SO, i went through it and kept the creme of the crop artists that I enjoy watching and who I enjoy talking to. I trimmed down from over 300 people to 125!!!!!

Anywho, expect something new and bizzare in the next few days. Hope I don't offend anyone with what i'm about to do, but I know ONE person in particular who may enjoy it a bit too much ^w^

Also, that kiriban pic I promised a while back is just about done. Will get that posted by Monday.

For the longest time, i've wanted to a sickly cute but deranged comic. Something that people, at a glance, would be like, "ZOMG!!! SO CUTE!" Then when they read the comic, they'd twitch in confusion and near herniation.

Also, for your kiriban, miss Synge himself volunteer...and as in volunteer i mean i'm forcing him to...do a special comic just for you! Look forward to that for the end of this week, or the beginning of next.

Also, for my special gallery, i'm hoping to have 5 drawings in there come the end of the month. That's when i'll be contacting me watchers with the code. ^w^

Oh, the animation is a bit on a stand still at the moment. Once I get flash on my home computer, then the madness will resume.

Still in need of a few voice actors for that, but i'll start begging and pleading once the time truly comes.

My new OC won't be making her official apperance for another 2-3 issues, simply because I have a few ideas i want to do with Jaslene and Sam, as well as Jaykoya, in the next couple of issues.

I have not forgotten about my 100 picture challenge either. I will have my "When Pigs Fly" picture up by friday.

I LOVE drawing Sam, Jaslene, Synge, Jaykoya (who will be making another cameo soon) and my new OC (for sure) however...i'm getting...the itch..

The fandom...itch


and I REALLY want to draw some spoof comics of some of my favorite anime characters, mostly Naruto. Antonia ( ) is the main reason for this. Her jokes with Gai and Kakashi make me ROLL!

So I want to encorporate that into some spoof comics, however, I don't know how they'll look in my style...so i'll be doing a couple of trial runs pretty soon, after I finish up my OC drawing and Kiriban drawing. It's going to be saweet!

So, i'll be doing them pretty soon. Call it a spin off to the Synged universe. Don't know what I'll call it, if anything. SO stay tuned!

As for the other one, I AM going to draw my first expansion drawing. Jalsene will piss Sam off and the expansion will ensue. Stay tuned for more on this.

Also, I am working on a little 3 character short animation skit. I was going to do Synge as my first animation, but I want to get more used to drawing Sam and Jaslene before I devel in that.

I'll be showing you guys a sketch of the threesome soon. I penciled one down yesterday, just gotta draw over it with my tablet in photoshop.

Creative Cock Block (CCB)- Meaning: The hindering of an artist to fully express him/herself due to one's own 1. Insecurities 2. Alpha Dominance Syndrome 3. Stupidity.


Used in a sentence.

"Man...She is an utter creative cock block! She made me change that ENTIRE storyline up just because she couldn't stand the fact that my idea was more interesting then hers."

Reasoning behind the creation of such a phrase? Simple!

My friend in arms, as I call him, was editing a video at work. He did this awesome voice over. Like, epic announcer voice over level. Made the video look and sound AMAZING out of what would have been a rather insignificant video. Around the corner came this idiot, as we call her (she's the accountant's daughter, thus has a lot of nay say around here). She tells him to remove the music and his voice over cause, to her, it seemed, "Corny."

The ENTIRE purpose of the video was to grab attention and have people say, "Oh wow, i'm going to actually go check that out!"

Now, because of her excessive need to Creative Cock Block, The video has been redused to a permodial version of its formal self.

Sounds to me like she has a HUGE case of Creative Penis Envy...

Also, Another decision I have made: I am bringing them to life!

*insert evil doctor laugh here*

I have toon boom and flash up and running on my home computer. SO I will be working on bringing Sam, Jay/Jaslene and Synge to life!

I already have a script and storyboard made out for the first animation. It will be a quick 30-45 second cartoon. A trailer of sorts.

I will be releasing it on Newgrounds as well as Youtube to spread out what I am dubbing, "The Synge-olution!"

Now, I will definitely need...2 voice actors.

I will be doing the voice of Synge himself, manipulating my voice to make it sound Synge

And I will be doing the voice for when Jay is Jay.

However, i'll need 2 female voice overs. One for Sam, the other for Jaslene.

SO if you think you have what it takes and would like to be a part of what is the beginning of the Synge-olution, Note me and i'll talk scripts with you ^w^

Also, if you have any prior voice acting done on other animations or what not, a link to it would be awesome! That way I can gauge which one I'll be using you as.

As for his actualy name, Synge will be calling him...um...her by his new name Jaslene, which may or may not stick for a while.

There will also be episodes where Sam has her way and certain nick names will surface for Jaslene as well. This mini-arc will be fun and will push my own limits as I try new things with it.

I'm also working on a more...action filled story-arc, as well as a flash animation using both flash and a new program called, "Toon Boom." Hopefully I will be able to truly bring Synge to life soon! As well as Jaslene and Sam.

