Although causing drama is far from my intentions, I have been suggested to take a moment to properly explain the current direction of my artwork, as quite a few people seem to be confused and have misunderstood my interest.

First of all, I do not hate furry art. Everyone's free to draw whatever they please, and I still enjoy good furry art as any other kind of good art. I have only stopped drawing it myself because I don't want to be considered a furry-only artist and want to broaden my horizons. Once I can have a whole week without someone asking me for furry art, I'll return to draw furry.

About the porn, I of course still use it and enjoy it, as everyone else. However, I've decided to give it up because I'm already 23. I know my age is irrelevant, as most of the best porn artists are much older than that; but I can't help but feel it's time I mature and behave like a proper adult. After all, the Internet doesn't forgive: we will someday have bosses, wives, and children, and whatever we make now, it'll stay for them to eventually find out. And I'm using my real name to sign it. So I believe it's best not to produce anything you might eventually regret, for I've already done that quite enough times.

I'm not mad. I wouldn't like this post to sound like a rant, but there have recently been several comments on my pictures which honestly worry me. I'm a conceited moron and I love comments, but the fact that these cases keep happening is somewhat annoying. Keep in mind, if you feel I'm referring to you in any of the following paragraphs, that I'm only posting these because several people have said the exact same things, and I'd like to beg you to avoid them from now on, if possible

1.- 'That looks exactly like...'

While making my own characters, unless they are fan-arts or fan-characters, I sometimes recognize details that may look copied from somewhere else, and immediately change them to keep the design as personal as possible. However, I understand all original creations inevitably resemble previously seen ones, as a human's imagination is limited to his knowledge; some mindless comparison is amusing and instructive, but being accused of plagiarism is plainly insulting. I therefore must beg you to stop saying I've copied my designs from somewhere else I've never heard about.

2.- 'I'd love that to yiff me.'

Nobody likes porn better than I do; OK, probably you all do. I often draw porn, and receiving kinky comments in these pictures is expected and often complimenting. However, some people's unhealthy obsession with male genitalia produces really scary comments, often completely out of place or in non-mature pictures. I'm not to judge your sexual leanings, but there are some things that just are not meant to bring up explicit sexual scenes. I therefore must beg you not to throw comments about certain limbs or orifices unless in proper situations.

3.- 'So you're back into furry.'

As you might have noticed, I no longer draw furry characters. Although I understand an important part of my watchers might feel betrayed, you must see that I had stopped liking anthro art for a very long time, and some might remember I had tried to leave it several times before. Now my style is different and I'm happy with it. However, some of you seem to be in denial about this change, and appear to see every slight variation in my drawing topics as an imminent return. Furry art is about 'anthropomorphic animal characters with human personalities and characteristics', so I must beg you to calm down while I draw simple animals or aliens, as it's merely a sign that I like to draw animals and aliens.

I love animals. I understand Richard Dawkins: the complexity and variety of life is so astonishing you can hardly fathom why people would want to study anything else other than zoology. From blue whales to paramecia, from eagles to cockroaches, from brown bears to red pandas, every single creature is a beautiful survival machine that I want to know and understand.

However, imagine your favorite animal of all is the dog. Most people just have a pet dog for company, but you like them so much you've decided to make them part of your life. You own lots and lots of dogs, every race you can find, and love them and protect them all equally. You often even take them to dog shows where you can admire the beauty of other people's dogs and they can see yours.

One day, you go to a very famous show where all animals are admitted. You wander around, looking for other people's dogs, to compare their beauty to yours'. But you can't find dogs; instead, you find a cat. You prefer dogs, but you don't have anything against cats, so you lean and pet the little animal and walk ahead. As you go on, you can't see any dogs at all, but you find more cats. More and more cats. You feel a bit worried, but you walk on. And you see more cats. Persian cats, Angora cats, bobcats, cheetahs, green panthers, square-shaped lions, three-headed tigers, anything feline, no matter how wrong it might be, as far as your eyes can reach!

You can leave this show now, or just show your dogs and surrender the fact that you won't see any other dogs here. You have no right to complain about people only liking cats, that'd be silly. But you do have the right to not like cats and, therefore, to not look at them. And you can keep on bringing the dogs, for other people like dogs too. And you will. Despite of the cats.
