pretty soon i'm going to be recording me playing the drums...just to have as a recording, but i would like some input and help picking songs.

if any of you guys want to list some songs that have good drumming in them, or that you just like...then please share! and if i post any of the finished product on here for you to listen to i will make sure to put that you suggested it.

i only have a couple of songs in mind right now...and i want some time to prepare....so ...help? D8
if i don't have/can't find the song (which i can usually always get them, so there shouldn't be a problem) then i may ask you to send me the file, but i'm confident that i can get them

as you have probably noticed...i have been.......................................not here.

i switched history classes from AP US history to regular us history, which is MUCH easier, and i am so glad that i switched. school is still really hard, and my camera is still having problems. i am almost done making the clay model of the skull at school, and i have quite a few commissions to do after that >.o
*sigh*

i'm also making little hats which i may or may not advertise for selling some....but that will all depend on my stupid camera's attitude.

i love that shoot with the tarantula. that made me love him more than anything. i want one so bad.

we have a 5 day weekend, and i forgot to bring the skull home to work on, so it will probably be cracked in half by the next time that i see it because i didn't cover it up or anything.

i'm starting to rethink my picture for the gazette calendar though....it's not pleasing me TT.TT

but i'll at least finish it

me and mom were walking in a wal-mart the other day and a lady working in the dressing room section was like "oooo well you look cute."

i'm not really looking forward to thanksgiving this year...i don't know why. i'm not really looking forward to the food, or anything. i guess being with family will be nice...or something....but i don't know.

it's really cold here now which makes the jessi happy. it's way more fun to wear lots of layers of cute stuff than to be sweating your brains out, cause you can always bundle up, but unless you are really really shameless, you can't strip everything off to cool down.

not without getting arrested anyways.

i'm getting my hair cut soon....need ideas.....

i am busy during art class in school right now making a skull out of clay. i'm trying to make it as realistic as possible, and i might not get pictures up until much later because i have to actually finish it first, and then i have to take pictures, which my digital camera has decided that it wants to die.

which it has. it just decided not to work the other day. so i have shoved it in the underwear drawer for all eternity. PUNISH'd


so that's what i'm doing. i'll try to find some way to get pictures up...i'm kind of in a shlump right now, and i'm hoping that will pass soon. tomorrow is the last day of school for this week because of the holidays and that will be nice to take a break.

the other day, my godfather/really good family friend came to visit and before, he had a blue heeler. it was a really good dog, and then it ran into the road and got hit and killed by a car. and the car didn't even stop.
this happened over the summer, so it's no new news, anyway, he bought another dog that is a heeler mix. this one is a girl, and he named it "tater".
he brought her with him (because he travels a lot) when he came to see us and let her run around. she is a really sweet dog, and just over the few minutes that we were with her, i kind of got attatched. she wasn't much taller than our jack-russels, so she was a really small puppy, but so cute ^-^
he usually kids around a lot, and he started saying that he would give her to us, which we just kind of blew off, but long story short, he really doesn't want the dog. not that he is being mean or anything, but she is just too girly for him, and not aggressive enough. if he gets another dog, it will be a boy.
anyway, he told my dad that if i wanted it that i just had to ask him for it, so after a lot of guilt, i called him up and told him that i wanted the dog, because my dad said that he really didn't care and he knew that i would take care of it.
so he is bringing her after i get home from school tomorrow. ^.^ i am so excited. i've never had my own dog before~
also, yesterday she got bitten on the back and shook around by a german shepard that lives near where they are staying. damn dogs, i will kill them. but my godfather said that she is okay, and my dad said that she played with a tennis ball today...so...hopefully she will get better soon.

but here is the main problem. i can't figure out what to name her.
i wanted it to be something short and cute.
i came up with some names, so if you guys could help me out by chosing or suggesting one, that would be nice !~

she looks like a dingo mixed with a fawn, because she has little white spots on her back. i will take pictures and scrap them when she comes, light brown in color with ears that stand up and a short tail. such a sweet puppy~

i'm calling her Shika, unless i hear a completely awesome name that really fits her, but she seems to already be responding to "shika". she's only four months old, so training her will be pretty easy.

