Lately I've been busy with college apps. I am proud to report that I have officially got all my apps in! *HALLELUJAH* I've gotten one acceptance letter so far to University of Michigan. I'd like to go there, but I just really want to go farther away. I want to go someplace where I don't know anybody. A time for a new start, I guess.

I have been drawing a teeny bit, but mostly with avatar art for gold on Gaia. So besides that, I haven't really been drawing anything original.

It didn't hurt. When I got out of the shower I could see all the blood coming out and it started hurting. I don't know how that cut could have happened because I wasn't even shaving or anything.
So I've concluded that since Ino is so jealous of Sasuke liking me, she was secretly hiding in my bathroom waiting until she could perform the Mind-Transfer Jutsu and cut me. That's the only possibility I can possibly think of, besides ghosts, which we all know are not real.

1st Hour-- AP Bio (backbreaking hardness)
2nd Hour-- Honors Physics (also backbreaking hardness)

And secondly... SCHOOL'S OVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! I've never been so happy for school to end! But even so, I still have a lot to do this summer. Studying for SAT's, testing out of English, practicing violin like four hours a day, going to China, going to Interlochen... That's a lot to do. This'll be my busiest summer yet.

It's called Darker Than Black.

I'm too lazy to provide a detailed description of it... but basically it's about people "superpowers". Okay, it's not that dorky. But there's these people who come out of a Gate that appeared 10 years ago, and these people have powers (haha alliteration!). But they all have some kind of thing they have to do. Like one guy has the power to levitate, but he has to break his fingers as compensation. These people are called Contractors.
This anime seems kind of average when you first read the summary, but it's REALLY good. The first episode was good, the second episode was GREAT. Kept me at the edge of my seat. I've only seen two episodes, but I'm really looking forward to the next episodes! (Btw, this is a Bones production.)

My broadband broke a few days ago and I haven't been able to access dA since. But thankfully, I still have dial-up. Unfortunately, my dial-up doesn't show dA properly.

I probably won't be on dA too often for quite a while... until we get our broadband connection fixed. Those stupid Internet people aren't doing anything to help us!!! XD

Anyway, I'm on a limited time span here, so I have to go now. I just wanted to let ya'll know that I'm not shunning you or anything. I've got a bunch of new art ready to put up right when I get my Internet fixed though! This includes a new ID, requests finished, and... OMG a photoshopped pic!

Jinglefox is very happy right now!

Cuz Jinglefox just won a competition!

And now Jinglefox will stop talking in third person, because like you, it annoys her too.


So anyways... (I like to say anyways, not anyway yup yup) I'm happy right now cuz I just won a competition. An instrumental and voice one-- all instruments and voices are allowed. Yeah, and I got a 100 score from all three judges (piano, vocal, instrumental)! I'm so proud of myself. My goal was to be number one this year, and I finally accomplished it! I won it the last three years (this being my fourth year) but this was the first time I was actually number one! And the competition was really rough this year too. So... yup!

Oh wait, I forgot to tell you that I play violin! Yup! My pieces were Mendelssohn Concerto in e minor first mvt. and Hadyn Concerto in G Major (the required piece).

This was awesome, because I really didn't practice this week at all! I had the talent show going on every day after school that took three hours, so I didn't really get time to practice. It was amazing.

I didn't think I played my best, but... I mean, I had a bunch of finger slips and bow slips. OH WELL! That's done and over with! I still can't believe I got a 100 score out of 100 out of all three judges! XD ALL THREE!

Okay okay, enough of my annoying bragging...

(Btw I won a full ride scholarship to Interlochen All State... before I was going for four weeks but then I changed my mind becuz I want to go to China)


P.S. Sorry for the recent lack of updates. Ever since my scanner broke, I just didn't really draw much. No way to put it up, you know?

So... yeah, I'm afraid my life is pretty boring!

So, uh, what's been going on...


Um, I saw the first and second episodes of Naruto Shippuuden! Naruto looks sooo cute! I really love him! And Kakashi's the same as always! I loved his expression when he got that new book from Naruto. Priceless! I want to take a screen capture of it! XD

So I've been working on my requests. I'm done with some of them, but I haven't gotten a visit to a scanner yet. So, I'll probably be posting some digital junk I made on the computer. Like wallpapers, collages, that kind of stuff.

I did get tagged a bunch of times. It's one of those "6 weird things/habits about your self" tags. I'll have to think about my 6 weird things, k? My last tag like that was so boring!

So our school talent show is keeping me busy. Our symphony orchestra and chamber orchestra are going to be in it. That means a million rehearsals after school... *sigh*

So... since I'm too lazy to get into all that, I'll just sum it up with one sentence. Let's see if I can do it... Okay here it is... I, being concertmistress of the MSBOA All State Orchestra, was totally bored and sore from hours and hours of practicing under our strict conductor who made everyone, especially me, sit up super straight and refrain from crossing our legs.

