Updates

To be honest, I'm going to be shocked if anyone can help me because I remember almost nothing about this. But I just remembered this song that came out in the 90's. I think the money that the song made was given to a certain charity or something. It was sung by a lot of people who were famous at the time. I know that The Backstreet Boys and Aaron Carter were in it... or maybe it was just Nick and Aaron, and not The Backstreet Boys? And I think Hanson might have sung in it. And maybe N'SYNC and 98 Degrees? I really don't know.

But if by chance you know what song I'm talking about can you please tell me what it was called, because this is driving me nuts!

EDIT: I found it! The song was called "Let the Music Heal Your Soul" and was sung by Touché, The Boyz, The Moffatts, Scooter, Aaron Carter, the Backstreet Boys, Mr. President, N'Sync, Sqeezer, Blümchen, R'N'G and Gil. They called themselves the Bravo All Stars. I totally forgot about Gil! He had a song I really liked in the 90's. Oh man, what was it? Here we go again.

CSS design by Priscillia

Since our trailer is buried in snow right now we couldn't bring our own horses but we got to play with a couple that live at the barn that hosts the play days.

I had always had my eye on this adorable chestnut roan two year old. Her two pasture mates were being played with last time so I was hoping I'd get to play with her but unfortunately she's going to auction soon. Instead I got to play with the most adorable silver buckskin Quarter Horse named Crunch. He was so sweet! He wasn't the smartest horse lol, but he tried his hardest at everything I asked him to do. He totally reminded me of Howard Bamboo, from Glee. His personality was very much like that.

CSS design by Priscillia

Updates

Tonight's episode was epic.

Did anyone catch that final dance number!? All the dance steps were taken from the dances they did in the previous episodes. I caught the Single Ladies dance, the Last Name dance, the It's My Life / Confessions dance, the Crazy In Love / Hair dance, and the Push It dance. Yeah, I'm obsessive enough to have noticed all that.

And that ending took me by surprise! I love Emma and Will! But at the same time I kind of want Will to go back to Terri. She's crazy annoying but I still love her. And Sue better come back! I love to hate her, and I hate to love her. And I don't know whether I want Finn to wind up with Quinn or Rachel. Or Kurt... And I don't know if I want Rachel to end up with Finn or Puck. And I don't know if I want Puck to end up with Rachel or Quinn. And I don't know if I want Quinn to end up with Finn or Puck. Basically I'm happy with whatever the writers decide.

Whatever happens, we have to wait until April to find out. This sucks! Four months without Glee. Four months of Glum. I've really overdone that glum line now.

And on a non Glee note, I was offered yet another free horses. Grr, why do people do this to me!? And this one was a freaking half Haflinger! Everyone knows I can't resist Haflingers! Luckily I wasn't shown any pictures so it was easier for me to say no. Seven horses and a donkey is already too much for my mom and I. Plus there's something else that I'm not going to mention until I'm more sure of what's going on. A couple of you know what I'm talking about. The rest of you will have to wait...

And wow, I'm in the middle of the most randomest text conversation with my friend right now:

Friend: hey is your phone on?
Me: yes'm
Friend: good! so wut's up with you?
Me: idk. you texted me lol. wut's up with you?
Friend: i'm driving to mike's in this storm.
Me: you're crazy. shouldn't your eyes be on the road and not on your phone?"

Yeah. I have crazy friends.

CSS design by Priscillia

OMG it's so fast! I can't believe how fast this is!

I don't have it on my laptop yet though. Turns out way back when I had to reinstall XP on there I forgot to reinstall the wireless drivers. Whatever, I'll get around to that eventually, but at least my Mac is up and running.

Haha the guys who came to hook us up weren't very much older than me. They must have been in their mid 20's, around my sister's age. The one guy was asking me about my desktop wallpaper, which is of Mark Salling right now. He asked who the guy was from. When I told him that he was from Glee he said "Oh yeah.
Okay, it's late, I'm tired, so I'm going to keep this brief.

RANTS:

1) WTF!? DOLLHOUSE WAS FREAKING CANCELED!? SERIOUSLY!? WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE WORLD!? *deep breath* I'm calm now. But seriously, won't anyone give Joss Whedon a break!? They're still going to air the rest of the season but after that it's done. ARG! Last year at this time I was complaining about Eli Stone getting canceled in its second season. This year Dollhouse. What's next year? Glee!?

2) Is it too much to ask for a flysheet sized 68 or 70? Preferable orange, but green's good too. Really now, this shouldn't be so hard to find, but apparently it is.