the art fair went quite well this year.
last year they didn't even bother to judge the pencil medium at all, so no one won anything.

but i took pictures.
and my mom was writing everything down like..

this is how it went
i entered 14 things, 2 acrylic paintings, 2 pen and inks, 4 black and white pencil, and 5 colored pencil, and 1 pastel. because my mom loves that one.

and we are thinking..."where does he poop?"
so i am going to have to come up with a good one for that one.
and also i am going to have to figure out how to kill this gnat that somehow miraculously survived being sucked into my throat and then coughed out, and then smooshed twice.
it flew away.
i seem to be incapable of killing small flying things.

it was amazing. there was a straight 5 minute scene of him just breaking guys' arms and legs. and wrists. and faces. and then he....well...just go see it.
there were a total of about 8 people in the theatre at the 6:15 P.M. showing on opening day, and my friend and i weren't the only ones jumping up and down and going "UGGHH" whenever the delightful sound of crunching bones rang in our ears. and we were the only girls.
the guys behind us seemed to think it was funny when i commanded Tony Jaa to "kick him in the nads" as a giant wrestler man slung Mr. Jaa's baby elephant across a room.
and the chick in the movie looked like a transvestite kind of. but.....yeah.
so that is my rant.
also, if you like horror movies, i strongly recommend that you watch "A Tale of Two Sisters". it was so cracked up and i still don't know what the heck went on, but it was possibly the scariest, most beautiful, and most awesome movie that i have ever seen. the actors were so well picked. they were all amazing.

and as vic says...."Tony Jaa's milkshake brings all the boys to the yard. and we are like.. GAHHHHHH"

i am currently about 1-2 hours away from being done with my giftart thing for ~CCGoddess
SOOPRISE FOR JOO.

well...she's on vacation anyways....so. like....yeah.

after i finish her giftart i will be doing a picture of Kozi for ~bloodred-kozi i'm excited about that one....i believe someone has some pictures that they are going to let me use as refs.....so yeah. they are gorgeous pictures.

after i do THAT i am going to do a picture of Tenten from KURT. because he is cute. and vic suggested it. it's got a lot of detail in it, like....glasses and grafitti and what not so i am expecting that one to be the picture that i will work on for the most time ever. if that makes any sense. in short, it's going to take a very long while.

i have several packages that i need to send at some point in time....i have to wait until people get back from vacation, get moved and settled, and also, i have to wait until i get money to send the packages with >.> that's always nice.

OMG. OMG. okay. this does not really mean anything to you guys, but my mom decided to surprise me and order a double kick pedal for my behind my back. which excites me very thoroughly. OwO omg. i cannot wait until it comes in. it's supposed to come in on monday or tuesday of this week....i'm really glad that these things were on sale. they are usually like $200 or more....but they were on sale for $99. so yay. mom i loveyou.

school starts back next week i think. that sucks. so i will be really busy at the beginning of school getting settled down with school and stuff, so i might not have a whole lot of work, and i'm taking AP art this year, so my art teacher is going to have me doing a lot of still lifes and boring junk that i hate and art colleges want for god knows what reason. i mean, if you want to do art, and people are already commissioning you to do it, and they are pleased with what they get then why the heck to you have to get a stupid degree to do what you're already doing?!?!? wtf. this is stupid. i just want to do something that will rake in enough money to allow me to travel. travel A LOT. >.<

i warned you........
it's very painful to swallow...they took a strep test and it came back negative, which may be because i'm on another antibiotic, but they are giving me an antibiotic for strep throat just in case it is, and they say it may help anyways. i'm just hoping that it's nothing serious. i kind of like my tonsils

then we asked her about something else that i had a few symptoms of, so we're going to get that checked out SOME time....which i'm not looking forward too....cause.....yeah. i'll leave that part out.