Expect some trial animations soon, as I begin to truly tap into the potential that is Synge-alution!

Spread the word! Synge will soon be a house hold name!

with THAT said, i'm going to be working like a MAD man these next few days in hopes of finishing up SOMETHING for gothology. all my ideas I WANT to do span over 6 pages or more and there is NO way i'll have them ready at the quality I want for gothology. So i'm just going to do a 3 page spread of a quickie idea I have just to get my name out there and in the book.

On top of that, i'll be getting synge back on track officially with the results of Jay's spiked drink. Be prepared to grin!

Then there is the matter of the kiriban catch. Synge and I have something special planned for her so I hope she'll be a bit patient as I finish it up.

What else...

Oh yea, my 'extra' stuff i'm working on. Atm, I only have 1 drawing ready for it, but once I get a solid gallery for it, i'll give you guys information about it. until then, continue to wonder what i'm talking about ^w^

Speaking of extra, I will be doing Logik's second drawing of Alyssa after all of this is said and Done, THEN hopefully i'll be ready to open commissions.

And one final note, this Saturday is Halloween. Or as I call it with my church, "Family Fest." AND I got volunteered to draw caricatures in a booth for 3 hours this Saturday....

SO that means i'll be working my fingers into nubs come Sunday to get things ready for Monday, it being the deadline for gothology

so that's the forecast in a flash! Bout to head to town and exchange this game I got from gamestop cause it doesn't even work

but this new character i'm thinking of. it's going to be a she. Not just any ordinary she though: A living dead she.

Kinda of a mix of a mummy and a vampire. Or maybe just a vampire, or maybe just a mummy. Cause mummies are essentially just zombies wrapped up in bandages.

I heard a phrase on TNA (Total Nonstop Action) wrestling the other night. The announcer taz called one of the girls (named daphney) "Zombie Hot".

Ever since then i've been thinking of a character just like that. one who is "Zombie Hot".

Many ideas have run about in my mind. Haven't made a decision yet, but i'll be posting 3 different ideas here on DA and make a poll about them to see which one you guys dub "Zombie Hot"

also, when I can get them in, i've got Logik's final piece for his heroine chick, kiriban catch, and i'm working on a new icon. I'm kind of tired of this one. Time for synge to take his proper place.

He brought humor and fun to kids all over the USA. I never missed a showing of the SMSS when I was young. Mario and Luigi, both real and cartoon, made me laugh and love the games so much more.

I even loved the credits, where Lou did the world famous dance, "The Mario."

Come on kids, let's do the Mario one last time!

We will miss you Lou, you brought happiness to kids everywhere!

One in particular is art work (possibly web comic) of a steam punk/futuristic western fiction. Well, I took that idea and RAN with that mother lover (yea i said it)

I found a couple of places online. The pay isn't super amazing (most are rather miniscual). However, money is money is money.

THUS, i'll be adding said jobs to my payload, on top of finishing up my gothology piece.

Things are looking up!

But don't be afraid. Synge is still my number one priority, so i'll be updating him regularly as I have.

So, this is what this means.


Instead of having Synge next monday, i'll be posting his newest page (with the 'new' and 'improved' jay) on friday instead.

I may do this for the month of october, or until I finish up my entry.

I'm planning on doing a 4 page spread for it. I figure if I concentrate 1 page a week, i'll have a week left to fix any left over details hanging around.

SO, don't be scared if you don't see mister synge and the crew Monday. They're coming, just at a slower rate.

On top of that, after I get the entry for MLC, i'll return to posting the comics on Monday again.

1. new synge on monday as normal. It will be a synge and Sam dialogue discussing what Synge 'saw' last issue.

2. I'm currently working on a website for Synge to call home. It shall be names Dredged Ink. Synge, along with others, will call it home for their mayhem.

3. Because of a little hooplah with finances that happened during the past few months, I haven't been able to save a dime for my new intuos 4. however, now that things are back on track and good to go, i'm able to begin again. i'm HOPING to have it by the first part of October. I MAY have it as early as september 19th (MY BIRTHDAY YA'LL!), pending how much birthday cash I reel in. At the moment, I have about $100 saved up, out of a possible $360 (factoring in shipping, handling and other goodness). Once I get that bad boy....Synge and the gang will have a new make over: Color.

Synge: What color AM I anyway? I figured out my arms and legs are black, but what about the rest of me?

Jay: Yea, what color is my hair and my snappy jacket?

Sam: I can kinda guess what color my clothes are...right?

Heh....only time will tell.

Also, on the gothology front, i'll have a preview page of the comic i'm doing for them coming up hopefully before next Friday, so look forward to that.

To tell you in advance: The Synge you know on Mondays is NOT the same Synge you'll see in this comic for Gothology.

Synge: There is only 1 Synge FOOL!

So don't be surprised when you see a darker side of Synge and Sam in this comic. It'll be more serious then funny.
