my sisters and I with my mom's parents- during which time, it was their 49th anniversary.

Harry (our newest family member) has a new favorite hooby- running straight into our [fake] Christmas tree, knocking off as many ornaments as possible, then picking one and running off with it.

I have'nt been able to really start making a website for my art or work on my Yerf application pictures (the app's aren't open yet, so I'm still okay).

I've asked for an MP3 player, an electric guitar, and a mini chocolate fountain for Chirstmas. I hope I get one (or more ). But more importantly, I got some nice gifts for me friends and family (more than $130 worth, which is a lot for me).

It's not fair for me to be watching people, but not commenting on their art. Or receiving comments without me returning the favor.
I really do miss all of you very much. But DevART is just going down the tubes, as far as I'm concerned. What with all the thefts, the "adult"/ unmoderated art, the layout, and the ever-decreasing features for non-subscribers, devART is just getting worse by the minute. There's to many people on the site, to many submissions, to much everything. It gets to confusing.
I'm currently thinking about making an actual website for my art. Like, a real one. It willl proabably start out as a free Geocities one, but I may get an actual real-live website (oooooooooh.....). But until then, I need to concentrate on improving my art and getting better at things other than Cha'.
Yerf is still down, bu they are promising something by Thanksgiving. Once the whole site gets up and running again, I would really love the apply. I know I won't make it, but I have my pictures planned out. Now if only my dad can get our Photoshop...
So I guess this is goodbye. I will miss all of you sorely. Soccer is taking over my life. Literally. It's just about all I talked about at lunch today, and I spent the whole day thinking about it. It's crazy.. >_< There's no cute guys in any of my classes either... Which is totally gay.
Highschool isn't what I expected. I didn't meet my "Prince Charming"... Soccer is /tough/, and Katy and Rachel aren't in any of my classes- Laura's in my lunch period We've had homework every day so far and 6 pre-tests/tests/quizes >_o

School starts Tuesday. Dammit. I hate school. Plus, my friend told me that on the first day of soccer, we run around the campus twice. Shit. That's more than three miles. And I don't get a bus this year. I live 1 /12 miles from school. It's downhill on the way there, and uphill on the way back. I mean, this hill is HUGE. It's practically a mountain X_x Once soccer starts, I'll get up at 5:30 in the morning, be there for practice at 6:30 am, go to school, stay after school for practice until 6:00 pm, then head over to my other soccer practice from 6:30-7:30 or 8 ish, then go to Girl Scouts until 8:30 or 9:00. Then do homework, take a shower, and sleep. But Girls Scouts is only on Tuesdays. And Soccer practice (not school-related) is Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Saturday's I'll play soccer games and referee. Damn, this sucks.
Today at Church, I had to go early for "Acolyte Training" (I've been to three of them already.). I'm not supposed to be acolyting any more, since I finished Confirmation. All the Youth were supposed to go, but no, it was just the littler kids. And me. So, now I'm practically signed up for Acolyting for another year and a half, even though I Usher every second Sunday of the month.
I got roped into singing with the Praise Band at Church today. The piano player made me. She wanted me up there so she wouldn't be the only girl. I didn't know three of the songs. We practiced for about 45 minutes, then we sang. Now she wants me to sing every Sunday and go to the practices. Which are Thursdays from 7:00-9:00. Damn, more stuff to do. I'll only be able to go to half my soccer practices...
This has to be the most boring journal entry you've ever read, huh?
Harry kept me up for three hours last night. I won't go into it. Let's just say niether me nor my sisters wanted him in our rooms, but I got stuck with him and he wouldn't sleep. Declawed kittens aren't fun to have on your bed while you're trying to sleep.
Enough of the angsty teenager-ness, now. More... "good" stuff.
I made my "Bob" shirt! It's white with black sharpie >_o And I picked out what I'm wearing on the first day of school. My Bob shirt, my favorite jeans, my cool "new" tennis shoes (that I messed up at Pride Camp). I'm not sure which belt I'm gonna wear though. I might wear make up on the first day, it depends on if I can steal some from my sister and if my mom doesn't crack up laughing. *shrug* I dunno.
There's an electric guitar that comes with a 10-watt amp, extra stings, and a 15 lesson DVD for only $100 at Target. I might get it. Depends on whether or not my parents want to chip in to buy part of it O_o They probably won't. And I need to save for a car. But I really want and electric guitar. Wow, that rhymed X3