3) Maybe it's just because I am supposed to be getting high speed on Monday (this time I swear lol!) but I am getting even more fed up with this dial up. I think it's moving more slow every day, just to spite me.

4) I'm still not over the cancellation of Dollhouse.

HAPPY THINGS:

5) Glee was awesome tonight! Wheels is definitely my new favourite episode.

6) I went to The Royal Winter Fair yesterday. Got myself a camo haybag, a flymask with a face on it for Elliott, and a blanket for Daisy. After that I went to a mall. THERE WERE NO MUSIC STORES! One hundred and sixty something stores and no music store! So then I went to Best Buy and got the original miniseries of V and the 4th season of Bones on DVD. Then I went to Chapters and got a new Twilight poster.

7) I have tomorrow off, then I work Friday and Saturday. But after that my bosses are going on vacation and I have 13 days off!

8) Candy canes are in stores again!

9) This line from tonight's Glee: "I want to be very clear. I still have use of my penis."

Originally they were pretty sure that we would get a good signal from where we lived and that they could hook us up that day. But as it turns out, the two quarries we live down the road from were causing some kind of interference and we couldn't get a good signal. They're coming back a week from Monday to build a tower thing against our house so they can get the receiver higher up. But until then I'm still stuck on dial up.

And while I'm ranting, why is it that I always have so much trouble finding NCIS soundtracks!? Seriously, the first volume wasn't available anywhere near me. I had to order it off Amazon, and it was back ordered 3 weeks. Now the 2nd volume is out and I'm having the same problem. I'll probably just buy it off iTunes but it still bugs me that I can never find them in stores. At least our Wal-Mart had the Glee soundtrack, though. I absolutely love the 2 new songs, Defying Gravity and Dancing With Myself. Chris Colfer has the most unique voice, I love him.

One more day until we get high speed (assuming everything goes well). So, to celebrate, I have decided to compile a list (in no particular order) of things that I plan to do once I am as cool as you guys:

1) Download the NCIS Volume 2 album,
2) Download Jericho's album (Mark Salling from Glee's band),
3) Download even more music. So much music that I won't have time to listen to all of it in my lifetime,
4) Watch Glee online,
5) Download Vitamin D, the episode of Glee that my mom missed, and burn it to DVD so she can watch it,
6) Go to globaltv.com and watch TV classics online,
7) See if I can find more sites that have TV classics. Perhaps somewhere that has episodes of Fame online?
8) Watch said TV classics that I went looking for,
8) Finish watching that episode of B.J. and the Bear that I started watching on dial up. Seriously, 6 hours for 20 minutes? No thank you,
9) See if I can find more episodes of B.J. and the Bear,
10) Watch said episodes of B.J. and the Bear,
11) Make so many more manips since it won't take all night to browse through stock,
12) Upload so many more manips, since it won't take all night to upload my art,
13) Give my stock account some loving, since like I said in number 12, uploading won't take all night,
14) Finish watching The Guild online,
15) Finally upload those American Idol concert videos to my Facebook account,
16) Video chat with my best friend who's away at university, and finally
17) Set up a web cam where people can watch me watch TV.

And that's just the first hour of my plans!

is awesome!

Well, sort of. You should definitely go see it, but don't keep your expectations too high. With all the hype behind it, I was expecting it to be extremely scary, and thus didn't find most of it too bad. But the ending really got to me. And my friend left the theater half way through because she was so scared.

I definitely recommend it, especially in theaters. I doubt it would be as good on DVD. Even though I didn't find most of it scary, the ending more than made up for that in my mind. I've been sleeping with the TV on ever since I saw it, to block out any creepy sounds I may hear.

It feels so good to have been able to sleep in today! I told my mom to wake me up at 11, but I ended up sleeping until noon. Now I just hope I can still sleep tonight or this whole thing is going to start all over.

Anyways, the clinics were amazing. My mom got to borrow a Parelli fluidity saddle to ride in for hers. It was too small for her so she didn't like it but the clinician let me ride around in it afterward and I loved it. I need to save up a little more but I am definitely going to buy one. Thing is, they come in two sizes: regular and super wide. I had always planned on getting a regular for Penny. The Parelli saddles are great for helping with hollow backs and other saddle problems that I've had with Penny. But I can only afford one, and Penny's getting up in the years. As much as she could use one I'm thinking I should get a super wide, which would fit Elliott and Savvy. Since they're 4 and 1 years old, I'd get way more years out of it then if I got one with Penny in mind.

