Anyways, I'm really gonna miss being here almost everynight checking up on art work and fangirl ranting about 002 and other bishonen. ( Yeah, that's right 002 is a bishonen ^_~)

On top of moving there's Otakon and cosplay prep. Unfortunatly, there hasn't been much time to do any big costumes for this year, so I've put together some smaller outfits. There's a fighting game type ninja , and a cute maid waitress outfit. I've also decided to bring out the Lady Une costume again , I really miss cosplaying as her.

In other news this crazy week, my poor cat got beat up in a cat fight and we had to rush him to the 24hr vets at 1 am @_@ His cheek was swollen from a bit. It was amazing how well behaved he was wile the vet looked at his wonds. A few pills and a shot later he's on his way to healing.


I feel exsulsted +_+

Work is ...well work.

I get my new glasses tomorrow! Wai! I can see again ^^@

I'm working on a new painting, but I'm still in the drawing stages. I like how some of the people look but others kinda bug me in how they look. Gai and Lee- kun are both awesome in sentai-ness, but they are both a pain in the ass to draw.
I started on a new Cyborg 009 Jet and Albert painting, but I gotta start it over because most of it didn't turn out to any liking. >_<

Back on the Fan Fiction racket?
I've got a few in mind.
There's a Naruto /Sakura one I'm working on ^.^ I wish I could finish my Kaka/ Sakura, Naruto/ Hinata one but the other fan fic net has been down forever. It's almost hard to rember what I wrote last.

1) I'm a huge HUGE yaoi fan and doujinshi collector. (hard core, mad love bishonen*_*)

4) I'm very otaku anime fan liking stuff from the old skool and new. However, the series I more so perfer aren't noramly known as fangirl prime series. (Cyborg 009 , GaoGaigar)

5) Thinks it's really funny to watch clueless people galk at cosplayers walking from anime conventions wondering WTF is going on. Like there's somekind of freak invasion going on.

North VA. /Washington / College Park MD. It's been a year almost since we got to do this. I was happy to go back.
It's pretty much an all day long anime shopping day. mush like a mini con. However, getting off work at 3am and waking up at 9 am to do this I must have been crazy, but it's all worth it. It's even better to spend this wonderful time with the guy I love *_* Who loves anime as much as I do
the first stop was Anime Pavillion, In witch I stocked up on anime osts and a sweet Kakashi pencil board were he's laying next to a bed just chilling in the o so bisho way *_*
Next stop was the lotte' market for lunch. We were both sad that the lil Japanese ramen hut moved out We still got ramen and potstickers at the other place in the food court though and sushi too ^_^!

Then it was off to Starland for more anime stuff and Rey got a Super Robot Wars game.
The mall out that way has even more anime stores! Four in one place! Plus, many arcades.

It was getting twards 7pm so we decided to head back. We stopped at College park for a nice dinner. Sadly, we didn't stop at the Two College Park anime shops, but we were both very worn out.

I can't wait to go mass anime shopping again sometime soon. ^.^

As far as art is going on the D/A board, In the times I'm not working I've been trying to draw as much as I can. Sometimes I just get too tired and fall asleep I guess not posting as much has lead to a drop in comments or intrests in the few pictures I did post. I'm really sorry guys.

This game absolutly rocks! I've been playing it ever free chance I can get. So far I'm up to the snow level and the snowboarding part sucks cause I keep snowboarding off the damm cliff >_<

In other news, all is going ok Ex. work witch has been very stressful and crappy.

We had met during the big snowstorm duing Katsucon 2003. Can you picture an entire anime con getting snowed in for a whole week O_O Crazy times! Anyways, he works for Katsucon as the AV guy. It turned out they called him in for the lights and sound.
Great improvements with the rave, concert and cosplay sound and showing.
*thinks* Other than that. This con had lot of pannels some consisted of old school fans. However, this con had 2 yaoi pannels! The first one was great and run by the same person who runs it every year. The second was canceled T_T leaving alot of really pissed off fan girls ..and a few fan boys. Damm, I thought someone was gonna pitch a chair into the next room.
It was sad to say good bye to everyone on sunday, but we will meet again soon.

Vacation is Over... an open letter from Michael Moore to George W. Bush

Dear Mr. Bush:

Any idea where all our helicopters are? It's Day 5 of Hurricane Katrina and thousands remain stranded in New Orleans and need to be airlifted. Where on earth could you have misplaced all our military choppers? Do you need help finding them? I once lost my car in a Sears parking lot. Man, was that a drag.

Also, any idea where all our national guard soldiers are? We could really use them right now for the type of thing they signed up to do like helping with national disasters. How come they weren't there to begin with?

Last Thursday I was in south Florida and sat outside while the eye of Hurricane Katrina passed over my head. It was only a Category 1 then but it was pretty nasty. Eleven people died and, as of today, there were still homes without power. That night the weatherman said this storm was on its way to New Orleans. That was Thursday! Did anybody tell you? I know you didn't want to interrupt your vacation and I know how you don't like to get bad news. Plus, you had fundraisers to go to and mothers of dead soldiers to ignore and smear. You sure showed her!

I especially like how, the day after the hurricane, instead of flying to Louisiana, you flew to San Diego to party with your business peeps. Don't let people criticize you for this -- after all, the hurricane was over and what the heck could you do, put your finger in the dike?

