So a friend showed me a 4chan thread (I don't actually go on that site at all, but once in a while friends will send me threads and I'll read them) in which characters were placed into one of nine different categories of where they lean. I thought I might as well try to do this with my own characters, but I really had no one to show it to at the time, so may as well show it to a lot of people, right?

Rules or some such (in case you want to try it out for yourself):

There are nine categories: Lawful Good, Neutral Good, Chaotic Good, Lawful Neutral, Neutral, Chaotic Neutral, Lawful Evil, Neutral Evil, Chaotic Evil. You can get together all of your characters or all from one universe, or whatever it is you want to do, and try to get one in each category, with either a quote or description that sorta explains why they belong there.

I hope you understand what each category name means, so I'll just continue with mine and you can figure it out from there if you don't get it right now.

(Also, this'll probably have DCtM spoilers if you are one of the few reading that and you care about that sorta thing)


Lawful Good: Keve

Don't really have a quote for this one. Keve is fighting for a reason and if he thought there was any doubt as to whether or not he was on the morally correct side of the matter then he'd stop and reconsider what he should do until he can come to a clean-cut solution.

Neutral Good: Rafonne

“Why did he want to make us not happy?”

“Because the only way he'd be happy is if he made lots of people not happy.”

“But...but that wouldn't balance right. That would mean that he'd be happy but lots of others would not.”

Chaotic Good: Graye

“How do I know that you haven't altered my memories any more than that?”

She is on Keve's side because he is lawful good and was able to convince her that his side was the lawful one. However, she is just as capable of going to the opposing side if they have someone more convincing or just as important a reason to be doing what they are doing.

Neutral: Kurt (also a stretch)

See, I loved DCtM. Its characters, universe and situations appealed to me for some reason, so I wanted to take a break to make sure that when I start writing it again, it ends up being perfect.

Then, a few days ago, told me that I should post DCtM on DA, since writing is the way I draw. I really like it on DA; I check my profile and the KCCh profile at a few times a day, but I've kinda lost all talent for drawing I may once have thought I had, so I have had nothing to post. So my posting DCtM is partly to get some constructive criticism and partly so that I can feel like I actually contributed to my DA page for once.

So that's where I am right now. How are you doing?

Anyway, this is November, which of course means NaNoWriMo is upon me again.

I was really worried about being able to juggle novel-writing while getting through my first year of college, but this year has definitely been my most productive one since I started the WriMo tradition in...2005...

If anyone is at all interested, just ask and I'll put up some novel snippets or maybe the whole thing, since I'm really loving this one.

Also, I'm gonna try to get into drawing again next month, as a sort of self-induced, visual art form of NaNoWriMo. I'll see if I can't get at a scanner.

Lastly, Obama won! If you didn't want him to win, then my condolences go out to you, but I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

Anyway, a lot has happened since then. I got Brawl ,graduated from High School, played Brawl, planned more for KCCh, played Brawl, got a DS, played Brawl, beat Phoenix Wright and loved it, played Brawl, drove around town like a crazed maniac, played Brawl, became part of a band, played Brawl, got unstuck in Earthbound, played Brawl, attended freshman orientation at Appalachian State University, played Brawl, ordered all the parts to build a computer with except for the processor, played Brawl, joined a brand new forum, played Brawl, etc.

In short, since February, I've played a lot of Brawl, so I kinda want to talk about that; still, so save you who had thought you had finally escaped that long period where everyone was posting rants on Brawl, I'll only post my mains and my wifi code.

I use Ness, Dedede, Donkey Kong, Pokemon Trainer, Yoshi and Wolf, and my friend code is 4296-2648-2325.

Okay, on to KCCh.

We've been working pretty dern hard on it. had to rewrite the entire code to make it more organizable, but I have to say that we're back on track, and the entire game runs better for it. We're so back on track that we've registered for a booth at [link] and we're considering registering for a booth at [link] now that they allow third party games. SAGE may be too soon for us, though...

I joined a new forum that was put together by some of the people over at KRR, probably because they were tired of random two-word posts with a bunch of emoticons and no substance. Regardless of how it came about, the fact is that the Intelligent Game Discussion forum is a great board if you like to talk about things intelligently. I am a Catholic. I think it's a great religion as far as religions go, but then so are most religions, with the exception of weird ones like the Church of Scientology. Here's the thing, though, and I'm sure everyone can relate to this: there are some Catholics out there that give openminded ones like me a bad name. The most prevalent example of this is the Catholic League at [link]

These guys love to state their stupid, closeminded opinions and then say that all Catholics feel this way. They boycotted The Golden Compass movie, spoke out against the "ungodly lies" spread by The DaVinci Code, and even watch every episode of South Park just so they can get pissed off every time Christianity is mentioned.

Here's the thing, though. While I am fine with Bill Donahue and his band of ultra-conservative Catholics stating their opinions on the web, no one should assume that this is what all Catholics believe. I am a Catholic, but like many of us out there, I do not like the current pope. I feel that abortion is appropriate in certain situations (rape victims or women who could easily die while in labor). I liked The DaVinci Code a lot (though the book is a ton better than the movie could ever hope to be). I feel that gay people are born not made. South Park is a great show and their episode on Catholicism was quite relavent; the church could use some changes.

All religions and lack therof have the same problem I am having. For every Baptist bringing fire and brimstone from above on all that are not of their religion there are a hundred who are perfectly reasonable. For every atheist on youtube who denounces all religion just to get a rise out of people there are a hundred who let people believe what they want to. For every pagan who just calls themselves that because they think that makes them dark and weird, there are a hundred who actually feel that is their religion and live perfectly normal lives.