On another note, I probably won't be too active this week. I'll still be on most, if not every day, but I probably won't be commenting very much. I am seriously fed up with my internet connection and this crappy USB modem I have. My internet has felt slower than usual. Plus my modem keeps "falling out." The internet is disconnecting, claiming the modem fell out, but it never does and I can reconnect no problem. *headdesk* But on the much more brighter side of things, we're getting high speed! The people are coming to check things out a week today (Thursday) and they will probably hook us up that day, too. I've got a new manip I'm nearly finished with. I'll upload it after we get high speed. I can't wait to see how fast it'll take to upload.

I probably won't be on much over the next few days. I'm going with my mom to help her out at her first ever clinic on Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday I work and then in the afternoon we're going to a museum to see the rug my mom has in there, and then on Saturday and Sunday I have a clinic. On top of that I work early Monday morning so I may have died from exhaustion by then.

In other news, we no longer have any sheep. We used to have a mother and daughter in the barnyard to keep the grass down, but my mom was getting sick of getting them sheared each year. We gave them to a boy my dad used to teach, who is really into sheep and 4-H. He knows more about looking after them then we do anyways, so it's for the best. But it's still a little sad. The sheep were the first animals we got when we moved. And when we got Neiko, since she was my only horse at the time, she lived with the sheep. Some of my best memories with her involve the sheep. But like I said, it's for the best and it's time to move on. This kid is probably going to breed them and if he does he might have the lambs at the fall fair so that'll be fun to see.

I must have drifted off at about 7:15 and I woke up about an hour later. I had no idea what happened! Lol, it was the strangest feeling. I pressed the button on my remote that made the time come up and saw that it was 8:15. I assumed that meant 8:15 in the morning. I was still so tired though, I kept thinking that I wanted to go int my bed instead of going to the barn. Then I clued in to the fact that I wasn't in my bed. I was in my easy chair where I watch TV. I started kind of panicking, I had no idea how I got there! Then I started freaking out because I couldn't remember anything about the night before. Lmao, I thought I had lost my memory or something. When everything started coming back to me I was mad since I missed the beginning of House. I still haven't watched it yet, I'll have to catch it at 11.

And it was awesome! I thought they were going to butcher it but they didn't!

The remake had a very similar feel of the original. They took many things from the original and updated them to make them relate more to young people of today. And they added some new things, too. I still prefer the 1980 version, but this one is definitely worthy of being called Fame.

My only criticism is the ending. Though, that's what a lot of people say about the original. In the 1980 version, it doesn't really end. All the little subplots don't get wrapped up in a neat little package. Things happen, graduation comes, and the movie is over. Just like real life In the remake, they had a little ending to every character. You knew what was going to happen to them and/or all their problems were resolved. Things don't happen like that in real life, so I would have preferred an ending like the original, as depressing as that may have been.

But other than that, I loved it. Fame! Go see it! I may be biased but go see it!

So I'm done showing for the year. Tommy did great on Sunday. It was his first show, at least since we've had him. Like I said in my last journal, I mostly took him because I wanted to dress him up as Tom Hanson from 21 Jump Street. I have a history of dressing up my horses as something really obscure that no one can understand. When we bought Tommy his name was Handsome and as a joke I sometimes call him Tom Handsome, which is where the idea for our costume came from.

Anyways, something amazing happened. The judge actually understood it! When the class was over we all stood in a line and the judge came around and asked what we were. I was at the very end and when she got to me I told her that he was Tom Hanson from 21 Jump Street. She paused for a minute and just stared at me, and then she started laughing and asked if I was a fan of the show. Lol, I can't believe she understood it.

After the costume class I took Tommy in the games for fun. He is not a gamer, I just trotted and cantered nice and slow through them but he did good. We actually got 3rd in flag, and 4th in keyhole, since there were a bunch of people who didn't get times in those.

And only THREE more days until Fame comes to theaters!

Sue is so awesome. I had her at my hometown's fall fair today and she did great! It was probably her last show. Like I said yesterday, especially now with her starting to develop arthritis, it's time for her to step down and Elliott to step up. Next year I'm going to focus on him and Savvy. But, I'm not sure how the youngsters will be with all the commotion of a fall fair, so I may take Sue or Penny to those and use Elliott and Savvy for the shows that don't have all those other scary things. (You know, like cows, sheep, balloons, motorcycles, etc )

Anyways, like I said, Sue is awesome. She wasn't quite as consistent as I would have liked in the English classes, her transitions weren't smooth and a few times she would throw her head up in a very Arabianish way. But she didn't do anything too terrible ad got 3rd in both classes so she must have felt worse then she looked. Since I'm not jumping Sue anymore I didn't go into that. I wish I could have, it was the first time they added jumping to this fair and it was an actual course, not just a small double line. But my friend won that so good for her.