Maddi and the new kitten Harry aren't getting along very well. They can be in the same room, but if Harry's within ten feet of Maddi, Maddi growls and hisses. Vacation was another story. Do you remember me saying I was excited to go? I WAS SO WRONG TO BE. Never go to West Texas if you can help it, especially not Terlingua. Balmorhea was okay, but Terlingua... yuck. The whole point of the vacation, I found out, was to go hiking. Okay, hiking's not bad, but that's /all we did/. Yuck.
OMG HARRY POTTER SIX ROCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It took me 10 min 17 seconds I need to start running again. But it's so hot.. yesterday's heat index was 106 farenheight at about 2 pm >_<
I went to the theme park Thursday with my friend Meaghan.. there we SO MANY hott guys it was crazy O_O I was like "...wow." and we kept going "Did you see the guy in the white?" "Look at the guy in the red!" and stuff like that XD It was great. Only, they were all older than us... the only guys we saw that were are age were, like, not. yeah.
I'm going to be in a seprerate camp from my sister, I'll be with the high school group and she'll be with the jr high one. Which means even more hott guys

Today was the last day of soccer camp. camp was SO MUCH FUN OMG WOW!!!! I love that camp.
My team went (but not all of us). It was at St. Mary's University (a long drive, but oh well). We decided we're staying at an overnight one next year.
Possibly the reason it was so fun was because of Cor. Cor was one of our coaches (the other one was Q, but he was kinda.. well, we didn't like him very much). He coaches the women's team at STMU, so he's sued to girls+soccer ^_^ He's sooo funny and way cool. He's also really good at soccer duh XD
All the coaches (including the litle kid's coaches) were: Cor, Q, Quar (Q's brother), Chris, Chris, and Chris. The last Chris was new, and he only went today for this week's camp. The other two Chris..es.... looked EXACTLY ALIKE. I'm dead serious. They could've been twins. They had long, dirty blonde hair, the same build, everything! It was weird. But they weren't really related they should be. The fist coached the little little kids and the other did goalies and lifegaurding. Quar is cool too, but not as cool as Cor. He coached the older little kids.
THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK: That would definately have to be when Chris (the 'twin' Chris who coaches the little kids) came over to Cor while we were waiting to be picked up (my mom was late, almost everyone else had left.. still about 7-8 people were there) and kissed him!!! It was great XD Chris was taller (Cor's short!) and when he pulled away he swept his hair back. Cor was like "I've never felt so alive in my life!!" and Chris said "I feel GIDDY!!" and waved his arms and skipped around. Cor wasl ike "Me too!!" and started skipping too. They aren't really gay/bi... Cor's married and has kids! They were kidding. Not that I have anything against gay/bi people I was SO MAD that I didn't have my camera out though. Grrrrrrr!!! It would've been great!! XD Perfect blackmail...
We scrimmaged against the coaches today, first the little kids, then the kinda little kids, then the older kids. We just comtinued the score. The caches won (of course. They've never lost... but next year...), 12-11. But they played easy against the little kids and the kinda little kids.. not really us so much, but I know they could've beaten us by a LOT more if they wanted to. They let the little kids get ahead by about 5-1 XD Cor actually laid down on the ground so one kid could chip the ball over him