and the whole shaky hands thing that has been going on for a while, the doctor said that she thinks it's just a tremor of some sort. which means i just shake for some reason. it doesn't REALLY effect my drawing, but sometimes when i try to hold a pencil or pen my hand starts to shake more violently. but whatever. it's all good.
not really. XDD

i will upload some stuff soon. like...a b'day present or two or three. XD

when i went to Dallas, i was fully aware that ~ichigosweet was less that an hour away. *didn't really think that anything would happen*

so....on the 1st of July, my sister to me to an IKEA which is like....this GIGANTIC warehouse/mall thing with lots of furniture and home decor and whatnot. it was so awesome.
so we're on the top floor, right? and as we start to go through like...chairs and bathrooms and stuff, i see.

cause i shake anyways for some odd reason. it's like...Parkinson's or something. o,o

i've been having headaches a lot lately too.....and my neck and back have been hurting more than usual. when i woke up this morning my throat hurt really bad too, and now one of the glands in my neck is swollen which my mom thinks is because of a possible ear infection which I thought was my ear just not popping from the plane home.

which sucked. there were like....16 million babies crying and i think it was because their ears popped too. but wow. they cry loud. i don't like babeez. >.>

i did however get to record some of me drumming. when i heard it....it kind of really sucked...partly cause i wasn't used to the drums, and my selection was not as wide as it usually is XDD but at least i got to record some. maybe i'll upload something....maybe not.

but yeah.

perhaps i'll get to record something on my own kit someday. my sister's boyfriend had the recording equipment, so he was nice enough to set everything up for me.

just in case you're wondering...i didn't get ANY drawing done over that little vacation of mine. because i'm lazy. and i just sat on the couch and played video games and threw her kitten around. cause it bit my ankles and was chewing on the controller chord. which bugged me obviously.....

i'll probably be spending my entire plane time watching moon child....cause i can do that. and i want to see the horribly bad CG karp/koi fish thing again. which was the obvious highlight of the movie.

and i'm also desperately trying to understand the anime series RahXephon....which is starting to get pretty awesome.
i also bought a dvd of an anime called Gilgamesh....which i stupidly bought episodes 23-25. not 1-whatever. i've done that before with manga, because i fail to look for the information like that.....maybe it's just poorly placed in a small ugly font that i don't read or something....but i need to pay more attention to what i buy and junk....

i don't think that i have ever seen a suitcase as big as one that i am taking...

it was okay.
i got burned on the first day so it kind of looks like i have skin cancer on my nose. but it's just kind of blistered. i'll get over it soon enough.
i'm done with =kaitouace's pic...i'll upload it soon or something. cause i don't think that i have ever uploaded something on someon's actual b'day. it's just no fun.

and i have absolutely no delayed gratification.

i "adopted" a child in Kenya...i'll post the picture of her later.
my family and i are goig to sponsor her with $32 a month which will give her money for food, water, clothing, education, school uniforms, and medication etc.

i am leaving again to see my sister on the 27th. and i'll be back that next sunday or something.

i lost 7 pounds while we were gone. cause the food was mediocre and kind of very greasy. so i decided to live off of apples instead. which obviously are good for you AND help you lose weightage.

i will be buying apples tomorrow....

i will also probably be watching the Rocky Horror Picture Show tomorrow. maybe

i'm going to camp at the freaking beach for like...5 days.
this angers jessi. i hate the beach. it is too hot. so i will probably lock myself in the hotel. (the camp in on the beach)

our field trip to see the bodies exhibit got canceled....which made me sad.

i also just found out that i am going miss Moi dix Mois in Dallas by about 3 days....i probably wouldn't have been able to go anyways...partly because i would be trampled and partly because my sister doesn't want to have to take me to "silly concerts that she hates". plus his drummers are always crazy. and i would want to watch them.