So besides doing that, I had a lot of homework this weekend. LOADS. TONS. BILLIONS OF POUNDS. (Okay, maybe not thatmuch.) I managed to finish most of it today, but since I missed a couple days of school, I didn't understand a lot of the homework I was doing. Oh well, I'll catch up. Eventually... >>

And so... I apologize for not drawing anything lately. Actually, I have been drawing. It's just that it's hard for me to access a scanner. So be patient... I'll have something up soon, hopefully. (Especially all your requests! )

I'll also be working on re-drawing some of my old artwork. Some of them are just too disgraceful to be in my gallery... so I plan on revising them and putting the new ones up.

But I was a finalist! Which was a major accomplishment for me. There were 17 people participating, and I was on of the three violins that got chosen to play again in the final round (there were other instruments too, like piano). I'm happy! Now I can put that on my college resume! (If anyone wants to know what competition this is, it's called the Southbend Young Artist Competition.)

So... yay me! I'll DEFINITELY win it next year! (Supposedly during the first round, I had the second highest score!) Yup! I'll win it next year for sure! That $1000 is MINE man!

This is good, cuz now I don't have to worry about bombing my exams. I know that I can always be a music major if I fail at school! XD Well actually, I'm doing pretty good in school now... but I'm still totally stressed about exams. It's like... killing me. O_O

It's about time I updated!


School has kept me busy! But it's all right.


I've been drawing a lotta junk lately. Just random stuff. School gives me so much inspiration! XD Unfortunately my new scanner doesn't work. Everybody say "Awww..."! Yes yes I know, you're all so eager to see my work... *cough cough*

I probably going to start taking art lessons again. I hope so! It's fun.


Hey, has anybody seen the anime La Corda D'Oro? It's really new, and on YouTube. It's about this music school and the kids who go to it! I really like it! The violin player with the blue hair is sooo cute, even if he does have a major attitude. GO TO YOUTUBE RIGHT NOW AND WATCH IT! Under Search, type in "La Corda" and it will come up with the first episode.
WATCH IT! Cuz there's this part where the blue-haired violinist plays in the first episode. And guess what? I played both of those songs on my violin! XD The first song he played was called "Polonaise de Concert" by Wieniawski. Oh my gosh it is sooooo hard! I was kinda disappointed that he played it that way, though. >_> I was hoping for a Heifetz kinda guy. ^^ Anyway, the second song he played was "Carmen" (forget which m'vt). C'mon, we all know what Carmen is, right?!

Okay okay... here's what's going down...

My mum called my school counselor cuz she wanted me to change languages for next school year-- from Spanish to Latin. I wanted to switch becuz I've decided that one of my career chioces is going to be a pharmacist (it's between pharmacist and professional violinist). And supposedly you should know Latin if you're going to be a pharmacist. But my counselor (who I've never even met before) said that if I switch languages, I'll have to drop AP US History and take regular US History. I don't want to take regular US History... Well, I finally finished watching Loki Ragnarok. It was good, and I almost cried at the ending. But I think I like the manga better.

So... I've been reading the dreaded book The Grapes of Wrath. I am ALMOST done. ALMOST!!! Darn, The Grapes of Wrath is soooo boring!!! *sigh* But I have to get through it somehow...

OH, and VERY important news. Have ya'll noticed that I no longer have a Desktop Screenshot, even though I clearly had one before? Yeah. I think it has something to do with the new categorizations of dA or something. I looked at my NEW NEW HC Desktop and saw that it was newly categorized under "Customizations" and not under "Destop Screenshot" anymore. What's up with that? And when I clicked to "Edit Deviation" and "Edit category and section", it was there that I found the "Manga/Anime" section in its own category. Weird, huh?

Oh, oh, and guess what? I'm got an IPod Nano! ^^ YAY! The problem is... I really don't have that many songs. I just have a buncha j-pop openings and endings. I'm open to music charity! I would love you forever if you sent me some music!

ANYWHO... I'm home! Home! Home! I will be home for the rest of summer. Yay! But now I have to, uh, *cough cough* study for the SAT's (haha, like I'm gonna do that! ).

My head hurts. Driving home from Interlochen takes quite awhile! But that's okay. I made a lotta new friends and stuff! I hope to stay in touch with them, and hopefully get them to go on dA too!

I hope I don't catch a cold. Interlochen Arts Camp has really extreme temperatures. We wake up at 6:30 A.M. and go to sleep at 11:00 P.M. Maybe that's why my head hurts now!

I took a lotta pictures while I was there too. I'll be sure to put them up. I'm excited. I also bought a buncha souveniers for family and stuff. I bought some awesome authentic Murano glass in Italy, had some excellent pizza, bought a few shirts, ate LOTS of chocolate, and other stuff! MY GOSH, THERE WAS SO MUCH WALKING!!! Especially in Florence, where there was that really long bridge. We had to keep on walking back and forth to get ready for our concerts and shop. We walked about 5-10 miles a day... so tiring!

I gotta check my 312 messages now. Dear me; I might not get through all the deviantWatch deviations.

BTW, we just finished reading "Romeo and Juliet" in H. English! And we've watched Zefirelli's Romeo and Juliet and another produced in 1996. The 1996 one is so FUNNY! And Leonardo DiCaprio is so HOT! Gotta love 'em!