There was only one guy our age there, he was /really/ good, too. His name was Chris (I know, I know, lotsa Chrises!). He was cool though. He's gonna make a great dad someday hehe. Someone from our team knows his girlfriend.. I didn't like him or anything, I could just tell from how he acted he would be cool at the "dad" job ^^
Lotsa cool stuff happened all week, but you all pro'lly don't really care about it.. so I'll put up how our schedule went and talk about something else for a little while.
8:30-11:00 - arrive, warm ups, drills and exercises
11:00-12:00 - Lunch (the food was, for the most part, nasty. But you're hungry, so you don't care XD)
12:00-1:00 - watch movies in the locker room (sounds weird, but the locker room was big and.. yeah)
1:00-2:50 - scrimmage against each other
3:00-4:00 - go swimming in the outdoor pool, then leave
I kinda rounded some times and stuff. We had to walk every where, the pool was pretty far. We watched The Incredibles, Soccer Dog (little kid coach Chris was obsessed with that movie. "Look! It's socccer dog!!" "Soccer dog!" "Be quiet, we're watching Soccer Dog!") (the plot was exactly the same as Air Bud), and part of Major Payne.
It was hot this weel. Upper nineties most of the day, with higher heat indexes.
I ONLY HAVE 2 DAYS OF PRIDE CAMP!! Monday's the 4th, so no camp, Tuesday I hafta go, Wednesday I have a swim meet (yea, no more swim team after that either!), and I have to go on Thursday. I might just see if I can blow Thursday off, and just go Tuesday, tell 'em where I was and will be, then skip out on Thursday's "Fun Run." It's next summer in San Antonio (Texas) Here's all the info- [link] it'd be AWESOME tp be able to meet some of ya'll there, I swear, it'd rock! It's perfect, too! My mom is having me go, and if ya'll go, we can set up a time/place where we can all meet ^________^ this rocks!!! And don't wory if your not Lutheran or anything *waves a dissmissive hand* If your Christian, no one really cares, and if your not, hey we can convert you! (kidding!! XD) Come anyway! At the one in Atlanta a year or two ago, 20,000 people from all over the world went!!! That's a lot XD Yay!! I'm way excited ^^
Anyway, my grandparents came down for awhile and kicked me out of the bed (and off the computer, I swear they psend more time on it than I do!). They left earlier today though. And I have 100-some deviations to go through
One week of Pride Camp, then a week of soccer camp, then a week of Pride Camp, then a week of Church Camp and I regain my summer after that!! YAY! XD I hate Pride Camp. It's evil. Soccer camp rocks and Church Camp is always fun (this year we're gonna be seperate from all the Jr. High kids and be with the other highschoolers *parties*)
Only 26 days 'til HP&THBP!!! I've been frantically reading all the books (we had to go to Borders and get another COS because we lost out copy XD) to prepare for it COS is on TV tonight, gotta watch it ^_^ I have to go to Borders right after church camp ends, the 16th is the last day and on the 19th, the new Switchfoot CD "Nothing is Sound" comes out!! *can't wait for July* I've also been drawing fanart XD Yes, I'm obsessed, but how often does a new HP book come out? Not very XD

