I've made some real progress on my Bowling Pin Moai and my cherry cross.

What beats new tools?  Nothing.  Not a damn thing.

Pics?  Ask nicely and I'll see what I can do.  I'm too busy watching Army of Darkness to get the camera ready.  No really.  It's not happening right now...maybe tomorrow.

Yep.  I got an interesting text from my brother, :devgbensch:.  He started asking me what sizes of stock I typically use and if I needed more.  Like, a lot more.  Like a 30+ foot cherry tree more.

Yes, I'm serious.

I reminded him that I'll need to be able to transport it home, so I'm not completely sure of how much I will have in the end...but there is more coming.

I'm thinking it will first be used on a larger skull.  Or a full body tiki.  I'd like to get a bit of practice on doing the fine details.

Does anyone out there have any suggestions or comments?

The only real requirement I have is that it have rear-facing camera.  I was interested in the Nexus 7 until I noticed it only has a (pitiful) forward camera.

I'd like to stay under $300 if at all possible.

Please, any suggestions would be more than welcome.

I'm trying a different process with this one - as well as a different design (i.e. lower jaw)...we'll see how it turns out.

I'm attempting to keep the creative juices flowing...emphasis on attempting.
