is a website that updates every day with a new drawing assignment. what i do is do the drawing assignment in still life. then i try to figure out a way to take the reference and turn it into a tattoo design.

should be uploading some of the assignments and things shortly.

my friend sean opened up his own shop finally and doesn't have to abide by the apprentice age requirements of the shop he worked at last time i asked if i could apprentice him.

So now im waiting on a loan to give him as my apprentice fee's. then i'm gonna start the same day i give him the money.
pretty effin sweet.

SO...

its been a friggin long time since i've updated the ol' journal here.. honestly i've been neglecting deviantart period. you see my girlfriend got me into gaia since i didn't like it when i joined back in 2005, and now i like it because i can talk to my girlfriend and i guess found the fun in it. but i'll make a note to come on here and talk to old friends and comment some art and junk.

Well i've been doing a lot of different doodles and different techniques of animation lately, slowly getting there. and thats really all i've been doing with my art. When i'm not doing art i am spending time with my wonderful girlfriend ( we just celebrated our 8 months!! )
and working out and doing school stuff etc..

first thing. i met the girl of my dreams! she's really really awesome and i love her. she's been mine for 2 months and a week.. longest relationship i've ever had btw! (go me!)

still have not gotten a new computer... grr. which is why i havn't updated in forever, but xmas time i'm getting one so its all good, just gotta be patient for a few months

i'm still trying to get my comic going. it's all written and actually really damn good, i'm drawing it like crazy now, i'll post some pages when the whole things done.

and yea, besides that. same old matt that you know and love

I've been mega busy with soccer practice and stuff and havn't had time to draw or do anything really besides that, or i had the time, but simply didn't want to draw

kinda gave up for a little while.

but, now i'm back to my old ways, i've been drawing just about every day now and plan on not quitting or letting anything else take over my life long passion.