Swim team is awful lately, our head coach is an evil tyrant. She's making me swim backstroke (BACKSTROKE!) at the meet!! Terrible... I suck so bad at it, my time is, like, a minute for 50 meters >_< evil coach... AND she DIDN'T put me in breaststroke, my best stroke that I've gotten first in at both meets so far! She's an IDIOT, I swear she's telling our coaches to have us do sets that equal about 10,000-12,000 meters in all (that doesn't sound like a lot, but for swimming it is- 100 meteres is down and back twice) in the space of an hour. Crazy. And this is /summer/ swim team, it's supposed to be easy and fun! Our coaches (not the head) don't make us do her evil sets, though. We get to do fun/easy stuff ^^

We maxed out all week in the weight room (maxing out it lifting as much as possible). My maxes:

My shoulders hurt, but not my legs so much anymore. I stayed up late last night reading The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (book 1). It's really good (I already saw the movie.. that was good too). I'm about 1/2 way through and I started reading it at about 10:30 last night.
The new Harry Potter book comes out in 35 days!!! I can't wait! But I need to read the series twice before it comes out o_o I've already read the series about 17 times, maybe more. I'm becoming more and more addicted to Mugglenet, an awesome Harry Potter fansite with just about every detail to all the book and everything so far on it check it out! -> [link]
I need to get writing... I did a quick picture on my tablet the other day, but I'm gonna wait 'til I do more stuff to upload it (I don't want it on my front page thing... I was misuing the pre-made image brush tools XD it was fun).
My dad yelled at me and my sisters yesterday for "not doing our jobs" (that was my sisters, I did all my chores), "laying around on our butts all day," (excuse me, I went to Pride Camp!!), "making the house look like a pit," (my older sister was working on swim team stuff.. she's a coach), "being rude," (that was my older sister talking to him on the phone in the morning," and "assuming we can have friends over and do whatever without asking anyone." (my younger sister did that). So basically, he yelled and looked mostly at me and I just had to stand there and take it even though I did everything I was supposed to and didn't do anything wrong while waiting for him to finish so I could take a shower (I was still in my swim suit- we had just gotten back from practice). Oh, and he also accused me of eating all the cookies (which I didn't!!!). Dads...
I'm supposed to be cleaning my room (which is already clean) and walking the dog right now... but I haven't even gotten dressed yet XD I'm still tired... I woke up at about 6:30 and realized I didn't have Pride Camp today >_<

I have to get up at 6 am and I'm gonna have to walk home starting next week. I also have swim team practice 8:30-9:-30 at night every day Sunday-Thursday, plus swim meets. Then I have soccer camp (I get a break from Pride Camp and go to a camp that's actually fun!) for a week in July. It's going to be really hot this sumemr in Texas because last summer was cool.
I seem to be attracting upperclassmen(actually, upperclasswomen) friends at Pride Camp. I managed to get into a weight lifting group with Vanessa (my older sister's enemy, Head Drum Major, and a senior) and Suzy (someone who moved here from Ohio and is also a senior). To tell the truth, I was groupless and they took me in XD but when we were running agilities/sets, I was jump roping by some girls on the soccer team. They asked my name, but that's about all they said to me. I suck at jump roping. After "camp" I was walking out of the parking lot and they stopped me to introduce themselves and say "bye." I asked if they knew my friend Lori (who's on the soccer team) and they got all excited when they found out I knew her. They were even more friendly after that. These people are on the Varsity soccer team, which practically means they're upperclassmen(women) ^_^ I guess it's a good thing I'm making older friends.. I'll be "well-connected" and they can tell me where my classes are on the first day of school
The soccer coach is doing "camp and I guess he's okay. He calls me "Red" (presumably because my face turns red when I work out). I guess it's not bad to have a nickname, and if the coach knows me, I 'll have a better chance of being picked for the team in the fall.
I need sleep. I get home 9:45-10 evey night and have to take a shower after that. Otherwise my hair would turn green. How sexy
There are some pretty hot guys at Pride Camp though. Not that they'd ever look twice at me... They're still hot. But not the guys who went to my school last year. They're annoying asses >_< They're the ones who made up do double pushups today because they were talking They won't be popular next year though *glee*
Richard and Javier go to Pride Camp too. Richard's been pretty nice to me lately, but he ditches me to hang out with Courtney (a guy friend) and other once-popular-but-not-anymore people. It gets kind of annoying.
It's weird, though... One of the once-populars gave me a ride home after "camp" so I didn't have to walk. She wasn't popular two years ago and she was our friend then.. Basketball made her popular, though. She's pretty cool/nice for being a once-popular. I was happy not to walk anyway.
If you read all of this, you're probably insane and thinking "why the HECK does she think I care?!?!"
I haven't been drawing lately, I'm to tired/sore.. I might have a few pics to upload, I'm not sure. I can't feel my Quads I guess camp could be worth it. It'll seem fun six weeks from now, I'm sure (not XD). An hour of weight lifting and an hour of sets and agilities... I dunno.

Yay! Anyways, my subscription (my lovely, amazing, awesome subscription....) expires today I'm very sad.....
So! I'm OPENING COMMISIONS to whoever wants something. I'll do just about anything, pics, poems, short stories... whatever! But you'll hafta pay me through subscription ^_^ it's only $4.95 more one month, so I guess that'll be my base price. Depending on what you want, I may ask you to pay for two months or three months. But that'd be for really big project-type things. Yeah I know my art's not that great, but I really like the subscriptions.... so yeah. I'll definately be working really hard on anything you commision. If you're interested, just sent me a note... Yeah.

