CHRISTMAS WISHLIST

If you have a Christmas wishlist here, comment here or note me and I'll put it up in this journal so that other people can grant your wishes too!

Step One
Make a post to your DA journal. The post should contain your list of ten holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a ______ icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("all I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV."). The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your DA or link to this post so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two
Surf around your friends list (or friends' friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now, here's the important part:

If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use -- do it.

The stuff I saw was pretty sweet. I swear there was a theme of drip paintings. I loved them though. There was one huge piece. It was set up in the corner of a hallway. It was these huge sheets of scrolls and they were just spread into hills of paper among the corner and it had kinda like a map painted on it. The best part was, the scrolls were all the pages in the bible sown together. It was pretty neat.

So I didn’t win =Titanix-Avalon ‘s contest, but it’s all good. The people who DID win were awesome!

I uploaded ONE thing. It’s a Christmas card for my Region. They asked my school to make cards for ‘em. I forgot to scan the better one before I submitted it >< I finished it like seconds before I handed it in. poo.

Okay so the sad news is my daddy kinda dropped my scanner and it’s not really working any more. *tear* That is tres depressing. He told me right after I thought “Hey, I haven’t uploaded many pictures, maybe I should do that tonight.” XD so don’t expect much from me any time soon.

The Story -

It started off as a good night. Sarah and Derek picked me up about 7:30 ish (at night) and we went to find Jeff's baseball game. Derek got lost, it was funny, then we saw two guys playing with fire on the sidewalk when we drove passed and Sarah was like "Holy Pyro".
WE found the game! And omg guess what the park was called? Whipper Billy Watson Park *laughs*

Anyways after eating half of a melting ice cream tub, watching Jeff play really crappy-like, and Sarah being molested by a dog, we decided to go see Willy Wonka (after some better ice cream of course). Sarah and I bought a toy (it was a red Flotsam Neopet XD)!!
The movie was awesome, really funny. Thought i still like the original movie. Johnny Deep made Wonka creepy insane rather then kid-in-giant's-body insane (Don't tell Sarah but Johnny Deep almost looked ugly in that film, it made me sad).

We decided to go home after playing Hide n' Seek with cars. I was in Derek's van, Sarah in Jeff's car and Derek and I were getting bored b/c we weren't finding them, heh heh.
Anyways, Derek and I went to feed his van and Jeff and Sarah waited for a bit before taking off to Sarah's place.
Derek drove quickly to catch up with them and decided we should pass them and we attempted, but Jeff was going too fast. So he waited a bit before getting ready to pass them again, but there was a car in the other lane so he moved back behind Jeff's car.

That's when it happened. Jeff was suddenly slowing down very quickly and Derek was desperately trying to slow down just as fast. I wasn't sure what was going on, but suddenly Derek swore and as if i knew what was happening i braced myself and there were sparks under Jeff's car and a really loud screech of breaks before we rear ended them. All i kept seeing were the lights while Derek pulled over. I got out immediately and all i could hear was Derek's string of swear words. Then through that I heard my name and Sarah was opening her door. Jeff ran out of the car and his first words were “Sarah hit her head, but she’s okay.” She ran to me and started speaking but my head was still back on the lights under Jeff’s car and the screech, I can still hear it in my head. Like a cursed banshee on the cliffs on Ireland.

Everything after that went calmly, or it was going so slowly in my mind that I was keeping up only when everyone finished yelling…I don’t remember. Jeff and Derek phoned home after Derek ran down the street to see what we hit. A Mail box! It turns out Jeff and Sarah saw two kids on bikes, and that’s when they started to see the mailbox in the middle of the road.
Sarah called her parents (Jeff had to talk to them) then I mine (and they’re at the cottage so I woke literally my whole family and my grandparents).

The parents came (Jeff’s mom and dad, Derek’s dad [Jeff’s mom’s adorable, she gave us a hug]) and dealt things out. Jeff’s parents took us home and left Jeff’s car on the side of the road (it wouldn’t start).
So yeah, that’s my night, and I’m at Sarah’s now, we got home about 4 in the morning and Sarah’s mom started to yell at her (a bit of an overreaction, I attempted to defend Sarah but Sarah’s mom wasn’t going to hear of it [that and I’ve never met her before]).

Everyones fine now. Just a little shaken. That morning I finished some of my very late wc – isu project (still not finished, I’m such a terribly committed procrastinator I should be shot!) then did last minute shopping for a bra, nail polish, anklet, and liquorish to chew on before my hair appt. My mom did my toe nails silver (which Colin seemed to be fascinated by) and forgot to do my finger nails before my hair appt, so no nail polish for me during prom (oops XD).

