This picture is of Donauworth,a city on the Danube and Wornitz rivers. Bavarian towns like this are really colorful, and every building has its unique shade. This river in this picture isn't the whole thing; the Wornitz split up and went on both sides of the river, the left side being about 5 times as large...

Next: [link]

We ate dinner in Tannheimer Tal, Austria, and this is what my dad ordered...When they say fresh, its meant. Also popular during our visit was 'spargle', or asparagus. "It was in." said the waitress. Indeed it was. Every special was spargle cream, spargle sauce. Everybody ate asparagus. I half expected to turn a corner and find a poster of a model with some spargle clenched in their teeth in an alluring pose.

Lastly: [link]

This is a picture of Augsburg, Germany, more specifically the Main Street. The king of Bavaria allowed Augsburg to build a road in honor of him because they donated the most money to his family. Kinda like the ones who won the Aztec game got their hearts ripped out as a prize...
Actually, it's not. But anyway, the church at the end is St. Ulrich's and Afra, named after the two dead saints they proudly display underground. I guess having a church is like a status symbol in Germany, saying, Hey! We have so much money we can blow it all on a cathedral bigger and more expensive then the one build two months ago! For the most part, the only visitors in the church were the tourists and the Japanese (yes, they are separate groups. Tourists tour, Japanese tourists pillage and take enough pictures to make a 3D representation of their entire trip).

Well, for any of you that care, I will be putting in the journal some pictures of Germany. These are not for show pics; they should show you what you can expect if you, by happy accident, should you travel there.
Its going to take some time to compile everything, so I'll try to edit this entry when i find something new.
My trip to Germany was pretty much as normal as a vacation can get, but by normal, I mean nothing blowing up as seen in movies. Hurrah!

First - [link]

this is a picture of the clouds above Germany. And yes, i did the 'Verboten' ( <-- My god that was bad), and took pictures on the plane. Another yes, this picture is also photoshopped beyond belief.

Another picture! [link]

The area where we stayed for a little while in Germany was strong in dairy stuff. By strong, i mean it. Envision cheeses the size of BMWs, and you get the picture. (Well, maybe not quite that big). But, anyway, I stayed at a dairy farm, and visited the cows.
Cows smell worse cooped up in a barn then a Port-a-Potty in Mexico City on a hot day. After about seven simultaneous dumps on the floor, the cows regarded me w/ a baleful look which asked several soulful questions, including 'Do you have any food?'

This is a picture of a cow trying to eat my camera. Its pretty much what all cows do. If you're Bavaria, expect cows.

Last one for this journal entry: [link]

This is a Alpine village near the Olympic town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. We took a rusty cable car manned by an old man smoking a cigar up the mountain. When we got to the top of the mountain, we saw this town. It was as if, people thought, 'Oh, how can I make my life as inconvenient as possible?" Everything had to be adapted to the mountains and climate. In front of the picture, that little white building is a chapel. Just thought I'd point that out.
In Germany, you need a crane to build a house, since many roofs are stone, and need a lot of support. Any other roof might collapse under the weight of snow.