Then the games. I always feel ridiculous competing in the games at this fair because I'm the only English rider in them. At the other shows I go to there's always a few other English gamers. But OMG Sue was amazing! I took it slow in the barrel race because I always screw up in that for some reason. We still got a 5th though! And we got 4th in the flag race. But what I'm most proud of is our pole bending. We actually got 2nd against all those hardcore cowboys! I can't believe it! We even beat the Gilberts. The Gilberts usually place in the very top. There's a whole bunch of them, but the oldest son and the grandpa were the only ones competing in my age group. They've been gaming their whole life. I only started really trying at them last year when I got Sue. (I used to trot through them on Penny, but nothing fast.) And I beat them! Haha, poor guys. Imagine a couple of cowboys getting beat by a rookie with a little Arabian, English saddle, and a High School Musical saddle pad. Speaking of which, the judge's assistant told me she liked my saddle pad.

So yeah, I'm psyched about that! I have one last show tomorrow. I'm pretty much just taking Tommy for the costume class. We're dressing up as undercover cop Tom Hanson from 21 Jump Street. Lol, don't ask. But I'll take him in the games for kicks, too.

*headdesk* I'm such an idiot. I should have see that something was up. This journal's a little late coming, things are all under control now, but I feel like such an idiot for not catching this sooner.

Like Ive said, Sue's jumping has been off. She's never been a great jumper, but she was jumping 2' fine enough last year, and this year she couldn't even do a half x. Then she fell on me. She's been stumbling a lot, too. It didn't even occur to me until the other day, but I must have told Sue to pick her feet up at least once a ride. No, I didn't put any of these things together until the other day when she fell while I was leading her forward a couple steps. That's when I realized something was up.

My mom and I started doing research on this right away. She wasn't lame, and whatever it was was something that was happening gradually. First we thought it was her vision, but my mom checked all that out and ruled it out pretty quickly. So then I started freaking out that it might be something neurological, since constant stumbling is a sign of that. I spent a day worrying about poor Sue before my mom found out what's wrong with her. Well, we're still not 100% sure, but it's very likely. Once we get the vet to check her over we'll know for sure. We think she's starting to show the early signs of Arthritis. It's not causing her pain yet because she's adjusting the way she moves slightly (like a person would if they had a stone in their show), but by doing that she has been struggling getting over jumps and has been stumbling more than usual. If that's all it is then we can maintain it. Plus, after the fall fairs I had been planning on focusing less on Sue and more on Elliott. I'm just relieved to finally know what's been going on with that girl.

Speaking of fall fairs, I was at one on Wednesday. Sue and I got a 5th in English pleasure, a 5th in English equitation, and a 4th in the flag race. I can't believe we placed in flag against all those "real" cowboys lol, there had to be like 20 in that class. Mind you, about 10 of them went so fast they didn't get the flag in. There's another fair tomorrow, and then on Sunday I'm taking Tommy to a show. That should be interesting!

And would it be a journal from me if I didn't pimp Glee?
"Who is Josh Groban?! Kill yourself! He is an angel sent from heaven to deliver unto us platinum records."

The second episode of Glee is even funnier than the first. Even my mom couldn't stop laughing the whole way through. Watch it watch it watch it!!!

Speaking of TV, my love for Kevin Williamson and Twilight have made me decide to give The Vampire Diaries a try. The show premieres tomorrow and I wanted to get a start on the book before that. I got it today and am only on chapter two. So far I like it, though it's a little slow to start. Since it was originally published in 1991, it kind of reminds me of the books I used to <strike>steal</strike> borrow from my sister's room when I was little. I don't know what it is that makes me think of that, the writing style maybe. Maybe it's all in my head, if I didn't know when it was published maybe I never would have thought of that.
So I had this brilliant idea today to help Sue and I with our jumping. I set up a small gymnastic line of 4 very small jumps. Half x's. Pathetic little half x's...

And it was working! We went over a couple times very nicely. I was so excited that I had found something that worked. After two times I decided to do just one more because I didn't want to push it.