The point is, every person is an individual and has no right to say that his belief is what everyone else of a similar background believes.

and that is what I truly believe.

Anyway, I didn't win NaNoWriMo this year, due to a series of events that were out of my control, but I do have 19K words of a story that I really really like and am definitely gonna finish. Maybe I'll post parts of it on here once in a while, though doing that with Noname didn't seem to make people that happy.

Kirby:Cosmic Chaos is coming along really nicely. If you haven't been checking out our Devart page at , you probably should, as it's got some great pictures on it. We've got a really nice pic up right now of the models for every normal ability in the game, and they look AMAZING

My art teacher wants me to learn how to do Vector art, which means that I have been trying to learn to use Flash. While my picture doesn't look all that bad, I think I prefer photoshop/paintshop, so yeah...

Now that November's over I'll probably go back to editing Noname so I can try to get it published.

I've been doing school stuff, which is always fun. I'll be posting another pic in a bit, something KCCh related, since I have been obsessing over that quite a bit. In fact, my recent mass-faving of art depicting Kirby final bosses was in part because the team has been planning some final boss stuff and it's gonna be sweet, so I needed to look at some Dark Matter pictures.

Some people on the Rainbow Resort forums are talking about making a Kirby fangame event, which would be really cool, since the world needs more Kirby games and HAL's taking a while on theirs...

SSBB is looking awesomer with every update (yes. Awesomer). I can't wait to be MK and Link (and hopefully Ness) and beat up on people online.

I turned 18 on the 9th, which was sweet.

Uh, yeah, that's everyone

the ones with icons are deviantart people, obviously, but not all of them have art. While all the ones without icons have people on deviantart with those names, I would verily doubt it if those were the same people. I know for a fact that Alby is not female, so...


Anyway, so I had the idea of coloring screenshots of 3d models made, animated, and programmed into the game by the venerable Minon to make them look like drawn pictures, and I think it looks pretty good.

So expect more pictures of copy abilities, characters (old and new), enemies, maybe bosses, possibly locations, for quite a while. I'm hoping to do a lot of these.

I'll post up a link to the site once Minon finishes the polished demo, but boy, will it knock your socks off!



Oh, and I deleted my file for Radiata Stories when I was almost at the final boss and had to start from scratch...

So yeah. The car ride to a vacation is inescapably more stress than a vacation is actually able to relieve. I was stuck in the back seat with my brother and sister, aged eight and fifteen, and two laptops which mysteriously lost battery power within twenty minutes. The length of the trip led to many barely averted WWIII's.

Other than the rides there and back, this should prove to be a good vacation.

And yes, no pictures. Sorry

anyway, my brother came home from playing with the neighbors crying again because his friends' mom told him that she didn't trust me with her little angels (who are both F***king terrors and should be smacked for the psychological damage they've put my brother through).

He was very upset and was crying so hard that I could barely understand him for at least fifteen minutes.

The mom in question is in constant fear that because I am a teenager and a boy, that I am obviously going to harass or rape her little brat of a eight-year-old girl. I really don't care what she thinks of me, but her attitude towards me is affecting my brother, which is not fair, as he has been depressed lately because he's been bullied at school, and he does not need more crap upsetting him even more. He's only eight, for God's sake. An eight-year-old can only take so much crap.

Sorry for angsting at anyone who reads this, but that really made me mad, as her two children, who must have some mental issues somewhere in there, have thrown him out of their house and called him names and said that he shouldn't be near his brother who's a bad person, and hit him over the head with sticks until he's bled and had to get something on the order of stitches for the cut, and sicced dogs and preschoolers on him. And it just makes me sick.




And I'm on eight medications right now, just in case one of them might make me feel better, and I have to feel at least semi-alright by tomorrow as I'm going to be the Easter Bunny for the library Easter celebration, which will entail lots of hopping in a hot, heavy costume for at least three hours.

I really liked that movie a lot, and I usually am not a fan of movie with a lot of blood and violence and crap. The only parts of the movie that I wasn't such a fan of were the over-the-top sex scenes, but I can live with that.

One interesting thing about the movie is that every time there is a list, it ends with "Sparta." From the already famous "This is madness, this is blasphemy" "THIS IS SPARTA!" on, the movie is brimming with lists that end in SPARTA. And yes, it needs to be written in caps.

there was one part:

Female Lead: "Do it for Freedom, do it for Justice, do it for Pride; but most of all, do it for..."

Me (in a monotone): "Sparta."

Female Lead: "Hope."

Me: "Wait, what?"

So ends my rant on the movie. If you don't mind blood too much, and you can overlook the almost-not-R-rated sex, then see it.

Do it for SPARTA!!!!!

I'm still coughing and wheezing like there is no tomorrow, and I still am sick, but as my lung stopped aching all the time, and I am no longer contagious, I'm pretty happy.

In other news, I'm helping to compose music for a fangame that someone commissioned the venerable Minon to program, and so the next day, I got a great dose of (composers?) block that is slowly starting to lift up...............maybe. It's a good thing that most of the music I have to write is just remixes of Kirby songs, so I don't have to write as many from scratch.

So...yeah. Still won't be posting much art, or if I do, they'll probably be of the quality of my SGD fanart scrap, as my only scanner is dead, and I have no art classes in school, just Precalculus and Latin, which SUCKS!!!