My sister literally walked through the door after walking home from school before I came rushing towards her saying, “Jenn! I’m in desperate need of a Make-up artist!” Needless to say she was still for a few minutes stunned (by my beauty of a dress and hair obviously) before reacting.

Jeffy boy came over to sub-in for my brother who was away at Arts Camp. He was all spiff-ified: hair gelled up, nice ironed, collared shirt, dress shoes. He made sure he looked as uncomfortable as possible, heh heh. Oh well, the picture’s turn out nice and he did smile nicely (after my mom made a funny comment, you can tell in the picture).

We rushed over to Manda’s and made it there just as the limo did (what timing, eh?) and took, I swear, about 4 dozen pictures in Manda’s backyard (and that was only half the people!). We rode off to Erica’s to pick-up her and Brian (thank god we didn’t have to get out), then quickly sped to Todd’s and all the parents followed b/c everyone was there (minus mine and Eric’s dates) to take pictures of. We were there for a while, took a group shot, couple shot, all girls, all guys, everyone in front of the limo, the back of the girls’ hair (my cheek bones was killing me!), oh it took awhile.
Then we all had to squish in that tiny limo! I was squeezed between Liam and Tasha (Liam talked to me zero! That ass) and poor Eric was on the floor…and just to top it off, he started singing!

We met Angie, Whitney and Carina once we got there, it wasn’t much of a wait at all and headed in where I eventually found Colin. First of all, when we finally got to the end of the line we couldn’t find my name and Colin was seated to some random table. So They put me with Todd and Ally (which I found out weren’t sitting with the rest of the gang, everyone was spread out), so nice start: I don’t exists and I can’t sit with my date. I shrug the problem off, it’s prom after all, something always goes wrong. I was hoping that was it…oh no; Manda and Todd and to go and complain to Lacy about everyone not sitting with each other. Within the next fifteen minutes I had 6 of those slushie drinks (to keep my mouth shut), the waitress knew my name, Manda and Todd were red faced, I lost Colin, and couples were beginning to bicker. Greeeeaat, and all because we didn’t sit together. Oh but it didn’t stop there, no Lacy decided to say, sit where ever! And so we did and Mrs. Lumley got pissed at us for that b/c of one person’s onion allergy! Honestly!
Tess bitches at us for stealing their table and when we attempted to move back to where we were assigned, the other table insisted it was theirs. Dear lord, so we had no seat (or so I was told over and over again whether it didn’t ask…or didn’t ask). After a few minutes of Manda trying to reason with this table Tracey went to go speak with Mrs. Lumley and we were moved to the table beside Tess. Ha! Except, Colin was at the table on the other side. –tear.- So somehow Tracey and Poole went to sit with him…instead of me…oh man. But at least the dinner was good! Near the end of dinner was the category awards with no bit surprise to the winners (which really bothered me, btw, it was the same people!! –grumbles.-) Another bit surprise, Delroy and Laci were crowned Prom King and Queen - kudos to them.

Anyways, even though Colin hung around his group of friends, I was still able to et a dance in (and what a gentleman he was…-scoffs- he was cursing with his buddy dancing with Miranda more then half the time). OH well, Eric and Sedore asked me to dance with ‘em, and I asked Delroy near the end just because Allison had pulled Eric away while they were talking (I envy him, he went to a 5 star cabin for after prom! So sweet!).

In the end it was fun. We got Ally on to the dance floor. I jigged with Todd, Poole, Tracey and Whitney. Eric did his MC Hammer dance (funniest thing I’ve ever seen, I swear!). There was a Chocolate fountain; 20 million skeeters; emo-dudes with roses (must hurt Whit and Manda); Footloose! Grease songs! Barbie girl! A whole bundle of old 80s songs! And a whole group of friends who just had a lot of fun (actually, I wouldn’t know if Liam had fun or not, he decided not to talk to me at all, that ass).

Havn't been doing as much drawing as I'd like to do, just havn't really going around to drawing my own thing that doesn't have to do with school.

Anyays, I wont be posting much art in the next few weeks. I am dealing with a personal issue at the moment, and I'm finishing up final projects and getting ready for exams which are held on June 16 though to June 22.
Also, I'm working at my cottage all this summer. Santa's Village and Sportsland in Bracebridge to be exact. I'll hopefully be Face Painting again this year. So I wont be on at all this summer. No computer in the cottage country, my friends.

Well that's all I have to say.