We went to go over, and over the first pathetically small half x Sue tripped over the pole. It got caught in her legs or something and she fell, I fell, and Sue landed on top of me.

It was really scary for the first second, I had no idea what was happening. But it was over so quickly, Sue hopped right back up, she seemed fine. I couldn't move. I was worried that my leg was broken but my mom (a nurse) who was there said that I would be crying if it was. It really hurt but most the pain went away very quickly. After a minute I sat up and looked at my line.

Somehow we managed to knock down the first two jumps, even though we never even touched the second one. The jumps were so small! I started laughing so hard, it's just so funny! Sue fell jumping over a half x! I guess our yips were worse than I thought! Even more funny, my mom, who was riding Tommy at the time, missed what happened. After me taking riding lessons from the barn from hell, she's used to seeing me fall. She told me she turned around, saw me lying on the ground, and thought "Shoot, now I have to get off!"

Anyways, Sue is absolutely fine. I feel so terrible about it all, she's such a great horse so I'm sure I helped cause her fall somehow. Or at least, I didn't help it. I, however, am not perfectly fine. My right ankle is killing me! I think I sprained it when Sue landed on me. I can't move it, so I can't really walk. If I had any sense then this would bug me but the whole thing is just so funny! I sprained my ankle jumping a half x. I can't get over that!

He looked so pleased with himself afterwords too, like he wanted to make me laugh.

On another note, I have been waiting and waiting for the new Emerson Drive CD to come out. I had heard it was sometime late '09 but I didn't know the exact day. So I looked it up and found out the CD was released May 5th. So I went to HMV today and got it. While I was there I also got the 5th season of House. Lol, I wasn't sure whether to get the new House DVD or the new NCIS DVD so I grabbed the first one I saw. NCIS will be next... and I still need to get the 2nd season of Eli Stone. And Supernatural is released next week. Plus I've got the only season of Booker coming in the mail next week sometime, and the 2nd season of Fame comes out in a couple weeks, I've got that preordered. Yeah, this is a really expensive time of year to be a TV addict.

Plus, 5 more days until the director's cut of the Glee pilot airs. Watch it, you know you want to.

So things have been pretty interesting lately.

On Sunday I was at another small horse show. I just did the games and it was so freaking hot that day (well over 30C) so I didn't push Sue very hard. We did them at a nice easy canter but we still managed to place in everything. Mind you there were only 6 horses in my division this time. We got two 5ths, two 4ths, and a 3rd. Not bad for a couple of English girls.

Wednesday was my birthday. Twenty one, ouch! I feel so old. I stopped getting excited for my birthday around the time of my 17th or so. But, the day wasn't so bad. I didn't do much. I spent the afternoon visiting my grandparents' high speed lol. Since it was my birthday I got to pick what we ate that night. Of course I picked Tim Hortons. I had been craving their soup for awhile. Dessert was DQ blizzard cake, like I always demand on my birthday. That stuff is so good!

Anyways, my parents got me some pretty nice things. I got a t-shirt that says "I'm A Gleek" on it. Yay! I've been wanting a Glee shirt for awhile now. I also got Wii Sports Resort (The sword fighting is my favourite on there) and the first season of WKRP in Cincinnati. Finally! I have been teling my mom for about 2 years now that if she's ever stuck for gift ideas that she can't go wrong with old shows on DVD and she finally listened. I had never seen that show before (shocking, eh?) but it is hilarious! My grandparents got me money like always. I ordered an iPod with it, should be here early this week. My best friend got me season 3 of How I Met Your Mother. I love that show! And my sister and her boyfriend got me a card with scratch tickets in it. Haha, those things are addicting. I only won $3 though, which I'll probably just get another card with.

On Thursday I trailered Penny over to where my friend boards at and we went on a long hack to celebrate my birthday. We rode down to this other barn down the road from hers and chatted with our "friend" who boards there. Then we went down this really pretty private road, and back to where she boards. All in all a good ride. Penny and my friend's horse, Moon, are really good friends. They used to be out in the same field together back when we both boarded at a different barn. Moon is one of the few horses Penny will let near her.

And then today was my first day back to work after having over a week off. *headdesk* It actually wasn't s bad but I'd much rather have been able to sleep in and spend the whole day in the barn. All the old men asked where I had been and told me they missed having me around. Aww, those guys are all sweeties. But still, I hate Saturdays there. Ugh, the Jehovah's Witness pope are really starting to bug me! They come in every Saturday in large groups of 5 - 8 people and order drinks for everyone and then maybe an order or two of toast and that's it! The restaurant gets full of them and it's hard to keep up with it all. But they're so damn polite so you can't get mad at them! Grr. Sundays aren't much better, but at least I don't work alone on Sundays.