And don't listen to those who, in the coming days, will reveal how you specifically reduced the Army Corps of Engineers' budget for New Orleans this summer for the third year in a row. You just tell them that even if you hadn't cut the money to fix those levees, there weren't going to be any Army engineers to fix them anyway because you had a much more important construction job for them -- BUILDING DEMOCRACY IN IRAQ!

On Day 3, when you finally left your vacation home, I have to say I was moved by how you had your Air Force One pilot descend from the clouds as you flew over New Orleans so you could catch a quick look of the disaster. Hey, I know you couldn't stop and grab a bullhorn and stand on some rubble and act like a commander in chief. Been there done that.

There will be those who will try to politicize this tragedy and try to use it against you. Just have your people keep pointing that out. Respond to nothing. Even those pesky scientists who predicted this would happen because the water in the Gulf of Mexico is getting hotter and hotter making a storm like this inevitable. Ignore them and all their global warming Chicken Littles. There is nothing unusual about a hurricane that was so wide it would be like having one F-4 tornado that stretched from New York to Cleveland.

No, Mr. Bush, you just stay the course. It's not your fault that 30 percent of New Orleans lives in poverty or that tens of thousands had no transportation to get out of town. C'mon, they're black! I mean, it's not like this happened to Kennebunkport. Can you imagine leaving white people on their roofs for five days? Don't make me laugh! Race has nothing -- NOTHING -- to do with this!

You hang in there, Mr. Bush. Just try to find a few of our Army helicopters and send them there. Pretend the people of New Orleans and the Gulf Coast are near Tikrit.

Once my friends called saying they had arrived in Baltimore from North Carolina, Rey and I were off for what we knew would already be a crazy weekend. We made it down to the city in a flash beating rush hour traffic and arriving around 2 in the afternoon. The pre reg line for the con was already wrapping around the convention center and the doors wouldn't open till 5 pm.
After many hugs and hellos we settled into the hotel and all of us were about to walk down to wait in the prereg line when we got a phone call from our friends coming down from Canada they managed to make it down to north PA when the engine fell out of their van. Wondering what to do but not wanting to leave our friends stranded with tons and tons of cos play stuff in the middle of no place Tiff and Steph decided to make the long 4 hour trek to go rescue our stranded roommates.
Still worried but not being able to do anything because there was no room in the car for us Rey and I decided to go wait in the pre reg line.
Mobs and Mobs of people, by the time 2 hours later passed the line of people waiting now reached past the Camden Yards ballpark. We met up with our hometown friends and began our long long hot and humid wait. Cops were out all over the place threatening to break up the line if it got to be too big. One huge cop was walking up and down the street screaming in vain at people to listen but no one cared. About 1/2 an hour later one of my friends made me laugh so hard I stepped back. However i stepped back right into the cop. EEEKK! waiting for him to explode he only gently nudged me back into line saying ".....Please keep towards the wall .." In a monotoned voice" He was now a broken man compared to the raging bull that he was before.
The whole line was on the local news, this was only a small portion of the line that would be tomorrow.

Thur/Fri:
YAY! at 2 am our Canadian freinds finally arived!! Everyone was so happy to see one another that we stayed up to talk till about 4 or 5 am We now had 12 people in 2 rooms.

Sat: 9 am! WOOOO!!!! Con time start! Jumping out of bed I rushed to put on my cosplay outfit (cyborg 009) and down to the con. Oversleeping just a bit I was worried of missing the opening of the dealers room line. THAT line was huge already and the dealers room wasn't going to open for another 2 hours. Luckily an old college friend gave me cuts and when the doors opened it was a magical wonderland of anime shopping as huge as a football field. Running and running I beat the bulk of the crowd to the doujinshi table where the doujinshi guy flagged me down "'Please please PLEASE tell me you have 009 doujin!" Yep ...you're the only person that buys it.
After shopping Rey and I got some food down at the Harbor Place. The whole mall was mobbed with con people. Walking out to the terrace to sit I glanced over the harbor. Hardly no normal tourists in site. Just con go ers and cos players. Otakon was now a small city with in a city.
Not too much excitement was happening for a wile just normal con going or as normal as it gets for a con.
Then dinner. mmmm..ramen good and cheap and...Hey why do we have a coffee pot with not coffee pot part? How can I cook my ramen?! But wait, by just simply putting the ramen bowl where the pot should be we have the "Ramen Perkulatior" (pic will be showen at a later date) You do know that this can only lead into being a bad idea because going into the next room to talk the ramen cup fell over and spilled on the tv and the coffee pot perkulated everyplace.
So much for dinner ...
Evening moved into night and con madness carried on and soon it was time for the con rave YES! Sadly though, the Friday sucked. The music was good but there where quite a few assholes being horrible and rude to others. Like people trying to break up the breaker circles and people stomping as hard as the could on your feet or running into you really hard where ether was space to walk around. I was sad because My normal raver friends that have been at the past few Otakons weren't there.

Fri/Sat.
So I left the rave around 1 am and went into the movie rooms. Tried to watch Loveless but I couldn't hear what was going on with all the fangirl screaming. Witch screaming is ok but why are you screaming when there's no dudes kissing or there's no hot scenes? So I left and wandered the rest of the con till they closed it down around 2:30 am

Sat:
Same con action Really hard-core cosplay day. (Cassandra, Soul Caliber, Doremi, and classy China doll) It's Rey's B Day! Happy B day love We had a nice party for him. Rey was wandering the Dealer's room with me when I stopped to buy the Yammi no Matsumi box set. Wile shifting though some bags one of the people behind the Counter shouted out "So, I see your're standing infront of our sign!"