EDIT: i KNOW i would be trampled.

but i am going to see my sister, also in hopes of finding mana and exposing him for what he truly is:
a robot.

there's no way he's real. he HAS to be a robot.

so. this will be called:
"OPERATION EXPOSE MANA FOR WHAT HE TRULY IS:A ROBOT."

yes. this title sounds nice.

anyways....i'm working on the pic of Ryutaro now....getting slightly frustrated with the bad print out...so i'll go do another one....later.

this saddens jessi.

but at least school will be over and i can get my lazy butt to work on commissions and presents and what-not.

i'm almost done with =Simply-Tragic's picture...i actually might go against my previous promise to wait, and just go ahead and load it when i'm done. i just cease to care anymore. X3

after that i plan to work on a surprise for a DA friend. she has no clue. this delights jessi.

i might not be on at all for the rest of the week. with exams coming up, i will certainly be studying my brains out.

i believe i will get to go to my sister's on the scheduled time...this also excites me. because i have no desire to go washington, just to see my work. i would like to go to some of the mueseums though. I just don't think it's worth rescheduling a trip to my sister's though

Monday marks the day of my own weight-loss program.
this means that i will eat nothing but like....health (which is a lie) and DDR myself to death.

i have seen a good bit of pretty scans lately...which is only adding to my to do list because of their prettiness. i want to do another bou, a kiyoharu, a kyo, a Hyde, and redo an old Gackt that i did a long time ago, just to see how i've improved...

apparently my mother "checked my pants pocket" when she was doing the laundry, but my USB decided that it wanted to stay and get washed.




which it did. yet refused to die. i held it in position to plug into the port with a rather shaky hand, hoping that i didn't come out of this with 1,000,000 volts running through my body, if i came out of it at all
then i just plugged it in.

i've been bad about loading things before birthdays..




I will be very / extremely busy this summer.:::
1. I have to go to camp with out church youth group to the beach...i'm not extreme fond of the beach, but the girls that i am going with are nice.

2. My mom wants us to go to the Capitol in Washington D.C. for the opening ceremony for my picture or whatever...which i really don't want to do because it would conflict with me...

3. Going to Texas to see my sister and stay with her for about 5 days....( ~Aingilinis ) it's going to be so much fun.

4. I should be painting that mural for the guy that owns the t-shirt shop....which will be fun....and time consuming

5. My mom made me take my artwork (like ALL OF IT) to the bank that my grandmother works at the other day so that all of the people that could work there could see my crap. they enjoyed it....and didn't really freak out when my mom told them that they were all boys XDD but that reeled in a few commissions for the summer...of children.....i don't much like children....

6. I also have to finish drawing all of you guys' birthday presents!!! especially in JUNE. GOOD LORD. STOP BEING BORN IN JUNE. I KNOW LIKE 50,345,375,246 PEOPLE THAT WERE BORN IN JUNE!!! XDDD

that's all...but not a whole lot of time to do it all. only 3 months for vacation in think....

anyways...continuing

when we got there, we saw most of the works in the hallways that were submitted. which were mostly from our school....which is tiny, but anyways....there were lots.

then we sat in a lobby/waiting room/hole in the corner for the congressman to get there. It took about 10 minutes total wait.....and we smelled food.

Then someone came to get us and we all went into a press room, where our congressman was. he was nice. also, we noticed the my picture of a still life watercolor (which i hated the most out of all of the pictures that we send in) was one of the three that was up on an easel in the front of the room behind the congressman. but the girl that i was with and i were sitting on the front row like this:

yeah....that room was tiny. and all of the newscasters were trying their BEST to get all of the gear into the room. It was like offering me some broccolli when i'm holding a bag of sweet 16 donuts. It just ain't gonna happen.

Anyways....they started calling out the prizes and the first one they called out was my friend. she got honorable mention, which is still amazing out of all of those pictures...but i think that she deserved first. i have some pictures that i will put into the scraps.....

but they kept calling out names until only the second and firsts places were left. At this time i am about to pee myself....again...because one of them was me.
"Second Place.....goes to a somethingsomethingthatwasn'tmygradelevel someperson'sname" *clapping*
this is about the time that my heart started to POUND. i felt like it was trying to karate chop it's way out of my chest. Still, i kept calm eye-contact with the congressman, just in case i was lucky.

close, but no cigar....


