ALSO! I got a job as a mascot designer with a company here in Winnipeg - I can't post the stuff I do right away, but you'll see it in a few months. I'm also doing at least a commission a day now to cover the cost of Northwest Law Academy enrollment ...yay. *sweat*

Is anyone else getting sick of TV? There's never anything on...and when there IS something on, F.O.X goes over it's time slots with some stupid info-mercial! I'm this close to strangling the dang thing.

LIVE 8 was boring!! did anyone watch it? "every 3 seconds someone dies.." and then they all snapped they're fingers to represent the people dying, but couldn't count to 3! Then they went on to say they don't want our money, they just want our voice.. except for all the donations they wanted, right?

Now I don't want to make it sound like trying to help Africa is a bad thing, it's not! but you can't just throw money at it - if you want to change things, talk to the pope about changing his views on birth control and condoms, not the leaders of Britain, the US, etc... but hey, that's just me.

actually, I came back to about a million message center items and to see I now have exactly 666 watchers! hurray for me.

I think I'll have to get a subscription just to leaf through all my watch-deviations... there was so many, I just deleted'em all. Sorry to anyone who had something amazing.

I also had too many people who added me to watch, so I couldn't go through and thank you all, really sorry! it would've taken hours.

So what's new? my family has found a new place to live, we started moving. I'm taking commissions again (not that I told you guys I wasn 't lol) since my list is nice and short again... uh.. my comp is worth 5 cents now since my brother trashed it with all his junk, and I am now forced to draw at 's place.. but his comp is a god so it's fine..

I'll write up something better in my LJ a little later... missed you guys!

(oh, pretty soon I'll be offering badges, animations and gif animated icons for commission too! ^^ it'll be neat-O - also some neat things thanks to the local picture place, like t-shirts, buttons, puzzles and the like!!)

There really, seriously, hasn't been one single good movie since.. october? about then.. this movie was HORRIBLE, don't see it. It makes no sense, nothing is ever explained (and it's the kind of movie where you need things exlpained, too).. the ghost are retards who can only say one thing "go.. now" "go where?" "..go now" "why? where?". "go now!" and it goes on XP ahh! why can't someone write a good movie, that makes sense?! this was almost as bad as 'the grudge', which was pretty much one of the worst movies ever.

so.. what else was wrong with it.. the CG was terrible, the sad, emotional scenes were really rushed through so you never felt anything for anyone in the film, the scary scenes were only scary because they were LOUD! like one of those really disappointing house of horrors at the carnival that has a bunch of loud alarm clocks going off and flashy lights to keep you from laughing at the rubber skeletion with a missing leg that you coulda swore you saw somewhere back there on the track with pop spilled all over it... umm.. hmm.. yeah, it just.. sucked. sucked sucked sucked. damn movies... if anyone else saw it and knows what else is wrong with it, you let me know! god, I mean.. ugh, it's bad.

I'll probably add to this now and again, but I won't keep sending it to your guy's message center XD

a BAD bug is going around right now, I spent the last two days taking care of my mom because she's been throwing up and can't do house work or anything.. so it's me now. yay... I've also been living on chips and jello. By choice- we're not poor. I hope I don't get it.. because then everyone'll get it. and we'll have a million people locked in their bathrooms cursing my family's name for starting the mutant epidemic. It also doesn't help that I'm something of a germaphobe - you sip my drink, you bought it, pal. SO I've been avoiding touching, eating, or breathing in most of the house.

I got a giant thing of popcorn today. it's cheesy.

One more thing!! I am pissed off! one of the daily deviations today was this bullshit about how Bush is like hitler? BULLSHIT! bullshit bullshit bullshit... sorry. I am really gald that saddam is out of the game, not hurting anyone anymore. And I am glad that americans have the guts to go over and fight the good fight to free Iraq. AND I'm glad that at least some people realize that freedom isn't free, it has to be earned - you can't just.. do nothing and expect things to change, and sometimes, just sometimes, talk can't do it. that's why there's jail. END

I'm not raising it by much, only to $10 US, and I'm being more specific in the more complicated picture prices finally (I've been doing some really complicated, time consuming stuff for $5 lately). I really, seriously didn't want to raise it, but when I have 30 commissions to do and lots of them are complicated and taking up 2-3 hours, I have to rethink it all.. I mean, normal pictures were taking about an hour, which isn't bad but is still under min-wage even. Seriously, $10 for a full polished picture is still an amazing deal compared to what's out there XD

here's how it'll go.

Normal( no background), one character lineart = $5

Normal(no background), one character, digitally colored n'polished = $10

Additional characters in one picture = extra $5 per

Background = $5

After that, if I think something is way crazy complicated or will take forever, I can give yee a quote XD lmao

WHEW! now that's outta the way!! everyone who's ordered or paid for a commission from me already (which is lots, and you know who y'are!), you of course pay nothing extra, charging more half way through would be stupid.

What else what else.. umm... it's cold out, if you see a stray, please take it in, at least for a day until you can get it to a shelter -I always do, it always makes me feel better.. worried it's someone's dog or cat or whathaveyou? they shouldn't be letting it out in the freezing cold blizzardy evilness anyhow and can call and get it at the shelter later. Found a kitten last year, named it kitten (whoo! let's get CREATIVE!) and found'im a good home - please help'em, they can't help themselves.

Now, I realize I've been sort of ..absent. Yes I know, I haven't posted a pic in quite a few days.. I mean to, and I will. I'm working on about 7 commissions for some of you, and that eats up time..*excuses* and umm...e-solutions, glass ceiling...

I've been sketching a ton, I'm trying to decide what to post and what not to since some of it's pretty weird. I'll get around to finishing a bunch of pics real soon for you guys.

btw, I've got this plan now- I'm going to work full time until summer, hit the road with for a couple weeks. We're thinking of heading to Edmonton since there's so much there, but I really wanna go lots of places like Banff and Victoria BC. I've never seen the ocean so.. it'd be nice. Then, after a glorious summer of exploration and mass spending, I'll hunker down and go into that law enforcement academy for 7 months (which'll be costing a pretty penny, but will be worth it when I get my cop job^^)

You know, I feel kind of useless.. I'm not in university, I'm not working yet. I really do feel useless.. it sucks, and as much as I'll regret it later, maybe I should take some classes..

Night is so depressing, noone's up anymore now that summer's over. Just me. Because I'm not tired, I'm so used to staying up and playing.

There's this law enforcement academy I might go to.. and I might start working full time, depending on how the volunteering for the police goes.. it's just so I'll have good stuff on my resume when I actually want o become a cop.

It's pretty lonely so late.. I might as well read something to cheer myself up.

Has anyone here read Catcher in the Rye?

They do tend to take forever because I'm lazy, up to 2 months sometimes, don't be sore about it. There's more to life. Sunshine and..all that.

Here are the rules:

3) Though the character may be yours, the artwork is mine. This usually means nothing but in rare cases asses like to pretend they made it. I wouldn't ever do this to you, I expect the same respect.