So yesterday was the American Idol concert and OMG it was amazing!

Our seats weren't quite as good as I thought they were, but they were still pretty good. We were high up, but we still had a good view. I was too high to get any good pictures though, but I did get tons of crappy ones.

Michael went first. He sang a couple songs. Michael was never my favourite but he did pretty good. He was followed by Megan. I always liked her. Scott was third. I liked him a lot more than I thought I would. He had a great stage presence and was very funny. He did an impression of Simon, and it was pretty spot on. After Scott was Anoop. He did pretty good, too, though nothing stand outish. Next was Lil. Ugh, I never really liked her on the show and my opinion of her hasn't really changed. She has a nice voice, but it seems to me that she's a little snobbish or something. I mean, during their sets everyone was thanking their fans, the band, their family, and talking about how they were happy to be there yaddy yaddy. What does Lil say? "When I told my production crew I wanted to do this next song they went out and got me the same choreographer as Beyonce!" And then she sang Single Ladies while flapping her arms like a bird. Anyways, Matt was 6th. He was great! After the first 6 performed they all (those 6) sang a group number and then there was a 20 minute intermission.

The second half of the concert was by far the best in my opinion. That's probably because the top 4 were always my favourites. First was Allison. She was great! She has a voice that's meant to be heard live. Then was Danny, who was also great. He sang a lot of Rascal Flatts songs, and gave a really moving speech about ambition and going for your dreams.

Then was Adam, who I was most looking forward to seeing. Adam was, without a doubt, amazing! I absolutely loved him! I can't wait until he goes on a solo tour because that guy knows how to perform. The highlight of my night was when Adam sang Starlight by Muse. I love that song! I spent almost the whole AI season telling my mom that Adam should sing that song and that I thought it was perfect for him. And he finally sang it and it was awesome! *Faints*

Anyways, after after Adam's set he and Allison did their Slow Ride duet and then it was Kris' turn. Now I love Kris, he was my second favourite (after Adam) during the show, and he did a great job last night. But because of Kris' style, I don't like how he had to follow Adam. I know they were counting down, from last place to first, but it was a little awkward going from rock and roll craziness with Adam to Kris, sitting at the piano and strumming away to a ballad on his guitar. He still did great though.

And lastly, they all sang Don't Stop Believing just like I had heard. Glee! To be honest, most of the idols' voices don't suit that song. Kris and Adam were the only ones who really sounded good there. The gleeks sing that song way better.

Anywho, I'm not going to post my craptacular pictures here on DA because they're so many of them, but I have uploaded them onto my Facebook page. For those who aren't on there, you should be able to see them with this link: [link] . Hopefully that works. I've got a few videos, too. I'm going to upload those onto Facebook as soon as I get access to high speed (either at my grandparents' place or my sister's).

I'm going to the American Idol concert tomorrow! It's gonna be great. I get to spend the whole car ride watching TV on my portable DVD player like a little kid. Not to mention the concert itself will be awesome. Plus, I think they're promoting Glee by singing Don't Stop Believing as they're closing song. The only bad thing is Adam Lambert isn't participating in the meet and greets afterward because he needs to rest his throat. Doctor's orders. We probably won't get close enough to them anyways, but you never know!

And um, after downloading Mmmbop I got a little curious and I've been downloading the rest of the Middle of Nowhere and some of the This Time Around Hanson albums. I remember most of it but there's a few song names that I haven't gotten around to downloading yet that don't sound familiar. I'll probably remember them when I hear them again though. I listened to them enough times when I was a kid. The ones I do remember are really coming back to me though! I hate to admit it, but I still like them.

And, one thing I never noticed as a kid, since I had such a huge crush on Zac, Isaac probably had the nicest voice of them all. Maybe I just think that because he was the only one who had gone through puberty and thus is the only one who sounds like a guy, but I really like his voice.

Lmao! I found out today that Daisy's full name is Daisy May. Brian's three year old daughter named her. Anyways, she's been doing pretty good. However, she's not really fond of the horses. She mostly keeps to herself. They aren't picking on her like Brian's horses were, and she's not picking on them, she just seems happier by herself (or with me). She loves me! Whenever I'm out in the field Daisy follows me around like a lost puppy. If I'm doing chores and she gets lonely then Daisy will go up to the gate and scream until I come get her, and then she follows me around the barn and helps with my chores. She's only been out with the whole herd for a couple days now, so there's still time for her to bond with someone else.