I hate myself.
Today was Confirmation in Church for my class. Which means you're an official adult member from when you get confirmed on. And I blew it.
We were getting oil put on our heads and the pastor had just finished doing me when I strted to feel... blah. I was dizzy, my stomach hurt, and everything strted going dark. I put my hand up on my forehead (I had just ogtten a migraine), but took it down so I wouldn't look rude. I kept thinking "don't pass out, don't ruin this for everyone else..." and trying to focus on the pastor. No good. Everything kept getting darker and darker. My mom asked "are you okay?" and I said "I can't see..." Then I passed out. They said I woke up 2 seconds later, but it felt like I was out for five minutes. My dad had caught me and I was clinging to him. He helped me to my chair and they gave us our Bibles. Then I had to go lay down in the pastor's office and my mom called to tell me sister to bring some Ibuprofen. It sucked. I ruined everyone else's Confirmation by passing out! Then people kept asking me if I ate anything for breakfast and I said "Yeah, two cinnamon rolls" (it's true) everytime. But the weird thing is, after about 20 minutes, I got up from pastor's office and was, like, really hyper. I ate cake, joked with my friends, everything. And Iwas okay at the second service, too.... I dunno. It sucked.
Oh, and sorry for the mass upload I snuck on and had to upload everything really fast...
On a lighter note, I won a week of free subscription from devART it's way awesome. I wish I could subscribe....

In Social Studies, we have to do a "Wax Museum" where we research one person, then dress like them, make a poster, and come to school so we can tell the 7th graders about who "we" are. I picked Samuel Clemens ("Mark Twain"). In LA we have to make a webquest (thing where you do a lot of research, then anwser a bunch of questions and do three projects) about WWII. In Choir (yes, choir) we have to design a CD. We make a front cover (including album title and stuff), a back cover (with 10-12 song names), and write at least two songs. In Science, we have this impossible to understand table, then we have to make an "animated" power point about "Continental Drift." Plus, in GT we have to finish up our projects so we can present them next Monday to Central Office. All of these projects are due Wednesday except the SS one....
Enough whining! School's out in 12 1/2 days (not including weekends) and finals make up the last week. The band and choir are going to Fiesta Texas all day on Friday!!!!! Then, next week, Monday we go to Central Office, Tueday is free, Wednesday we go to the highschool for the Algebra exam, Thursday is the Wax Museum, and Friday is free.
We redid my room yesterday! The bed is under the window, and there's a LOT of space when you first walk in the room I'm so happy! My cat likes to hide between the bed and the wall and likes to lay on the windowsill (and part of the bed XD) and look outside.
I started working on my ID today ^_^ it's gonna be SO cool yayness!!!
Anyway, I gotta get off the computer now....

Oh, and I'm thinking about another name for me... I won't change my DevART account (to much hassle!), but I signed up on the Yerf forums with it and I just thought I'd let ya'll know- "Cha'Kwaina" which is Hopi for "one who cries." I'm not applying for Yerf (at least, not yet), but the forums there are really interesting and helpful and you need an account to see everything *shrug* Anyway, that's the name I'll be using if I get any new galleries.
I've also got a lot of pics to put up here. I recently finished my sketchbook and started in a new one. I drew 50 pictures in 45 days (not including doodles and pictures on lined paper) yeah. I came up with what I think is a cool character design, I might make her a character and name her Cha'Kwaina... I can never seem to keep character though. But she's fun to draw I'll upload some pics after I get through the camments and stuff.
Also, I got a digital camera for my B-day (it was the 25th )!!!!!! So I'll be uploading a lot more photos (I love photography). I'll try not to swamp ya'll with a mass upload when I get a chance to put stuff up... And since my Birthday passed, it's time for a new ID! I've got a plan in mond for what I'll be doing, but it's gonna take me awhile.
Anyway, I'd better get back to those deviations! If you read this whole journal (it's the longest one I've ever put up on DevART!!), yay for you! You just wasted... a long time XD anyway, yeah. Once again, I'm sorry!!!!!!!!!

Overall, her deviations received 324 comments (wow! thanks!!!) and were added to deviants' favourites 32 times (you guys rock ), while she commented 745 times, making about 1.1 comments per day since she joined DA (your art is all so awesome!).
