What? They're keychains of the character of your choosing, made out of cardstock, copic markers (occasionally with some Prismacolor pencil additions), 100% FUCK YEAH AMERICA gumption and white ink (either a pen or the snazzy Deleter kind), laminated and attached to a ball chain.

1. I prefer drawing females to males. I relate easier to my own gender. When I try to draw guys I'm like, "Look, I dunno what the hoo-hah is going on here, but your anatomy is like... spine, then ass, then feet. That isn't right. DID YOU SELL YOUR HIPS ON THE BLACK MARKET?!"

2. When I get art block, I still draw. I try to force myself from the block. Sometimes it takes and othertimes I get told to back the fuck off. That's usually when I draw... like this. Yep.

3. I love drawing hair. The hair is the best part for me. It's like a hat only it comes out of your skull. 8D

4. People only get to see about 10% of what I work on. Including the scraps I post on my LJ. Seriously, I have entire crates full of junk that will never see the light of day.

5. I use crazy amounts of paper because I don't believe in erasing and using the same piece of paper. That's the sad truth. In my defense, I pick up 60% of stuff I abandon. I'm going to hell for cutting down the rainforests and blahblah, I know. D:

6. Cannot draw with regular wooden pencils. Just... no. NO. Mechanical or bust.

7. I failed art in school.

8. Although I've been getting better about using skeletons, I generally just start drawing eyes or noses or something and go from there.

9. I LOVE BANGS. Bangs are the best things ever. I throw a hissy fit if I have to draw a character without them. But! I hate short bangs. PC knows. I bitch and moan whenever I draw short bangs. Cropped hair can bite my ass too. GROW SOME FRO JARHEAD OR GTFO.

10. I would love to do more fanart... but everyone fell into a vat of DEFY PHYSICS WITH OUR HAIR. So no.

I got my AX2006 badge in the mail today.

I will be attending Anime Expo this coming Fourth of July weekend. In between taking in some viewing, loitering in the Artist Alley, attending the Gaia Online panel, raiding the Dealer's Room and just taking in the craziness with Chax... I will probably sit down on the couches just outside the Dealer's Room to draw. It's pretty much tradition now.

I'll have the above illustration (laminated 4x6 cardstock) on my messenger bag which is really like an extension of my body... so if you spot that you've spotted me. (Or quite possibly my body double, Tissandra. HARR HARR) If you spot me please come up and say 'hi'. :3 I'll have 4x6 index cards and drawing utensils on hand and would be glad to draw something for you or just talk. I love company.

2] How did you get the name?
- I took it from my character Junko Shimazaki. She wasn't really my favorite character, or very interesting, but I've always been bad at coming up with names and that name was taken yet so... there you have it.

3] Do you use PC or Mac?
- PC.

4] What software you use most often?
- Uh... openCanvas, PSP7, Paint BBS, MS Paint...

5] Do you use mouse, or tablet?
- Tablet all the way. I can't do anything with a mouse. Those of you who can? God am I jealous of you.

6] The color you use most often is?
- Black.

7] What area of the pictures do you put most effort into?
- Facial expression, eyes, hair. I'm not very good at anatomy so I try to make up for it by conveying emotions through the face.

8] How long does it take you do draw a picture?
- It's circumstantial. I can turn out a picture in 2 minutes, but those sorts are never very good looking. Most of them get thrown away.

9] Do you keep your rough drafts?
- If they're in my sketchbook, yeah. More of the stuff I do on loose leaflets of paper gets thrown away, though.

10] What kind of font do you use most often?
- 04b24, Dirty Headline.

11] What's the dpi when you scan?
- 300 Dpi.

12] Do you do anything else when you're drawing pictures?
- Yeah. I sing along to music, talk on the phone... I do just about anything really. I've been known to doodle on notepads while cooking. Haven't lost any fingers yet. Go me.

13] How many pictures do you draw in a month?
- Hundreds. How many I finish is an entirely different story.

14] What kind of paper do you draw your pictures on?
- Anything that's smooth. I hate paper that has that watercolor paper quality to it. Hell it doesn't even have to be paper. I doodle on cardboard, napkins, metal (don't ask me to explain that one)... In the sixth grade I defaced an entire Bible. I did it because I don't give a rats ass who begat who. Or begot... or whatever.

15] What kind of paper do you use for sketches and drafts?
- Read above.

16] How long does it take to ink something?
- Depends on my mood. I can ink fast but it comes out looking bad. If I put forth an honest effort I can ink a 8x11 sketch in half an hour.

17] Do you do doujinshi or original manga?
- No. Not yet that is. >>

18] Do you like doujinshi? Is it fun making it?
- I like doujinshi, but I have never made it.

19] Ever submitted anything to a magazine?
- No. I'm terrified of doing something like that.