Daisy is home. We went to pick her up first thing this morning. One the way we passed a couple cars being towed away on a hay wagon. You know you're a redneck when.

Anyways, we were lucky to escape Brian's farm with just Daisy. That guy is always offering us horses, usually ones we can't afford since he breeds and trains top quality Welsh Ponies, Standardbreds, and various Warmbloods. And they usually have something that he considers wrong with them, meaning a tiny conformation fault that you have to squint to see and isn't a big deal to people like me. Lol, one time he offered me a horse because it was a chestnut, which is his least favourite colour. This is also the same guy who helped us find Savvy. Anyways, Brian did offer us his llamas, but luckily neither my mom or I want a llama (Penny hates them) so it was easy to say no. He also had a gorgeous Welsh there that he would have sold me if I got there sooner, but he had decided this year to make her a broodmare.

There was the most gorgeous cremello colt there! He was so fracking adorable! Brian bought his mom from a place in Wales and she wasn't supposed to be pregnant. But, three weeks later she gave birth to this boy. He has the brightest blue eyes, and he's so friendly!

Back to Daisy, have you ever tried loading a donkey on a trailer? Totally not easy! By the end of things I was in the trailer leading her up, and my mom, Brian, and two construction guys who were there doing work lifted Daisy in. I hate forcing horses (and donkeys lol) into the trailer against their will, but I'm going to have to do more research on donkey behavior before I know exactly how to approach teaching Daisy better loading.

I started a new manip today, and totally scraped the one I was attempting before. I'm having a slightly easier time with my tablet now. I'm zooming in a lot more than normal, and the quality of stock I'm using this time is a lot better. I still plan on buying a bigger one, but now I'm thinking I can live with this one for a little while longer.

And then they showed clips and talked about it for like 10 minutes (or so it seemed, it probably wasn't that long lol). And then Debbie Allen got her famous line wrong. "You got big dreams? You want Fame? Well Fame costs and right here is where you start paying. In sweat!" I don't remember exactly what she said now, but she messed up the beginning.

And the Gleeks were in the audience!
I am getting pretty pissed off with either myself right now. I cannot seem to manip anything right now, ever since I switched computers. I'm not sure what it is, but I'm guessing either the new position of my tablet on my desk or the screen size. I'm leaning towards the size because I tried putting my tablet back where it was with my laptop and I was still struggling

My Dell had a 15.5" screen, and my Mac has a 20" screen. My tablet is the smallest Graphire you can get (4x5?). Would the screen size make a noticeable difference in how the tablet works? I'm assuming since the screen is bigger, that's a lot more space to cram into the tablet's space, right? Anywho, if that's what it is I'm thinking either I'll get used to it or I'll break down and buy a bigger tablet (which I was considering doing before I got my Mac anyways). Just don't expect a lot of manips from me right now, and if the ones I upload are totally crappy, I'm sorry.

My iMac arrived a couple days ago! I've been spending a lot of my time transferring my music and stuff over to it. Today I got a modem so this is the first time I've been able to get online with this computer.

It's taking some getting used to, though a lot of things are the same as I remember from my first Mac. The keyboard is different. I like it, but I'm still adjusting to it. The mouse is different too but I'm used to it since my grandparents have the same one with their Mac. The rest of the differences between this Mac and my first one are nice updates. I love the keyboard controls for iTunes, dashboard, and expose. iTunes is also better, and the whole thing just looks so smexy! I am officially in love. I still have some more music to transfer, and I still need to install my tablet driver, Photoshop, and a few other things, but I've got enough here that I am using my Mac 100% now. I'm keeping my Dell though, you never know when you'll need a laptop or a PC for something.

And on a side note, I just watched an episode of MacGyver where he rescued a stolen horse. He was galloping along and the helicopter came for him. They sent a hook down, he hooked it onto his saddle, and the helicopter pulled them up and MacGyver and the horse flew away. Two questions. Where can I get a helicopter and do you think Penny would let me try that?

I've started watching Freaks and Geeks. That show is fracking awesome! It's 10 years old but all of a sudden I started hearing all these great things about it. The cast is what sold me though. It stars Linda Cardellini, Seth Rogen, James Franco, Jason Segel, Busy Phillips, and the one that sold me the most, a 14 year old John Francis Daley (Dr. Sweets on Bones!). OMG He was so adorable! Google him (I'm talking to you, ~Sabriel-TS ), he looked exactly the same as he does now, but shorter and gawkier.

