Ok I just got the best of the best of Adobe, Photoshop, illustrator, fireworks, flash, and some other stuff. Only I tried to use Photoshop with my Genius Tablet, for some reason it doesn't draw very well, like it gives strike lines but thats only for a time, and erasing them is just as hard. Any advice? Is there a way to make adjustments for my tablet?

An update! T_T

Before I get ahead of myself and all you who might actually read my journal go "WTH?", I am in college, my fifth Semester, and started my first class in Graphic Design (where I finally learn how to use Adobe Illustrator 10. T_T;. And I am in the Art Club, O.o somebody voted me Treasurer but I think thats a bad idea. T_T;;

But thats not the good news! T_T That's weird news.

Anyway. For homework in my GD class we were told there was an annual Holiday Card Design contest. Any medium, every person in any artclass was given the paper. Well. Our teacher made it homework/classwork. And here.. I hate the mouse.. I hate drawing with it but I was not allowed to use a tablet in class.. so I sucked it up and did the holiday card. Something rather simple and pretty colorful..

I was going to send in another entry with a watercolor design---never got the chanse. T_T Even with four classes for twelve credits, it takes alot out of ya!

Anyway. Soon enough I was too busy with the Art club bakesale to even think about the contest.. cause really, the guy next to me in the GD class had this really pretty fancy card in the makings. >
Well anxiously I wait the next day to see the AD about this good news. And guess what she tells me..

I WON THE CARD CONTEST!!! O_______O!!


o.o... And stupid me I thought she ment the pumpkin carving contest that was with the bakesale.. O.o and I kept thinking "I didn't put anything into that contest.. x_x I was runnin' it." O_O But then she corrected me and I fainted.


T_T No I didn't faint but I was in shock!

DUDE. I won a freakin' contest! SQUEEE! Happiest day of my life so far! O_O And do ya know what first prize is?!

100 DOLLARS! A Portfollio Piece! The CARD Actually being made! Thousands of people are going to see it because there is going to be a CEREMONY! HOLY CRAP!

O.o And the AD says it's gonna be at the end of this month! THE END OF NOVEMBER! And ya know what happens the day after the end of November?!

Well good news, Dad and I cleaned out the rest of the driveway (my body is still sore) and got a new battery for my car. Everything is just.. PEACHY! T_T

My first class to start the new semester is in an hour! T_T And I have no clue what will go on in this Color: Theory and Practice class. O.o Its three hours (Thought the first week is more of an introduction to everything, so we get out early) And I have no idea who my teacher is. T_T The last time that happened, I HATED HIM! He was such an ass. Sometimes he was funny. T_T but never happy with what we got done. O.o So I am so glad I never have to take that class again. T_T I would have gotten straight A's that semester if he just liked our stuff enough to grade it! T_T...

So yeah.. I am babbling.. cause I am FREAKIN' nervous here! ;_;

Least the class after that is always fun, well... depending who the teacher is. VAS! Visual Art Studio! @_@ Three hours of study hall! O.o I really hope Chase is gonna be there. O.T he said he be going to every VAS (so do I except Tues, I seriously do not want to go to Millville) O.o Chase is like my only guy friend. Well I turned 20 yesterday but I was so busy yesterday that I didn't even know my computer went off because of the electricity being mistreated from a very very windy day. Plus I had class that day so my birthday was celebrated in class (very short, had to buy the cake, soda and stuff and bring it all myself) then come home and have another celebration with my dad and brother. But it was really sweet the things they got me! ^_^

My work got alot better on regular paper then just the computer. Makes me happy! Seems gray paper works better for me then normal white.

Okay.. to other business...

I got really really syked about this story idea I had last night. For all you yaoi lovers out there, its a yaoi.. of course! And I like it so much that I gonna spend much time on making this story, even try to draw the couple for pictures to introduce them. Its in chapters.. and the title is still being thought over. But the setting goes along with a yahoo rp group I have called Closed_Within_The_Mind. It is a modern world, set 2004, where there are humans, and their are the races hidden from plain view. Elves, drows, dracons, shifters, all run a normal everyday life now.. yet fight for good or evil..

So in this story, these two are involved.. Heh. One very hot pair. Gonna start working on their pictures real soon..

Ugh. My tablet is giving me a hard time. Especially when I am trying to color in this comic page I made for a character whom I made for my rp yahoo group called Closed_Within_The_Mind. A urban fantasy. Actually if anyone seen into my gallery, there is a picture I did, the guy's name is Marron. This guy in the comic is the same, only he is in the year 2004 while Marron in that other picture is like.. 100,000 years in the past! So this guy in the comic is a reincarnation.. Hopefully it looks good once done coloring since it took me forever to draw.. I am still trying to kick my ass and be a better artist.. see how far I can get...
