i've missed you guys very muchhh!
oh, and this means i can draw again haha.
anyway, going to get back into practice, and seeing as i have the whole month of june free, i'll see if i can make something good enough to put up!

i just have to say my style is way different. after another year of developing it, i'd say it's a lot looser and freer, with much fewer strokes. so if you think my art is simple before, it's gotten even simpler haha.

i've also reallocated some of my love for art over to fashion and cooking. it's great.

i don't have much else to say except that i'm sorry i can't post often enough! i know i personally hate it when a fashion blog isn't updated very often, so i can sympathize with you guys if you're mad at me for wasting space on your watch list. hope you'll find it in your heart to forgive meeee.

this is why i think my journal is better spent sponsoring undiscovered talent, people who really deserve some pageviews.

Unfortunately, I don't really draw anymore ;;; Actually, I haven't drawn at all since January lol. It makes me feel bad because my tablet is going to waste, but it's also made me realize where my priorities are. There was a point in my life where I was seriously pursuing an art career, but I think that God has other plans for my life. Now I'm trying to focus more on my life outside of art, and hopefully make it where I need to go.

I'm still grateful for all the years I've been on dA. It's been a lot of fun.
But in the end, I realized that what I really valued wasn't the art - it was the people. I've met some of the coolest people in the world on dA, and they made it all worth it I feel so blessed. Lol I was actually organizing my room yesterday and I have piles and piles of manga that I feel like I wasted my money on now... but now I think it was worth it because I got to fangirl with my friends LOL;;;;

So I guess what I'm trying to say is that there'll always be a part of me here dA is too much fun to give up completely, I think. Plus I owe the coolest people in the world a lot of drawings XD

I'll be back, but in the meantime, thanks for everything.

Feature artist of the week:

one of my absolute favorite types of styles, the style that looks authentically Asian (thanks Juby XD) Lol. I don't know how to explain it, but there are some artists out there that use a distinct color palette or have a distinct style that makes it feel like it's something that's professionally published in Japan. Kissai definitely has that type of style O_O! Her entire gallery is just amazing, especially since she's so versatile. Definitely an artist to check out :3

So I'm a little late on, like, everything. I think the only anime I've watched waiting every week for the latest episode to be subbed is Ouran. But recently I've been glued to YouTube watching all the series I've wanted to watch for the longest time (which is taking a toll on the amount I sleep every night).

I've finnaally finished every episode from School Rumble (season 1 only though XD;; )!! It's so funny omg. I think I'll start season 2 in a little while, though, because right now I'm watching Peach Girl O_O It's not really my type of anime because it reminds me of those Asian Dramas, but it's actually really cute. I really can't stand the animation (Bones probably tops everything else) but the storyline is sooo cute. And the voice actor of Kairi did the voice of Kaoru in Ouran!! XD I remember liking the manga a lot, so I'll stick around for more eps.

I've been watching a little Loveless too! It's so cute. Ahhhh Ritsukaaa is too adorable <33 I haven't been keeping up with the manga though, so I guess I'll be in for a surprise later on?? I want to watch Furuba too T__T Too many serriieess

Recently I've been losing a lot of CGs and pics because my computer has been freezing. And it's not just like FREEZING freezing, it's like it drags and then it make this sound (kinda like when you tap on a mic) and then everything stops working. UGGHHHhhh.

And then I found out today that it was because of... ITUNES.

WHAT.
Yeah I thought it was kinda weird. But I oekakied today without listening to any music, and it ended up not freezing (I didn't finish it though because I, uh... accidentally deleted a layer without thinking.... T__T;; *really stupid*). I guess it makes my computer lag. I wonder why I didn't notice this before. XD;;;

But I can't draw without music LOL XD I think I'll just take my ipod and listen to it, not the actual itunes on the computer. Or I'll use Windows MediaPlayer or something.

UGH but that's why I haven't submitted in a long time TAT;; I SWEAR I finished Kimi's pic today when the PC froze T_______T;;; And then I got frustrated and ended up running around the house trying to find quiet ways to let out my anger LOL;;;;;

OK so hopefully this'll work out next time

Anyways, I've been watching School Rumble lately (recommended by the amazing ) and it's SO FUNNY omg XDDD Harima and Tenma make me die laughing. I love animes that can actually make me laugh out loud XD. And Tenma's love interest Karasuma makes me laugh so much just by looking at his face ROFL. He says just about nothing every episode, but he and Harima both crack me up XD <333

And of course, Ouran! <333 It's like a weekly ritual to wait for the subs of each ep LOL ;;;
But I heard there're only going to be four episodes left? ;___;;; NOOOooooo there has to be a second season?! Ahhhh T___T;;; Four episodes isn't nearly enough to develop everyone... ;___;;;

Spoilers!

I was so sad that Ed and Winry didn't end up together T_T I mean, she brought him his automail arm and leg and everything when he crossed back through the gate?! (SO SWEET T_T). And it was cute to see Ed blush when he thought about her and stuff TwT But I was SO happy (/surprised XD) when Al popped out of armor at the end hehe XD I'm so glad they got to be together in the end T^T (brotherly love <333)

Stupid Noa T_T Ugh... but Gluttony was so weird looking and omg I loved when Wrath asked Al to transmute him so he could go to his mother ;____; And Roy T__T he finally killed Bradley but poor Riza ;A;;;

I don't know, I think FMA is just really good (in my opinion) because it's so... whole? It's kind of hard to explain, but it really resonates within me even though I don't always relate to it, etc... It's really effective in communicating the overall message, too O_O The movie really completed the series... And Arakawa tied it into HISTORY which is, like, 2394872394832 bonus points lol XD

But now that I've gotten through everything, there's nothing left to do except... watch it again!! lol XD

*should probably stick to drawing diseased dinosaurs* I kinda forgot how it came about, but it had something to do with finding the most efficient way to draw a heart XD;;;

Most people I know draw one half of the heart and then the other, which I think kinda makes the heart look puffy, but I'm used to drawing the heart with one stroke, which kinda makes the heart look anorexic... hmmmm.... XD

The manga I was thinking of doing before was kinda like a soap opera in the sense that it 'monitored' the lives of many people, so I figured I should do a short manga focusing on one relationship before I do a big one T3T;;

This one is still in progress and I still haven't named the main characters (I want to make their names relevant to their roles in the story XD; ), so here are two side characters C:

Next mission: Coldplay X&Y! XD I want that CD so badly ;;; I love their songs so much *___* I heard 'Fix You' on MTV and it was the sweetest song I had heard in a long time T3T;;

omg This is my favorite KakaSaku fanfic OF ALL TIME T___T She is a KILLER writer and everything is so meticulously well-crafted it's amazing @__@;; I looove how romantic and creative she is and how everything falls into place! This is just a fanfic that's too good for words and nothing I write is ever going to be able to describe it @D@;; It's a little lemon-y, but she links to those seperately if you don't want to read them.