Anyways, it's a great show and I'm glad I bought it. However, it's one season. 18 episodes. The DVD set is huge! It's the widest box set I own, and I own a lot of box sets. That's one major pet peeve of mine, I like slimmer DVDs. I have limited shelf space and a growing collection, the slimmer the better. Freaks and Geeks has 3 episodes per disc. I know from past experience that these things can easily hold 4 episodes without obvious compression faults (House even puts 5 episodes per disc now, but that might be pushing it). They totally could have made this set on at most 5 discs. Even so, Gilmore Girls has 6 dics, and a box design very similar to F&G, and it's not as wide as this one!

Not only that, but House season 4 pisses me off. That's the strike shortened season, it's the shortest season House has and is the widest box set. Taxi, seasons 2, 3, and 4 are insanely wide, too, and that's a half hour show!

September 25th. It was probably a one time only special preview kind of thing. I was watching So You Think You Can Dance, and Debbie Allen was a judge tonight. Debbie Allen is Fame. So I'm guessing that's why they showed the preview. Still... FAME!

And then I saw a Glee commercial. I so can't wait for that show! It's totally going to be the new Fame.
Warning: Completely random, TV related rant ahead. Read at your own risk.

It's official. Eli Stone is over. It's technically been canceled for awhile now, but they were going to finish out the season. Then it went on hiatus for awhile until a few weeks ago. Tonight the final episode aired.

OMG it was terrible! Well, episode wise it wasn't terrible. There's no such thing as a terrible Eli Stone episode. That show <strike>is</strike> was amazing! But as far as finales go, that was awful!

First of all, it was supposed to wrap everything up nicely. At least, that's what The TV Addict, Ausiello, and TV Guide all said. Secondly, Gregory Smith (from Everwood) was supposed to be on it.

1) Nothing was wrapped up. Not in my mind at least. We were left with so many questions and only vague, possible answers. The one pissing me off the most is the whole Maggie/Grace thing. Is Eli going to wind up with one of them? Which one!? At one point they said Grace was his soul mate, but the next second they're talking about how he loves Maggie. And the whole Maggie saving the day with the plane crash thing seemed like a cope out. I would be less pissed if the plane crashed with Maggie and Paul on it, and Eli dying trying to save them. At least then things would have been wrapped up! And what about Taylor and Matt's wedding and baby? And Jordon's opinion on Eli's visions? Jordon practically disappeared from that episode after his confrontation with Eli.

2) Gregory Smith was in it for about 5 seconds, and he was very greasy looking.

3) Why the hell does it have to end!? Dammit, why does TV have to be a business? The best shows end up suffering since it all comes down to which ones bring in more money.

Okay, I'm done. I feel better now.

Go to their page and send a message saying you tagged them

{5}. No tag-backs

1. I love KD crackers, but I hate KD.
2. I'm already a Gleek.
3. Right now I'm in love with Cory Monteith and Tony Danza. Next time I get tagged with this one, I I bet I'll have a new celebrity love of my life.
4. I can't wear those earbud headphones. They fall out of my ear, especially the left one.
5. I chew my fingernails.
6. One of these days I'm going to randomly break out in song and dance just like they do in musicals.
7. I have a weakness for Tim Hortons' Iced Capps.
8. I prefer Coke over Pepsi.

And I'm too lazy to tag people, but if you want to do this, feel free.

Mmkay, so I asked my friend if she could ask her dad about the new iMacs and dial up. Her dad is a bit of a Mac nerd, and usually knows what he's talking about. He said I'm going to have to buy a USB modem if I want to get online. I don't mind having to do that, I just have to find out where I can get one. Apple supposedly makes one, but I can't find it anywhere on their site.

Mmmkay so I'm probably going to buy myself an iMac. I'm not sure if I'm going to buy one right away, but I've wanted one for awhile and I have the money now. I grew up on Macs, but I outgrew the family computer before my parents were ready to upgrade. So, when I bought my laptop all I could afford was a Dell which is how I wound up with XP. I don't hate it, but I miss Macs.

Anyways, I just have one question that I'm hoping someone could help me with. I'm stuck here in the boonies and all we have is dial-up. Do the new iMacs have a built in modem? It doesn't look like they do, I think they just have an Ethernet port. How would I get internet on it out here then? Oh man, I feel like a complete idiot. I have a feeling this is a fairly basic question. *headdesk*
