heath ledger died yesterday January 22.At the time I heard of his death I was in the middle of reading an article on the new batman movie, in the wizard magazine.Wizard was interviewing christopher nolan and what he thought of Heath ledger as the joker.

He talked about how excited he was working with Heath ledger and the type of energy he brought to the joker character.At first when I heard Heath ledger was going to be joker, I was a bit concern. I have seen alot of heath ledgers movies and I though to my self Heath's playing joker?I just dont feel it.but man when I saw the Batman trailer I was blown away at how well he portrayed the character.It was quite terrifying and creepy seeing him as the joker in a good way just hearing his voice was like I cant believe its him.I know the movie is not out yet but theres no doubt on my mind that christorpher nolan picked the right guy.

I cant wait to see the film, sadly it wont be the same knowing that Heath ledger is no longer with us. when I heard he had died I got a Brandon lee flash back.I was very fond of brandon lee and a big fan as well.

Brandon lee died filming the most important role of his career The Crow.I look at films like the matrix and think Brandon lee, wouldve been great for this role, every movie Keeanu reeves has made I could picture brandon lee in every one of them. Heath also died in the most important role of his career, the man was going to boom! after batman. what Brandon lee did for the crow,and what Heath ledger did for the joker,and Christopher reeve did for superman, will never be the same with any other actor.I feel these actors were born for these roles and they played these roles to perfection.good bye Heath ledger you will be missed.

Well this was the case with me this week I gave a critique to someone's work that caught my attention it was a picture of an arabian(?) dancer. I actually liked the picture but I wasn't too crazy about the face and I politely pointed this out to the artist.

When I critique, I like to point out, in my opinion, the good and the bad things about the drawing. And that's what I did with her drawing. When she replied to my comments, I found her comments to be both arrogant and sarcastic, which I did not appreciate. She then proceeded to block me from her gallery. Then a friend of hers decided to put her two cents into it and criticize me personally;
about the way that I write and spell, which has no bearing on me as an artist. For my part I even offered an apology which she did not accept nor reply to.

I do not appreciate this at all. She informed me that she attends college. Does this make her above everyone else? No it does not, and obviously does not make her a better person either! (maybe
she could take a class in manners)

We put our artwork on here to get feedback from other artists, be it
positive or negative. This is how we learn and develop as artists.
If someone does not want or like criticism they should not post their artwork on this or any other site, and definately not attack anyone that offers criticism.