i won. i won the first place out of our state's district, only later to find out that it was the last of the judging. It is going to U.S. Capitol in Washington to hang for a year. I also got a $3,000 art scholarship to SCAD (savannah college of art and design) which sucks, because with scholarships, you can't transfer money or take the cash or anything. I can't go to SCAD because it's too liberal, and the city that it is in isn't very safe and my mother would worry her tiny little head off.

anyways.....so after the conference thing, all of the news people were like.as;lj;dasj;lsjg;sg OMG LET"S INTERVIEW NOW:LKJDG:LSJG:LKj

the first chick was kind of cocky and i didn't like her too well...and after the thing was over she was like.."JESSI. CAN I GRAB YOU OVER HERE FOR AN INTERVIEW"
and i just told her.
"uhhhhhhhhh.........no."

poor thing thought that i was kidding....but then my mom made me. there was one other TV interviewer that ended up being the guy that interviewed me on TV, (which also my mother forced me to record) he was very nice. his name was brent. anyway. It was all very embarrassing for me.

Then my art teacher took the liberty of taking photos and then the next day giving them to the local paper, who NOW wants to interview me on monday for an article which i pray to God will not go on the frint page or anything, because they usually want to take pictures. and jessi doesn't like pictures too well.

but i really am not looking forward to that. i got a cool plaque too. it's all pretty brownish cherry wood. which just screams officialdom. the paper fell onto the floor out of it right away. XD

i'm sorry this is so long, but a lot went on. I just want to get through all of this and get back to drawing some b'day gifts for my DA people.

I have to go clean my room now to prepare to entertain people coming to our house tonight. I'm not too fond of that...but these people are cool. And it's the guy that taught me how to tie my shoes. so there is a massive amount of respect there.

and see how we placed and i think that they will go onto the final, or the next judging. will keep you updated, but i really hope that she wins. i didn't want to submit anything and her picture would fit the whole situation better, and it is just one of my favorite pictures ever. i'll see if i can't take some pictures when we go. she's really nice too

but i'll keep you all updated on that. my mom and i had a bet on my self-portrait (which i hate) that it wouldn't make it through the first round of judging. (which hopefully IT didn't). i was betting that it wouldn't, and she was betting that it would.
$30. i hope that IT didn't make it into this judging, because then i will be $140 in her debt. o,o

do pictures to submit for right now...sorry about that. exams coming up soon and spanish projects and crap. now i have a history paper to write, so i'll be doing that momentarily, and THEN. when summer comes, be prepared for a lot of submissions. at least I hope so, i'll have more time, and a LOT of june birthdays to keep me busy (you know who you are )

i will also be working on a mural in a T-shirt printing shop of my friends, so i'll keep you all updated with pictures of that in my scraps, and also asking for suggestions....but the main thing that he wanted was "the last supper" but with the people all dressed up as superheros
which will be like.....crap when i get done with it. i hope that he isn't expecting something really realistic and detailed.

1. I feel unproductive if i don't do anything involving art in a day. then i really feel weird when i go to bed, cause i'm like...."wait. ... i didn't even do anything."

2. It is physically impossible for me to leave my house without my hair or makeup done.

3. I have a special picture planned for 10K pageviews....i hope that i can get it done.

4. I have a lot of birthday giftarts to have done in June, so i hope that i can get all of those done too....

5. I like my cats more than my dogs, even though i love my dogs to death. I guess i like the cats more because they won't pee on me.....that i know of....

6. When i get out of high school, the first thing that i plan to do is get my eyebrow pierced. and then wait a few years, and possibly get my lip pierced. but whether or not it will be a loop on the side, or a stud in the middle, i don't know. but i think that it would be fun to play with. it will keep me drom playing with my hair all of the time. unless i just do both.

she wants to get a bunch of people together to do a hyde series of the same picture, all in different mediums and styles. she said that she had seen a colored pencil, pencil, etc, and she's currently working on a watercolor of it....and now she is trying to recruit people to do a series! so note her if you're interested....
i think that i am planning on doing a plain black and white, (not grayscale) with some added colors. i like doing those :herat:
