Ow. My face hurts from smiling so much.
Um...time to rant! Because it has been far too long since I have seen just an amazing, to-a-tea, almost flawless, brilliant, mind blowing, and just all around wonderful movie. A little too much? Nah, and here’s why!

Yahoo Review- When was the last time you watched a movie and after felt so good that you wanted to kiss everybody in the theater?


Going Into the Movie-
Spiderman3? huge, huge, huge let down. Pirates 3? Meh. It was ok. I guess it was worth spending my 8 bucks to see it on the big screen. Fantastic Four 2? Like the first one, hopes not raised AT ALL, so a fun ride of rather boring spacial effects and dull plot. Knocked Up? Funny at parts, super awkward at others, wouldn’t spend the time to see it again or rent it. Shreak 3? Not worth my 8 bucks. I should have waited to borrow the DVD from a friend. I wouldn’t even rent it.
Now, for the TF movie, I stayed so spoiler-free for this film, Jesus would be proud of me. And being the nerd I am (I tried to get all sorts of clips for LOTR, X-men, and 300, or interviews. Any little thing that would tip me off on anything!) I ONLY watched what was shown to me on TV. On that note alone, I went into the movie with no other opinion besides that Bay got his hands on it. So with Bay being in my head as ‘The man that must have slept with Spielberg in order to have gotten to direct this thing, cause everyone knows he can’t direct his way out of a paper bag’ I had low exceptions. Course Spider-Man taught me to never have high exceptions for anything anymore. *sorry. Rather harsh, BUT MAN! Did I not like SM3...anywho!*

Transformers? Will see it again, and again, and sweet Primus again! My friend and I made a promise to see it at least once a week until the DVD comes out. And this is her first time watching anything TF related. I can’t wait for it to hit the dollar theater. Am I being bias just because I’ve been a TF fan since the 80s? No. I’m a huge Star Wars fan, (also since the 80's when first moving to this country) and only saw all three movies once in the theater and didn’t bother getting the DVDs. I felt like, what’s the point? I also rank the first Spider-Man movie as one of my top favs. (Was my first fav, now it’s second. Go TF!!) But I also saw it only once, and rented the DVD once. Didn’t even bother to see the extras on it either just cause I didn’t care too much. I’m guessing they explained the green screen effects for him webslinging, and how the CGIed the crap out him through-out.

Yo ho! Spoliers ahead!

After having my heart broken by Spidy, and not really getting my money’s laugh worth from Shreak, Will and Jack did me proud for POTC 3.
I don’t see 2 as two, but rather 1.5, for 3 was really 2. Cause in World’s End, it was non-stop action and very few explanations about pretty much...ANYTHING. DMC was really more of a Pre- World just so that they could get things out of the way. Like Davie’s Heart, The Swamp Witch, Jack’s....well, Jack was not explained in the last movie nor in this one, and all the love lines. Who loved who or who seemed to love who.

The first three minutes of the movie was just crazy good. I have a high pallet for good script, and while POTCWE will not be winning an Oscar in the area (Best Costumes? Hands down, but not script) it was joy to hear the swavy pirate talk and Elizabeth’s prober English.

The WHOLE movie I was thinking to myself- This CAN’T be a DISNEY movie. It just can’t! There were guns, bullets in foreheads, body parts falling off, blood! Also one of the most gruesome deaths I’ve seen. Well HEARD *cringe* cause not even an R movie should have shown that part. Lots of dead bodies, swords going right through people harshly, lots of drinking, and sooooo many sexual hidden meanings I was laughing my ass off. Ragetti was such a pervert. XD From looking up Elizabeth’s panty-less dress, to ‘releasing’ Calipto, it was too cute.

The plot was easy to follow, unlike some people say. Save Jack, get the Pirate Lords together, fight the British and that was pretty much it. The underline meaning to each character’s personal plot as a bit hard to understand. During some kick ass fight parts, I wasn’t really enjoying it, as I was trying to figure out WHY this person was fighting this person. Oh yeah! Because this person wanted this and this and that’s why that person is doing this. The movie ended with no loose ends, so there for I was a happy camper.

The best part of the movie was the un-real things that were happening. For if this was any other movie, oh say...Resident Evil where just something weird happens for the sake of it happening, this was a pirate movie!! Pirates believed in all sorts of things. And it was ok that there was a 40 foot women because it’s a pirate story. It’s ok that there are undead fishmen- pirates! Why were there crab rocks? Duh- pirates. So that was pretty neat when you don’t have to think about why something is there.

Spoliers? On...ummm trailerness?

So my friend, and I went to see a movie today. Good times. Um, I didn't even notice the trailer really, cause there were no robots in the first 15 seconds. All my attention was on the background music, The new Linkin Park piano melody from "What I've Done." In my head, I was like- whoa. Pretty mellow dramatic. Then Sparkplug tricked his son into thinking he was going to get a nice car (Ha! In your face Shia LaBeouf) which opened up to not only the new BumbleBee design, but a wonderful inside joke to us old school TF fans with the 80's Bug all broken next to him. Of course, I'm still not paying attention that it's the TF movie, until Spike cleans the dust off the steering wheel for us to see the crusty Autobot Symbol. Thus giving me this face- and then I creamed my underpants. FYI. It umm...pretty much went up hill from there. From watching Starscream transform in mid-flight, then crush a lot of concret under him to Prime having the old school TFing nosie from the 80's show to Bumblebee getting shot at by the stupid military that have no idea on what's going on.
I'm pretty sure I can say the action parts will be pretty awesome. I just hope Bay dosn't screw up the scrpit too much.

On the other hand, how good can a scrpit be when there are lots of gaint robots trying to beat each other to death?
